mySugr: Diabetes Tracker Log app reviews

  • I appreciate this app 5/5

    By muddypinkprincess
The only t1d app that I like using. I've tried so many. If you have an accu chek monitor it's a must because you really do t have to do much it keeps track and logs all you bg checks for you and imports it straight from monitor to the app. On my less lazy days I love going in and documenting more and seeing all my progress. A huge thumbs up from a young lady who has been t1d since 1996 this is by far my favorite app so thank you!!!
  • Not truly free 1/5

    By Eaglewarr7
This is not free it miss leads you to think it’s free but it will cost you $39.00. Once you download you get your free log after you pay $$. On a fixed income have to look at everything.
  • Going from paper and pencil to this app was life-changing! 5/5

    By KelsieADM
Simple to use, fully featured and made it insanely easy to send logs into the diabetes educators. ‘Nuff said :-)
  • Good app, yet updates are not specific 2/5

    By אנונימי34670:/
You guys should say what the update is about and I will consider changing my review because the app is pretty good.
  • Wow, excellent custom service! 5/5

    By G3mmy
A recent update to this app caused data loss and frustration. I reached out to their support team and received a response within two hours. Wow!! I'm back to loving the app and have bumped up my review and rating to reflect this terrific customer support. Thank you!
  • Love this app but... 4/5

    By SamsGirl2002
I have used this app for about 3-4 years to track my glucose & it’s my favorite of all I’ve tried. Recently I’ve noticed that even if I set a reminder to test after meals, the alarm does not go off and I don’t test at the time I want to test. I am trying to pin down meals and foods that may produce a spike in my glucose and catch that spike when it occurs so I can improve my control. But if the alarm doesn’t go off, there’s no point in setting it. So that has been frustrating. I tried to find troubleshooting for it but there was nothing anywhere about it except how to set the reminder.
  • Great app! 4/5

    By Bbecca7
I started using this app a week and a half ago and I love it. I like that it shows an estimated a1c so you know kind of what to expect when going into the endo. I wish it left more fields to input exactly what you ate besides a little description box. But it’ll do for now :)
  • Awesome app! 5/5

  • Awesome app!! 5/5

Very easy and supple to use. Nothing fancy just tracking blood sugars but there are a lot of other perks if you choose to use them and to push forward!!

  • Great! 4/5

    By rbraddy1113
MySugr is very helpful in looking at your BS and insulin data easily, I really love the calculator! All you have to do is put in your correction factors and carb to insulin ratios and it does the work for you! I love that at certain times if they day your ratios can be adjusted, that is a great feature. I only wish it was not $2.99 a month 😕
  • Happy user 5/5

    By Meeladyt
This machine is fantastic. It is so easy to use and to keep track of my sugars.
  • Needs better reporting built in 1/5

    By MarinFan
If it had good PDF graphics as well it would get 5 stars. Analytics are way behind other apps. Still an indispensable aid. Analytics similar to those in the app but in PDF form would be great. And now the Pro version has adverts. If the adverts persist I will cancel and get a different app.
  • This app has changed my life 5/5

    By yoga4diabetes
I live with T1D and wanted to have support as I worked with fast acting insulin. It’s been so easy to use. Seeing my data in real time. Having a coach to help me and unlimited test strips delivered to my door. I love how it syncs with Apple health and my ACCU-CHEK guide meter too...
  • Best app for diabetics !!!!! 5/5

    By Diorluv22
I have steroid induced diabetes so my sugar levels usually are everywhere with this app I don’t have to write anything in a book or try to keep track in my head this is a real life saver for me not to mention the unlimited test strips

Love the free version. It tracks everything I need to track and is easy to use. I think the little monster is fun, as are the challenges.

I was diagnosed with type one diabetes not too long ago, and mySugr has tremendously helped me out.
  • Good app 4/5

    By skunkyferret
The only thing I don't like about this app is it doesn't support one touch meters and instead
  • All glucose entry’s gone 1/5

    By Brinebaby
I was in love with this app a couple of days ago. I just needed something easy to track my levels and to see a graph of my habits on the pill and off the pill. I woke up this morning with all my entry’s gone expect maybe 3-5 for the last couple of months of manual entry. YIKES!!!! I logged out and back in thinking there might have been an error but no data came back. The only things I see for each day is either “before meal” with no glucose level or my input of the pill.... there isn’t a way for me to go to settings and click SYNC or BACKUP and I feel there should be a manual way to push a sync button or backup button so this does not happen again. I can’t say that I will be using this app anymore sadly..
  • Pretty good 4/5

    By Pilney
However, when I forget to immediately log my BG and have to scroll through the time and date, it takes a lot of time. It would seriously improve my opinion of the app if I could just type in that information.

Very easy to keep track of sugars. I love the little icon that cheers for me! I wish we could log our food and mess on the free app.
  • Crazy little monster ~ My P.E.S.T. 5/5

    By TFDrifterJJRX
I ve had that crazy little monster before and found it helps me track better. I think I m going to have a P.E.S.T. tracking me.
  • Love this App 5/5

    By Joppa56
Really helpful for me to record and see visually how my blood sugar levels are doing. Great for a beginner like me figuring this whole diabetes thing out.
  • MySugr App 5/5

    By MaxP53
Best app ever. One Touch Verio device Blue Tooth capability would be great.
  • Was awesome, now it’s awesomer 5/5

    By Thomasakehoe
I’ve loved the mySugr app since it’s introduction they’ve continuously worked to improve it and now with the team work with Accu-Chek bringing the reality of unlimited testing to us at a very fair rate I don’t think I could be happier unless I wasn’t diabetic. As a pumper being able to monitor blood glucose trends as often as I like is wonderful makes five tuning insulin rates even easier and more accurate over time. Keep up the great work.
  • The Best 5/5

    Love this App! Life Canger!!
  • Love the App 5/5

    By Cf mom
Love, love this app. Have always had trouble tracking blood sugars. Love that I check my blood sugar and within seconds it is posted on my app!! Has increased my awareness greatly!
  • Love it but.... 4/5

    By babytigger88
It would be nice if OneTouch was supported as well as Accu Chek. Other than this, it is a great app
  • Stopped updating apple health for some reason. 1/5

    By tkdcal
It quit exchanging data with apple health. That is the main reason I installed it.
  • Great program 4/5

    By Blueboogieblue Kalamazoo
This has been a great program to track my Gestational Diabetes. Great to have on hand to record everything from snacks to insulin doses. I wish one think was clearer. I paid for the subscription so I could print out my reports to send to my doctor to help w/ prescribing insulin doses, but the pale colors on the report don’t fax well and isn’t a clear to read package for them. More color contrast would help.
  • The Charts are complicated 4/5

    By Ashley McCord
The functionality is good, but I would prefer a simpler looking chart. By putting all the information on one screen, the developers have made the charts too difficult to read. I would like to see an interactive charting feature. Also, some really basic features are only available on the pro edition. Like reminders to check your sugar.
  • Luvin' it 5/5

    By DystoniaSucks
Went with the AccuChek Guide meter w/unlimited strips bundle deal for $40 a month. Received my meter today, had been poking around the app prior to receiving it though, and so far, I'm delighted with it - meter connected easily without any issues at all, so bonus. Lots of good features to help recognize patterns and log everything easily - access to well known CDEs is a great bonus for the paid version of the app. Can't beat the deal offered, it's really helpful for those uninsured or under insured with high co-pays or tight restrictions on allotted amount of strips. The app is a great tool to use to aid in management of type 1 or type 2 Diabetes, and could even potentially be useful for those with hypoglycemia to help spot patterns with foods and drops.
  • Phenomenal 5/5

    By DvDarkman
Fantastic tool for keeping track and motivating you to log. I can’t sing enough praises.
  • Excellent for newbies to logging blood glucose! 5/5

    By Dawifey
I’m pre-diabetic and my doctor told me to start logging my blood sugars. I wanted an app that would work with me while I am on the go and the color coded G/Y/R readings make it easier for me to understand. I love the features where you can enter text/pictures of what you eat as a reminder and where you’re at too.
  • Great app for me 5/5

    By DiscoNostalgia
After being diagnosed w T2D, I downloaded several diabetes apps at once to try then all out. This one won out handily. I input my BG readings in Apple Health and MySugr imports them. (I like having redundant systems.) I am currently managing my diabetes without meds, so frequent testing is key for me. I enter my carbs and activity values in the app so I can correlate them to my BG readings throughout the day. The insights and feedback I get from having a reliable and easy to interpret tracking app have been invaluable. It's helped me to get my A1c down and stay off meds so far. One feature that I don't understand why it doesn't have is the ability to create our own custom tags. I do use tags all the time, and it is quite easy to filter and search records by tag, but sometimes it would be nice to be able to add my own custom tags. It would also be nice to be able to customize the reports. Sometimes my doctor just wants to see my fasting glucose readings, but I can't make a report of just those. Also the reports include space for insulin/medication dosage, which is always blank for me, so that's not really helpful. But these are not major impediments for me using the app. As for the monster, I don't know, maybe the developers missed the mark with me. I like him too much! I kind of get sad when I get enough points and he winds up chained up. :) I think he's cute.
  • Love it! 5/5

    By GarylaneB
Very easy to use. Intuitive and smart. The only drawback is it will not allow permanent updates to your location.
  • Easy for parents, my son loves the monster! 5/5

    By lcfitmama
This app is so great for us to easily record what we need to! You can customize the fields to what you need, and I love the visual graph. My 5 year old loves the diabetes monster graphics. It makes this whole process a tiny bit easier on him, when he can watch the animated monster as we record his info.
  • Not Syncing Completely on iPhone 8 Plus 3/5

    By PBroRaulio
This app was working great until I upgraded my phone and iOS, now it is not syncing completely with the Apple Health app with the iPhone 8 Plus. It also takes a lot longer to sync. The syncing process is also a lot slower and there is missed data. Please fix.
  • Awesome app! Newly Type 1 and this is really helping me! 5/5

    By werfamilyigotjoeygregyandme
Awesome app! I hope you guys integrate this into the Apple Watch—- I’m 40 and have adult onset Type 1 Diabetes’s-, this app is making it a lot easier for me to keep track of my sugars- I like the monster- lol Would love a little more instruction if possible? Have been learning more from YouTube videos- Maybe you guys could do a YouTube video explaining your app so we can take full advantage of it? Thank you all for your hard work so that I don’t have to-(at least on keeping track of my blood sugars) :) Keep up the awesome work!! Thank you very much! G-

This is a awesome app, really enjoy the hearing the cheers when my numbers are good.
  • That giggle has got to go! 1/5

    By DWW_KYBD
I swear I’m going to stop using this app if I can’t figure out how to turn the stupid sound off.
  • It's just ok. 3/5

    By MellieLS
It records the data easily. You have to pay for things like reports which is ridiculous when you can use Glucose Buddy which provides reports for free.
  • Happy 5/5

    By Mythreegirls1
    Love this app.
  • Rude 1/5

    By snappysnackshack
This app makes me feel so ashamed of my diabetes. The “monster” makes weird comments and you get a weekly report with a score that says how you failed or succeeded against the monster. Awful app.
  • Great App for Tracking 5/5
