Revolutionized our lodges communication sytem 5/5
This was implemented into our OA lodge, and it has honestly made such an improvement. We grew by 15% this year.
Very easy to learn and it keeps me updated!
Gratuitous notifications, poor UI 1/5

Gratuitous notifications, poor UI
The best app for collaboration. I’m a member of the iOS Developers community which has over 18,000 members and the frame rate stays smooth when scrolling through channels. Keep up the good work and Slack will always be awesome.
Love it, but why so expensive 4/5
My company would love to use this as a paid solution but you all have priced it out of reach!
Life changing 5/5
Completely transformed communication in each team where it was implemented. No user is too young or too old to get this.
Better than text 5/5
Great for group comms. Used with FRC Robotics team 3490.
Slack usability 1/5
The slack app is so cluttered and noisy with junk that it is cumbersome to use. Additionally, the app does not allow for input from an external keyboard for those of us who enjoy using a physical keyboard.
Great mobile app with intuitive functionality 5/5
This app is pretty awesome for on the go use. I like that the app has not lost hardly any functionality from the desktop version and has even added a few cool features. For example the ability to swipe on the contacts list to bring up previous conversations is really cool and intuitive.
Hate the sign in process 1/5
Why do you make it so hard to sign out and sign in? Some of us do not want to remain signed in all the time.
Is there a way to save both my team and username such that I only have to enter the password when I re-login? This is the most painful process of the day for me.
Add emojis back to names 3/5
I use this app for work and love it!
However recently the app changed and it no longer allows you to add an emoji to your name. Our entire agency enjoys changing our name and adding a different emoji on a daily basis. I know it seems silly, but it’s the little things :)
I will gladly change my review to 5 stars if this gets changed back!!
Should have figured this out. Now we all go to other places to converse without getting scammed.
An awesome communication tool 5/5
Could be good 2/5
Could be better interface
Oganically Sourced 4/5
By Wendell New York
Great way to keep track of ops with the team
Would be great if it did not crash so often 3/5
I like the app and use it regularly. However, it crashes with annoying regularity when clicking on a notification.
It is okay 5/5
It’s good 5/5

Not useable 1/5
The app has become unusable. It crashes the moment i try to use. Happens every single time.
Slack has an infestation of malware. 1/5
Buy this app if you have burning desire to be hacked. The program has dozens of security vulnerabilities that they refuse to fix, including
A hack that is published on Google. This hack takes over the delivery bot and sends mail that is indistinguishable from the actual email structure. I have asked people to show me the difference between a hacked phishing email and a valid one. Out of 15 people no one could find a single difference. As a result my bank account was drained of 40,000 dollars. I did some research and found out on the same day this hacker stole over 1 million which is a drop in the bucket. A very prominent lawyer has said this amounts to criminal negligence. Furthermore a litigator has organized class action group of what amounts to Half a billion dollars in theft. This is a very dangerous application.
I strongly advise not using it. Soon criminal charges will be brought forward by the Feds if it hasn't already happened. Do not risk it with this app.
One of the better iOS apps. 9/10
Not sure how my company lived without this app 5/5
Great way for my small sales team to keep up to date and maintain accountability without constant phone calls and digging through email.
Love it! 5/5
Best app for staying connected!
Watch App doesn’t work 3/5
Good service overall but lacking detailed attention on the Watch App. Nothing loads on a brand new S3. I wish I could set my status from my watch as now I’m increasingly leaving my office with only my Apple Watch.
Slack is my favorite app, but... 2/5
My pervious review still stands but I have to remove two stars because the app now barely stays connected. Often I have to force quit the app once or twice before it will finally connect regardless of which wifi or cell connection. I love the new features that keep coming out but it's time for a major bug fix release!
I use slack every day to chat with friends and manage our podcast. It's great. We talk more than we ever have, gif integration is always fun. It's lightweight and works like magic. Seriously, just get slack.
Two things though keep it from 5 stars.
First. iPhone 6+/6s+ landscape mode. Guys, it's time. Really. The devices have been our years now, what's up?
Second. Pricing. We use the free plan and love it. But for the four of us the cheapest pro plan is nearly 500$/a. We don't need everything from pro, just archive search and if you're feeling generous stats. Seriously. A mid range would be great.
Hands down the best 5/5
Easy to work with, push notifications, LOTS of app integrations
Riddled with hackers and scammers 1/5
For the love of god please allow us to turn off/limit notifications and block spammers/scammers/hackers.
Best app ever 5/5
Every organization needs
Love it! 5/5
I manage lots of teams and now it's all from one place. Love the integrations too! 👏🏽
Great app but need improvement 4/5
This is a great app. I think it would be a huge improvement if it allows users to share screen on mobile.
Background Activity? 3/5
Love you, but this latest update is killing me; I was shocked to see under Battery that while I have 2 minutes onscreen, there’s 17 minutes background activity in the past 24 hours. This just started. I would really hate to remove the app from my phone, so can you take a peek under the hood and make an adjustment or two? Thanks!
Slower than most apps 2/5
Feels non native with constant stalls with regular interactions.
Great app! 5/5
Bugs are fixed, and so is my review.
Unread badge always says 28 1/5
I’ve signed out of all the Slack channels, but the unread badge still says “28”. So annoying.
Should we 5/5
Not helpful 1/5
I get what this app is trying to do, it's failing. It's not user friendly and the fact that my son's teacher is making us use it irks me.... ain't nobody got time for this.
Good team chat app 5/5
I like it
Very integrated 5/5
Once setup, it is pleasure to use.
Life saver 5/5
I absolutely love slack. I’m sure that I still haven’t used it to its maximum capacities but from what I do use, I feel like I couldn’t run my business without it. The only thing is uploading photos, especially from the iPhone, it either takes forever or doesn’t upload it at all, despite perfect connection and all, of course. Nevertheless I recommend Slack to everyone for business.

Great for team communication!
With iOS 11, paste no longer works [fixed] 4/5
You can’t paste into the message after iOS 11 update. Paste works into other apps, but not Slack. UPDATE: they fixed it. Upping from 1-star to 4.
Listen, it's a cool app and everything but it doesn't really stand out from other group chat apps and OH MY GOD IT HARDLY EVER SENDS NOTIFICATIONS??!! FIX. THIS.
You all are doing a great job! 5/5
Keep up the great work!
Great but doesn’t support RTL 4/5
Great app! Now works well on iOS11, But could you please add support for right to left languages like Arabic or Persian?
Great Communications tool 4/5
The best way to keep everyone on the same page without having to cut and paste or search through clogged email messages. Now have the ability to share information with the entire team or carry on private conferences. So simple and easy.
App has serious issues with iOS 11 2/5
Opens to a black screen many times. Very laggy. And unstable in iOS 11. Worked fine before.
Better than standard IM, Prone to losing contact with the server 4/5
Sure you can communicate with all your colleagues, in fact, theres no time left for regular email if you work in Slack full time.
App is still a bit quirky/clunky, with the "start a thread" dialog jumping in your face when you are trying to edit a post.
Communications with the server seem a bit ponderous, as if the protocol is too complex - sometimes it can't connect.
4 months later - more features, but still the thread dialog jumps in the way of editing a message, especially on touch screens, and it still loses its way "home" to the server occasionally. IE, you'll fire up the device, get on WiFi, check the browser is working, and Slack is still not connected. Sometimes it recovers, and sometimes the app needs to be restarted. Update - it doesn't seem to like latency, and kept losing/duplicating edits when connected over G3 service in the UK.
On the plus side, the audio/calling features are better, and the audio actually works through my Bluetooth headset instead of degenerating into squawks and squeals.
So yes, good to work with in most ways, and improving in quality, with a couple of minor drawbacks.
Cheeky and fun, and works well too 5/5
I work with dispersed teams over continents. Slack is ideal for keeping us all connected and sharing. And I love the humor it puts into mundane tasks. More slack.
Helping my team stay connected 5/5
Testing out with my team and so far it is improving our internal collaboration.
Loving it 5/5
