  • Gorgeous app, great developers 5/5

    By EdPilot
I’ve been using this app for about a month now, and can say without hesitation that this is the BEST sky guide I have found to date. The level of detail, the craftsmanship, the ease of use makes this a wonderful experience—particularly with my young child and astronomy-related projects. I installed the supermassive add on, and it it amazing. The developers have been fast with responses to my questions, and when I thought the app was not functioning exactly correctly, I discovered that not only was it working exactly correctly, but in an intuitive way. The ISS went over my home last night, and I was surprised not to see it. After an email inquiry, I learned that the app shows the relative brightness while the satellite can be seen, and fades out the satellite when no longer sunlit. I backed out the time to last night and was blown away by how it works so well. Amazing work!

I LOVE this app! I am hooked on looking for satellites!! I search almost every early morning and early evening and have learned so many more constellations because of it. There is so much information about ever star, object, galaxy, who discovered it, its name, stats...everything! You can have it alert you for your favorite events like the ISS flyover, meteor showers etc. so you never miss anything. By the way I only have the Free App and obviously love it!! I can't even imagine how cool the "Supermassive" version is...

I just wanted you to kindly inform your organization that I am extremely disappointed that I did not receive a notification AT ALL for this morning’s “Trifecta Lunar Eclipse event.” Last time I checked, a total Lunar Eclipse was considered to be an astronomical or “sky” event. This is NOT the first time I DID NOT receive any notifications for astronomical events. Yea, all of my notification settings have been turned ON for this application. Therefore, I will no longer look to your “skyguide” app, which I have PAID for, for astronomical events. Not a reliable source.

When I saw the advertisements for this app, I thought that surely it was gonna be buggy or slow, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover the contrary. It goes above and beyond its price, it runs incredibly incredibly smooth, it's super simple to use, educational, and is an extremely user friendly and fun app over all. 5/5 from me.

  • One of my favorite apps 5/5

    By mls113
This is great for nighttime stargazing. It’s great for identifying which stars you’re looking at and locating constellations.
  • So sick of this app 1/5

    By JellyBeano
The developers must never use it themselves. You receive a Iridium flare notice for 5 min away. We go outside to watch, but theres NO TIMER. Like what the flying f man. The flares last a couple of SECONDS. Put a TIMER on the screen. Then, 9 times out of 10, especially on an iPhone X, you accidentally TOUCH ANY PART OF THE DISPLAY, and ALL the info about the flare is -GONE-. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?! Oh it’s a pretty app. Just don’t bother with chasing Iridium Flares. Pathetic. Eat your own dog food for Pete’s sake. Add a timer. Keep the info on the screen until intentionally dismissed. Is that really so hard?
  • Love stars 5/5

    By Defog15
    Very helpful for identification.
  • Amazing app 5/5

    By Habaguanex
Very attractive app. It’s entertaining and educational at the same time. A good choice for parents to introduce kids to astronomy.
  • Best Star App By Far! 5/5

    By Snapback46
This is very worth the money! My favorite part is that just by pressing the compass at the top, you can move your phone around like you are actually looking at the night sky! This could be good for a VR! There is nothing to dislike about this app! I’m not just saying this just because I want to, I’m actually serious. It is super informational and notifies you of passing satellites and so much more! But it for the best experience you have ever had!
