  • Can't Keep Up 1/5

    By Michael Hickey
I use PowerPoint for large, complex projects. This app can't keep up; crashes if I even try to open my files. Get with the times guys. I'll be happy to leave 5 stars if this upgrade comes to fruition.
  • Limited But Still Great 5/5

    By rsperryhouse
The App doesn't have all of the functionality of the PC version. But it's still worth the effort. Great App.
  • No chart? 1/5

    By Michael Tang Lee
Are you kidding me? No chart on iPad version? How can it be described as a productive tool without the function of creating chart? Even excel has this function! Too bad!

  • Improvements Needed 3/5

    By Quixote01
There are several issues that need to be addressed with the new format that Microsoft has taken in respect to the Microsoft Office 360 but I will only address two of them, the lack of case format options and the online subscription issue. To me, it seems that the PowerPoint part of the Office 360 version has been strip down to the bare basics. There is no Change Case option as the previous PowerPoint had so if you want to change the text to have them all capitalized you will be forced to do it by hand. Unless there is something that does it like it used to and I haven't seen it which I doubt since I looked everywhere on the options given. Second point is the subscription issue. I understand that ever since Adobe took on the subscription format for its Photoshop Suite Microsoft jumped on the bandwagon. Business wise its brilliant but both companies did not care for people who live in places where internet connections are poor or non-existent. I've traveled extensively to places where there is no internet available at all and I've been handicapped by this policy. I wish that there was still the option to buy Microsoft Office 360 without subscription at the regular old price so that you can still benefit from the updated versions but not have to depend on a yearly subscription.

    By jorge1561p
Needs a way to create folders inside the iPad folder to regroup the archives. I was waiting for a remote app so long. And now the app offer a Watch app. I don't know for what if only work with the PowerPoint for iPhone not for iPad. Now I have a Apple Watch but I still without remote control for my PowerPoint for iPad.

  • Useful and convenient! 4/5

    By Indestructible_love_
A useful and convenient tool for me! Surprised to know that I can create a ppt file on this small device. Although, sometimes, I wish I could access more options in terms of the functions, I'm satisfied with using POWERPOINT on iPad.

    It work very well!
  • Still a Bit Clunky 4/5

    By BoyandaniPad
Having this app and capability on the iPad is great! But some of the interface is still a bit clunky and causes a level of frustration as I try to do some things and the touch interface makes it difficult.
  • Very intuitive 5/5

    By Hellmice
First rate, felt as though it got easier exponentially and almost became intuitive. Thanks

  • Yeeesssss!!! 5/5

    By S.A.M.M.Y.
PowerPoint is my go to for trainings, teaching, and counseling sessions! I love the update. My only gripe, if I had one, would be the app needs more themes to choose from for slide design.

  • Microsoft has been listening 5/5

    By Adamalb09
EDIT: I'm very happy to see that Microsoft has taken my review seriously and fixed many of the major issues I had spoken about previously. I am happy to say that my experience with this app has been exponentially improved as the updates rolled through. Thanks guys 5 stars As a med student who heavily utilizes PowerPoint to review lectures and take notes, I've been satisfied with the app over the past 6 months with my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. The compatibility with iCloud made it easy to access my lectures across all my devices. However, Microsoft needs to keep things simple and stop trying to improve things that don't need to be improved! After the April update I had to delete and re download the app multiple times as certain presentations were failing to open. Also, for whatever reason, when in presentation mode (how I primarily take notes) the eraser doesn't work anymore. I have to continuously exit presentation mode to erase. Another annoying thing is that sometimes the app freezes and the app doesn't allow me to escape from presentation mode and wont respond to anything but a force quit. Another issue I absolutely hate the new interface for "notes". In previous versions, the notes icon would remain grey if there were no notes typed and be red if notes were present. This was helpful when reviewing lectures initially to see if the professor had added extra notes in addition to the slide. Now every slide has a red notes icon weather there are notes written or not! You can only imagine the anxiety all of these bugs give me especially when trying to get everything down from my hasty professors flying through material. I love this app but please Microsoft fix these issues so I can fix this review. If not I may need to revert to a third party note taking app.
  • Used to be great 2/5

    By Concernedcorporal
Love this app, and have used with success for years, but the latest update has destroyed my current presentation- specifically the animations tab now has a mind of its own and it is much slower. I will have to cancel my lecture because I now cannot finish it in time.
  • Worked perfectly for me 5/5

    By Paul Golhashem
I needed for my presentation! I was nervous but worked perfectly for me! Thanks

  • Useful if you can't get to a PC 3/5

    By PerryBorenstein
I find the iPad Microsoft Office applications useful when I can't get to my desktop. It requires dexterity, and has a learning curve. It takes a lot of experimentation to map touch to mouse actions. Accessing a remote location on two devices can lock a file and make it either unavailable or requiring the saving of a copy. This happens even if you only access the location and not the file.
  • Excellent application 5/5

    By guillo54
Nothing but the best app. Plenty of very practical and functional features. I find it to be easy to navigate. It does provide an environment with the potential for communication and creativity that is second to none
  • New update broke presentation mode! 1/5

    By Yep-Nope
I was practicing a presentation when I decided to upgrade to the latest version. Bad idea. Presentation mode on the iPhone distorted the slides so I can no longer present! Please fix!!!
  • Love it!!!! 5/5

    By Mohawk-2000
Love it!! This in conjunction with the one drive app is gold for going through, annotating and saving lecture slides!
  • Ok and would be better to open ppt files in keynote 3/5

    By GeorgeinUK
At least there should be a prompt, keynote or PowerPoint. Or any other app that can handle ppt!!! Please fix it.
  • Best way 5/5

    By ::Skyli::
    Go with it forever.
  • Go anywhere 4/5

    By sherriean
If you are already familiar with Power Point it is easy to pick up. I really like this app because it allows you to take your presentation anywhere. Sometimes you just can't or you don't want to take your lap top with you and this is an easy alternative.
  • Excelente herramienta 5/5

    By El Kamava
    Muy buena!
  • Great Replacement 5/5

    By Indecisive Gourmet
This is a great app. It has improved steadily since early releases, and makes iOS seem a reasonable replacement for using a laptop when on the go.
  • Excellent 5/5

More than expected as a useful app
  • Great Version!!! 5/5

    By TopGunJethro1
Easy to use and share your power points with other users. Lots of great features. Love it....
  • Stuck loading under the "Open" tab 2/5

    By P3zman
This app worked at first but now every time I open it, it goes to the "Open" tab and gets stuck then crashes. I have Dropbox connected and nothing else. It's a shame because I was using this app to study my PP's with the notes.
  • For work and school 5/5

    By Suche
I've used this for both work and school. I feel it's very easy and intuitive to review and edit, better than the actual app. Nice the you can play the slides and see notes as well.
  • Living in a MS and IPad iPhone world 5/5

As I live in a MS and and iPhone IPad world this and other office apps have improved my world.
  • PowerPoint 5/5

    By MattMeine95
Little hand said it's time to rock and roll.
  • Bad 1/5

    By Mikel27
This app is so pointless, despite the price. If you use PowerPoint for anything other than middle school projects, this isn't for you. And if you're in middle school with an iPad, paying for Microsoft apps, well your parents should be disappointed in your poor investment choices. Edits are very basic. And the user-friendliness of the pen and the app is an afterthought without doubt. Don't let an apple employee tell you it's the same program just on an apple device - very far from the truth.
  • Very useful for studying on the go 5/5

    By Rockie211
Seamless access to slides for studying anywhere!
  • Great if you have no choice but to use PowerPoint 1/5

    By The real BigJim
The major detriment to this version is the requirement for an expensive Microsoft Office 365 subscription. Still falls short of the presentation standard of Keynote.
  • Keep crashing 1/5

    By Pilili2108
    Usual Microsoft flawed program.
  • Easy of use 5/5

    By Biopkl
Easy to use, good back ground themes.
  • Works great in mobile! 5/5

    Love it!
  • Turned my iPad Pro into a laptop replacement 5/5

    By BigTex - Cory
This app is seriously good. Content creation is actually easy on the iPad Pro now and this app I expect will only get better with 11 coming soon. Only thing I need now is a good remote for advancing slides...any ideas?
  • I use the app more than the desktop version 4/5

    By Kjfisher421
Easier to shape picture, annotate, and maneuver than the desktop version. Have had issues with blanking out slides (slide is still their in preview pane but can't see it in main view.
