Two thumbs up for this app. I had been using Keynote previously, but, after looking at reviews of this, I finally decided to download. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything is better than keynote. There are so many more opportunities on PowerPoint
  • Great for viewing, but impractical for editing 3/5

    By Paodequai
Unlike any other iPad app, PowerPoint will faithfully reproduce all .ppt and .pptx files I have tried. However, other than minor text changes, it is so underwhelming for editing to be unusable. Multiple object select and multiple slide select would make it useable. I'll subscribe to the ipad pro version if you add this. Update: thanks for multiple select. Having to tap everything in a drawing is cumbersome. Can we use the lasso select tool to select the objects please. Not just hand drawn objects.

Useless for reading presentation notes. Crashes every time.
  • iPad Pro // pencil issues 1/5

    By Medic741
Drawing on the app works only intermittently. The lines go from fat to thin with no pressure change and while trying to make professional looking slides it looks like I'm writing with a leaky pen. No other apps have this problem with my devices. This is a software not hardware issue. MS -- please fix asap
  • Astounding 4/5

    By Leemzowski
Great app , simple design and easy to use.
  • Need to fix landscape mode 1/5

    By rolaidsson10
I would give 5 stars but it is incredibly annoying that I cannot see the slide and type notes simultaneously in landscape mode. Ruins the experience for me on the ipad pro with the keyboard. Update: not only this but now it wont download files from one drive and I have effectively lost my work. Thanks.

It's amazing what you can do on the go! All the features of the desktop at your hands on your cell or iPad. The only improvement I am waiting for is to an able to use my iPhone as control while presenting on the iPad.

  • Bug report 2/5

    By Peter Cranstone
In addition to the notes bug we can add this one. Open up a deck, press the play button and it roates to landscape mode. Once it's playing, simply rotate the phone to vertical and the slide deck crashes (but the app remains open).
  • ❤️ 5/5

Very helpful I use it for school and for fun stuff. I like it a lot. And thanks for making this an app
  • Needs a warning of memory remaining! 5/5

    By Dlj39
Moving up to five stars now that third party remote devices are available to advance slides during presentations. Works great as long as there is plenty of space remaining in memory. If you run out, the program crashes and your slides/data are lost. Deleting some songs or videos is better than running out of space before the app is fixed with a warning.

  • TRAAAAASH 1/5

    By Irongirl965
This is sooo buggy, screws with your files, and... DOEST EVEN SAVE YOUR WORK! And dont use text boxes! Oh no no noooo you cant use those! You can only type in them if you click the correct way, or they delete themselves! I SWEAR ITS LUCK WHEN YOU GET IT! This is not even worth 0 dollars and 0 cents. Awful, just awful.

    By tawkinhedz
Not letting me edit notes. Ppt is being opened from iPad, duplicated from internet.
  • Still missing critical capabilities 3/5

    By Deeee1234
Can't believe I'm giving an app by MSFT two stars, but without the ability to select/group multiple objects, the app is almost unusable. In addition, why haven't they implemented line sizing capabilities? Could be a great mobile alternative to the desktop... I'm starting to think MSFT doesn't want folks to really use it. Please guys, its not that hard: long press, selection square, move or group. You guys can do it!
  • Horrid- slow and buggy productivity killer 2/5

    By ErikMTB
Anything more than 5 to 10 slides with photos is a horrid experience. Load times are ridiculous, sometimes more than half an hour, if at all. It is safest to use it in airplane mode because it will kill your battery trying to reach OneDrive, and you may never see it again if you trust the connection to OneDrive really works. In airplane mode at least it saves to your device. You can risk saving it to OneDrive later. Evernote or MarkUp are much faster and more stable if you are doing photo-heavy documents. Overall this app is a productivity killer...like me writing this review to save you painful minutes or hours.
  • Will not let you store in Gdrive 1/5

    By Easy game
Microsoft Powerpoint Mobil will not let you store in a google drive (Gdrive). They are the sears of the time and are forcing people to use their products. Sears did this in the 50's with only selling their products, they almost went out of business. Microsoft wants you to buy their cloud subscriptions for a monthly fee. I just paid for 365 to find out that my documents in Gdrive will I want to store them, but I can go to Gdrive and open and edit. The reason I purchased this product was to share between computers on products like my macbook pro, my Ipad and my phone (Note that none of them are Microsoft products). Microsoft is given enough to say they are playing along, but not enough to make it really usable. Stay away from the trap I fell in, $99 a year is not worth being forced down a path of Microsoft products. I have moved away from Microsoft products such as Microsoft desktops and Windows servers. The only good feature I believe Microsoft has is their office suite. However, it has not really moved into the future and I hope that someday someone replaces it. Microsoft product on individual level are great, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint do what they need to; however, there is no interconnection to their products, do they not all come from the same place. Microsoft mommy and daddy. How come I don't have interconnections to web and usable data that links to spread sheets, (with out writing code). I should be able to do a presentation, connect to spread sheet that loads a web page that shows how servers or my product inventory works all with a few clicks, drags or something along that line. I really wish that someone would create something better and user friendly between all products at a cheap price.

Really great app. Helps a lot when I do not have access to a computer at home when I need to do homework. And I need to do projects.#9/10 great app. Use this if you go to school still.

Muy buena y efectiva aplicación; tengo la licencia, pero debería ampliar más sus opciones para que llegue a la excelencia. Tratar de ser igual que el Office que se utiliza en computadora para tener los mismos resultados de compatibilidad (5 estrellas).

I guess it was updated or something, but I can no longer access old ppts in order to take notes in class. super inconvenient, fix your life. also, I agree with a previous reviewer about the ridiculousness of having the notes take up the entire page when in landscape mode. seriously? EDIT: now I'm having trouble using this app to take very important notes in class because it is constantly freezing and crashing. in the middle of class. before my exam!! reduced to one star just cause no one really seems to give a 💩
