This app won't let me cancel subscription before the trial ends 1/5
This app is not worth the money it is not a free trial because they force you to pay for the whole year ($30) and you cannot cancel your subscription.
Worst experience I've had with an app, I got this to protect my phone and my phone bugs out every time I'm connected to wifi and use this app. Will also shut down my other apps randomly so I stopped using it and tried to cancel it and today (a month later) still get charged for the subscription. Do not get this app
Working so far 4/5
I downloaded this today for my iPhone and iPad. So far it's working fine, no issues. Very easy to use.
Should rate it 0 stars since it doesn't work but that's not an option. 1/5
By Curtis, Alisa, and Corbin
Not much more to say. Doesn't work.
It does what it's supposed to do 4/5
pretty straight forward and reasonably priced VPN service. not much there is to it really.
This is BS 1/5
It forces you to agree to automatic renewal with no way to back out once you agree to the free trial.
Well what's the point? 1/5
By Timy Hippo
Looks nice and all, but the app won't even let me turn the VPN on, kinda eliminates the purpose of the app...
Works exactly as expected 5/5
By Uncle Godfather
Exactly what I expected when I made the purchase
Unbelievably poor app and support 1/5
The latest 14 Feb 17 update has made the app completely unusable. Completely unsatisfactory for this to happen in 2017. Pull the app, Apple.
Don't update....credit? 1/5
Since the account required update the app will not work. I hope that users will be credited for the down time since the update was posted. Seriously this is a lot of downtime for an expensive purchase.
By Oh Countryaire
Norton had a great wifi security app
Some dummy decided an update was needed & did it without testing operation
App is no longer working & norton support is clueless
I have deleted this app
SCAM - TERRIBLE APP - ZERO Stars 1/5
This app took my $30 after the free trial and now it doesn't work. I've created an account like it instructed me to do and it doesn't work. DONT WASTE MONEY. COMPLETE SCAM.
Wasted Time 1/5
As with others, it stopped working after an update. Tried reinstalling and still does not work. Wasted time and wasted money.
Paid yearly subscription. After most recent update it won't work. Fraud. Do NOT purchase anything from this company!!!!! They take your money and give you no service. Customer support is a myth.
Poor updates 1/5
By Don't buy subscription
This app used to work decent with my overseas connection to vpn back in the states to watch Amazon prime video. Now the app won't let me past the login screen, this is the third time they have updated this to "fix the bug" but it has yet to work.
Very unhappy. 1/5
By Ticked Off24
After using this app for 3 months it just quit working. Norton has told me twice to wait 24 hours. How do I get a refund from Apple?
Private Home User 1/5
** scammed out of $27. This is not a real app **
Does what I need it to do 4/5
I want ("need", really) to encrypt my internet connection when I use a public WiFi network. This does that nicely. Changing my apparent country is an interesting feature, though I've yet to have a need for it. Perhaps that's for a more sophisticated user.
Poor performance 1/5
App does not transition between LTE and Wifi. Slows the phone down. After a few months of use stopped working and can not get help from either Apple or Norton to resolve the issue. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Battery killer 1/5
My iPhone couldn't run more than a few hours with this VPN turned on.
Update Requiring Email & PW Ruined App 1/5
I am unable to use the app after the update requiring email and password.
App is junk since the last update 1/5
By Scuba Skywalker
I used the app for a month with no issues. An update was pushed out last night that requires a Norton account to be created. I created the account and the app will not log me in. I uninstalled, reinstalled, called Norton support and it still is not working. Luckily, Apple is given me a refund. I suggest you look for a better option like StrongVPN. It cost more, but you get what you pay for.
Bad Marketing Strategy 2/5
By Eternal Babybear
The once-prominent antivirus software Norton today uses fake Notification Center messages as a way of attracting users. What a disgrace!
Update Caused App to no longer work 1/5
Have tried signing in and app will not work. Not happy
Updated Norton VPN soft doesn't work 1/5
By Werner chute
I updated this app but it doesn't allow me to open my account. Therefore, I am not getting the service that I paid for. I tried the recommended online methods for two factor identification to no avail. Highly disappointed!!!!

Too many popups trying to scam people when watching the kinky stuff

This is a scam
Keeps saying server error 1/5
This app is totally broken when I log in it says server error and when I hit the free trial it does nothing but spins.
I got a message saying I have 6 viruses on my phone and I needed to delete them right away....so this norton app you see before your eyes was the solution. But I wanted to read the reviews and do more research before I payed 30 dollars for this. This app is a scam. Do not download it your phone is fine. How dare this app do what they did to get your money.
Glad I read the reviews to avoid charges!! 1/5
I was looking to unsubscribe to this and had no luck until I read another review...in which unsubscribe was detailed within it, so thank you to that reviewer!
Thank you 1/5
I revived multiple pop up windows in safari telling me my phone had multiple viruses and if I did not download my phone would get the viruses. After reading the reviews I know now this is a scam. Thank you so much.
Scare tactic sales. Rude! 1/5
The virus warning popped up on my phone while I was following a recipe on a website. I couldn't get back to my website for cooking and I thought ALL of my information was under immanent threat of being stolen. I got the app. I finished making dinner and then read the reviews because I had no idea what I had just purchased! The fact that it goes through the App Store and that it is Norton Symantec makes it seem legit. It is really crappy that they use this tactic to sell something!! Thanks, everyone for the reviews AND instructions on how to cancel the service!
Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! 1/5
Don't waste your time or money on this! Run as fast as you can!
By Sleeping soon
This was required to use wifi at an airport. I downloaded, deleted, and forgot about it until I got my $30 bill. Boo, Norton! Here's how to unsubscribe: go to settings>iTunes and App Store>click on your Apple ID>click on Subscriptions. Better yet, don't download in the first place.
How do I prevent this pop-up ad from my iPhone every time I surf the web?
not to be charged 1/5
After detecting Virus alert, it was installed. However, want to delete it and be make sure not to be charged($29).
What should I do before I deleting this app?
I want to thank everyone who posted about this scam. I too received several pop ups last night saying I had 6 viruses and today a security warning. So I did what everyone else did and bought the app. I just cancelled it and will watch my credit card
I just use those for porn
Got a pop-up say I will have an infected iPhone wth virus in 5 minutes unless I download this scam of an app. BS!! My iPhone is fine and I do not have a virus, trust me. Do not waste your money (even though it is free, to be able to do anything there is a $30 mandatory subscription) on this piece of crap app. Should not even be able to be on the App Store.
This app is trash 1/5
Use Hotspot Shield
Seems shady 1/5
I got a pop-up saying my phone had gotten a virus & directing me to purchase this app. I did & then called Apple who said I did not need it & so I cancelled the purchase.
Is it just an ad? 1/5
Whatever this app says... it isn't true! This app popped up on my screen and I was scared. But I looked at the reviews and this is just baloney. Protect yourselves from this scam.
No Server 2/5
Only working about half the time. Can not find the server. When it works it works fine
Fraudulent Advertising 1/5
Myself and friends have received pop up windows in safari while surfing the web that claims our iPhones to have been infected by multiple viruses. Upon selecting and opening the pop up it takes you to this app. After downloading and opening the app it asks you to subscribe to the subscription and then claims your iPhone to be fixed, but there was never a single virus on our iPhones to begin with.... do not download and subscribe if you receive the pop up window! It is a SCAM!!
DNS Leak 1/5
The app leaks your DNS and your location when it connects. please fix this, I'm really disappointed of norton, I've been using norton products for 10 years in Mac and PCs,this app is a total rip off.
Need lots of fixes, where the developers are?
Using the paid version.
By Claire p.r
