The best 5/5
This is the best medication management app ever created. And i am loving it
Fix Apple Watch sync! 3/5
I love this app and it’s one of the reasons why I love my Apple Watch until it stopped working on the Watch. When I make it taken or snooze the reminder it doesn’t transfer to the app anymore. I love this app and I’ve tried multiple pill reminders but the Apple Watch loss of function is sad.
Needs an iOS 11 update 2/5
By Sparky McMuffin
I’d love to see this app get an update for iOS 11. I’d also like to see it updated with iPad support, as well as multiple user. It still works, but it has no icons anymore, and it has to run in magnification mode on my iPad since it’s an iOS app. Not an optimal user experience.
Med reminder is the best! 4/5
I take meds twice a day and this feature **helps** keep me on track. I haven't used any of the other features, so I don't know how they are.
False alarm at noon 4/5
By Servo Focus
Use this app every day now I get a false reminder every day at noon to take a nonexistent pill. Started with the iOS 11 update.
By Bellatrix Unicorn
This app is just wow! I recently had surgery and am on a bunch of pain meds. I also have asthma. This app is great for keeping everything organized. I'm super impressed!
Works great on Android. 1/5
By Nate Lee-Wolf
I use this religiously on Android, and it works great. But on the iPhone, I get no notifications even though they are set up.
Nice but needs update to ios11 and watchOS 4 5/5
No longer works for watchOS 4. Please fix
The time 5/5
I would love to see you guys to advance the time you take your medicine. If I take my medicine at a different time than scheduled it should notify me 6, 8, 10, or 12 hours later from the time I did take. This will take the stress out of updating my reminder clock.
Love it! 5/5
Easy to use, very helpful - especially for navigating pain management post-op for my "patient" :)
Good for alarms, but.... 3/5
This app is good if all you need are reminders to take your meds. I also use it to track my dog’s medicines.
It’s weakness comes in tracking dosages. There isn’t a good way to track changes other than through a diary.
I’ve reached out to customer service a couple of times, but received no reply. It seems they only reply to reviews.
Better than CVS 4/5
I like this app better than CVS but still has some work to do. Marking "take" rarely happens for me. I personally don't like that feature but I understand why it's there. The UI isn't all that engaging. Is there a way to get a little sound with the notification? Mostly like the app and going to keep using for now.
Please fix! iOS 11 update is doubling/tripling meds! my counts are all way off!! Very disappointing. 4/5
updated 10/2017; I love that the developers are very responsive in fixing any issues. I am disabled and take many different medications. I would be lost without this app.
Keeps a very accurate count of pills. The Apple Watch version has improved greatly and is convenient for those times I don't have my phone in my hand. I still wish I could use my own images for the pills but I do love the latest update where I can use my own photos for users! Wish I could drag pills to other areas of pill box to reschedule. I no longer have the problem that it would drain my phone battery while continually "updating" or "searching". That problem seems to have been fixed. I love that this app is continually getting better and better all the time! Love that I can do a note on how I was feeling with a single dose or make a note as to why I took that dose on an "as needed". etc. So this has now been an app I can't live without. I also like the different reminder voices. That's been kind of fun, a nice feature compared to other standard options on other similar apps.
*One other nice thing would be the ability to back up data but not having to do it through iCloud. I thought the app already did that and when I upgraded to an iPhone 7, I mistakenly deleted all my data and had to start over. At that time, I looked at similar apps again but decided to keep this one because it is by far better than any other apps and it is nearly perfect for my needs. I love this app!
I use Meds ever 4 hours and wish it had more options than 4 med boxes/times per day.
Mostly love 4/5
I take several batches of pills every day, this app is a great addition to my arsenal now that I have an Apple Watch.
Two requests: I’d love a complication so I can launch the app right from the clock face. Second for the phone, is there a way to mark a group of pills as taken when they’re scheduled for the same time? Sometimes I have 5 or 6 pills in a batch and it would be much easier to mark them all at once (otherwise it’s longer to mark as taken then actually swallowing the handful of pills!)
Great App! 2/5
Just got a transplant and really needed the help managing all my meds. Helps me keep track of when I need to take pills, and when I need to refill. I like that I can adjust when I need to refill pills (like when I only have two pills left of a weekly medicine, instead of 14 days left of a daily med).
I UPDATE: I’m changing my rating because the Apple Watch app is severely broken. I can tap “Take All” until the cows come home, and it doesn’t record my meds having been taken. I’m at 39% for the week, even though I haven’t missed a dose. Annoying and useless.
Great App! One small bug... 4/5
As a premium subscriber, I’m disappointed that the watch app syncing problems that I have mentioned months ago in a review have still not been fixed. I am now looking at alternatives as this is a big deal breaker for me.
Previous review: ‘ Fantastic app, although there's been one persistent bug for a while now.
When using the Apple Watch app to take a dose of a "as needed" medicine, the dose appears to be taken in the iPhone app, however, it does not subtract the taken dose from the total pill count.
Ibuprofen - As Needed:
105 Pills Remaining
After taking a dose via the Apple Watch app
Ibuprofen - As Needed:
105 Pills Remaining ‘
Love a reminder 4/5
I do love it but.....the only issue is that the verbal reminders works when it feels like it. Most times I don't get the verbal one!
Medisafe App is Helpful 3/5
I was looking for an app to help me keep up with medication for my husband. This definitely helps. I really like that I can make notes. I keep having to adjust or change OTC pain options. I would like this app to help me better record and adjust changes with more flexibility.
Life changing 5/5
I have chronic migraine disease and keeping track of my daily meds, supplements, acute and rescue meds is much easier and dare I say almost FUN with this app. I did purchase the premium membership just so I can have Morgan Freeman’s voice saying “I know what’s good for you. Take your meds” but it’s not at all necessary - the free version is just as good. This sick girl thanks you.
Problems with Apple WatchOS4 pill reminder 2/5
When reminders pop up on Watch, tapping ‘Take’ does nothing although it appears to; the reminders will keep popping up until it goes past the time-interval and then registers as not taken for the day. Watch is paired to iPhone/11.0.1.
Have already tried deleting app from phone/watch => reinstalling.
Good Idea 3/5
iPhone app works great but Apple Watch app not so much. If the Watch notifies you to take a med and you tap "Take" on the Watch notification screen, this does not get communicated back to the phone so the phone still thinks you need to take the med. Other than that, all good.
Great app 5/5
By Timbo 1962
This is an amazingly good app that gives you information about taking your medication and what your medication is for.
The only thing that would be nice if you would add which would give you five stars for me is if you're able to list what the medication is for and that would show up right underneath the medications name because I've had several doctors asked me what I'm taking it for.
Your most recent update has destroyed the app when you try to boot it up it appears for a couple seconds and then goes away
Love it 5/5
Love the app, it helps me every single day. For some reason it no longer shows up with an App Store search - have to Google it. And what happened to the Medisafe icon on my iPad? It's now a generic white square.
Back to being a five star app. 5/5
They fixed the problem with the reported times not being right. Thank you, developers! Once again I can rely on Medisafe not only to remind me when to take my meds and which ones to take, but then to remember what time I actually took them, right down to the nearest minute, so I don't risk taking them too close together.
Makes meds easy to keep up with 5/5
By Kathy Gail
Besides the handy reminders, I like that I can easily track taking PRN meds. I can conveniently see how often I've taken a PRN med over a period of time. It's a GREAT app
App does not connect with Icap 1/5
By ICap waste of money
I contacted ICap to inform them of the connection issues as well as a cap that was not lighting up at all (defective) Their response was to go buy a battery which we tried, but not that they would send a new one and I would send the defective one back. This would enable them to review and prevent any other defective caps. The connection issue still has not been resolved~ I would not waste my money on this product. Medisafe app works well for manually documenting if I have taken my medication.
I would put the app at 2 1/2 star and ICap no stars due to customer service, cost of a product that does not work!
Easy to use 5/5
Recently I started taking a medication with unpleasant side effects that are mitigated if I take it3 times a day at specific times. I had trouble remembering to take it on time until I started using this app on my iPhone. It's easy to use, sends alerts and reminders which I set up to suit my needs, and keeps a record. A very helpful tool.
App is great, but if it’s free, you’re the product. 3/5
I’d love to buy back (some of) my privacy, but not with an exorbitant annual fee. The full price makes me wonder just how many other companies they’re selling my data to in order to make a profit.
# of Refills needed 4/5
Overall, this is a really good app for anyone that has to take multiple medications multiple times throughout the day. The ability to set reminders "to take" and "to refill" is wonderful. Only thing I'd like to see added, at present, is the ability to track how many refills one has left on any given medication.

Great tool to use helps me out a lot

App want to know everything about your health... no thank you
I use this everyday 5/5
This is probably my most useful app. It keeps track of everything I take so I never mess up my meds. It lets me know if my children have forgotten their meds so I can remind them (an optional feature called medfriend, you don't have to choose it). Love it, really.
Several years later I am still using this everyday but now I have a suggestion. I would like to be able to click on a drug and find out how many I have taken in a week, a month, a year without having to go back and count. I would find this terribly useful and I'm thinking it shouldn't be too difficult to program. Thanks for this excellent app! It's more important and useful than any other, hands down!
Make it like the Android version 3/5
I don't like The iPhone version of Medisafe. I started with the Android version which continues to remind you if you have not turned off the reminder. This is convenient when you don't have an opportunity to take the medication or turn off the reminder at the scheduled time. The iPhone version gives you three reminders and then stops.
Will we ever get more med reminder sound 3/5
Will we ever get more med reminder sounds
Great app 5/5
I use this all the time to keep track of my pulse and blood pressure, since the iPhone doesn't let you write down a note (whether you're sitting or standing). The reminder to take medication is also great as well. I like that they include a photo of how the medication looks, etc. amazing and practical app 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overall great and helpful app! 5/5
I use it with my significant other so they get reminders when I forget to take my meds! It's pretty great. And yes my S/o uses it as well and loves it!
Scott Hall 5/5
Love the app but can't figure out how to remove a medication when my plan changes; or who to contact with this type question?
Bugfix please 3/5
Hi, I currently experience a bug when I access the Med Cabinet tab to edit my meds. The app interface freezes when I access it and I am unable to click anything, and refreshing the app only works a small portion of the time.
All else is great, but this bug is currently very frustrating because I'd like to suspend certain meds and stop receiving alerts for them. Thanks!
With some tweaks, could be best ever! 4/5
Feedback for Medisafe:
A) I love that I can set the colors for the pills! That's great! A couple pieces of feedback for this area: 1) Need to organize by # of sides and have an option to jump to non-pills. 2) Make the two-color capsule more obvious (1/2 gray?). 3) Allow user to swipe faster through pill shape and colors.
B) When adding a medication, it would be helpful to retain an arrow (or magnifying glass) next to medication name to show you can get back into the list (rather than trying to swipe back and canceling out by accident)
C) Make it more obvious that rx strength can be altered - we're not stuck with what we find in the list (maybe no strengths, then next screen asks "what strength?" And you can choose "not sure right now" to see a list of common strengths so you can go "right, that's it!"). I tried to enter 5000IU Vitamin D and was perplexed at the lack of options for several minutes.
D) Automatic interaction checker for meds that should never be taken together (i.e., ibuprofen and aspirin), though keep the manual feature for non-severe interactions that a person might want to look up (the kind that may scare some timid people off, but which the doctor has presumably taken into account)
E) The medicine cabinet should have # pills remaining for an easy reassurance, or primary assist if refill reminders are turned off! (Also possibly #refills remaining, so I know whether I need a new script when I next see my doctor? Sometimes I can't remember #refills left and I can only get new scripts by appointment)
F) Passcode is weird - enabled, it allows me to use touch id and never asks for passcode? Add labeling for iphone users so we can just "enable touch id"
G) Touching an area of the pillbox should also allow you to add a new med to that time period in the screen that pops up
H) I've never seen a program that tells you that you need to refill your physical pillbox if you're forgetful (like me). Would be great if we could choose a general type (2 compartments each day for 1 week), the date filled, and have the app prompt me to refill the container between my last two compartments. That would be a very cool/unique feature!
I) Get a better OTC med tracking than apps like Round (I hate that app, so restrictive). We should be able to enter dose, frequency (i.e., 2 pills every 12 hours) for a reminder, the med should have a presence on the main screen OUTSIDE the pillbox. Here it should have a status ring that is red or green depending on whether it's safe to take the med again. When tapped, the window should include "I just took this" and "I'm done for now - the former resets the status to red and begins the reminder timer, while the latter disables the main screen view but keeps the OTC med in the medicine cabinet. This would make MediSafe the best combined Rx/OTC tracker I've ever seen.
J) Iwould pay $1.99 for the last two features, though you'd have to highlight the OTC one really well in images in your AppStore page so that the appeal is readily apparent. Also I would recommend that you make it clear on this page what premium actually entails.
K) Finally, I think you should rename the picture with "Manage your meds" as "Track Important Measurements" or something, because that's what it's actually showing and you don't have another image explaining that feature.

great resource 5/5
By Chow Mein Maximum
Medisafe makes it very easy to keep track of meds! I use it to keep track of my antidepressants which is really important to me. Very simple to record, great reminder system, and easy to look back and see your progress and records of previous weeks. Also, apparently this app offers in app purchases. Never would've known! Some apps are annoying with that, they'll let you get it for free but then you're barraged by the fact that you can purchase this or that. Medisafe does none of that. Good app.
Great app! 5/5
I am recovering from knee surgery and I love this app! It helps me keep track of when I took my pain pills safely!!
Weird glitch? 3/5
It keeps restarting my entire phone. Any explanations? Cause it's annoying.
Suggested improvement 3/5
Good app but could be better. Need to add a place for how many refills are left and when the script will expire. I just ran out of my heart med due to the fact that I was late in refilling the script before it expired, although I still had 1 refill left
Very helpful, but... 3/5
I am grateful for this app, however I would like them to fix a couple of things in the interphase with that Apple Watch: despite the fact of telling from the watch that all the medicines have been taken (specially the ones at night) still appears in the phone the numbers in red waiting for you to open the app to disappear (of course when you open the app states that the medicines have been taken). Also, every time I travel and change zone times, the app gets very confuse for at least one day before realize the time change and ask if you want to use the new time. My preference would be that the change occurs automatically! Other than that the app is really good!
Excellent app! 5/5
Could not be happier with this app! It does everything I wanted and more
Finally able to stay on schedule on all my pain meds, neither missing a med nor doubling up because I forgot that I already took it. Love how easy it was to set up and use.
Med app 5/5
Awesome app to help remember your meds
Almost Perfect! 4/5
Some of my pill counts are off on times but other than that I love it!!
