Love the content and format of the magazine, and the app delivers with snappy journalism and a sleek UI.
Best News App. Available 5/5
By Ken daswall
I have subscribed in the past to Newsweek and Time and was very disappointed with lack of current news and only essays written on current news feeds.
The Week is non- objective and focuses on the real headlines
Twice the view in half the time 5/5
This magazine does with many aspire to but few achieve: offers a broad spectrum of ideas in a concise, intelligent, insightful method. It informs well maintaining editorial integrity to present both sides of the spectrum. It for you are looking for more ammunition, to simply drink more Kool-Aid, pick another stand.
Latest version is a step backwards 5/5
New version does not remember last read position. Previous version did. Why the change? The lost functionality makes for a lot of wasted time. I hope it is fixed soon.
Half step forward three steps back 2/5
No clue what was wrong with the previous way of downloading content but the latest version no longer remembers your reading location. That's not acceptable!! Please fix! ASAP!
New version doesn't remember your place 3/5
I usually stick to the iPad version since the iPhone version doesn't remember your place. With the latest update, the iPad forgets where you are now too. Frustrating.
Great news magazine, great app 5/5
I've been reading The Week just about cover to cover for years now, and the app makes it easier to read on the run, on my iPhone. I like it!
By Stone E Countenance
An excellent summary each week.
The best source of news. Just one dollar per week.
Love it 5/5
Excellent summary of week's news . . . 4/5
Brief, well-written, thorough, enjoyable way to keeping apprised of the week's news.
Great news recap 5/5
Love reading The Week magazine and app. Great way to read different views of the news in a concise, effective method of delivery.
Good quick read 5/5
By The Zagman
Concise, humorous, on the spot.
Love this app! 5/5
I've been reading The Week since it was in press years ago. Love that it has move with the times to mobile.
App good, service unreliable 3/5
The app is one of the quicker to navigate magazine apps I have. Well done. However, several times in the last two months I have unable to download new issues due to problems with their servers which lar for a few days at a time (I know this because I can't download new issues [it just hangs] or log in with my credentials). Unreliable service.
Wonderful source of concise summary of what's happening in the world! 5/5
Look forward to it each week!
All the news that's fit to print 5/5

By PAPA 44
Excellent source of news from all over the world and with different political view points.
Worth every cent! 5/5
Not only is this a great way to get a condensed view of what the media and the public are thinking about world events in both the USA and throughout Europe, it's an easy and attractive read. I appreciate the objectivity and the sense of humor, too. Keep it up!
Great Magazine 5/5
By Rated poor
Salient parts of news articles and issues succinctly written. Love to get the view points from the conservative right and liberal left as well as the moderate view. I feel more appraised of issues after having read the Week. I prefer reading the magazine on my iPad however I miss the crossword puzzle that comes with the printed edition.
The BEST! 5/5
Clear and concise reporting, uncolored by million dollar advertisers and PAC's...I read it faithfully, and have given subscriptions as gifts, that become the best, most appreciated gifts of the year!
The only thing I read consistently 5/5
I love it, read it cover to cover, every week. Perfect blend of what I need to know, want to know, enjoy reading. Presents a variety of opinions. Far better than Newsweek or Time ever were.
My favorite magazine! 5/5
The best of everything.
Top notch! 5/5
The most helpful for keeping up with news of everywhere! The app is clear, neat, and the easiest to use. Thanks!

My Go-To For News 5/5
By lc harrison
The Week summarizes news and viewpoints from around the world and delivers it by weekly magazine and online. I get both versions. If you want to keep up with current events, get this app.
Great News Digest App 4/5
Clear, incisive, articles that are written with references to other publications. Really like that you can get current event info this easily. Doesn't appear to be biased so far as I can tell.
I've subscribed to the Week for years and love having on my iPad as well as paper.
When my mother and father were alive I would visit them, go to dinner, and always be amazing at their broad awareness of issues. And, they were in their 80s. Then I discovered their secret - The Week! I had to subscribe just to keep up! I love The Week.
Great content, crappy app 4/5
I love the pro/con views provided on the issues. Unfortunately, the app decides after about the 3 or 4th time to not download anymore. I have to delete and reinstall to get it to work. A bit of a pain in the rear.
Content 10, App 3 4/5
Can't wait to read this mag, and yet often what glitch will show up this time... Worth the hassle, though patience with teething pains is wearing thin...
It's not like it used to be 2/5
I was a subscriber when the magazine was conservative but I did not renew because it leans too far to the left. Did George Soros buy it out?
Great reading! 5/5
Great app on iPad!
Very solid app 4/5
By Mike P67
I enjoy reading The Week on-line, and have not had any problems at all with the app.
Best News 5/5
The Week is absolutely the best. No bias, wonderfully edited, an illuminating, efficient read.
Great updated app 5/5
This app is much better than the previous version. Much easier navigation from article to article within a section.
Anxiously await my copy 5/5
I am mainly in love with this magazine because it features both sides of the political spectrum on current issues. However, the magazine also contains a variety of other interesting aspects – health, finance, houses on the market, etc.
Most insightful and interesting news site there is. Beautifully organized. Altogether a pleasure.
Continuous freezes, reboot nor reloading the app makes any difference. Horrible testing/quality control.
After upgrading to a newer iPad, it's better but still crashes. Last week I had to remove the app and reload it because the latest edition never arrived.
I enjoy the content, but the app is subpar...
Great magazine and great iPad app 5/5
This is my favorite magazines and the electronic version on the iPad is one of the best I have used.
Great publication! 5/5
My top choice for news 5/5
The Week magazine is my top choice for news because it provides a weekly summary of current events pulled from a variety of sources. I read every issue in print or through this app.
Big fan of the Mag. Big fan of the iPad app. 5/5
My favorite news magazine. I did not like reading it on their website nor on my iPhone but I quite enjoy it I'm my iPad. Just start at the beginning of an issue and work your way through.
So many news organizations have a very narrow perspective or have way more detail on everything. The Week is a well written over view of everything pulling from all perspectives and tying them together clearly. If you want more information, follow the links and dig in.
It is the best way to stay up to date on the world.
I highly recommend it.
The Week is perfect for my weekly update. 5/5
Where else are you going to find news from the right and left sides.
The Week 5/5
Great news magazine. Highly recommended.
Great magazine 3/5
I love The Week. My problem is with the app which is very well designed save for one major flaw: it doesn't save my place. If I'm reading an article and close the app, coming back to it later, I have to reopen the particular issue and navigate to the particular article again. And then again. And again.
