    This app does not allow you to view issues if you purchase a subscription. How this is allowed I am not sure, but I got robbed of my money. I’d expect a refund but there is no way to get it. Utter thievery.

    Great publication, but the app is indeed a SCAM. You don't get your issues, the app support is a dead link. This is literally a scam. I wasted money on a year long subscription. Don't get SWINDLED too. It's insane that Apple continues to allow this app to continue to be listed. AVOID THIS APP! Look at the other reviews! We all got ripped off.

    At one time this app was fine. Issues came aboard no problem. Now not only are we missing the newest Feb issue as its March already, but the older issues I bought are not available for download. I'm canceling my subscription with apple 6/24/17 I would rate the app lower than 1 star. Still unable to download new issues. But they are really good about taking your money

    Bought a year's subscription and still get charged monthly to download. Apple says I have to contact the app developer and they don't respond to emails. Update: they now respond but don't actually fix anything, just string you along. Still spent money and got nothing for it.

    Terrible. I've had Maxim from the beginning. Now they're trying to charge me every time there's a new issue, even though I am currently subscribed . My subscription is due for renew in 2018. Maxim can't help me, and Apple can't help me.

    I used iTunes to buy and PAID for a 1 YEAR Subscription. I was billed for ONE YEAR, and they received MY money. For that I received ONE ISSUE, and when it was time to get the second issue, it would not let me download it without buying it again. When I tried to lodge a complaint I get nothing back but I stupid automated response. Yes, I have tried to recover option and it does not work at all. Yes, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that doesn't work either. It would be really nice if someone responded with the genuine response and corrected the problem instead of the BS you get from a tree of automated "customer (lack of service) that you get from this app and iTunes. If I have it my way I will never buy another subscription or a book of any kind from iTunes again.

    The new app looks cool, but I don't subscribe for cool looking apps, I subscribe through iTunes so I can read Maxim on my iPad. If that doesn't work, not sure why I subscribe to Maxim. Updated 6/13/2017 unsubscribed as I am continually losing access to magazines that I pay for.

    Will download issues in my iPhone but not my iPad. No customer service or support to speak of regardless of wether you're an iTunes or digital subscriber. Maxim and Apple need to get their proverbial s**t together on this one otherwise, why am I paying for a subscription?

    I had purchased 2 magazines, before with great layout and increadible content which had interactive video's which I thought was a great beginning to viewing online magazines! But then, something went wrong, and the new magazine is without videos and can not be accessed by my IPhone 7 Plus 256g (a Ferrari of a phone)!! Please fix, so my recent purchase as well as my old purchases on ITunes will give me the original content with Video as before!! Also, the way the pages and sections where displayed before is superior to how it is now, a simple Adobe acrobat file!! Please bring back old layout to include videos!!

    Subscribed for a year could never download issues and then when I finally was able to get a few on my ipad they updated app and deleted my issues. I contacted Maxim customer service and they basically said there was nothing they could do for me. I demanded a full refund or a new active 1 year subscription and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and hassle and reactivating my subscription they have given me the run around and never provided me with the services/digital magazine that I paid for which essentially is business fraud...offering a product...taking payment for said product and not actually providing the product! Worst customer service experience to date!

    I will be refunding my subscription through my credit card and will never subscribe to Maxim again. This app took 2 months to display the current issue, and won't accept my subscription or restore my previous purchases. So my subscription is now useless and I can't even read one issue. Wish I could give this app zero stars.

    The new Maxim App is the worse in the market. With the new upgrade I lost all my old PAID issues, i called Maximum support 5 times and they are completely lost. They told me SORRY management made de choice to remove the old issues.. we paid for the issues and is ilegal for Maxim to take what we paid out with out our approval, this is totally agains the law.. I suggest they fix this problem as soon as posible or it will be heavy legal action against Maxim. Overall I think this guys are done with this crappy magazine... Is all comercial adds and crapy stories....

    Very disappointing. I downloaded the app and paid for the subscription and only got one issue. Emailed Maxim about the problem and they emailed me back asking me for more money to extend the current subscription that was even working.

    I am still missing the Feb and March issues of the magazine that I have paid for. They are available on other online magazine readers why not thru the publisher. No customer service to contact. It's totally not on Apple it's not their app and they aren't responsible for updating the content. MAXIM GET IT TOGETHER ASAP

    Finally read other reviews as I've been wondering what's wrong with app. Maxim sure didn't mind continuing to bill my subscription while their app is broken. Contact Apple and they'll refund subscription fees and can cancel the subscription renewal. Sad. Always was a faithful Maxim reader...

    First when I was subscribing I wanted to get the paper subscription but for some reason the page refreshed and switched me to the digital. That's all fine until I download this house fire of a app. No February issue and also I can't even log in. I tried to email support but it's been 3 days and all I've got is a computer generated email. Fix the app, refund my money or send me the real magazine.
