Combine trips 2/5
By Dyno B.
Makes reconciliation of records easier if we’re able to combine trips on the same day.
Needs improvement 3/5
By DJ Trackstar
I pay the yearly membership. Sometimes you have to plan your work into your daily life and Vic a versa. This doesn’t easily allow you to identify trips. I wish you could edit some details so to identify when I business trip ends and a Personal begins or Vic a versa.
This would also allow me to ether point out when one business trip ends and one another begins.
They should also put in an odometer check so I can really make sure all my miles are being calculated.
Love it 5/5
Mile IQ makes tracking mileage for my business so much easier. I especially love that I can save similar drives as business so it does it automatically.
Love it...download it an use it. You wont be disappointed
Great app. One flaw. 4/5
I would never have the discipline to actually track my drives without this. I find that it does catch every drive. I have an iPhone 6s. My guess is others with problems have a phone issue. My one feature request is that it would push a notification that would let you quickly classify a drive immediately after it is recorded.
Great tool 5/5

Love how easy it is to track mileage
Not sure what to think 3/5
I've had this app for about 5 to 6 months now… I use it because a lot of other people do, and that gives it credibility in my mind… However, sometimes I would swear to myself that it misses a trip here and there. Today I was swiping through the trips, and I noticed a trip that went from an old place of residence of mine, to a job that I haven't worked at for months. When I saw that it was on a Friday that was on the 8th, I realized that the trip was from back in September 2017 and it is currently the middle of December 2017.
I'm really hoping that this app becomes trustworthy and reliable, because I love the interface and it has already really made a name for itself. Unfortunately, for people to trust anything to do with their taxes, it really is going to need a lot of improving.
Easiest Mileage Tracker Ever! 5/5
Super mobile friendly, easy to use and reminds you when you forget. Can't say enough good things!
Thoroughly Enjoy 5/5
Began using this app as a trial and upgraded because it caught every move I made. I have recommended to other friends. I enjoy the fact that it provides reports on a monthly basis. Great for record keeping. You can even label locations traveled to frequently. Love it.
Great App 5/5
This has helped me keep track of my miles for my business, personal miles driven, and miles driven for my job. Keeping track of three reasons for driving is pretty time consuming and the app has helped make this more manageable.

Get and use this app! Keep IRS happy
So easy! 5/5
By Texas Tiger
The app is so much easier than the manual entries I was doing for my business driving. And the ability to print a monthly report will help greatly with my taxes!
Awesome app 5/5
Love this app. Makes tracking mileage so easy, makes my accountant happy
Love the app 5/5
As a realtor, this app is about as easy and user friendly as it gets and a necessity for my business.
Working so far 4/5
So far, so good. This far this app has tracked all driving, all personal up to now. Will be required to track all of my business mileage starting this week.
Can’t use if you can’t verify email 1/5
I have requested the verification email be sent to two of my email addresses (personal and corporate). There is a link in this email that must be clicked on within 24-hours to activate the MileIQ account. None of 10+ requested emails have been delivered.
MileIQ did not capture any drives for a whole month 3/5
Missed a whole month of logging. Don’t know what happened. No warnings, no explanation.
Good For my needs 4/5
I work several PRN jobs in addition to my FT job and having this app helps me log my trips, tolls, Parking , etc. All areas that I needed proof of for my IRS filing last year and didn’t have. Things should be better this tax year
Winner, winner, winner 5/5
It has worked well for me. I am sure I have accounted for 10-25% more business miles that I hadn’t been getting!
A must for REALTOR’s 5/5
If you need to keep track your mileage throughout the year so you can work it out on your taxes this app is a must. I’m a real estate agent and this is the best thing I found so far!
Amazing & Effective 5/5
By Home Fax Inspections
My only complaint is that I didn’t start using this app sooner. I’ve been able to deduct more mileage in three months using the app for my business travel then the previous year using a standard excel sheet. It pays for itself, no brainer, super easy and very effective.
Avoid this app 1/5
Decided to try this one and it missed 2 175 mile trips in one week. Unacceptable if this is what it is for to begin with.
Misses Some Trips 3/5
I love the app but it does miss some trips - my last one was approximately 13 miles on the freeway with no stops in between.
Pretty legit! 5/5
When I keep the app running in the background, it catches every drive I ever do. Great for people like me who get self employed business miles deductions.
By ToF Deacon
A great mileage tracker if you remember to keep it on. You can always categorize personal trips. That’s what makes it easy to use but requires time to categorize trips.
Newbie user 5/5
Only had it installed for a short time but it will be very useful in 2018.
Pays for itself 5/5
Great app. Simple to use and captures all your drives. AP loves the monthly summary too.
Works great for mileage! No extras. 4/5
App works great for tracking drives and mileage! Easy to use. However, I wish it had the functionality to track fuel expenses, as well. Have to use a different app for that.
Very good app 4/5
Does a pretty good job of picking up trips and logging them. Occasionally misses very short trips. Very easy report integration with concur, shortens my expense report writing time which is important to me.
So far so good 4/5
By Bill Marlow
It’s been one week. It is doing everything it said it would. I like how easy it is to choose business or personal.
Works great behind the scenes!!! 5/5
If you turn on the auto feature it is always running in the background tracking your drives. Then I go in and swipe right for work related expenses and left for personal ones! Pretty sweet stuff!
Love this! Can’t believe how much the miles add up! My only qualm is for some reason it doesn’t save an App icon on my screen, so I have to go in the App Store daily and search for it whenever I want to use it. If this could be fixed, it’d be the most amazing thing ever!
Doesn’t work 1/5
Literally downloaded this app and set it up the way directions said and it will not track a single drive.
Smarter than the average app 5/5
Intuition. If that was the only word I could use to describe what makes this app different from most - that’s it. I especially like the layout, ease of use and design that makes it effortless to keep track of miles- I’ve surprised myself with how many more business miles I had than I thought!!!
Not very efficient 3/5
Seems to love to log all my personal drives but today and yesterday it did not log 6 of my drives that needed to be logged.
By OT Jodi
I can’t believe I waited to get Mile IQ! I’m a home care Occupational Therapist. Paying $6 for the monthly convenience of easily tracking my mileage and getting a monthly report is so worth it. Being able to download it to Dropbox is perfect.
Awesomely easy 5/5
By J Brauner
Wish I had gotten it sooner. I would have saved a lot in taxes.
Paying for Premium but locked out? 1/5
I've been going back and forth with the app's support team for three weeks. I've been paying for the premium version of this app since March, but for the past two months, MileIQ has been limiting me to the basic features - even though Apple continues to charge me the subscription fee and I've furnished those receipts to the support team. Hopefully I can reach someone through here that can fix this problem? Otherwise, the app is getting deleted and the charges challenged.
Such a timesaver! 5/5
I have used MileIQ for two years and going strong!

This app is ridiculous!! Never got it to work and can’t get it off my phone!!🤬🤬🤬🤬 I wish I could give it negative stars!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!
Incredibly easy and accurate 5/5
I love the app. It has never let me down. It's great to see the $$ amount after my trips. The auto classify feature is so helpful!
Not the “Gold Standard” that some claim it is 1/5
Having used Mile IQ for several weeks, I keep being progressively more frustrated with this app. This is the first Microsoft application that I believe that Microsoft should be ashamed to have inflicted on the Marketplace.
If you need to keep records of distinct visits to different locations that are physically closer than about 1/4 mile, this will prove to be hopelessly frustrating.
I’m getting very close to giving up on this abomination!
My first comments follow:
Recently, I started using MileIQ because of frustration with a competitor’s application. Rather than being much better, MileIQ has proven to just be less bad. It has proven to not be reliable in sensing and recording drives (an even more common problem for the other app), and it sometimes stops recording a drive somewhere during the drive (also a more common problem with the other app).
MileIQ does not handle nearby different locations well. Although very distinct, (such as on opposite sides of a wide street and hundreds of feet apart), both locations will be treated as being the same one.
Unlike the other app, MileIQ does provide a reasonably convenient way to edit, add, or delete drives. For now, this is my main reason for continuing using MileIQ.
I like it and use it 5/5
By Mike in Texas
Wish you could add drives in app.
You can on desktop.
Work trips 3/5
By Slow shipping
Misses a lot of long work drives every week.
Functional and efficient, but features need work 4/5
By Longhorn Lawyer
Iphone app interface is not the most efficient. Drives should be simpler to join, because auto-drive tracker recognizes too many stops during urban drives, and the join drive function is clunky and inefficient. Second, creation of custom classification should permit user to select icon and/or edit the native classification options.
Pretty accurate, needs to get used to. 4/5
Was put on to this app for making mileage tracking easier for expense reporting. Tried it mid week in the last week of November and was frustrated that it got several drives incomplete and from different locations than I was at. Example: stopped for gas on a business trip and lost the first half of the journey.
On the flip side, it is easy to edit out mistakes on the web based screens @ MileIQ site.
Found that once I named the 19 stops I frequent on trips during the month, it was a breeze to get the app to be a lot more accurate.
Going to try this for the month of December and might buy an unlimited package. Forty drives will only last about ten working days as a network and computer field tech.
Maybe the developers should consider an initial 80 drives for the first month and then forty after that (?).
Sometimes confusing 4/5
By Thanks vl
I love the fact I do not have to use paper anymore! I find sometimes I have missing drives & then have to pull addresses together to complete the missing drive. I would say the only it’s a nice system overall, but feel the dashboard is a little confusing when trying to pull up individual months.
By Allie and Ashton's Mom
I do all the accounting and paperwork for my family business. This has saved me big time. Noticed it was missing small stops. About 3 miles each day. I reloaded it on all devices and it’s great. I hope it will always work great.
This app is so easy I love it
