Great demos but annoying to log in every time!!! 3/5
I really like this recipe app with demos from top chefs, which also includes some video classes of a variety of cuisines. However it is very annoying, and I mean very annoying, to have to login every time. I do not remember my password for every app. I thought the whole point of this app was to log in one time, and one time only. I do not have to login for other subscription apps. So why can't Panna fix this problem?
Love Panna 5/5
I was a little hesitant to buy this app at first...it's so easy to get any recipe on line ... However, after purchasing it, and using it, I am very glad I did buy it.. I had a concern when I first downloaded it , wrote to panna, they were quick to respond... love love love this app and this company
Beautiful, Inspiring and Doable 5/5
By El B Meyer
I'm always looking for new recipes and new ways to use ingredients, and this app is full of fresh ideas! I just love the seasonal stuff. And it's not the same old recipes you see everywhere else. Plus, the videos are beautifully shot and make it really easy to understand. I'm so excited to have a new resource in my kitchen!
Love this app! 4/5
I love this app. I am a very experienced cook, but I've learned great recipes & techniques from this app. I'd give it 5 stars but for the horrible technical problems I've had with the app. Right now I can't bring up main dishes & the snacks I can bring up when I go for the recipes I get pork dripping in berries & tequila?? Great app wish it worked better.
The best app for home chefs 5/5
I am an experienced cook and I love this app. It is user friendly and easy to search. Everything I have made so far is great.

Tried the Wedding Chicken yesterday & my family gave it the thumbs up!! They don't usually like me to experiment but this time they were glad. Now they're looking forward to the next one.
Directions were clear & concise.
Great resource! 5/5
By Cookin' ATL
I loved the early days of cooking shows on TV and learned valuable skills. But really, for the last several years one has to pick and choose from more and more scarce quality options on food television. Here is another option. This app is great! A cross between well produced video (with highly regarded chefs) and a cookbook. It's entertaining and usable.
Little Annoyances 2/5
Every time they update the app, I have to login again. I wish they would add 1Password support so I don't have to keep looking up my credentials. None of the links in emails I receive ever work. I get an email about an interesting recipe, click on it, and it opens the app but never lands on the recipe page in the email. It seems I always have to log in, and after logging in, it has forgotten the link I clicked on so I have to search manually. Same for cooking courses. The email/app interfaces do not work so the emails are useless. Once I get into the app and find a recipe I like, it's fairly easy to navigate and save recipes. But on at least one app update, all of the recipes I favorited in my account disappeared. So I had to look through ALL of the recipes again to re-save them. And lastly, some of the features don't work on my iPad. For example, scrolling to the bottom of the main page there are links to breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, etc. Not all of them work. Clicking on some do nothing. On my iPhone, they all work and take you to recipes grouped by relevant topics. Overall, the experience is just okay but needs a lot of work to iron out the bugs. I don't look forward to the next time my saved recipes disappear again.
cancellation was botched, recipes aren't helpful 3/5
I cancelled through Itunes,
but an "error" showed up for days. Panna told me they can't handle cancellations on their end, and to call Itunes. I called itunes customer service and spent a whopping 51 minutes on the phone, mostly on t hold, to cancel.
The recipes themselves had a weirs dichotomy between complicated and overly simple. I couldn't find a a recipe to reference while make simple things, like gnocchi with brown butter and sage or a nice white wine steamed mussels. I dod oddly find a recipe for "chicken and rice" with just white rice, boiled chicken, onions, salt and pepper. I also found lots of "project" recipes, which were great, and required some planning and a separate trip to a store to find specific ingredients. This was helpful when I wanted to make a Cambodian soup, which was delicious. However, overall this is 't a good app to use to look at what you have in the home and whip something together after looking for ideas.
Subscription did not cancel 1/5
I canceled my subscription just a few days into using the app because I did not like it. 3 weeks later, I was charged for the subscription - and don't even have access to the app! Waiting on a response to get a refund and also put in a complaint to PayPal. This is fraudulent
Great content horrible updates. 3/5
I love the videos, recipes, and how the chef instructors teach. This is literally what the Food Network used to be. The problem I am having is that I get emails and notices and the app never takes me to the content I am wanting or the articles that are mentioned. Please fix this. I am a paying customer.
I love it! But... 3/5
... it would be better if it had a free version rather than just a trial.
Vegetarian and vegan section was trash
Panna No way 1/5
Sorry same as others. Pay for yearly with all foodnetwork videos available YouTube etc. Come on give me a break. Even Angie's List is free now.
Great app 4/5
By Brenda 2012
I gave it four stars only because I'd like to see more of a selection on recipies.
I don't like it 1/5
I don't like it because you have to pay money worst cooking app ever
I love this app. I have learned a lot and been able to make really great food that really impresses!
The cookbook of the future. 5/5
I love this app for so many reasons. I have learned so much without going to culinary school they take the time to show you the simple ways of keeping your kitchen clean and being organized. How to prep and the recipes are great.
It's a great place to learn all about the chefs and plan trips to personal eat their food.
I love the fact that they have cookbooks to buy. I love to read cookbooks like they are novels. I highly recommend this app if you love to cook.
So ridiculous 1/5
I downloaded this app and within 40 seconds deleted it. You have to pay to use it...LOL .. have you ever heard of the Tasty App? Way better.
This app just needs to get over itself :/
Fantastic app 5/5
Really fills in the perfect cooking need. A portable cooking show plus great personalities like Paul Kahan. Can't recommend it enough, even if you just like good food. Cooking isn't hard!!!
Way to confusing and too many strange ingredients. Don't like!
This app is a waste of money. 1/5
By Photography star
Okay so I downloaded the app thinking it would be free as it says free, there was a login button or a try free trial so I hit free trial you have to pay $40 just for a free trial. What!? Don't get suckered into this app it will be a waste of money for recipes! Take my word and don't download this app!
Keep dunning for money 2/5
I purchased the app, but am constantly asked to join the free trial. After considerable looking around found that I needed to refresh. Like the contents, but I like to use an app after I purchase the rights to do so. Almost not worth the trouble.
Great app with exciting Chefs and recipes
great app! 4/5
love the classes and recipes!
Cool app 5/5

I like this app. It allows me to be creative and get out of the rut of cooking the same thing over and over.
A "gotcha " app 1/5
By Gem stringer
They make it d***near impossible to cancel a subscription counting on you having to pay for a useless, over priced app.
Love the app!!! Fantastic and delicious recipes.
Way overpirced 1/5
I like the idea but when I try to proceed it tells me that I will be charged after trial month $39.99/yr. This is nonsense. It brought me to feeling that app developers are not confident in their business that they need to rip you off as early as possible. Otherwise they would have set up monthly recurring payments. Plus all these recipes you can download or watch online for free. App for naive people))
Great app! Great recipes! 5/5
I've made 2 recipes so far and they were fantastic! Can't wait to try more!
Worlds greatest app 5/5
Fantastic app cook with it constantly! The videos are phenomenal!!
Great app! 5/5
Can't go wrong when cooking up your favorite dish. This app takes you step by step through the process, allowing you to pause or review previous steps. I love it!
best app ever 5/5
I ordered this app by mistake, I only wanted a trial but said oh well I'll give it a try. I am sure glad I did. I have made the blueberry tart, the coffee rub steak, the aglio e olio, the gravlaxpotatoe gratin. and the 3 cheese and macaroni. Everyone came out perfect. I will most
certainly keep this app. Love the video the most.

Awesome app. The videos are the key for quickly improving your cooking skills and showing you just how to do it.
Great app, need more recipes 5/5
Michael Anthony alone is worth the price of admission, but there's not enough recipes from he or anybody else yet. I think there's about 300, which is a good start, But I hope they're going to continue to add them regularly. The app itself is very well done and the videos are great!
Excellent service that stands above the rest 5/5
With so many cooking apps available on the App Store, it is very easy to get overwhelmed and not know what the good ones are. Panna is distinguished by its quality chefs and step-by-step video instructions that make it easy even for an amateur like myself to follow.
I am a premium subscriber and am now taking advantage of their new classes. Definitely worth it! Really nice to have it on the Apple TV as well as iOS devices.
Home Cook 5/5
The best app ever!!! after downloading New York Times Cooking app I was enjoying so much the good quality and smartness of the explanations and videos, but somehow something was missing, I always wished for more videos and more direct contact with the chefs. Now is solved! I feel again like going to cooking school, in front of the experienced chefs. I hope they keep including more and more of these wonderful recipes!!! Recommend it to anybody! Love it, Live it, Cook it! ‚̧ԳŹ
I give this app 5 stars 5/5
I really love this app because of the videos on how to cook! I've learned a lot about cook!
I have not gotten through my trial period yet but I am impressed with this app. As I get older I find I enjoy cooking. I want to try more recipes from not only my culture but others as well so looking for to interacting with this App on a daily basis.
Hate the App Malfunctions 3/5
Love the concept of the app. I paid for the annual subscription but the app constantly fails. It makes me log into it all the time and hangs up a lot. I shouldn't have to log in all the app every time but it fails so often that it's not worth the money. Fix your major bugs and it might be worth using, if it worked regularly.
Who knew? 5/5
By Irritating App Alert
Who knew you could poach scrambled eggs? Or make them into a pretty custard. I tried this several times - the chefs demonstrating really are insightful about food quality and technique. I love Panna so much, I will continue on past the trial.
Panna: Great Videos & Now, Great Classes, Too! 5/5
By Chef citron
I've been a Panna member since they began a few years ago! The cooking, baking, and cocktail videos and lessons are all professional quality video from top chefs that render delicious results. And now in 2017, Panna online added classes! I enrolled in the "Bien Cuit" bread class, and it is phenomenal! It's a great companion to the Bien Cuit book, especially if you're new to bread baking, and, of course, Panna has the class recipes online as well. Looking foreword to watching more classes. Bravo, Panna!
Well doesn't work on Apple TV 2/5
I called apple. I have a subscription through apple. The Apple TV won't allow me to go through. All my other devices work. Apple said all is good on their end, after being on the phone fore an hour. Kinda irked! Paid $40 for the app, and stated it worked on Apple TV, yet won't take my subscription. I do love this app though. Just fix this!
