    Trying to pay the Santander Credit Card and gets to the point where you pay and it circles around until it times out and crashes the program. You can’t click ok to exit. It’s locked up until you restart the app. You do it again and same result.

    This app has never been great, however it usually has worked. Now with iOS11, I am unable to make any check deposits, it will just sit on a loading screen until I close the app. The App Store says the app was just updated a few days ago for iOS 11, so I’m not sure what the deal is

    When I first got the app for iPhone last year, I was extremely happy with its performance. However, it has now been at least two months since I could open the app without it crashing before even getting to the login screen. I have been installing the app updates as they come out, but I still have to get on my computer or use Safari on my phone to access my online banking.

    Each update may fix a bug or add a new function, but also introduces new bugs or function failures. The app also does not include a means of reporting bugs. The web version provides a more useable application.

    Everything is great about the app, except one flaw. Within Bill Pay you can not edit the outgoing bill that is scheduled to be paid like on the full site. Your only option is to cancel the payment and then create a new one. Waste of time, for this reason I gave 3 stars. Please update with a fix.

    So happy to see that Santander formerly known as sovereign bank came out of the dark ages and created this app however it is not reliable and needs additional work. It shuts down unexpectedly and is down for days.

    Decent but wish it wasn't so difficult to upload an image (check). It forces you to hurry the pic which then becomes blurry. I think otherwise the app is good.

    You better fix this stupid app ASAP - it is useless - it won't even open. You need to up your game. You should be ashamed. I give it 0 stars. It is making me give it 1.

    Great app overall- only problem is Touch ID won't work, I'll check off the box and activate it and it will say "Touch ID will be activated next time you log in" but then it resets itself.. just kind of annoying bc I have to type in my password evertime.

    Been using the app for over a year- mostly to deposit checks. Just updated today and deposited a check without any problems. Saves many trips to the bank, love it!

    Among the worst apps I've EVER used in my life. Unbelievable that a major banking corporation can't find a reasonable developer. I plan on banking elsewhere because unfortunately this isn't the only thing about this bank that is trash. God forbid you lose a debit card, you have to wait a month for them to send you a new one and during that time your life must revert back to the 1940's where your only other option is to make it to the bank before closing or write a check...... meanwhile every other bank I know of has the capabilities of replacing your card at any branch on the spot. FYI Santander, customers don't like to be jerked around, especially when it comes to their personal finances.

    All my banking I do is through this app and it is horrendous. Learn how to make the app function properly before updating it. Bank of America here I come.

    Lately this app is useless and I can't even open this app anymore. I don't understand how this bank management and develope the online app + website. Its so out of date. You will keep losing customer if you don't study how another bank doing.

    The quick balance feature is working again which is great but the section to deactivate a debit card still isn't working. It keeps saying I don't have a card. Even though I have a checking, savings, and there new credit card.

    Cannot see past payments nor can you search. You can't modify pmts either. You have to delete and then start again. No way to file bills. No calendar view in bill pay so you have to guess the day of the week ?! Get rid of scrolling calendar!

    Just wanted an easier way to make payments on my Auto Loan instead of going to the Santander App via safari on my phone. Decided to download the app and although I enter the correct username and pw, I still get a prompt saying that I didn't enter the challenge question. There isn't even a place for me to view that challenge question. I see why they rated the app so horribly.

    The latest "update" to this app rendered it inoperable. I can no longer login, and when I approached the actual bank tellers at my local branch about this issue, they conceded that many people were experiencing this problem, but that there was nothing they could do. It has been almost two months now- time to find a new bank that actually conducts business in the 21st century.

    This app previously had its issues, but using voice over I was able at least to login, view balances, transfer money outside the bank, do bill pay, and other standard things. It was not always easy, but it could be done. As of the August 2, 2017 update, I can only view balances. I can't pay my rent, or do any of the other things that require this app. This bank just became a lot less useful.

    I'm trying to pay my cell phone bill from the checking account that I always pay my bills from, but when I choose that account it is still showing it being withdrawn from my other checking account. Logging out and trying again didn't solve it.

    How is it that I can only pay bills during business hours?? Every single time I try to pay bills at the end of the day (like, 10:00 pm, for example), it tells me "an unexpected error has occurred" and I can't go further. Thanks for the convenience, Santander - nice going....

    This app gets better - very slowly. And each new version invariably breaks some existing functionality. The latest version significantly improved the image capture functionality in Mobile Deposit. But the Quick Balance feature broke for all those who had it enabled (deleting and reinstalling the app fixes it). A few years ago, this app was completely frustrating so it deserves some credit for having come a long way.

    As the title suggests, this app seemingly only works for certain hours out of the day, and crashes often. It's seemingly slow to update your deposits and withdrawals, and to be honest it's just easier to go to an ATM and get a slip printed out. When it does work it's a really nice app, but that's like 12% of the time.

    This app is quick to login, check funds, and other options, but mobile deposit is complete b.s. It always makes some excuse that tells me my photo is not clear enough. It hasn't worked for weeks. This app needs to get improved soon. I have the app to avoid the bank, but now I have to use the bank anyways!!! Best part is that they're closing at even earlier hours.Might as well delete the app though. Possibly switch banks. Stupid app does give login problems lately though.

    This app is a absolutely horrible!!! It was working great for the longest time. After is did the most recent iPhone update it's been absolute garbage. NOTHING WORKS!!! The quick balance no longer works, mobile deposit no longer works etc etc etc etc. Why bother having an app if you are not going to keep up with updates and fix it in a TIMELY manner. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 the one star is not what I wanted to rate it.     There's a limit on the characters you can enter for your password, so if you have a longer password (such as myself) you cannot access your accounts through the app. Update August 2018: when I thought it couldn't get worse- now I can't even get past entering my username. I like Santander, but this app is a new low in quality.

    The app used to work fine, but as of this morning trying to log in with fingerprint id crashes the app. I am also unable to deposit checks in the app. After capturing the check image, I am unable to select which account the deposit is for.

    Just joined this bank and the app does seem like it needs some more polish and refinement. It just doesn't feel like a finished product. Lowering my review and closed my account with this bank after one week. App needs work and even worse, new customers are not allowed to use Apple Pay until they been with the bank for 60 days or more. No way! Went to TD bank and opened an account with them and was able to use Apple Pay immediately as a new customer. New customers that want Apple Pay, avoid this bank!
