This app is a joke! It lets you cast from your phone or ipad the same apps that you already have on the tv. I got a 7000 series and I already have those apps there. Not only that but if you want to cast an app on your phone that has a cast logo on it you are out of luck.

The App is a buzz kill. First, you think alright!!! I just found a way to stream my iPhone videos to my Samsung TV!!! But your dreams get swatted down the moment you download the App and put an inch of faith into it! Ha! Fix it or I will never buy a Samsung again!! Embarrassing, all of my guests were able to witness Samsung falling short on this App as well. Jokes were made. Jokes on you guys if you think this app's any good!

Well Since i down load this app , I never got a problem with it only thing is to used I need to have my tv on if its off can't turn it on that's all but everything else works great ... if your network is wack 100% sure that your app won't work properly...

Connects but do you really have to authorize connection on tv every time you wish to use? It should automatically save the info and remember the device being used. I cannot believe you have to allow the connection every single time you are going to use. To allow the connection you have to use the original Tv remote, there fore in renders the app useless as it forces you to look for the original remote once you find it, you no longer need the app.

Yes this app can be finikey but in all fairness I bet a lot has to do with your network. Give it the best chance by connecting an Ethernet cord to your tv from the router. That helped me a lot. I also switched to a different router an it's great now. Check your settings if you know how and don't want to try a new router. Every once and a while it still drops and I can tell that's the apps fault not resuming well going in an out of the app. A few tweaks by the dev team and this app could rock.

I'm only giving it 1star because they did bring back the remote menu functionality. But what I'm still missing is the video casting to your phone or tablet!! This feature makes watching TV around your house, so amazing. You just connect and you can watch whatever is on your TV from your deck or backyard. GREAT function, please Bring It Back...or maybe all us "customers" need to form a joint lawsuit if Samsung can't live up to the product it sold all of us AS a feature!! FIX THE APP - Cannot get reliable connectivity to the TV, after it states connected, nothing works on app!!

I currently have more than 160 iOS apps that I use at least once a week, but this is hands-down the most unstable one. Key issue seems to be to keep the connection to the Samsung TV.
In terms of functionality, it feels like the 90s. The art mode cannot change the picture (like a slide show), you can only do this by hand. Also, it cannot downscale large pictures, that means that the passepartout frame is not available for most pictures.

App is slick, looks great. Up until about a week ago the app worked great, but now it won't connect to the tv anymore. Please do another update or whatever it is you do and I'll give a 5 star review. TV is a UN65KS8000

Have a lot of issues with Samsung TV's lately. This app suddenly malfunctioning is another blow to Samsung (lack of) quality. Previous TV has power supply issue after 1 year.

Brand new Samsung 5200 Series 5 TV on the same network as my mobile devices (IOS) and it refuses to connect. It finds the TV just fine. It just won't connect to it. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to this feature. Hopefully they can fix this problem soon, as I see I am not the only one having this problem. Come on Samsung don't let me down!

Wow. Clunky. Drops connectivity. Doesn't even provide keyboard access when wanting to search - still have to use display pointer
Come on Samsung you can do much better. Pull on your design team and make this thing work. Just adding keyboard access when searching would be major upgrade. That should take five min of coding.

This was a great app that let me control my TV until recently. No idea what happened but now it won't connect to the tv. Both are on the same network. I deleted and reinstalled app and to no avail. It still doesn't work. Was great now it doesn't even work. Please fix it. Sounds like others have my issue.:(

The app worked fine until recently. Now it can not connect to tv, both are on the same home network. tv is un70ku6300 update is 1180. Hopefully the connection issue gets fixed soon since the app itself is pretty good. Thanks

won't connect at all, with or without Bluetooth despite being on the same wifi network.
You can't ACTUALLY control anything. You can select which app you want to use, but you still have to use the TV's remote control to individually select letters as you "type" in the search bar. This app should have a keyboard that pops up for that. Just a basic channel changing app. Boo.

It only worked the first time I downloaded the App and that was it. Every time I want to use it it won't connect. Gave up on it. Remove it from my phone.
This remote works wonderfully when I can't find the actual TV remote. Lots of features and instant connection with my TV

The app worked great at first however the overall performance fails. The app losses connectivity and can not reconnect! All Samsung apps are a fail!! The should stick to making products not apps because all their apps are fails.

99% of the time, won't connect. Unless I start the app right after turning on the TV, it doesn't work. And even then, if my phone ever screen locks or if I switch to another app and come back, it stops working. It's completely useless.

Worked fine for the last year or so. After last week's upgrade it no longer connects to my tv.
There was a bit of a learning curve while using this app but once I figured it out it worked OK for me. Until recently, the App opens but then crashes within seconds.
Constant connection issues. Can't stream any videos without loading every 5 seconds. Worthless
