Love the App 5/5
By Cf mom
Love, love this app. Have always had trouble tracking blood sugars. Love that I check my blood sugar and within seconds it is posted on my app!! Has increased my awareness greatly!
Love it but.... 4/5
It would be nice if OneTouch was supported as well as Accu Chek. Other than this, it is a great app
Stopped updating apple health for some reason. 1/5
It quit exchanging data with apple health. That is the main reason I installed it.
Best diabetic log 5/5
So far so good. It’s easy to use. Only wished it could send me hourly alarms so I wouldn’t forget.
Great program 4/5
By Blueboogieblue Kalamazoo
This has been a great program to track my Gestational Diabetes. Great to have on hand to record everything from snacks to insulin doses. I wish one think was clearer. I paid for the subscription so I could print out my reports to send to my doctor to help w/ prescribing insulin doses, but the pale colors on the report don’t fax well and isn’t a clear to read package for them. More color contrast would help.
The Charts are complicated 4/5
By Ashley McCord
The functionality is good, but I would prefer a simpler looking chart. By putting all the information on one screen, the developers have made the charts too difficult to read. I would like to see an interactive charting feature.
Also, some really basic features are only available on the pro edition. Like reminders to check your sugar.
Luvin' it 5/5
Went with the AccuChek Guide meter w/unlimited strips bundle deal for $40 a month. Received my meter today, had been poking around the app prior to receiving it though, and so far, I'm delighted with it - meter connected easily without any issues at all, so bonus. Lots of good features to help recognize patterns and log everything easily - access to well known CDEs is a great bonus for the paid version of the app. Can't beat the deal offered, it's really helpful for those uninsured or under insured with high co-pays or tight restrictions on allotted amount of strips. The app is a great tool to use to aid in management of type 1 or type 2 Diabetes, and could even potentially be useful for those with hypoglycemia to help spot patterns with foods and drops.
Fantastic tool for keeping track and motivating you to log. I can’t sing enough praises.
Excellent for newbies to logging blood glucose! 5/5
I’m pre-diabetic and my doctor told me to start logging my blood sugars. I wanted an app that would work with me while I am on the go and the color coded G/Y/R readings make it easier for me to understand. I love the features where you can enter text/pictures of what you eat as a reminder and where you’re at too.
Great app for me 5/5
After being diagnosed w T2D, I downloaded several diabetes apps at once to try then all out. This one won out handily. I input my BG readings in Apple Health and MySugr imports them. (I like having redundant systems.) I am currently managing my diabetes without meds, so frequent testing is key for me. I enter my carbs and activity values in the app so I can correlate them to my BG readings throughout the day. The insights and feedback I get from having a reliable and easy to interpret tracking app have been invaluable. It's helped me to get my A1c down and stay off meds so far.
One feature that I don't understand why it doesn't have is the ability to create our own custom tags. I do use tags all the time, and it is quite easy to filter and search records by tag, but sometimes it would be nice to be able to add my own custom tags. It would also be nice to be able to customize the reports. Sometimes my doctor just wants to see my fasting glucose readings, but I can't make a report of just those. Also the reports include space for insulin/medication dosage, which is always blank for me, so that's not really helpful. But these are not major impediments for me using the app.
As for the monster, I don't know, maybe the developers missed the mark with me. I like him too much! I kind of get sad when I get enough points and he winds up chained up. :) I think he's cute.
Love it! 5/5
Very easy to use. Intuitive and smart. The only drawback is it will not allow permanent updates to your location.
Easy for parents, my son loves the monster! 5/5
This app is so great for us to easily record what we need to! You can customize the fields to what you need, and I love the visual graph. My 5 year old loves the diabetes monster graphics. It makes this whole process a tiny bit easier on him, when he can watch the animated monster as we record his info.
Not Syncing Completely on iPhone 8 Plus 3/5
This app was working great until I upgraded my phone and iOS, now it is not syncing completely with the Apple Health app with the iPhone 8 Plus. It also takes a lot longer to sync. The syncing process is also a lot slower and there is missed data. Please fix.
Awesome app! Newly Type 1 and this is really helping me! 5/5
Awesome app! I hope you guys integrate this into the Apple Watch—- I’m 40 and have adult onset Type 1 Diabetes’s-, this app is making it a lot easier for me to keep track of my sugars-
I like the monster- lol
Would love a little more instruction if possible? Have been learning more from YouTube videos-
Maybe you guys could do a YouTube video explaining your app so we can take full advantage of it? Thank you all for your hard work so that I don’t have to-(at least on keeping track of my blood sugars) :)
Keep up the awesome work!!
Thank you very much!
This is a awesome app, really enjoy the hearing the cheers when my numbers are good.
That giggle has got to go! 1/5
I swear I’m going to stop using this app if I can’t figure out how to turn the stupid sound off.
It's just ok. 3/5
It records the data easily. You have to pay for things like reports which is ridiculous when you can use Glucose Buddy which provides reports for free.
Love this app.
This app makes me feel so ashamed of my diabetes. The “monster” makes weird comments and you get a weekly report with a score that says how you failed or succeeded against the monster. Awful app.
Great App for Tracking 5/5
Great app 5/5
By Franklin d Russ
Five months in after my 10-year-old's diagnosis of T1D. MySugr is great. Docs at our clinic gave the reports a thumbs up and said they'd recommend it to their patients. Thank goodness for the technology that makes living with this disease just a little simpler!
Great for just measuring Glucose 3/5
Those with Type 1 diabetes and are children, this is a great tool! Highly suggest. I have tried them all and I am currently still using this one. Horrible tool to use for those of us with weight struggles. Although it gives you the ability to log your weight, you have zero documentation of your logs in the reports section. Still having to use another application to measure and track my weight loss.
Easy to use; needs a lot of work 3/5
This app is really easy to use, which is great because I really don’t have any desire to spend my time recording this data. The layout is relatively streamlined and the ability to customize the fields is nice. In a free app. Since I paid for the pro version, I expect some better features: 1) the ability to get rid of that infuriating monster. Stress raises blood sugar. Stop annoying me with that thing. 2) The developer team could really use some help from people skilled at data visualization. The visualizations aside from the color coded entries are useless. Add better graphs. 3) Add the ability to customize the tag tiles. And why the hell is menstruation on there? The app knows I’m male. Spend a little time having the app respond better to user data. 4) Get rid of the advertisement on the report in the paid version. And make it easier to get to the reports. 5) Take advantage of the fact that everyone with an iPhone expect visualizations to be better and more detailed when we rotate the phone. This app does nothing to take advantage of that capability.
Very User Friendly 5/5
I just recently downloaded this app along with another as I hated the updates my last diabetes log app recently made. This app has won out and stands heads and shoulders above the others. I have wanted to get my 8 year old more involved in tracking his levels and meals and this Diabetes Monster app (as likes to call it) is just perfect. The use of the sounds on the little monsters when you feed the app is his favorite part, but the entry guides for noting readings, meals, insulin units, etc is so easy for him to follow.
What’s best to me is the easy color coding which allows us to spot any hypo or hyper trends so easily. We simply love this app!
Great App but ... 4/5

This is a really good application for your phone. There are a few problems with it, however. But, for the price, it’s fantastic.
NO LANDSCAPE ORIENTATION For My iPad! 1/5
Downloaded it onto my iPad that is comfortably surrounded by its puffy HORIZONTAL pillow holder and launched it — it DID NOT REORIENT! Bad developer, shame shame. Seriously though, please fix ASAP!
My Sugar 5/5
Great app. This is quick to use and keeps me on top of things.
Love the Point System 5/5
The point system of reinforcement motivates me to take my glucose level when I don't feel like doing it. I also like the Estimated HbA1c feature. I wish the Pro version weren't so expensive.
Great App 5/5
By Haley awesome pants!!!!!!
I have been using this app for a short time but it is amazing so far.
Love the monster 5/5
Love the monster. Feel like it's cheering me on!
Helpful app 5/5
I've tried other apps to control my sugar, but this one is the best one by far.
Diabetic monitor 5/5
By Live life in purple
App is fun and informative and easy to use.
It has every thing you need in one place
Love this app 5/5
This app has been a big help in helping monitor my blood sugars. I can have everything I need to keep track of in one place. The little alien is so cute.
Great App, well designed 5/5
By Robin of Sherwood Forest
This is a wonderful for someone who does not have software to download their Bloodsugars from their pump/meter. Easy to use and the reports are very helpful. Keep up the good work and thank you!
GreT app 5/5
Nice and helpful
Great app 5/5
By Mr GR
I have type 2 diabetes and this app has made it easy to keep my sugars under control.
My Sugar 4/5
Very useful app for diabetics like me.
Good App 3/5
I was looking for a simple app for just tracking glucose levels and this was it. It takes awhile to get used to it but once I figured it out, it's easy. You just have to spend the time to log the info. Tip: if you don't have a BT monitor and have to log by hand, this app syncs with Health and if you have another device like a BP monitor, it's syncs and has the date already in there to record the BG. Just noticed recently that sometimes the app does not transfer over to Health. Check you data.
3 stars for no Apple Watch logging & no syncing with the MyFitnessPal/Under armor app. Just found out that it does not write all the data to Health. GPS integration is lacking.
5 if it's fixed.
Great logbook! 5/5
Easy to use phone app. Logbook portion keeps my blood glucose readings handy. Never w/o when various Dr's request information.
Going Pro 5/5
As a diabetic of over 8 years I really love this app. I was shocked and surprised when I saw all the functionality and options, like how it knew every glucose monitor and pump I've ever used. Most apps for diabetes management I'd seen before didn't know the difference between type 1 and 2, didn't even touch gestational, or were horribly outdated.
The weekly averages and the daily bolus and carb counts on the dashboard are helpful, they're the kind of things doctors ask for, and it's nice that they're right up front.
I especially love the challenges and the "diabetes monster". Earning points to "tame" him is really cute and motivational.
The only complaint I'd have is that the time graph in the logbook is really small and hard to read. Also, the highest readable measurements on most blood glucose monitors is usually like 600, and the graph in the app only shows up to around 250.
I love this app and will definitely be going pro in the next few days.
Real help for logging 5/5
Easy to enter sugar level, meals and insulin. Can't wait to show my doctor
Love this app!! 5/5
Love it!! 5/5
I only wish there was a spot to input my diabetic pills I take. Am I missing that?
Otherwise, great app!
Update: from 2 years ago till now the updates and improvements have been wonderful!! Keep up the great work!!
Sound effects keep me motivated 5/5
It's amazing how the sound effects from the monster Kees me motivated. I went out of range and the monster ate my points and made a sound I don't want to hear again. I strive for my points although I have no idea what they are applied to (started using the app last week).
Try it out for a few days 5/5
I did not find it intuitive initially, but got the hang of it after a couple of days. Now I prefer it over any other app. I wish their challenges were better developed. Other than that, I love it.
Pretty great app 5/5
Reports are super nice looking and my doctor appreciates the clear, concise graphs it generates. It's awesome to have all this data at a glance and very cool that it syncs across devices. Enjoy the beer, team.
Great simple app. Free features work flawlessly and I love Apple Health integration. Only wish it worked with MyFitnessPal/under armor apps too.
Good app 4/5
Easy to use and has really been helping me to track blood sugar and blood pressure especially.
Fun app 5/5
This app makes tracking my sugar fun. Also love the monster! Thanks for the coupon for the free Accu-Chek Guide monitoring system!! Love it imports my test result to your app on my phone!!
You people make dealing with my diabetes so much easier!! Thank you!!
Very good app to allow me to track my blood glucose levels
