Makes me nervous 5/5
I am a life long student of the Spanish language. Over the last year I’ve used Duo lingo and a text book called Spanish for Gringos for my self study. What I like about Rosetta Stone is that I am challenged by the exercises and get that ‘in over my head’ feeling like when I’m interacting with a native speaker. This helps me know I am being challenged. I received a 12 mo. Subscription for Christmas but could definitely see continuing once it’s up.
they make it fun and easy! 5/5
The app is easy to use, and makes learning a new language really enjoyable!
Signing in 3/5
I think the app is great, my only issue is that I have to sign in every time I open the app. And to me that gets very irritating.
Voice Recognition is Spotty 2/5
I have been using Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish(Latin America) and I’ve moved the level of learning to extended so I could make the most of the service. It is a great service nonetheless but also have a lot of issues with the voice recognition and would improvements in other areas as well. First of all, the app is only getting two stars due to my level of frustration with the voice recognition portion when pronouncing certain words, and at first I thought it just may be my English(United States) accent, or possibly my headphones mic, but I have several different headsets I’ve tested as well as I had my roommate who speaks Spanish fluently pronounce the words and it still did not recognize the word. I would like to see improvements in other areas as well, such as when a new word is introduced, being able to click on it and see the translation to it, because sometimes the pictures are not always clear as to what the word means, same goes for the grammar of the word, there is lessons on identifying the grammar but I would like to indentify what suffix I’m adding to any word. For app accessibility, there needs to be a reset button in the pause menu for those who may have made a mistake and instead of having to go through it and then go back to it again, or leaving to another and coming back, just give me a quick reset option so I can just restart that lesson. The reset goes hand in hand with my frustration with the voice recognition portion. Lastly, if I do go back into a lesson to 100% a portion, I would like to immediately exit that lesson after it is done, not keep going to the next and it asking me if I want to start it up all the way to the end, or clicking yes, and then exiting out, just make a third option once all portions of the lessons had been seen or 100% to exit. If all these corrections are made, I will consider moving this to 5 stars
Mexicano roots 5/5
By Chavin Marsol
I am part Mexicano and the first language I learned was Spanish, but I soon started hanging out with more English friends and learn to speak English I soon stopped speaking Spanish as much and now speak English fluently. But since I have not spoken as much Spanish I have always wanted to learn more, Rosetta Stone has helped me learn vocabulary grammar and more.
By Dr amore
It is easily the best app. It could be better if it provided vocabulary for each lesson at the start of each section. It would seem common sense. There should also be a way to pause during a session
Tkank you for your creative program 5/5
Sooooooooooooo helpful and I’m only 11 5/5
By Misty d b
Thank you because I travel a lot and this app has really helped me thanks again.
Change the title back 1/5
Since the last update the icon says “Rosetta St...e” on my home screen and it’s annoying the crap out of me. Fix it to say what it used to say, this looks messy and irritating.
Great Mobile Tool 5/5
This app helps keep me training on the go. It’s probably even better than the website as it picks up vocal cues better.
Ok Me gusta 5/5
Great all around! 5/5
I learned so much just on a three hour road trip! It’s repetitive but I realized that it was helping me retain the info. Nice!

Beginner’s View 5/5

I am enjoying the program. My desire for learning a new language has now become my reality. The different options of having the program both on my computer and phone makes things easier and convenient. A new language is now literally at my fingertips. I can practice in between appointments, cancelled patients, or on my lunch break. Now there are no more excuses for me to follow one of my passions. Cheers to learning and having the world in your hands.
Good stuff 5/5
This is my red language with Rosetta. Each one is worth the money.
It fun it’s easy 5/5
I love it but it cost so much but I think it’s worth it because I’m learning hopefully it sticks I don’t want to waist my money
Not enough instructions as to using the icons to get what I need
Helps Me Learn 5/5
This app has helped me learn the language I am part of and other languages I wanted to learn
The app is great but I have one problem 5/5
The app is very educational!! Which is great! It’s always fun to learn a new language! But... I seem to have a problem.. I get like 4 or 3 emails a day from this app, and it kinda gets annoying. So I decided to delete the app for a day or two to see if it would stop, and it didn’t!!! It still sent 4 or 3 emails WHEN the app is deleted. But it’s totally fine if I got one a day perhaps 😁😀
But other then that app is Great 👍🏻😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Great App 5/5
This apps is very easy to use, and has great exercises. I highly recommend it
Thanks for making this game. This app has helped me get to my level of language! Thanks!
DEFINITELY USE IT 5/5
By Nickname taken?
I’ve only had this app for less than an hour and I’m already learning soooo much
Really good app 5/5
Just got the app and am on my way to a new language
تشکر از این پرگرام شما بسیار عالی است همیشه موفق باشی
Just downloaded Rosetta after hearing a lot of great things. The app currently does not show the text, when selecting the image that describes the audio file. I understand the language I’m learning a bit already. For those who are new to the language would not know what the text would be if using a second gen IPAD. I recommend a fix to this immediately as this is not the best first image of this product.

Rosetta Stone review 5/5
By Cristy Yanes
RS is the best program ever for learning a language I highly recommend it if you are serious about learning
Great learning app! 5/5
Voice recognition is great! So, the student is reading and speaking while learning. Excellent way to learn (especially as an adult).
I love the app. I’m a teach and it’s going to help me reach my Hispanic students.
I love Rosetta Stone 5/5
By Tommy TJDJ
I’m learning so fast I love Rosetta Stone
App is buggy 3/5
I’m in lesson one and it keeps having issues such that I have to restart the app. I would also appreciate more foundational knowledge for the language.
I believe with every new learning to a new word, you should also learn how to pronounce the new word and throughout the session you repeat the same things you’ve learned to remind yourself. But Rosetta stone doesn’t quite do it this away which could be easier to help someone learn
iPhone user 5/5
Great app. I have the software for my computer and the phone app is a perfect option for when I’m not able to get to my personal computer. They are exactly the same.
I love Rosetta Stone, yet it’s so hard to fully love it 3/5
I tried Spanish (Latin America) before, and I really liked it, so I decided to give Japanese a try. I’ve learned it once really long time ago, so I know how to write and read the easy stuffs and understand some vocabulary. However, Rosetta Stone’s Japanese course isn’t that good to be honest. First, the lessons sometimes tell me I’m wrong only to tell me I am correct when I press the same “wrong” answer. Second, the implied “definition” of some words are difficult to understand. For example, I still don’t understand in what context the words かのじょ and かれ are used, or what exactly they mean. I can understand it has something to do with female and male, but other than that I’m lost.
I just started re-learning and finished Lesson 1, so I can’t say much about the full lessons, but I will try and stick to it. Hopefully, I will get to achieve what I hoped to learn (especially on verb tenses).
Has come a long way since I used it on the computer. I wish it had a note pad to write stuff down. Helps me learn.
I needed this 5/5
The minute I saw this ads app I just snatched it and took it with me and I will have it forever because I just need need need this app.
I’m enjoying the app and lessons so far but often it seems to forget my progress, especially across different platforms.
Way to pricey 1/2 star is better. 1/5
After buying the entire Spanish set well enough money. I don't think I should have to pay for an app to use the product I have already purchased. It's really disappointing that I have to pay extra to use an app for a product I've paid for. Seriously it's ridiculous and disappointing. If i hadn't already purchased this product I would return it and use a different product!
😡 extremely irritated. One star can't suffice the amount of anger I have. ✌🏼
It's all in Spanish it's more like a memory game. I have no idea what it means but I guess we'll.
Boring and Ineffective 1/5
My daughter and I tried this for several months of daily practice. Not only did it become quite boring and repetitive, we learned very little. Many of the lessons are just pain hard and guessing is the only way through them. Still boredom set in after just a week. And we paid for the year subscription.
Being billed as one of the best language learning tools made me keep giving it chance after chance. Still, the "emperor wears no clothes". This software although it tries hard, it just doesn't teach you a language.
It’s Amazing 5/5
The Rosetta Stone app is amazing. I’ve tried many other apps and none is great as Rosetta Stone. I’ve been learning Italian through this and it has all the categories you would possible need from conversations to shopping and meals. I’m just a beginner in Italian and I’ve been interested for a long time and this app got me from a person who wanted to learn Italian to a person who knows Italian. It’s amazing and I recommend it to beginner learners who want to know a language better. It has pronunciation practices and reading, and I really, really recommend using Rosetta Stone for whatever language.
love it 5/5
much more worth your time than duolingo if your just beginning a language, duo is better for refreshing by far but if u wanna learn, even the free part is very useful
I resisted for years buying this but it is worth it. 5/5
I figured the free apps which are quite good, would be as good, but I guess you get what you pay for. I get more oppportunity to really speak and to really listen .
I’m doing it 5/5
By Daddy darkside
I’m so excited I'm actually learning how to speak another language and it fun going out and actually knowing I can communicate with people who’s first language isn’t English
Totally Satisfied 5/5
I’m super pleased with my purchase. It’s my first time trying Rosetta Stone and it is really effective in learning a new language. I currently studying Korean and the methods used help me to remember new vocabulary very easily. I’m so glad I tried it. The lessons are enjoyable! I really like the short stories to read.
