I really needed to start focusing if I wanted to lose the baby weight from THREE years ago. Nothing was working until I finally started paying attention and doing the math. Great app and so easy to use! Halfway to my pre-baby weight and feeling accomplished!

Really annoying bug across iPhone X’s that doesn’t allow me or my buddy to tap “save” on the top right when trying to create a meal. That happens 100% of the time for creating a meal and any other time for some reason the top right of the screen is just unresponsive. Also there are random instances where tapping to add something is just unresponsive for like 3-4 taps. I believe this is only on the X though because I never experienced this before upgrading. If you’re not on an iPhone X this app’s 5/5 though! Very clutch.

I can track my daily foods and calories burned during exercise. A good enhancement would be to be able to put in resistance training calories so I enter it all in cardio since I can make my own exercises and enter the calories. This is a great tool for being health conscious or losing weight.

This has been requested for years. I do prefer this app over others, but I’m SOOOOO sick of counting out my net carbs! Please please make your app Keto friendly. I’ve already started using another one but I really do prefer MFP more, the other is just so much more Keto tracking friendly.

I have tried so many apps to help me count calories, track workouts, and monitor nutrition and by far, this app is the best I have ever used. I have lost 10 pounds using this app. It’s easy to use, straight forward format, and I love that I can scan things and it automatically logs it in. I recommend this for anyone wanting to lose weight or maintain their weight. It also breaks down protein, carbs, and fat. It has really opened my eyes to things I would usually eat on a daily basis that might not be as healthy as I thought. Try this app! You won’t regret it!

This is the best app I have ever used for tracking food and exercise. I have used it since March 2017 and with the ability to track my process have been able to continue my weight loss begun before discovering MFP. With the help of this app it’s been possible to shed another 83 pounds.
MFP also gives the ability to meet and get to know people who are also working on losing or maintaining their weight.

Looks nice, but not accurate or Keto-friendly 1/5
Just tried the trial and am glad I didn’t buy. It only tracks three macros, including fat, protein, and TOTAL carbs. You cannot add fiber or net carbs to track. Also, there’s no way to correct or report errors when other people have already uploaded partial or incorrect nutrition facts for a food item. I might go back to Carb Manager which let me do all of those things, but doesn’t look as fancy or curated. It is just much easier for Keto.

I have never used a calorie tracker before. My diet philosophy was eat less, lose more. Using this app for a week has completely changed my opinion about calorie counters.
First, the app makes it really easy to enter food and exercise. For food, all you have to do is scan the product bar code, adjust your portion, and tap a check mark. Entering cardio exercises is simple, because the app links with most of the popular fitness apps. Even better: you can access the app from computer, tablet, and phone and all are synced.
I know a lot of research, programming, and hours spent inputting data was put into the app and I applaud the effort. However, I feel your pricing is absorbent, which is the reason for the 4 star rating. Make premium reasonable and I will be the first to sign-up. Otherwise I will continue using the free version and reap the benefit of reaching my goal of 36 pounds in 3 months and the app owner will only reap the benefit of knowing that they helped make my goal a reality. Highly recommend.

I saw this on the news and thought it would be good to get. So it says that you can try an upgrade for free for a month, not true! I sent them a message and they blamed iTunes for charging me. I don’t believe that and you shouldn’t too!

Will only let you add one item to breakfast. Does not save anything else. The check icon to add doesn’t work properly. Have to tap on it many times to get it to work. Tried on the adding food and adding friend screen. I’m using iPhone SE with latest os.

The food database is the best from every other app I have used. Adding recipes was easy and works well with the Apple Health app. Download you will not regret. I have the free app.

A little tedious getting started but once you figure out the tricks - like the import recipe feature, it gets much easier. Really eye opening as far as what you thought about portion size and calories consumed and helps you make informed choices about what you put in your mouth and whether it's worth it!

I originally downloaded this app as part of an assignment for a bio class, I used it for a week and set a goal to lose 1 lb a week and it worked great. 1 year and a half later I’m down 76 pounds, 10 inches off my waist, a size xxl to a small, and on top of all of that I have abs now!!! What started off as an assignment turned into an amazing change in my life. The app is very easy to use and can even estimate your weight if you log all of your meals and workouts which is very motivating to show you that the work will pay off in the the long run. I recommend this app to everyone whether you want to get in better shape or be more conscious of your diet.

Absolutely worthless as far as the quality control on the menu of foods. And features that would make the app more useful aren’t in it. And don’t bother requesting new features. The company obviously is resting on its butt and milking the large user base, most of whom probably don’t use it or don’t care about accuracy in their diet.

Now that I have my Polar, and use the Polar Beat app, I find it extremely annoying that my Polar is set to sync to the iPhone Health app which is set to sync with MFP, and after 2 days of initially using and it syncing, it hasn’t since. Frustrating as I’ve deleted and downloaded all apps and realigned to sync to each other, and sent an email, and not even a response to that from customer service.

I like that it keeps me accountable and realistic about what I’m eating. But it’s incredibly frustrating how inaccurate many of the entities are. The “approved” entries are often the worst. What kind of metric is “one whole pepper” as a serving? And, when I crosscheck nutritional data of, say, a 4 oz chicken breast, most of MyFitnessPal’s options are often 50-75 calories different!

I only use the free and have had it for a couple years. So much free content is already added to the app I just haven’t purchased the app yet. I recommend this app very strongly to anyone that wants to track what they eat everyday and live a better healthier lifestyle.

I love MyFitnessPal - it makes tracking my food and manage not just calories but the essential carbs, protein and fat ratio so easily. You can import your favorite recipes and MyFitnessPal also provides great recipes as well. Their food database is just about endless including many store brands. When it comes to fitness they also shine here with videos and you can link many of the fitness trackers out there so you are not miss a beat in your fitness quest. I highly recommend this app for anyone who wants to change they lifestyle - because that is what weight loss is all about and MyFitnessPal also provides very informative emails to help you reach your goals

Lost what I wanted and still going !!!
Riddled with bugs - not worth the $9.99/month 1/5
I only gave it one star because there’s no option for zero stars. Over the past three months of use, this app continually doubles up my macros and calories in Apple health which affects other apps I’m using to track my health. This seems to happen on a completely random basis. After submitting multiple reports to tech support I only get a generic reply back thanking me for my feedback and someone will be in touch. Apparently MFP developers have known about this since October 2017 and still haven’t fixed it. Requires the user to continually double check Apple health data against what is reported in MFP. This app is garbage at the moment and not worth the 9.99 Per month. If you are going to charge me for it, at least make the thing work. Very disappointing.
