Existing PCWorld subscribers can activate their digital subscription and get access to the PCWorld Magazine, which allows you to access on any device. Use the links below for more information. Additionally, you can buy individual issues or subscribe, all right within the app. For in-app purchases; single issues are available for $6.99 each, or you can opt for a recurring monthly subscription for $1.99 per issue.     I give up. Have subscribed to PCW since issue #1 but the transition to digital only has been flawed from the start. The app is buggy and I lose all back issues with every renewal. With the updated app, can't even reliably read the recent issues. Should be MORE convenient, not less than just having them stacked up in a corner. So, that's it. No more renewals. Sad.

    Ever since the update about 3 months ago, I always have to contact customer service to download the latest issue...always wants me to buy or subscribe...even though I am paid up though July of 2018. May have to cancel my subscription if it doesn’t get better soon!

    Also found myself being unable to download new issues that I had a subscription for. Cannot “Restore Purchases” because I get an error saying that there are no purchases to restore.

    I still get the magazine (paid subscriber) 3 or more days earlier in Zinio than the PCWorld app. I am done reading by the time it says I do not need to pay for the new issue in the app. The reading itself is fine once I get access.

    Junk app....signed into my account and tried to renew subscription. I get an Internal Server Error message every time. In addition, I tried to update the mailing address on my account AGAIN, but the app says my correct address is on already on file--then when I check my profile, it still has the old wrong address. This app is a waste of time. Update...every time there is a new issue, the app wants me to buy it or subscribe. I DID SUBSCRIBE AND THE APP SHOWS ME SIGNED IN! This app is utter trash. Dont waste your time or money.

    They change a good app for a piece of junk. For a computer magazine to create an app this bad how can you believe anything they write. I have 50+ years in computer programming and would of had one if I wrote apps like this one. Please go back to paper you where better then.

    I can download back issues but cannot get the latest. Has a price on it as if my subscription has expired, which it has not. Subscription website is broken too. Try looking at transaction history to confirm last renewal and get a missing page error. What has happened here?

    I had some of the same problems as other reviewers, but they were quickly resolved. My main complaint is the way it keeps returning to the home page when I start it up. I want and option to go to the page I was reading before I put it down. The workaround is to set a bookmark before putting it down. This is not ideal.

    Keep getting error messages that I cannot login even with the new provided password. Contacted customer support and the reply indicated they were having problems with the app. Now I hope I can receive a refund of my subscription from this "high" technology organization

    Can't download any current issues. Subscription paid through December. Poor service for a new app. Update: They fixed the app within 24 hours. That is what a top notch company does. Although the problem should never hit the general public. Four stars for the fix but two for existence in the first place.

    Downloading the upgrade erased all of my previous issues and I can't get customer service to answer my email requesting new log in credentials. My subscription died with this so called upgrade. DONT DO IT!!

    You give us an 'update'. Usually these things are an improvement, but not this time. I prefer the previous version, cos the way the articles were shown was much better than being forced to look at every single page of articles that I have no interest in. Then I download the September issue, looking forward to reading it. I got the lead page of the 4 reasons this person switched to bing, but nothing else!!! The article thumbnails show no problem, but the rest of the mag is non-existant! GIVE US BACK THE PREVIOUS VERSION!!!

    I paid $20 for a PC World digital subscription. This doesn't work - cannot see that I have a subscription and gives me no option to connect to authorize. Garbage.

    I did prefer the physical magazine but I am over that now. The real problem is that this useless app does not remember your last location....if you don't read the issue all at once you have to find it somehow yourself. Perhaps more annoying still, there is no print version. It's your move!

This digital app has never worked correctly for me. PC World has to be paying someone to program this garbage and they are terrible. SAD SAD SAD...

    They stopped printing my magazine and then state you can get it in newsstand and it never has worked. Update still does not work. Why pay for it when you can't even read it via the app. Will be canceling my subscription.

    Since update unable to connect, retrieve past or present issues. Asks for written subscription number at login....REALLY! I don't have any hard copies anymore and instructions to find subscription number online don't work. Don't really care for the digital version anyway this just makes it easier to strongly consider not renewing.

    Loved the print version. Resubscribed, 1 month later discontinued and online version substituted at lower cost. No refund. Online version - content may be ok, but access is almost impossible. Ironic that a computer magazine is so poorly designed for online use. Look elsewhere for computer info

    A new issue comes out and downloading it is ridiculous process. It really wasn't worth the effort when you consider all the excellent resources on the Web. I never received all the issues I paid for and the Super Guides that were offered during the subscription couldNot be downloaded as instructed. Poor customer service as I never received a response on any of my inquiries but apparently they were listening as I found that they had cancelled my account.

    Possibly since last update, I am no longer able to access my digital subscription to PC World. I am bounced right back to the Newstand on my iPad. Don't waste your money with this subscription or app until this serious issue is resolved. You get nothing right now for your money. Is PC World even aware of this issue or even care? Don't know. I know others have this same issue happening to them. UPDATE: The workaround being reported by other subscribers here has worked for me.

    Disappointed. Was unable to download recent issues--somehow managed to fix that problem, now most of my issues show up twice with no way to delete the "extra" listing as far as I can see. This app needs a lot of work.

    I like this magazine, and I liked it more when I got it in the mail. I've learned to live with the digital copy on my iPad ... until the app broke! Now it will not download new issues. There is a work around reported about deleting the "token" in Settings, deleting the app, reinstalling the app, and logging into the PC World. A software magazine/publisher should pay attention to customers, reviewers, and (most importantly!) to the quality of their app. One star for "lameness."

    Found a solution that worked for me. Go to Settings>PCWorld Digital Magazine>Mag+ Token. Delete the string of characters in there. Then go to the Newsstand. Delete the app. Then reinstall the app. You will have to log in again with your account t number and e-mail. All my mags showed up. Hopefully this will work for others. Still giving the app one star because PC World should be on top of this and not rely on subscribers to publish a fix.

    Having the same problem as others. Worked fine for months now the app won't open. It just closes out to the newstand menu. Tried deleting app and reinstalling with no luck. Please fix!

    The app freezes and bounces me back to the Newsstand. Upgrading iOS didn't help and neither did deleting and reinstalling the PCWorld app .......thanks, fixed, and library restored Stars changed to 3 for 2 day turnaround

    Very unhappy, this mag is digital only and the app crashes immediately so I basically paid for subscription that I cannot access. What have I paid for? Too bad, I was a loyal subscriber.

    Since I received the latest digital edition, the app keeps crashing. If I start it, a red screen comes up with the PCWorld logo. Then it closes and shows me the app in the Newsstand. But the app is running. I click on it, it brings up a page, and then it closes.

    The current version of the app won't even run any more on either of my iPads. Crashes right after startup. Since PCWorld went digital only, this means that I essentially wasted money on my subscription as I have no way to access my previously downloaded editions nor get new editions. Don't waste your money.

    Where did all my issues go? Where is the my account button? It worked fine until recent update. I would have given it a five a month ago. Please fix ***Thanks for the fix. I can now access my account button. Upgraded rating from 1 to 5. Works as advertised.
