  • Problem with making notes 1/5

    By nikra
There is a problem with this app. I cant make notes. Once i close the back notes button doesn’t work. And the slide doesn’t get smaller like before when i was writing notes. Please fix it asap
  • new update super slow at loading PowerPoints from OneDrive. 2/5

    By Tori_Hodge_
I have spent hours trying to load PowerPoints, and they never load! I am highly dissapointed!
  • Overall satisfied, but not totally reliable 3/5

    By Thy Waterbottle
Like the title states, it’s overall very good. However, I’ve noticed when I go back to review after taking notes on the slides that sometimes what I’ve written is either shrunk, out of place, otherwise mis-sized, or altogether missing. Needless to say when it comes time to review I’m missing ~15% of my notes. If this gets fixed and I can have complete confidence it’d be an easy 5 star app. Also would love google drive compatibility!!
  • Bad update for iPad 1/5

    By jhans04
The new update for the ipad is terrible. It is nearly impossible to take quality notes now, which is the main purpose of this app.
  • No Notes 1/5

    By studier29919
The notes feature hardly works with this new update. Sometimes I have to put it in split screen just so I can get the notes function to open. When I do get the notes function to open in full screen, it is not possible to resize the slide so you can only see half of the slide while you try and take notes. This severely hampers my use of this app. Please fix these issues.
  • Not supported by Microsoft!!!} 1/5

    By Austintk
You will not be able to talk to a human if you purchase this product.
  • Feature Request: Select Multiple Slides 4/5

    By ShrewdWill
I like the app, but it would be helpful if we could select multiple slides at once. If there is a better way to give technical feedback, then please make it easier to find within the app.
  • Update ruined multiple functions 1/5

    By BeenTricked
Notes will open until I switch apps. Once I switch back notes won’t open. Slides won’t shrink. Really making certain academic task difficult. Very frustrating.

  • Very bad update !!!! It is going to slooowwwwww update!!!!!! 1/5

    By Rrrrrr5551555551555
I was using the slideshow and writing on it with the apple pencil and it was very good, but after the update is really bad!!! I can't delete the written thing or anything it is going toooooo slooooowwwwwwwww
  • One huge problem for me 3/5

    By Gutz97
I think this app is great on the iPad Pro; keep in mind, I am not that picky. This app works great for what I use it for. However, there is one major problem that I hate; when I write with my Apple Pencil in slideshow mode, it is so laggy. It writes very well out of slideshow mode, but then every image and text I touch as I am writing will prevent me from writing continuously and smoothly. PLEASE fix this.
  • Better than nothing 1/5

    By ArthurMachado
Unless you save your files on the web the program can’t save things in your iPad except to a hidden directory you can’t find or access. The functionality has less than ¼ of the features you would find on regular PowerPoint or Office programs. The interface is clunky and has none of the functionality of standard office programs. Furthermore, the Microsoft support system personnel have not been trained in the iPad compatible system and as such can provide no technical help. All in all I am disappointed in the program, but I will admit it is better than nothing.
  • New update is subpar 1/5

    By Beveerrrrrllllyyyy
I used to love this app when I’m taking notes on my IPad. However, its slowing me down and annoying me. Here’s why: 1. Whenever I try to type something in the notes section, the slide doesnt resize anymore to fit the screen with the section open. Even if I try to minimize the slide, you can’t move it to the side to keep the whole thing in view. 2. The names of my presentations are disappearing! For example, I’ll have a presentation that I named “Ch. 14 Cardiac Assessment.” Now it’ll only show me “Ch. 14.” I’m getting confused in trying to open the correct presentation! 3. When I try to save my presentation from one drive to another, it’ll save the presentations in both drives instead of just transferring it to another. I don’t know if that bothers anyone else, but it bothers me. PLEASE FIX THIS WITH A NEW UPDATE. OR JUST BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS UPDATE!
  • Just disappointing after how many years now? 2/5

    By storeE8
I’ve heard from a couple forums that the online MS office website is far more powerful than this. Without even having tried it, I’m sure they’re right. This app should be amazing - especially with the pencil - but at this point I think they’re telling us they just don’t care. That, or I wonder if it’s just somehow impossible to fully bring it to iOS with their 90s based MS code because if they started up again from scratch they’d be infringing on more modern IP 😂 Want to spend a few hours being frustrated and looking for things that aren’t there? Try this app. I challenge you to figure out how to add a stroke to a picture. I figured it out right before I realized I’ll never use it to create or edit anything with it other than simple text. It’s a glorified .ppt viewer for my iPad.
  • Love the new pen options in draw! 5/5

    By Apelpapa
Love the new pen options in draw!
  • Wish I could go back 2/5

    By Appcrazy15
I wish I could go back to a previous update. I can no longer type in notes and look at/draw on the slide at the same time. Also, one minute a pencil is there, the next it has disappeared...the new update has some serious issues. I will change this review if resolved.
  • Muy buena aplicación 3/5

    By Ivmxxv
la verdad que muy buena. El único problema que le veo es que no tiene vista de moderador!!
  • Claim of “full function with 365 subscription” is bunk! 1/5

    By Rrtss
I have a prof who releases slides minutes before class, and I take notes on them, but with out note taking options in PowerPoint I have to export and when that happens half the text is oversized and doesn’t convert properly. PowerPoint app doesn’t even work well with other Microsoft apps!i have to use my computer to convert to pdf properly, and then put the document on my tablet- not gonna happen moments before class! Allow us to “print” slides and note sheets set up, like on computers, from this app to others in pdf form! AND keep the text the size in the file- STOP CHANGING THE TEXT SIZE!!!
  • Missing basic functionality 1/5

    By Trivial Sublime
I want to love this. I really do. Unfortunately, Microsoft has left out plenty of basic functions that PowerPoint requires. For example, you cannot create or edit Slide Masters. Microsoft’s answer: “If you need to do that, go to a computer and use the desktop version.” Gee, thanks Microsoft. If it can read an element of a presentation, it should be able to edit that element of a presentation. Until it is able to do so, this is just a toy rather than a serious productivity device. I’m seriously wondering if Microsoft intentionally cripples iOS versions of the Office suite to boost Surface Pro sales.
  • New update is not an improvement 1/5

    By Deezey311
The new update is a huge down grade. You now get glittery pens - but functionality has been lost. I used to be able to shrink the size of the powerpoint slides and type in the note section along side - which was carried throughout the powerpoint file. Now every time I switch a slide, it is MAXIMIZED to the largest size possible - and I have to re-shrink it down again and again. Even worse, the slide can no longer be moved to the side to accommodate the note space so that you can view the slide and notes fully and simultaneously side-by-side. Not only that, but every time I minimize the application to jump on safari powerpoint restarts completely, and I lose my place in the slides. These complaints may not seem like a huge deal, but for someone who is in PA school and sits through 6 hour lectures, these are huge disappointments and annoyances. I’ve used powerpoint since I began college 6 years ago, but I will be using another app if these problems aren’t fixed soon.
  • 4 stars 4/5

    By mshwc
4 stars because you can't record directly into the PowerPoint.
  • Equations are not shown properly 1/5

    By pedro112299
Equations written on Office 365 (including Word and PowerPoint) on a MacbookPro won’t be shown properly on the iPad Pro. According to Microsoft’s customer support, this is due to font incompatibility and there’s nothing to be done about it. This issue basically renders Word and PowerPoint for iOS useless for me.

  • Legendary 5/5

    By Kernal Corn
Its amazing but i think it needs a few more options to make PowerPoints even better.
  • Really wish I could love this... 1/5

    By Bass Singer
Have used PowerPoint for years, but this iOS version of the Office suite is completely unusable on iOS. It is massively underpowered compared to its desktop version, and completely unintuitive in terms of the layout of the options. Add to that it’s a massive memory and space hog (typical of Microsoft bloatware) and there is unacceptable lag using my Bluetooth keyboard. No problems in other iOS apps, mind you, but it takes a full 2 seconds for keystrokes to be recorded on screen when I’m using any MS product. Can’t justify the obscene price they’re asking for a subscription when they can’t even get typing text to work properly, can I?

    It’s bad
  • TOO SLOW 1/5

    By Cloudyface2774
It takes forever to type and it crashes your entire email when trying to send the presentation to someone. Not pleased.

  • Must have 5/5

    By PMW135
I use this every week. Very convenient and powerful tool
  • Way behind current tech 2/5

    By realreviewsnobs
I use this app daily and have submitted many requests for simple improvements and it has only gotten worse. It has Apple Pencil "support" no more than using a $1 stylus from the checkout aisle. Zero palm rejection, limited customization of the color pallet such that I have to scroll through the color wheel each time I choose a different color, even though I only use three. Other improvements have been made that have made the app better but this is a big disappointment.
  • No Google Drive support 2/5

    By Mmw562
I like the app ok - but it doesn't offer any ability to access files via google drive. I would change my rating to 5 stars if it did - as it is, I'm forced to use a cloud service I don't particularly like (NOT OneDrive - I refuse to use their service because it seems they are knowingly cutting the competition off to push me to use their service, which makes me FAR less likely to ever use it)
  • Great! 5/5

I love this mobile version of Office!!!
  • Useful if you can't get to a PC, and even when you can. 5/5

    By PerryBorenstein
I find the iPad Microsoft Office applications useful. It requires dexterity, and has a learning curve. It takes a lot of experimentation to map touch to mouse actions. But the investment of time is worth it. Be careful: if you Store on a cloud location when you're done, let Powerpoint complete its upload before closing it, or you can corrupt the file.
  • It is great, but it crashes too often. 4/5

    By abtractinkerer
I use it to present lessons in class. It’s great for that.but it will crash most days while I’m writing on the slide. So then I lose my annotations.
  • Works well, needs watch control 4/5

    By zabadu
App works good for presenting something from your phone in a pinch. What would be great is if you added slide control thru iWatch. Imagine are using your phone to present to a room of people, your phone is plugged in to tv/projector and you want to walk the room to engage audience. Being able to flip slides from watch would be a GREAT addition!
  • having weird warnings 1/5

    By KrissygiflH
Tried to get in touch with support and they keep telling me to do the same things I’ve already done.
  • A bit quirky with Dropbox, buggy PDF export 1/5

    By donovan1983
I use PowerPoint primarily to convert my professors’ PowerPoint lectures into PDF and it used to work adequately for that. It often took multiple tries because for some reason the app would just not be able to upload the exported file to Dropbox and would not give any warnings that it failed, instead leaving a zero-byte PDF in Dropbox. When it did work, the PDFs were the same as what the Windows desktop version produced. In the most recent update, however, exported PDFs have a box drawn in the upper-left corner of every single slide that is not in the original file. The desktop version doesn’t do this and neither does Apple’s Keynote iOS app. This breaks my only real use for this app.
  • Too Simplified 4/5

    By strategic fool you agent
It is a very simplified version of PC ppt. I am using it as a viewer instead of an editor. The writing using Apple Pencil still need to be modified, but it is better than formal version.
  • good but 2/5

I use this to watch and listen to lectures and it freezes and crashes my phone and new iPad often. Other than that it's great.
  • Why did it delete my presentation!!? 2/5

    By Budddy-05
I was almost done with a presentation for school and then it randomly said, "it can not be opened." It was all lost. It was like It didn’t ever exist that I did that presentation. I can’t find it! What is going on!!??
