Liked it much better when it was 120 sports and now they turn it into this piece of Crap!!!! videos hardly ever work and plus it’s not easy to navigate Awful!!!
Useless now 1/5
By Lil Rock9
You can’t watch anything in this app unless you have a subscription. 120 sports was much better.
Great App!! 5/5
By Love Street West
It's about time! Live and On Demand Sports!, without the commercials and politics--Awesome!
Great App!!! 5/5
First off the selection of games is great. Access to what I want and not restricted to just the nationally broadcast games. The fact I can now follow sports that don't get the national coverage is awesome as well. Finally! Can only get better from here.
More Live Games and better speed 5/5
Sports Fan Must Have!!! 5/5
Great shows, live sports, and great hosts!! ESPN is getting too political!!
Was great, now doesn't work 1/5
When it was 120 Sports, the app worked great and was a 5 star app for me. Ever since the change to Stadium, I can rarely get a video to play. 1 star because it doesn't work.
Ruined 120 Sports 1/5
Used to be a great place to go for updates on favorites sports team. Now there's a subscription based account for minimal content and no NFL alliance.
Not to mention the app won't even work 100% of the time and the content is horrid.
Navigation is confusing and it just feels thrown together last minute.
Bring back the old platform. At least it was working.
Day old archive streamed superbly 5/5
Watched West Point vs WVU volleyball. Video stream was steady with great audio. Wish Big 12 Conference was included with the other four conferences available on Stadium sports network. Do prefer Big Ten sports network because btn2go supports chromecast, has FF, edits archived games for brevity, but I pay $10 a month for it. Impressed with Stadium, good product and I expect they will grow and enhance their offerings.
This app simply does not work. 1/5
Great idea but the app was offline all day on Sat, 9/16. Unfortunately this was our first time trying to use the app.
This streaming app is terrible. Don't waste your breath downloading it because the games don't stream and only have an error message. Gave them a 1 star because I had to otherwise I would have given them a 0.
120 Sports Ruined by stadium 1/5
Stadium has completely ruined the 120 sports app. This app used to be a very enjoyable experience that I looked forward to every day but with the new stadium takeover and format it has made this app unbearable to use.
Fix your app! 1/5
Your live streams on Facebook have been spotty, your website live streams have been without audio, video locks up, and the videos after live takes too long to watch again. Going from Livestream.com to this product is a massive downgrade!
Good content 4/5
This is a new live sports app backed now by Sinclair broadcasting and a replacement of ASN, (American sports Network) as they've taken a more digital based streaming route, rather than the traditional TV network. (Even though you can still view Stadium programming on TV, if you live in and Sinclair market).
I'm sure they will make improvements to Stadium over time to enhance the viewing experience. It appears to just be in beta testing still because of the lack of content and many links do not work. Until they can make Stadium profitable from advertising revenue, you're going to have to flip the bill for five bucks a month to watch their sports programming.
They messed with a good formula and messed it up, it's a cluttered mess now to find everything, and once you do the videos do not load
Total waste of time 1/5
Stunning that they charge a subscription for this crap. If your idea of game of the week is JMU, Liberty, Lafayette, South Dakota State...etc... then this is the app for you. I don't see much broad appeal in this other then to charge for small schools and limited fan bases. App is making itself look big time, but just doesn't have the value for a subscription.
Stadium ruins 120 Sports App 1/5
By Triple Bs
Your app has a lot of issues. Most of the time videos won't play and finding news is disorganized. The 120 Sports App gave me the latest news fast and cleanly. Stadium is ok for live reports but when I have 10 minutes to get caught up on sports news this doesn't work. I'll watch ESPN if I want to get live reporting. I wouldn't even consider paying for the premium service because haven't shown that the app can deliver a good experience.
Awesome App for Sports Fans 5/5
By Oh Hey LJ
The new Stadium app is sleek, sexy, and easy to use. I love being able to filter by my favorite teams and conferences to watch all their LIVE and archived games. Awesome job...cannot wait to see the updates keep coming!
Why mess with what works? 1/5
120 Sports was always simple and entertaining, something that I watched almost every day. Now the interface is much more confusing, and the content is lackluster. Go back to the old system!
Free quality sports coverage and live games! No complaints! 5/5
By Jimmy Mac Attack
Awesome app! Streams are great quality and breath of fresh air from the same old sports stuff you get everywhere else. And no cable subscription needed for live games and content? Sold. Interested to see where this app goes!
No hockey?! 1/5
Immediately deleted after not seeing anything on the Buffalo Sabres.
Only obscure streaming 1/5
They don't really offer any live streams that anyone wants to see. Not even prime time college/pro football games. Don't waste your time.
Confusing...why mess with 120 Sports 1/5
I liked watching 120 Sports segments on weekends. Great way to get some commentary from entertaining hosts. Now it's just a confusing app with live sports, videos and commentary intermixed. Main page has several rows, one labeled 'Must See', other labeled 'Featured.' Shouldn't these be the same? Also, can't you just have a Section labeled 120 Sports with the commentary videos so people who like that format can still watch commentary? I watched 120 Sports for about 2 years, the switch to Stadium just lost me after 15 confusing minutes. I'll check back in a month and hope for some fixes that make the app more user friendly, but I have a feeling the app isn't staying on my iPad for long. Too bad.
Don't waste your time 1/5
You won't find the games you are looking for and the information videos are old, irrelevant more like a time filler on ESPN. Trying to navigate through the content only results in repeat exposed to the same junk. Good luck.
So happy to watch my team every weekend. Thank you for this very manageable app!!
Live sports 5/5
Love the access to live games and sports news plus highlights from my favorite teams.
Doesn't include all teams of pro sports in favorites 1/5
By Scottley Crüe
If you're going to show highlights of a user's favorite teams and then you don't have one of the said teams, that's a major fail. Already saw in another review an NHL team is missing - the Charlotte Hornets (you know, MJ's team) are missing on the NBA side. It's clear tis group is not taking taking this seriously if they can't get all of the teams from the major sports listed.
Very cool 5/5
Love I can finally watch my Villanova!! Love the highlights.
Such a great app. I can watch all of my favorite college games from football to water polo to volleyball!
Live games 5/5
Nice to watch live college games on the go, I like being able to catch up with my favorite professional teams as well.
Overly complex and inefficient 1/5
By Da Rator
120 sports was for beer drinking morons but this Stadium app tries to outdo itself with a mess of content and issues with loading and buffering videos.
VERY DISAPPOINTED 1/5
This app is a JOKE download it and found the game I wanted to watch set a reminder(never did such a thing) and to TOP it off game not showing anymore on here to watch waist of time and effort.
No it wants a rating before review can be posted. It's totally not worth a rating
Excellent streaming quality and selection of live games 5/5
Very crisp and continuous live stream; love that there are more than just live football games and you can watch a wide range of Olympic sports. On demand video is also clutch.
By Sherry Martha
Horrible...only info videos.
P. U.....Pew! 1/5
This "Sports App" is SO just recycled, one-up videos and the Premium service is really no better!
No written stories 1/5
This app of an exact opposite of the athletic. Videos only. All bad
Team Missing 1/5
No Toronto Maple Leafs? And no MLS. Not much of a sport app yet
Can't stand ads 1/5
By Forza Dolce
Downloaded it and first thing I saw when I opened the app was a pop up ad. 2nd thing I did was delete the app. Never using it again.
Nice app with big issue 2/5
You get a notification about your team or sport you are following. You tap on the notification to go check out more and it either takes you to a random video or loads the video and quickly backs out to another video. It's annoying and makes you not even want to follow through on the notifications because you never know if you're actually going to see more of that notification. This needs to be fixed.
Good Sports News Content 4/5
Good stuff. They have hired plenty of people and the production is fine. If your looking for an alternative to Sportscenter because you hate cable, look no further.
The alerts are broken 3/5
Great app ... But when prompted to open up a video from an alert, it starts but then completely blacks out and you are sent to a completely different video, usually about what is trending.
Great app 5/5
I love using this app. It's informative but quick and interesting. It's like if ESPN weren't filled with politics and garbage.
Great for cord cutters 5/5
We cut pay tv off over 2 years ago and haven't regretted once. The biggest adjustment was sports news and highlights. 120 Sports filled that void nicely. And since then they broadened to tape delayed games, additional shows. Great app and don't miss the "other" channel at all.
Hire 120 More Analysts 3/5
Awesome little video sports news app. The instant video access to replays or whatever is trending in the sports word makes it fun. Where this app falls laughably short is on the commentary. I don't think it's necessarily the reporters fault. I notice the same guy that's analyzing my favorite NFL team is also analyzing every other 31 teams. Same thing with the guy analyzing my favorite NBA team, he's also analyzing every other 29 teams. And sometimes the same guy is analyzing every single team from the 3 major leagues (NFL, NBA, NHL). That's just plain being spread too thin and it shows. I don't know about the other teams but when they comment on my favorite teams (whom I follow religiously) some of the comments are way off, to the point I feel embarrassed for them. I can only jump to the conclusion since the analyst are off base when they cover my teams, it must be the same when they comment on other teams. Hire more reporters #120Sports
Daily fantasy basketball 1/5
Fantasy hour for basketball is terrible now. Deleting this!!!
Love everything about it, highly recommended. One thing, if I click something and I get out without pausing it, it won't stop playing until the video ends. Otherwise great app. I'm lovin' it👍
Great app 5/5
Love the 120 daily recaps and look-aheads
Day 1 Review 1/5
By Jim W III
First day with app... Immediately Follow NY Rangers among other favs. Click them to read about their chances against TB in last years semis! Day 2 will likely involve a Dancing X on my phone.
Love the content and the engineering! Awesome all 5/5
By Derek greenberg
I was fortunate enough to bump into someone that partners with 120Sports and he enlightened me on this app that I may had otherwise not have found. The way the app is designed is easy to use. I love how I can get the content/entertainment in quick bits, I guess that's why they call it 120(seconds).
The commentators are charismatic and I genuinely enjoy opening this app on a daily basis.
Needs some games 3/5
A good sports site but needs something to involve the fan
