  • This app charges your account monthly without any way to undo it. 1/5

    By Grateful 09721556209
I have tried cancelling the subscription with the company that is listed as this app's developer only to receive a response that they did not design it and the monthly fee is still being charged. There are better apps than this one.
  • Very Buggy 2/5

    By osengkho
This version is very buggy. Every few days, all my purchased issues would disappear and I would have to re-download them again; I've over 10 issues. It's quite annoying and frustrating. I will not purchase any more issue until this is resolved. Whenever I'm able to access them I just love the articles, tips and techniques. I look forward to try and use them on my photoshop projects.
  • You have to buy a package after download 1/5

    By M.I.A 11
What a waste of time! once downloaded, you have to buy in order to try it out. Just add the price before downloading and save people time!!!
  • Informative 5/5

    By RJPerrelet
I really like this e-zine! Lots of practical tips albeit a little short on content sometimes. I hope it continues to expand and I hope it isn't true that my issues disappears when my subscription stops?
  • Decent 4/5

    By Boomdog07
Not bad, would be better if the articles on iPad were a little easier to read. Also sometimes the downloadable or links are broken when using it on my Mac. Not a big deal I guess but it would be nice to actually be able to use the software side by side with the actual files that are being used in the tutorials, and sometimes this just isn't able to be done due to the broken links or bad download spots.
  • Great magazine, 5/5

    By Wgrosevear

  • Good magazine but link sharing is a sales scam 4/5

    By pt_8string
While the magazine has some excellent articles and tutorials, and the price is great, including links to their video tutorials, there is one thing that leads me to only give it 4 stars. I read an article and wanted to share it with a friend, who is not yet a subscriber. I clicked on the “share” button, which I was led to believe would share the link with a friend. Instead, I found out that the “share” is only to share the ability to have your friend subscribe. That’s really misleading, and I won’t use that feature again. These folks should allow one click through per mail address sent, and offer a subscription if the recipient likes the article. As it is, it will now become an unused ‘feature’.
  • Wonderful education 5/5

    By Crodz726
There are articles for all levels of shooting. You have answers for everything.
  • Great Publication 5/5

Fantastic articles. Great customer service. Highly recommended.
  • Helpful 5/5

Great mag with lots of easy to understand tutorials! Really enjoy it
  • Practical Photoshop Sadness 2/5

    By KirahRocks
I bought this mag ipad edition for one year. Currently I cannot afford it so I let my subscription lapse. Warning!!! ...... All the mags you BOUGHT go away. I have no mags that I bought for reference!! That seems mean and poor business practice. As a business owner I would never treat my client base in this manner!
  • Practical Photoshop 3/5

    By QwertyRepeater
I liked the full magazine much more than the current shorter version.
  • There are no issues to buy!! 1/5

    By elyran
This is stupid, the app is "practically" blank...
  • Top tips 5/5

    By Facebook Tabs
This mag has given me lots of little top tips, well worth the minimal investment when you consider what we all put into our equipment shouldn't we all maintain some way of learning consistently in this ever changing digital world we are in. A magazine or 3 a month is at bare minimum just to keep up.....
  • Love it 5/5

    By Alex007ac
Great resource, love the magazines to begin with but having on here is wonderful, not to many changes I would make, the videos are wonderful.all of the details that need to be there are there, perhaps the only comment I could make to make an improvement would be to have the materials available to the reader to fiddle with online.
  • Such a great magazine 5/5

  • Good content 5/5

    By Art5555
Explanations have been clear and short. Content has gotten thinner, but still good value. Very readable.
  • No Bargain 1/5

    By Es Rey
I saw discount prices on Practical Photoshop magazine and purchased some of them. I discovered the magazines were only about 20 pages (down from about 115 pages). Not worth it.
  • Excellent 5/5

    I love this magazine @JCov_net
  • Great magazine 5/5

    By Tony52
If your into photoshop then this is the app to get. Every magazine is filled with tips and tricks to take your photography to the next level. I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to get the most from their photography.
  • A Step Backwards 2/5

    By TarheelRambler
The best thing I can say about the "new" Practical Photoshop is that the lower price is nice. But as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. The tutorials are still well done, but there are fewer in each issue (a lot fewer!). And there is a lot less in the way of editorial content. Most importantly, it seems that reader contributed content has been sacrificed as well. This was a good source of useful information on using a challenging product. I fear that like Photoshop CC, the changes here are going to result in a loss of interest by the viewing public.
  • Bad update 1/5

    By CE560XLPilot
After the latest update to prepare for iOS 7, i am no longer recognized as a subscriber. Nice to OT have access to close to a years worth of magazines. Otherwise good app.
  • Doesn't work! 1/5

    By CameronProductions...CreativeDesignStudio
Every single issue that comes in has problems installing! Not one has ever downloaded properly and I too have lost issue after issue. Sure sounds like it would be a great read, but I honestly wouldn't even know. Their customer support has also been no help, been referred to Apple and we all know that Apple is help responsible for these. Stay away until one day, though I purchased mine nearly a year ago they prove us wrong!
  • False Advertising!!! 1/5

    By cjwoods1
I recently got a message from you guys claiming I could get a free issue because of Boxing Day! So i got the resent magazine, but was charged for it. Contacted support they sent me to iTunes. iTunes can't refund my money & suggested I contact these people! I got ripped off by false advertising!!! Don't pay any attention to their message!!! Not sure I want to get a subscription to this magazine now!!! I'm afraid I'll get burnt again! Great another message, offering a recent back issue for free, sorry I'm not falling for that twice!!! Not guaranteed to be free!!! See what screwing someone over can cost! If you have a free download for us mark it as free or better yet give it to us so that we can start reading it.
  • They are crooks 1/5

    By Sabestine2
Okay, is I bought the three month subscription, which was fine...then they automatically renewed it for another three months I was still okay with it...then I uninstalled the app while I switch iPads, and lost all my past issues, I still got charged for the issues, and agin automatic renewal of the subscription. I wrote several emails to the company, no response. Do your self a favor and don't get this app or any subscription. I would also highly recommend Advanced Photoshop if you want any photoshop mag...any but this one to be sure.
  • Don't get it 1/5

    By Photoshop noob
Downloaded it hoping to learn something new. Spent money on a few if the issues since I had a redeem coupon. Spent over $20 only to find that it crashes every time
  • Great FREE issues! 5/5

    By TabbyDeAnne
I read several negative reviews about this app but downloaded it anyway. I was shocked to find after download I went to my Newstand and found several FREE issues! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the video tutorial on how to make your photo look like a zombie! Thanks guys. I will subscribe!
  • Great digital magazine 5/5

    By USTECE82
The app and sample issue is free. If you plan to learn and improve your PS skills this mag is a must have. It is one of the best interactive photo mag available in the app store. The cost per issue is high but a lot less than the $16.00 print version (at the local BN store).
  • Stupidest thing ever. 1/5

    By AnnaleeL
Don't download. It's not free even though it says it is. And it has nothing to with picture editing. At all. Whatsoever.
  • Where are the images to download and practice with? 5/5

    By plumberdave
My one star review has nothing to do with the magazine itself or the subscription. I like ready the articles and the how-to's and have found them informative enough to subscribe, as well as purchase past issues. The problem I am having is not being able to download the images (for example the Surreal dreamscape tutorial from summer 2011). If digital subscribers are not able to download the images from past issues they buy, then why even include the tutorials? I will change this rating once I am able to download the images to practice with from past issues. I have changed my rating to 5 stars now. The newest issue includes links to email the resources to an email address. I can now follow along with the tutorials using the actual phots used. Thanks for addressing this issue!
  • Nice mag but way too expensive 2/5

    By Fotographix
$65 a year!!!! For a magazine??? Come on guys...we're photographers, not millionaires!
  • false advertisment 1/5

    Not free
  • Issues don't download 1/5

    By hmmd
I recently subscribed to the online version for iPad but can't download anything without paying again. Had heard this was a big problem with this magazine after I bought it but was hoping problems w the website had been resolved. This is a rip-off as you pay up front for a subscription, get your first copy and then nothing after that with no way to get your money back. DON'T SUBSCRIBE ! WEBSITE DOES NOT WORK AND THEY KNOW IT!!!
  • There is a free sample! 4/5

    By Video Beagle
All this does is put a subscription app into Newstand. FROM THERE you can get a very nice sample issue of the magzine with several very nice tutorials.
  • NOT Free it's a lie 1/5

    By Scott123456
There is nothing free here. App just gives the right to buy the magazine. Three is no free sample to see if you might like it. It's a bait and switch type of move. It turns me off and makes me walk away from their magazine.
  • I don't know what other people are complaining about... 5/5

    By Tender Meat
The app does exactly as it says. The magazine itself is top-notch. Of course, you need a subscription to read it, but that's because it's a magazine. Get real, people.
  • I like your magazines. 4/5

    By freddyp13
    Very interesting.
  • Bogus advertising 👎😝 1/5

    By BBRT
The app is free ... Ha. The app is a store front, NOT a free sample of your magazine. You say here's our new issue ... it says FREE under the app icon and people naturally think you are offering a free trial like almost every publisher here. The FREE or LITE version allows you to TRY before you buy ... you do not. That's BOGUS!
  • This is a possible subscription. 4/5

    By Niederhauser
The previous reviews state that you must pay when you download this app, which is not entirely true. You do get a free copy of one of the magazines. If you are wanting future or past copies of the publication, then yes you will have to pay. It's just like buying a magazine at the store. It says nowhere in the description that the content is free. The app is free, the content is not.
  • Waste of time 1/5

    By FNNutzO
I wasted download data for this? Total crap, wants 6.99 right after you finish download. Not free.
  • FRAUD!! 1/5

    By Adjewaa
This App is NOT FREE!! Deceptive. I deleted this app as soon as I found out that they actually charge you. I hope that this app doesn't automatically attempt to get payment although I have deleted this app.
  • Yep not free 1/5

    By Janet Gaitan
Not even a demo! Booo !!! Did not get.
  • $$$$$ 1/5

    By Berry bagel
Don't be fooled- this app is NOT free!! The first thing you must do is buy a cover, then upload your picture. If you don't buy something, this app has nothing for you to do.
  • Stupid!!! 2/5

    By marion's ipad
This was a waste of my time…I know these ppl need to make money, but it would be nice if it told you the its going to cost money
  • WTH? 1/5

    By Sa7fer
Ok if we have to pay but you have the right to have something for free as at list some samples ,, geezzzzzzz, thus app don't belong here, my opinion , or do not say it's free when is not.
  • Too expensive!! 1/5

    By GamerGenkisan
We can get better info on the net for free and you expect us to pay that much for your subscriptions? Crazy!
  • Subscription deception 1/5

    By webfox
The app, when installed, claims that we will save "at LEAST 24%" by subscribing. However, with the quoted USD prices, it is nowhere near that. 90 days: 3 issues at 6.99 = 20.97; vs subscription at 20.99 is about 0.1% "savings." 180 days: 6 issues = 35.94; vs subscription at 34.99 is about 2.7% savings. 365 days: 12 issues = 83.88; vs subscription at 64.99 is getting closer, at 22.5% savings. None of these however live up to the boldly deceptive and misleading "AT LEAST 24%."
