Phenomenal tool, real people, well designed, the real deal! Met many interesting people using OKCupid. Met more real people here than any on any other site!

OUT of LIKES? & NO WHO VIEWED ME? 1/5
I was liking a bunch of people and got a notification that I ran out of likes for and to buy the "A" list. You guys are being very limited now Changing a lot of things especially the "who vowed your profile feature. This app Used to be great but now I feel lost without The "Who viewed you" that was a awesome feature . You get notified when someone views your profile and no unlimited likes you got to pay for that. 🤷🏾♂️

OkCupid app review 3/5
Overall the app is good. Certain things are simple and easy to navigate. Answering questions is pretty cool to get an understanding of people that you want to look for although I imagine people tend to lie on some of the questions. And some answers don't resemble what my response actually is. Which is why you have a comment section. My only true gripe is that it doesn't give you an option to search for a specific type of person or search for a name.
Terrible since update 2/5
By Dee rockin
This app used to be great. I made lots of friends using it and generally had a lot of fun meeting people.
But since the update the app is full of bugs. Messages dont deliver in a timely fashion if they deliver at all. "Likes" appear and disappear seemingly at random. The site is filled with autobots.
This used to be my go-to for meeting people since i am not an extrovert but since the last update it is really more of a hassle than anything else.
Not worth it 1/5
Too many ads every third swipe matches too far away and outside of your preferences. Deleting this app.

These latest ‘improvements’ need reversed. Visitor feature, etc. You have to ‘like’ someone before messaging them? 🙄
Location WAY off 1/5
Why am I getting a ton of swipes from 6500 miles away??
I can't find a way to change that in the settings.
I like to call it... OkStupid 5/5
Well it’s a good app. Mind you... for women you’ll get a million messages a day. For guys if you’re good looking and not an idiot you’ll be able to talk to like minded people. Just don’t be thirsty or retarded. Because you know. You make it hard us guys who have real lives! 🖕🏻🤗
I find that okcupid is favorable to the endless, shallow, swiping of other apps. I like the more in-depth profiles and the matching questionnaire. Overall, I’ve met more real people and gone on more interesting dates through this app then others.
Never let me down yet 5/5
Great app. Get it.
Great app 4/5
Cupid helped me meet my husband who turned out to be a demon. But I can say, Cupid did warn me by letting me know we were like a 60-something percent match. I should’ve took heed.
But I’m not giving up. I’ve returned & still enjoy the app as I did years ago.
Cons: I’ve been having issues with getting message notifications, but for some reason they started working today. So, if it stays this way, then this site is rocks.
Also, when I originally joined, if you had a lot of likes, they let you know that you were “hot” and would get better looking matches. I WISH that was still in effect with the toads I’m seeing. 😳
I also wish there was a filter for the type of guy I’m looking for. I keep swiping left on a lot of guys, just to get a similar one.
But overall, a fun app. I enjoy it.
Who’s looking.., 3/5
I like others, miss the feature that lets me know who looked at my profile. I think people had the option of going incognito Or browse invisibly if they wanted to. Also, it’s disturbing how many likes I get from women who are obviously trolling for one reason or another. I mean really, a 21-year-old from Jakarta? Or a 24 playboy model looking woman from 1800 miles away are you liking me? I’m pretty confident in myself, but come on.
Site is fine, app is bad 1/5
If you're going to make half your interface a like button and make likes crucial to how the app functions, you really need some way to reverse accidental likes. Pass is not the same, since it supposedly functions like hiding someone. There might actually be someone out there that wants to reserve judgment! This is really poor design!
Nov 22: Still not fixed! App will randomly like profiles for no apparent reason. There really should just be one "like" button. The touch interface is garbage.
I think people should be required to answer at lease 100 questions

A Real Bummer of an App 1/5
Compared to the other dating apps I’ve used, this is by far the worst. At first I was very optimistic, since it offers such specific questions. But the fact that you don’t have to match before messaging means that I get buried under piles of messages from guys who I’m not compatible with on any level, who then continue to pester me if I don’t respond. I also get a decent number of hookup requests, which I explicitly state in my profile that I’m not interested in—clearly, no one is actually reading what’s there. I’ve blocked more people than I’ve messaged. The whole experience is a real bummer... I wish I uninstalled it long before I did. Quantity of people doesn’t equal quality—I’ll stick to apps that give me more control.

Pretty good bang for the buck 4/5
By 98lbs Down
My only experience with this app has been using the free version, but I have to say that it works pretty well for something I’m not paying for. It’s fairly user friendly and it is pretty easy to find the kinds of people you’re looking for. Definitely worth a try.
Best Dating app EVER! 5/5

I have used many dating apps from the App Store and this app is by far the best one on the market. Thanks for creating such a great app!

I like the site I think and believe you should have more access, not at a hidden fee, in order to really get to know a person, but that is my opinion!!!
But for the most part I enjoy browsing and chatting!

Charge me but don’t show likes 1/5
So I get a notification that I have likes. I click to see who liked me and tells me I have to pay $19.99 to get A List and see the likes. So I pay the money, I go back to the app and it tells me I have to buy A List again. Then I am told to go into my preferences and “restore my purchases”...Surprise surprise that doesn’t work either. Total rip off and I want my money back.

EDIT: They were able to help me out and I was able to get my account up and running. Other than a few nit picky things, I think this is a pretty decent app.
I decided to buy an A-List subscription a few days ago but my app won't recognize the purchase. I've already lost 3 days of the subscription and no solution in sight. Other than that, this app has been generally a positive experience for me.

Another app that used to be good and now is crap 1/5
By Lonely Creature
So first you get rid of people who view other profiles (which makes getting the premium upgrade a lot less effective), and then you remove the option to message people freely unless you like them. You guys are like tinder now. What's next, removing bios? Well I'm officially downgrading back to a regular member. Not paying a dime for this trash app now...
Horrible updates 1/5
I used to use this app before they made all the changes to it. Now, this app is horrible and just like the rest. The reason I downloaded it again was because it was different, which clearly isn't the case anymore. Also, I keep accidentally liking people's photos which is SUPER FRUSTRATING. Worst updates ever.
DO NOT sign up 1/5
OKC REALLY is okstupid. I have been with them as a paying and non paying member for a total of 9 years on and off. On November 15, 2017, I realized something was wrong. I opened the app in the morning on my phone and it says “no internet connection” which I clearly did. I shrugged it off thinking that it’s probably a glitch and waited it out. Night time rolls around and I decided to check what’s going on. Still the SAME message. I decided to go on my laptop and check there. Since it’s saved, it should automatically pop up. Instead, I was surprised to see that I got completely SIGNED OUT. What in the world?! I was surprised and confused as to why. I decided to just give it a try by re-entering my username and password and I got an ERROR message of “Something went wrong, please contact us if this persists”. Seriously?! At this point, I’m beyond confused. So I decided to send the so called customer service an email. I let them know what was going on and politely asked asked as to why my account was acting the way it was. I also asked if it might be just an “outage”. I get an email back next day with a link to reset my password. Uh dude, I don’t have a problem with my password. At this point, I am frustrated and decide to send them an email back. I get NOTHING. It’s already been 3 days and they have been ignoring me. If I was banned for some reason, you would think they would let me know instead of giving some poor excuse of changing your password (which by the way didn’t work since it looks like they blocked my IP address). Even tried making a new account and it gives an error message saying they couldn’t verify a LEGIT zip code. I haven’t done anything wrong for this to happen. All I’m saying is that just because you’ve been with something for so many years, doesn’t mean they won’t screw you over in the end. They need to fire whoever does this. Like I said, I haven’t done anything wrong and I have proof. Last thing, I want to tell the developer to not respond to this review. A lot of people are already very unhappy with you guys and it won’t get any better. Other dating platform that isn’t associated with OKStupid is far more superior and with better people.
UPDATE: found out I got banned. Apparently I violated. How in the world did I do that when I don’t even send people messages? I only have 3 appropriate face pictures of MYSELF. The moderator is pretty clueless in detecting what’s real and what isn’t. I’d fire them. And even if you did get the right people, I still wouldn’t ever join again. I DO NOT support OKStupid any longer.
Don’t like the swiping 2/5
I used OKC a while ago and recently came back. I do not like the swiping. I preferred the old version where you could see a little more about a person and why they might be a match. I hate that every feature now prompts you to get a paid subscription.
With the recent changes made, this app and associated site is now absolutely useless!
Been here a while... 5/5
By Average Jakim
A long time user of OKC over the years. I've both befriended and dated quite a few wonderful people.
The quality of OKC lies in it's access ability and it's refusal to become complicated. It's sticks to it's roots, and that's what keeps me coming back.
OKC really works 5/5
By Love Diver
If OKC created algorithms to reject fake user accounts that use the same sentence patterns, fake pictures and ip addresses, they could save guys like me from getting 90% fake profile messages, and then it would be a perfect, world class intro (free) dating site. But with all the scammers hitting me, I’m not motivated to pay for the advanced services. As it is it’s the best site already. You just have to really learn who the fake profiles are, and then you see those scammers all use the same sentence structures and single ‘model’ pics. Even with that, OKC really works if you want to put the effort in!
Too expensive. 3/5

Notification issue. 1/5
Lately since the last 2 updates there is no more push notifications working.
No sound or push notification when receiving a new message.
This is happening on both my iPad and iPhone, so it’s definitely an update issue.
If someone sent a text while the app is closed, I only see “a number 1” on the app but no push mitigation.
And it’s enabled in my settings.
The LIKE to chat is meh.. not that amazing feature.
Using the APP on 2 devices when I click on “browse nearby” it shows different people on each.
So something is wrong with the location accuracy or nearby feature.
That’s why am giving it 1 star.
Instead of constantly swiping through the same people, have it where you hit the end of everyone you've swiped. Option to look through them again or not so you only see new people.
No so content 3/5
