  • Great app but..... 2/5

    By Crizzo82
The recent update made the keyboard way too big. It now takes up more than half of the screen and almost makes the app unusable for me. It takes me longer now because i have to minimize the keyboard to edit a cell now so i can whats see in a cell then bring it back up every time i enter a value. Time consuming for sure.
  • Hard to use features 3/5

It's nice to view documents, but it's too hard to select and use features when using my smartphone.
  • Doesn't work on IPhone 8 1/5

    By Domino1849
I bought an iPad 10.5 and excel didn't work for over two months. Guess you fixed this problem with an update as it works now. Just received my iPhone 8 and excel refuses to even let me see my documents. Now waiting on an update for that.

Find very handy to have this AP since, specially for keeping Rosters
  • Copy function doesn’t 1/5

    By YouWon'tLetMeChangeIt
Why does this app add a space at the end of the data in a cell when you select the cell and choose “copy”? My guess, lousy programmers!

    By VonHawk1960
10/15/17 - Thanks to a contact email from the developer, the recent update to Excel worked. 10/13/17 - TERRIBLE. My iPad will only update to 10.3.3. Whenever I launch Excel, it crashes every time I try to open a document. For a free version spreadsheet, this works wonderful. I'm able to do some things in Excel that I cannot get to work with Numbers. I'm using a couple of shared spreadsheets. The only problem that I've run into is that there is no way to tell when the other person is in the spreadsheet and sometimes it corrupts it. I would consider paying the monthly fee, but I cannot justify that at this point.
  • Great App 5/5

    By Jesus Reynoso
Only thing I don’t like, you can’t move your margins. Other than that, it’s very useful on the go.
  • Best 5/5

    By Bikermjs
What can you say. It’s excel and it’s a great app.
  • Don’t like anymore 1/5

    By Toe Knee K
Cannot edit on my iPad Pro without paying $7 per month. Therefore they sucked me in with free excel and now I cannot edit my one and only file. $7 per month for one file, I can’t do that. I am going to learn to use Apple Numbers. I’m retired and watch my expenses. Such a shame they do this to people but that’s The Microsoft way. It’s a strategy.
  • Update 4/5

    By Wanttosavecards
After today’s update can’t open any files. After few hours worked. Scary
  • The app doesn't work 1/5

    By Col RCC
Will not load a spreadsheet after it opens
  • Can't edit documents anymore 1/5

    By MalazCusser
I could previously use Excel on my iPhone to edit files on my personal Dropbox on the go. No longer. It now says it requires an Office 365 subscription, despite documentation from Microsoft contradicting this fact. Their support gave me the major runaround. What used to be totally functional is now worthless.

    By HlCunningham

  • Broken 4/5

    By Lawken45
This app was awesome until the latest fix was released. Now I can open the app but when I try to open a file the app closes. I must say that the developers contacted me within days after writing this review. They had a fix for my issue. The only reason I don’t give this app 5 stars is it seems like I am the quality assurance side of Microsoft.
  • App Crashes when trying to open a file 5/5

    By Delaware62
After the last update a few days go, Excel is not working. I can open the App, but when I go to open an existing file the App CRASHES. Thanks for the update that destroyed my data. Is this a new form of ransom-ware? Please fix this as soon as possible or provide a means to access and off load the files. Just checked and the developer appears to have fixed the issue. Nice response time.
  • Casi como el de la computadora 5/5

  • Excel on iphone 3/5

    By rongunsea
It's ok for viewing an excel file you created on another device but very difficult to make any changes, or even to select a cell to look at its formula. In fact the formula bar isn't even visible. However Excel on the iPad does not have these problems. I have iPhone 6s+ and iOS 10.3.3. The problem problem seems to have disappeared even though I haven't updated any software. I can select and edit cells now.
  • Last Update on 10/09/17 5/5

    By AggieEx67
Since the last update the app opens, I see my files, and I try to open one it says "working" and the app closes Word still works but Excel is dead in the water. They fixed the problem, and I guess they do read these.
  • Newest update has fixed crashing. 5/5

    By ChapKersh
I literally use this app daily. Glad they fixed the crashing issue fairly quick.
  • Needs one feature 4/5

    By Alex 53466775432654
Good product. I thing that I wish they had was a feature that when ever you click on a cell, it automatically displays a key pad with numbers at the bottom. You usually have to manually click on the key board at the top and then click on the (123) to get the number key pad going. I find that inefficient
  • Subscriber and can't access files! FIXED 5/5

    By BobbyMazz
Another reviewer said MS told him he couldn't access files because he didn't subscribe. I'm an Office 365 subscriber and I can't access my files. I can log in, get a list of files both on OneDrive and iPad, but when I go to open one I get a working... then crash. MS: PLEASE FIX!!!! PS Thank you for the quick turnaround on the fix!😊
  • Pretty good 4/5

    By Chappachappa
This app used to be perfect. I don’t know why but they changed how data is selected. I can’t use the pressure feature when moving the curser precisely anymore. Everything else is stellar. Good job.
  • Love this app 5/5

    By MrCub96
Having Excel on my iPhone is awesome. Works seamlessly with the desktop version.
  • They fixed it... happy again 5/5

    By Jen9998765
There were several reviews related to the app crashing after an update - including mine. It took a week or so but they've fixed it so I am updating my review, as I love the app and being able to use excel with my iPad.
  • Don't bother. 1/5

    By $?runt?$
Of course it's a free app. All it is subscription add on. You must fist buy Office* for thus app to do anything. Don't bother. Looking for a similar spreadsheet app. WPS is great for iPhones. Just a little pocket version of your daily schedule/spots. Of course I thought this was an app for excel. But there is no way to write without signing into an account and accessing your need-to-purchase Microsoft Office.
  • Bring back v.2.5. V.2.6 doe not work 5/5

Wow! They fixed my problem with an update in 2 days! Back to 5 stars! ( problem was: the newest version would not let me open my files.)
  • Crashes when opening a file from Dropbox 2/5

    By ParTee2014
I attempt to open a file from Dropbox, it shows going through the process and then BAM it goes to my home screen.
  • Keeps crashing... 1/5

    By TJS832
The app has been useful in the past, but lately it keeps crashing every time I try to open a document. I've tried reinstalling and doing a reset, but nothing has worked. Please fix.
