AI CHEATS 1/5
Thanks to the turn history it helped me confirm the computer straight cheated. It rolled doubles and landed on Virginia Ave. paid the rent owed then it rolled doubles resulting in an “8” landing it on chance. Chance card said advance to “Go” Collect $400 (yes, set to 400). It stops on Boardwalk buys the property then rolls again. It rolled 3 double got sent to jail. How is it allowed to stop on BW and buy it and not complete the chance card?
Now it won’t let me post the 1st review...
Not worth any money 1/5
Most rigged game ever
Rigged AI 2/5
I was skeptical about the comments that claimed that the AI was rigged. Unfortunately, after playing about 15 games, I think they were right. The game seems to be rigged that the computer is more likely to get the positive chance/community chest cards, saving the crappy ones for you! I'm OK with losing fairly, but get really annoyed when I get the short end of the stick. AI is also dumb in what it will/won't accept for trades. Very frustrating!

I started playing this game and thought it was actually pretty fun... However I am now starting to think that the game is somewhat rigged...
The reason I believe this is I just went around the board about 5 or 6 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME I PASS GO I LAND ON INCOME TAX AND HAVE TO PAY $200...
And I'd say about 9/10 of the time when I'm at the end of the board just before the starting mark I find myself landing on the spot between Boardwalk and Park Place and have to pay another $100... Not happy
Can't trade with all players 1/5
This app is almost useless since you can't trade with all other players. Makes the entire experience not worth it. I won't change my review until they fix this issue.
Rigged dice rolls 1/5
When I own half the board, and it is not landed on once throughout almost the entire game, there is absolutely no other explanation than the dice rolls being rigged.
This would be a really good game if the AI was given actual random dice rolls.
DO NOT BUY 1/5
Horrible waste of even $1.00
This game is rigged so the computer wins every single time. You land on all of their hotel properties they land on your Baltic ave. property only.
The game is a piece of ***t. Whoever designed it must have loved Hal3000.

Bad graphics plus confusing!!!!
Decent game. Cpu rolls are corrupt 1/5
Monopoly is a fun game at it plays really close to the board game. Unfortunately the computer rolls are fixed and make the game unplayable. This is not a knee jerk reaction. I've logged over 20 games and found the computer rolls what the computer needs almost every game. Conversely the player will roll into opponent hotels/income tax/go to jail consistently. Creator of the game did well with details and overall game play but needs to randomize the rolls for both players for game to be worth it.
Rigged against you 1/5
Totally in favor of the AI computer players. I controlled all but one monopoly. Computer never landed on my spaces, but i conveniently landed on their 10% of the board every go around, sometimes rolling a 2 or 3 to land on it a second time. Or magically sent back three spaces by a chance card to land on their property. Untill i went bankrupt. I have yet to win a game. And this is on EASY!!!
Amazing work 4/5
I enjoy playing Monopoly! But it kind of reaches a point when the game turn boring. Just add some features,
Need an Update 4/5
This is a good game but need a update forthis game new features graphics and everything please
It's mostly okay 2/5
It's the classic game we all know and love. Graphics and animations are well done. There are some annoyances though:
- cannot save personal default game settings. Every game you need to remember to enable rules like free parking or 'land on go get $400'. Let me save my personal defaults!
-make animations configurable. I just want to see the piece move around the board most of the time. I'd like to be able to turn them off, they are too time consuming to watch.
-agree the AI seems a little predictable. Also, took me forever to figure out how to change the skill level, again nice if it would remember my previous settings.
Revision: lowering my review to 2 stars. the AI skill level just seems to mess with the dice probability. I just finished a game where it took me owning the 8 most valuable properties with hotels, 8 least valuable properties with full houses, and all 4 railroads to win. AI racked up ~$3600 before it started landing on my properties.
Also, the statistics don't calculate net worth only cash on hand at the end of the game.
Whoever wrote this game would not seem to have picked up a monopoly PC game from the last 30 years.
Not a good game 1/5
This game is very bad. Even people who love the game hate the app. Here's why, the computer is way too unfair and good. Just look at other reviews, many of them go into detail of what I just said.

Wasted $0.99 on this one. Gameplay isn't terrible but it KILLS my battery.
Save your money people
Rigged - Like a carnival game 1/5
The AI makes moronic trades and seldom lands on your hotels. The dice are not random ;-)
Game is rigged 2/5
By Over time
I have played it many time and have had the (AI) only land on its properties. It is no longer fun I have a system to win the game and then the computer rigged the dice.
Pretty annoyed. 3/5
The difficulty that you put it on just means the level you're going to get f*@#$d I have owned a whole side of the board minus the railroad, electric company and the community chest and some miraculous was the computer has been able to avoid landing on any of my six properties every time they went around. And although the computer never lands on my properties I always seem to land on the most expensive property the computer own without a doubt and it's almost predictable. But other than that the game is pretty fun.
No online multiplayer 1/5

No issues whatsoever. It is fun play!
LOL THE DICE ARE SO RIGGED 1/5
The game makes the odds against you so much. Don't waste your time and money on this crap game.
Great game - ignore bad reviews 5/5
By Ya boy mt
This has been my go-to game in times of boredom, on flights, and on the toilet for over a year now. I can promise you that there is nothing other than randomized dice rolls regardless of difficulty level (despite reviews suggesting otherwise). There is a psychology term for this phenomenon of believing the deck is stacked against you, but I'm no psychologist. The key to the game is learning the computer's tendencies, knowing how they value different properties at different times/situations from a trading perspective. My win percentage is over 80% on hard. I suggest you try to win the left side of the board (pink and orange) and build up houses asap. Let the computer pay big money for green/boardwalk/park place. Good luck getting houses on it (everyone once in a while they will succeed, but statistically in a $1500 starting game they won't be able to do it).
Great app!! 5/5
I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, I have never had any issues with this app whatsoever. One of my favorite!!
*Fun to play with your friends* 4/5
Fun game to pass and play or connect with your friends! Looks good and fun to mess around with the settings. Very satisfying to win.
However, I wouldn't recommend playing with AI because the winner is decided from the start and the games have time limits, meaning that if the game decides your going to lose its very frustrating to play because of how blatently obvious it is.
Don't bother 1/5
Don't bother buying this game if you're just playing against computers, doesn't matter how many properties you have- they never seem to land on them but you can bet you're landing on theirs every frigging time. They really should fix this it makes playing not even fun.
I swear this game is ridiculous. 6 times in a row I landed on the go to jail square consecutively. Then I got past it and landed on community chest. Got sent to jail. I'm so done with this game it's a waste of money and time the cpu players have god like luck whilst you have zero. I'm still playing the game to see how many tries it takes me to get past the go to jail square. I'm in jail ATM.
Great game. Computer plays fair! 5/5
Before I downloaded the game I saw a lot of reviews saying that the computer had favorable rolls. That is not true. I have now played 10+ levels at the hardest level with 1, 2 and 3 opponents. I have won every game and all the dice rolls are totally random.
DICE ARE RIGGED 1/5
Clearly the dice throws are not random when playing against the AI. This doesn't mean the dice outcome is predetermined to land on a specific square. Just that dice throw is no longer neutral to landing on all available spaces, but bias toward an unfavorable outcome to compensate for poor AI logic.
This also doesn't mean you can't win, because the AI makes stupid trades. Once you figure out how to trade with AI, you will win against three AI opponents 90% (34 of 38 level=hard) of the time.
I have seen this before, it's hard work to build a good AI. Much easier to give favorably dice throws (or favorable cards) to AI, than spend time and money building good intelligent AI.

Lot of bugs 1/5
By Alex Hoang Dinh
I can't understand why EA abandoned the Monopoly Here and Now World Edition which is smoother and has better design. This version is really ridiculous with lot of bugs in trading
Best dollar I've spent on the App Store 5/5
The graphics are bit dull, but otherwise it's a really solid game of Monopoly with plenty of customizable rules and options. Great for playing on the train or on your lunch breaks. Don't worry about all the reviews saying the computer cheats. I've been playing all afternoon on Hard and I haven't lost a match yet, though the computer isn't a push over either (unlike the disappointingly stupid AI in Monopoly Plus on the PlayStation 4). It's an excellent package for only being 99 cents.
So fun! 5/5
Very realistic to real world gameplay with a couple changes. First game was frustrating as expected but I won my second game! If you play strategically, you have a better chance but a lot of it comes down to luck.
Rigged dice 1/5
The dice rolling is obviously rigged to screw over the player. It is uncommon to actually land on a property you can buy, all you do is pay rent on the AI properties and land on community chest. Waste of money. Also the AI never lands on your properties
Save your $$ 1/5
Worst rigged game ever. You can own three sides of the board and other players will land on community chest, chance, or anything other than your property while you land on theirs every time.
I liked their other game better 4/5

Monopoly used to have this other game called Monopoly Hotels, but it has since been deleted from the App Store and I wish they would bring it back it was fun

I don't know if it's rigged but I always win in 1v1 but never in 3 or 4 player so I don't know, if you like monopoly like me you should get it
Not bad 5/5
Me vs 3 pc's won out the gate. They make dumb trades
The AI definitely cheats.
Great game for keeping the capitalists alive and competitive. I played it when I was in Russia's St. Petersburg.
Computers will sometimes land on a property then put it up for auction, then they try there hardest to bid on it even if it goes above original price.
I love monopoly but... 2/5
I'm a type of person who's skills-set allows me to dominate in all my monopoly games. I'm undefeated. I make 7 year olds cry and fill 90 year olds with minutes of regret. This monopoly app is very well produced. Images are flawless.
Now for the problems. I'm on a monopoly level where no one will play a game with me anymore. I rely heavily on the AI opponents provided within the app. The programming of this app leads me to have several issues involving real world gameplay. Firstly: over my many games of monopoly I've been able to get a feel for how the die are going to roll. More often than not, the numbers which are rolled in the app are too "convenient" for a real world simulation. If someone just built a hotel, someone is going to land on it within the next round. Secondly: to springboard from my first complaint of convenience, the AI always seems to be able to predict what's going to happen next and plans for it. For example, the AI will stop after building one house on each property leaving over 2000 in the bank. An average player would max out their budget to build houses in hopes that someone will land on it before their next turn. The computer always seems to know when they're going to land on another players property in advance and plans their budget accordingly. So where the average player is going to lose money mortgaging and reselling houses, the computer is exempt from mortgages. Thirdly: the difficulty level of the AI seems to stem primarily from the ability to make trades with the AI. Level three doesn't allow any trade and level one allows all trade. Fourthly (is that even a word?): More players! Monopoly is amazing when you can max out the number of players playing. Three opponents is a good start but five would be much more entertaining. Lastly: it'd be cool if we could change up the game a bit in the settings. While the average house rules are included others aren't: immunity isn't an option (i.e. If you're trading for the third property for your set, it'd be nice to offer a one or two stop immunity for that player who's trading you the final property). Another house rule which hasn't been fully exploited is the option of building unlimited houses/hotels. Once you're at your first hotel that's your max earning potential.
All in all an amazing game if you have players in the same room as you, but if you're playing against the computer you're out of luck.
Its RIGGED! Save your money 1/5
This game is unbeatable, even on difficulty 1. Its ridiculous. The dice are clearly rigged and the AI is fixed to win. No matter how much money you have or properties you own...you lose. You are consistently unlucky and the AI is the opposite. I thought it was me at first, but I've played this game over 10 times with the same results every time smh. You could literally have 4-5 full properties with houses on them and the AI almost never lands on them. But they could have 1-2 and you will land on them consistently. Very frustrating. Save your dollar.
Game is Rigged 1/5
I don't know if it's only on difficulty 3 which is the hardest, but the "difficulty" just rigs the game against your favor. It rigs your dice to land on the luxury tax, other people's hotels, and it also rigs the CPU's to give each other monopolys just so you don't win. Rigging the game makes the game very unfair and unfun.
Rigged Dice 3/5
By Elly Bennet
Don't get me wrong, I love Monopoly. I'm not a bad player, I actually typically win most of the games that I play. But the dice on this app are undeniably rigged. For example, I played a game where the AI continuously landed on all of my properties, UNTIL I figured it'd be a good idea to put hotels on them, then the AI just stopped landing on all of them, over and over and over. It'd get high numbers and skip right over my properties, back onto its own properties. Somehow, I'd always get numbers that resulting in me landing on their most powerful properties, typically the greens. Eventually, I had to mortgage almost everything, and THEN the AI landed on my things, after they were already mortgaged. Prepare to be stressful, because the chances of being "unlucky" can be high in these games.
Super fun 5/5
This is just one of the things I do with my husband every night. 😉
This game is a loaded game. Enjoy my money. 1/5
Never thought I'd regret spending one dollar, but here we are. Where to begin? Probability is thrown out the window. The game I rage quit was riddled with improbable outcomes. For instance, the last three available properties were going to decide the game. The ai had two of each of the aforementioned properties, so me buying them would put the ai in a predicament to where I'd eventually bleed it of money, as I had the only monopoly on the board with the pinks. Well what did the ai do? Three turns landed on exactly all three properties. The ai went from zero monopolies to three. What's more, is that it wasn't landing on any of my properties. I was landing on every property owned by the ai. What did it do immediately after? Hotels on every property it just bought. What did I land on two times in a row? The hotels.
Now you're saying, "but this was an isolated incident, surely." Nope. This has happened every single game I've played. Not once have I won a game, and not once had it been enjoyable or even contentious.
Now for more of why this game is worthy of zero stars. The help & about section isn't working, the statistics section isn't working, and I can't host my own online game, or join one in progress, which means I'm only able to play against the computer.
"why don't you just change the computer difficulty?"
I forgot to mention that that doesn't work either.
So much is broken on this game, and its unfortunate. None of the real-world strategies work in this game at all. There is no such thing as statistics and probability in this game; only certainty. It's a certainty that you will lose every single game that you play. Expect nothing more.
