    I can't log on, and when I'm fortunate enough for that to happen, anytime I attempt to navigate away from the home screen, no other pages will load. Impractical and doesn't function, an absolute waste of my time as a customer of this bank. It is physically impossible to deposit checks using this app. Do not be a customer of this bank! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!

    I just downloaded the most recent version of the Santander App (4.2) on my iPhone 6. It’s junk and does not work. App crashes and I can’t access my accounts.

    Probably the worst infrastructure I’ve ever seen on a mobile banking app, the authentication responses most of the time take well over 45 seconds just to fail.

    Taking a photo of your check to deposit is the most frustrating thing about this garbage app. I have it in an extremely well-lit environment on a dark background, but I keep getting a message about the lighting. I even took it outside in direct sunlight and got the same error message. Total crap-app.

    I used this app awhile ago when I was just starting out with Santander. It’s a very very good bank. Better than all the other banks i’ve used. The only associated with it is this terrible app that doesn’t function properly. If you fail to log in more than once the app will automatically disable your account. Than you have to start the whole process over again with the tedious security questions etc. “Caution!” - Don’t use this app if you are using the website version only or else you risk doing the whole setup process all over again with the app!

    There has been a problem with Santander’s opening screen for I don’t know how long! If you log into the app and log off, if you return to the app as soon a you pull the screen up there is a message that says “Error, session expired”. If I’ve already logged out why am I getting a message that’s basically saying that the session ended due to inactivity???

    No way to file bills. Need Calendar not scrolling menu with out days of the week. Nobody wants to guess the day of the week. And if you do guess and it’s a Sunday you have to cancel and start over. Cannot edit bills to adjust date. You still have to look at a calendar for the days of the week. Amateur hour @Santander

    Every time I try to pay a bill from my separate bill paying account it defaults back to my main checking. I don’t want the money to draw from my main checking! Please fix it so when I choose an account to use to pay the bill it doesn’t default back to the wrong account. Now I cannot pay bills off the app, which is super inconvenient.

    I love this app, but ever since I updated to iOS 11.1, I have been unable to access its features. Every time I touch the deposit or transfer tab, the app crashes.

    Password field prevents you from pasting in complex passwords from password manager, and if you leave the app to go look it up, it forces you to enter it again from the beginning... Since my password is random and about 20 characters long, there's no way to log in. No comment on utility of app, since I can't log in without having a second phone along with me.

    Every time I try to login it tells me that it is not available and if unable to access later to call a phone number. It has been like these for like 2 months!! I always end up just going to the website to make payments and check balances. It is very frustrating when I don’t have my computer at hand and I have to login to the website through my phone.

    App needs a refresh. Balance doesn’t update unless you close and reopen app. You have to press logon before Touch ID pops up to access the account. It would be better to open the app and immediately ask for Touch ID since I’m opening the app for a reason. Unable to add memos to transactions. Very basic and minimal app, website is just as outdated. Looks like nothing has been changed since 2009.

    The Bill pay feature from the App is terrible Currently it always defaults to the wrong account even after I select the proper account. I didn’t care for the bill pay app already and recently this started happening. Also when I try to log in from my cell phone on the full site that too is modified. Again the bill pay feature on the full site from a mobile device also is terrible. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING!!!!

    App used to be very intuitive and easy navigate, now I can’t access my credit cards since the last update. Took something that was actually efficient and relatively easy to navigate and turned it into something completely useless. Good job.

    Up until latest Apple update, I was able to switch accounts to pay bills using the app. Now in billpay, it always defaults back to the first account listed when it confirms even if you manually change it. So frustrating. Had to go back to using desktop version. Please fix!!!!!

    I rarely review anything and have been holding back for a very long time but I absolutely HATE the new format. It is so much less user friendly than the older version. I work weird hours and must do most of my banking through the app so it is annoying (to me at least) having to tap everything multiple times. Previous version was so much more intuitive 😕

    I really like this app. Very easy to use and find everything. The design is also very clean. I like the quick balance feature on the lock screen, allowing you to check your balance without signing in. Mobile check deposit doesn’t always work the first time, but usually will work if you keep trying. Good App.

    I have been with sovereign/ Santander for years. You have always seemed to be a step behind the rest. When you redid your app my feeling changed. You were back on top. Now with the latest update I am unable to access my sphere credit card through your app. Your own credit card is not there. What happen? It was nice doing everything in one place but now I need to log into the web version to pay my bill. Not happy!!

    This app needs a total makeover. You sign in and it logs you out. Don’t transfer money from one account to the next. The deposit check option does not work. What’s the point of having an app if you can’t do anything on it? I have to go on my computer to do all my transactions minus the check deposit, so now my husband have to make sure he makes it home in time to get to the bank to deposit our check. This is the worst bank app I’ve ever use!

    Since the update I can no longer utilize the transfer funds to someone else option. It just continues to roll at the loading confirmation and then the session expires.
