Don't update 1/5
Used for years and loved this weather app. Since recent update it terrible.
Done. See the radar. 5/5
It's easy and fast. No bs forecasts and baloney, just reality
Great app 5/5
The app works great.
Don't like tear drop icon's 4/5
By Santa Fe 440
I've really enjoyed this app for years, but after this last update the icons for where you can mark certain locations that you want to keep track of now is a tear drop of sorts. I liked the pin markers before this last major update. Can we not choose what kind of marker that we like instead of just one kind? Also I'm not a fan of the "current location" weather marker, it clutters up the screen
Is a large help during flash flood warnings and bad weather

It's not easy to use. Not easy to adjust to a different city.

Don't update 1/5
Deleting app, update made the app worthless
Slow to load, when it loads, it loads the previous days weather before real time , then it is littered with pop up ads .. Wunderground is reliable 100% of the time
Paid App....pop up ad city...!!!!😡 1/5
By Newman 011
How the heck did a paid app become one filled with pop up ads every time one opens it???? Answer
They want you to UPGRADE TO PREMIUM
Complete waste-Don't get this app 1/5
Currently, it's raining where I'm at and the app says there's no rain in the forecast. Not once has this app been accurate. Deleting
Used to be the best radar app 1/5
Not anymore. The update took a great app and absolutely ruined it. Time to look for another app. This one is now useless
Obnoxious Ads 1/5
Stop pestering me to rate the app before I even get to use it. I'll rate it, alright!
I understand completely that ads support free apps. I get it. That being said, the number of pop up ads are beyond annoying. I had to acknowledge through FOUR pop ups just to have the app home in on my location. Then I got hit with another pop up ad. Minimize the app and come back, two more pop up ads.
Are you serious?
Like seeing the radar and the different colors to see where the storm is heading and the severity!
Love this app!! 5/5

The best service ever !!! Thank you for help us to keep informed

I wish I could make the radar loop longer than 30 min
Awful app since update. 1/5
Wish I didn't update. It was great and now I hate the app. Will probably delete it. It just takes up wasted space now.
The previous free version allowed the user to add storm tracks and lightening strike data to the radar map - but no more. These features (and others that were previously included for free) are now available or a subscription $0.99/month. And the ads are really obnoxious. NOAA data if free - US citizens pay for everything NOAA in outer taxes and I'll be looking for another App post haste.

Very disappointed in the update.
Update removed features 1/5
To degrade the app -- under the guise of an update-- is definitely misleading, and it may violate consumer protection laws.
Keeping a charter safe 5/5

Y'all gave us a storm warning as we were fishing in a salt marsh at low tide. We made it safely home and warned others of the oncoming storm just north of big bay creek.
Extremely inaccurate 1/5
By It's Gehrke
This app is just wrong. It never tells me accurate weather readings. It's just dumb.
Great Service 5/5
Great service for our needed rural area weather information needs.
Don't Update 1/5
I purchased the HiDef Weather app a few years ago and have always been very happy the information and performance of it. I just updated the app and was extremely disappointed to find that the app has become a subscription service. Many of the original features that I had already paid for are not available to me since the update. If you are not going to "grandfather" or refund the customers that ironically purchased the app, please offer the older version so we can roll back our apps. Otherwise, I have no interest in this app and I will be deleting it from my phone.
The App is fair, an update could be awesome 3/5
The High Def radar app by WeatherSphere was far better, but their July 17 update ruined it.
If this app added the features that WeatherSphere used to have, it would immediately become the best radar app.
Hey tech support, here's your golden chance to slay your completion. DO an upgrade. Take advantage of the stupidity of WeatherSphere! Strike now!
Update Mess 😡 2/5
I already paid for this....now you want a subscription?? Where is all my saved spots?? Oh that's right I now have to subscribe to mark locations.....really thinking about deleting this app I am so mad!
Am deleting this app because it's the most obnoxious app that's ever been on ant of my my device...ever. They must be so hard up for money, that they pester their users until they upgrade, which is the tactic of the ads of course, or delete it; which is in this case of me. Why do they believe that bullying will get revenue? Further, it really doesn't give their users any more info, watches, warnings, etc, than Weather Channel or Weather bug.so there you have it. Use at your own risk of being harassed to death or of getting taken advantage of by paying for this app.
Apps were so annoying I had to delete it.. Not to mention the slow everything of the app haha.
NOAA radar review 2/5
Trying to evaluate the app but every few moments spam pops up!!
Pretty Good...! 4/5

Not the best,
But not far from it.
Junk Adware 1/5
NOT THE US NOAA
This app is junk
You don't have to lie to kick it! 3/5
The app has been saying it will be 80+ for over a week now. Every day it pushes that back. What's the point of checking if it changes all the time? Every day the app says something different. Don't plan your week off this app. It's more of a novelty!
Quick Radar 5/5
By Simply Nature
My to go app for radar.
Decent, but pop ups prevent data loads 4/5
It is a pretty decent app, intuitive and easy to use. But it's only four stars because it seems like you get mor pop ups than weather info. Have a tornado warning? They'll let you know after you have to click through a pop up ad and two subsequent screens about various other apps. Also, the pop ups prevent the app data from updating. So it will still read data and radar from three hours ago, unless I force quit the app. With this many pop ups, I just don't want to pay them monthly subscription fees. They probably make much more off the constant ads.
Good job 5/5
Love it. Seen bad cloud coming d loaded the ap... and nope its goin around us. Good job i recamend
The radar part isn't that great but the other part is okay
Great app on my iPad! 5/5
I love being able to see the weather forecasts for anywhere in the country! There is nothing better than this app!! I can leave my home prepared for what awaits me.
Not sure what would entice me to pay for premium version! The free version is less than useless! I don't need an inaccurate version of what happened earlier today, I need to know what is coming. And it needs to be accurate! What crap! Local weather is issuing warnings and this app shows the storm has passed. That's helpful. >.< According to this app, I should be heading out to grill dinner, unfortunately, there is a HUGE severe thunderstorm over me and according to the radar on this app, it moved well north of us 20 minutes ago!
Bring back intellicast! 3/5
Not very user friendly on an IPhone imho. Would be nice to have some other data like the wind direction overlay arrows that move with the current. Would be nice if the icons were more strait forward and easy to decipher .
Buggy App 1/5
Something about this app makes my phone shut down as if the battery ran out. Each time it happened (4 times so far), I was able to plug the phone immediately to recharge it, and the battery was just above 30% charge. This has never happened with any other app I have ever used.
Between this and all the stupid game ads, I'm finally deleting it for good.
Accurate but a bit difficult to use. 5/5
By Mario chon
I like the accuracy of the information. It is a bit difficult to manage from an older phone.
Wow so many ads 1/5
I just want to see the weather

Would like to be able to see weather maps through the app!
Great detailed weather app!
A Very Handy App that can Replace a Weather Radio 5/5
I've shut my obnoxious weather radio that gives me alerts for everything from fog to Tornadoes and Hurricanes where I live near the Ocean in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US East Coast.
I don't need high tide alerts and all of the other data that NOAA tracks and sends out alerts as if there's a forest fire next to my house. I've jumped out of my skin more times than I can recall during the middle of the night when inclement weather hits -- due to the inability to filter warnings on that device.
Perhaps if I lived in a high-risk region of the country where weather radios are virtual life-savers I'd not be so adverse to the sheer number of warnings it broadcasts.
During Hurricane warnings, I'll turn the weather radio on. Other than that, I'm using my NOAA apps on my phone for regular warnings that I can better manage through the settings -- right down to allowing it to follow me when I travel and alert me to severe weather in my immediate area. I appreciate knowing when there is reason for concern, having grown up in the Mid-West where Tornadoes and severe snow storms were fairly routine.
I'm not one to rate apps very often. I took the time to chime-in about this one because I feel that it's a must-have tool for safety and for planning travel. Anyone who likes to pull up the radar to actually see where the storms are located and where they are headed, as well as their severity, will appreciate this app.
It's super easy to select and personalize settings and user interface on this app. Get is and be safe!
By The Martee
Advertising in the middle of a severe weather warning. Wrong place and wrong time.
I thought this was a government agency.
Great App, but the ads are MISERABLE. 1/5
The app itself is easy to use, pretty reliable, etc. but yes the ads are THAT annoying.
