New to Meditation 5/5

I am a type A person. Over worked, over scheduled, and over stressed most of the time. I deal with anxiety, and thought why not try mediation. I started using this app and I have been taking time to refocus, reconnect and be a better me. It has been amazing and I just completed my first week. I am going to continue on this journey. I highly recommend it!

I never thought that meditation would be able to have such a profound and positive effect on me. I'm an abundant thinker and analyzer, to the point of not being able to settle my mind a lot of the time (which creates a lot of challenges and stress).
My thoughts, though, contribute to my creative work. So naturally I thought if I got rid of or reduced my thoughts (which is what I thought meditation would do) then I wouldn't be creative anymore.
After a week or so of meditating every day (5-10 min/day) I started to notice a change. I felt so much less anxiety, had far fewer racing thoughts, and instead of losing thoughts (ideas), they just solidified themselves to me.
This app helps assist with reminders to do this practice and it helps with specific mental/thinking topics you might be challenged by. So many great things about having this as an app on your phone at the ready.

Just my first week 5/5
Just doing this for one week, I did the intro to mindfulness, and it has a had a big impact. I am able to release tension in my temples and neck that always felt right before by just focusing on specific areas and doing five minutes a day. Definitely helped me manage daily stress.
Due to finals coming around, I have a lot of stress on me right now. I used to meditate but then stopped my habit. This app has really helped calm me down and get back in that habit; I’m so happy that I got it!

Just wish I could Chromecast it from my iPhone 6s. Also... the Apple Health Meditaton monitor does not recognize and save my meditations from “Simple Habit”. It saves for my other free “meditation studio” but not this one.

During a visit to my provider over a week ago, she recommended this app to help me with reducing stress in my day to day busyness. I started it a day later and can honestly say it has really helped me feel calmer. I reflect more and I’ve noticed I’m more relaxed, too. I will continue to see what new activities it will offer to help me meditate and keep my stress low.

it’s great to help you let loose; be free. it makes you feel relaxed. that’s what i really love for this app. it helps me distress when i’m feeling really overworked with schoolwork or i’m just thinking about some drama. i also do this in my free time.

I’m learning how to meditate and be mindful with this app. I’m using the free version and find it very helpful. The topics are applicable. Instruction is calm yet clear. I think I may go for premium.

Just made it to Day 7. Thank you simple habit, thank you Cory. I originally started my meditation practice in Boulder at the Shambhala center. I miss it dearly. Iʻve had a hard time finding a similar community where I am living now and have used that as an impedīent to meditating. While a community would be nice, I do feel a part of something similar using this app. Thanks for getting me back to my practice. The only down side is the cost... I realize there are plenty of free options and in the grand scheme of things ~12 dollars per month isnʻt much, but is meditation only for those who can afford it? Iʻm curious what the cost breakdown is for this. Where does the money go?

I’m very greatful to have seen this app on shark tank. I’ve been trying to learn meditation for a while through other videos on the internet but usually just ended up falling asleep (not really my goal:). When I was Simple habit it was like a lightbulb lit up and I had the app loaded before the episode of shark-tank finished. I have been using it everyday since. I’m am currently a stage 4 cancer warrior and it’s is part of my regime as I’m doing a lot of non traditional treatments. I use it to control pain, anxiety, depression and strengthening my body to fight on its own. I have learned so much about meditation and directing my thoughts. I am truly greatful everyday for this app and the teachers I can access. Take care....

I suffer from anxiety, stress, and depression. My counselor told me to look for an app to help with breathing exercises or meditation. I found this one and I'm on my first day and I already feel like so much stress has been lifted off my shoulder! I LOVE this!

Amazing what 5 minutes can do. Still trying to learn how to maneuver around, but it seems easy enough and short enough it feels like there is no reason I could not fit that into my day somehow.
I heard about Simple Habit on Shark Tank, and it is just amazing. It’s really helped me to just be so relaxed and open minded. I just finished the intro series and I’ve already applied what i learned to my real life and it’s just brought upon such a calmness. I’ve already recommended it to a handful of friends. Great Job! I’m sold, I’m definitely going to subscribe! It doesn’t cost anything to try it out, you won’t be sorry!
They close off all free sessions and force you to buy 2/5
This was advertised as some session types available at the premium subscription rate and some that were free. Turns out even the feee sessions force you buy even though they say they’re free. Not nice to do that. I’m deleting this app. Sorry as some sessions were good.

I’ve been wanting to get into meditation more lately. The Simple Habit app has helped me so much after only having it for a week! I got it at the suggestion of a friend and I’m so grateful. I love being able to set the reminder to make me stop what I’m doing and meditate.
My only complaint is that a lot of the content that I want to try is part of the premium subscription. I think a feature where the free user can try a couple sessions of premium content each month would be a great way to promote the premium options. I would like to try premium sessions before I pay the price for premium.
Is it worth the price? 5/5
Yes. I cringed when I saw the subscription price, but it's absolutely proven itself to me. As another reviewer said, it has been extremely effective at getting me "into the groove" of meditation, with bite-size high-reward meditations that fit literally anywhere in my day. A few days in you really start to see your awareness and mindfulness show up in other areas of your life. Highly recommended!
Good app but content needs work 2/5
The app UI is fine, and free of bugs but the content needs improvement. The guided meditations have way too much talking and fast talking at that. I’m trying to relax not listen to an auction.

When I spoke to my PCP at my yearly physical she told me about Simple Habit. I have anxiety and over think, a job I love but can be stressful.
My doctor told me she uses this App and looks forward to it everyday.
I started during the Christmas holidays and feel like I getting into it!
It’s helping me be aware of what stresses me and begin the relaxation and deep breaths.
So, I am happy that I have Simple Habit! Thank you!

There is a diverse variety of mindfulness practices and meditations available through this app. There are plenty of options to suit your needs, and there are plenty of free options. Of course, there are also lots of practices only available to those who pay for a membership which is why there is a star missing from my rating. It took some initial searching to find which were free and which were exclusive to the membership.
Fantastic app, obnoxious intro and outro. Makes starting slightly annoying. I just want to relax.

I would say this has become my favorite meditation app.
I was auto subscribed to this app and was billed $11. I did not know it until i saw an email of the bill.
1/8/18 I sent an email December 14 to unsubscribe and i’m still subscribed to this junk. Emailing me asking for my email. Lol! Crock sh$t.

Would be nice if the background sound didn’t have the strange bird squawking sound. A nice ocean sound or spa type music would be nice.

Anxiety Attacks happen 5/5
I've been having panic attacks this past year that definitely affected how I operated during the day. I also have insomnia, self doubt and day's where the negative thoughts dictate how my weeks go... I didn't want to always rely on my friends to help me out on those dark days especially when things happened at 3 or 4 am... Then i saw this app on Shark Tank and decided to check it out myself. I did a few days as a free user and within the first few days, I noticed that my thoughts became more level headed, I actually slept a little more than usual, and it had an SOS section that helped me calm down from a panic attack. I decided to pay for the premium and I am glad I did! There's provided daily sessions that has been working for me so far. I'd definitely recommend this for people who have an overactive mind and those seeking to just learn how to appreciate and just... well... people who want to breathe a breath of stress free air.
