Content is fine but the app is buggy. Show volume and commercials volumes are crazy different levels. Never remembers where you left off on a show; sometimes it just doesn't function. Very frustrating app.

I understand they need to have some ads with a free ap. But to show 8 ads at a time and to be the same ones over and over. Sometimes it's the exact same one shown three times in a row. They are so annoying that I will never buy the product just because their ads drove me crazy.

It's unfortunate that out of both cable subscriptions I pay for I still cannot watch the tv shows I want to (as advertised all over TLC) with this garbage app. It seems as if they haphazardly choose which shows they will allow and none of the shows that have aired weeks ago are available to watch.
False advertising, too many ads when you can finally watch a show and it's just a waste of time.

The programming around the ads appears to have taken front seat to that of the actual content... which makes it nearly impossible to watch anything in its entirety. Casting is unstable, ads get stuck and the video freezes forcing a restart which doesn't save your space so you have to fast forward to the estimated place only to be hit with all the ads all over again. My advice: if you want to have effective advertising get the product to work first and get it to a point where people are happy to sit through the ads, and build them in so they function properly and store which ones you've seen on which video. I've given up and moved on to another network.

OMG with the adds 1/5
So trying to watch this app on my smart cast and works good then goes dark you can hear the program but can't see anything so you disconnect from smart cast and every time this happens the app shuts down and you have to start episodes from beginning and you have to watch add after add after add.... I watched the adds and then have to watch more adds... get ride of the adds...

TLC doesn't respect CALM act 1/5
The app mostly works fine; a little glitchy when waking the Apple TV from sleep. My biggest problem is that they are BLASTING the volume on their commercials and it makes watching TV beyond obnoxious! I encourage everyone to file complaints with the FCC to stop TLC from the practice.

Way too many ads anytime I try to skip to a certain time in a show I left off it gives 3 minutes of ads and then 5 minutes later another 3 minutes of ads wouldn't be a big deal if they were different but they're the same ads over and over again.
It's been a long time now and there still hasn't been an update that will allow Verizon fios customers who pay for this channel (as well as a few other and their corresponding apps) to sign in and watch shows as they become available. I don't watch actual tv so I guess I'll be canceling since I can't take advantage of the TLC subscription in any way

Ongoing problems with captions 3/5
There are persistent problems with getting close captioning to work with this app... If I watch directly on my iPhone, captions are available, but when I attempt to stream the show to Chromecast, the captions disappear.

I have to log into my provider a number to times and constantly get the same error message and I am unable to access any of the shows. I deleted and rebooted my phone and still not able to watch any of the shows. I love TLC and all of the shows but I wouldn't expect to have these many issue when trying to access your shows.

Forced to watch 3 minutes of the same commercials over and over. If you pause the app and come back, there is an error telling you to close out and start over. Which forces you to watch the stupid commercials again. Not able to fast forward.
Trouble with xfinity 3/5

Do any other xfinity user receive an error message when trying to sign in, therefore preventing them from watching any of the locked shows? I'm not sure why this all of a sudden started happening but clarity from other people would be much appreciated. Otherwise I can clear up some space on my phone

My cable provider is showing however I'm getting an error message when I try to log in.

While everything else works, I can't log into the Xfinity TV provider! Which means I can't watch anything anymore. I tried re installing it but again, it didn't work! Please fix this!

1. I guess....it's alright. I was going to watch season three of I Am Jazz, and I just had got the app. I didn't know the TV information, so I asked my dad. He chose Xfinity, and it said there was an error. I just redownloaded the app, so let's see how it goes!!!!!
2. There are so many ads. I'm sick of being 10 minutes in to my show, and a bunch of ads (in all it "ads" up to 3 minutes. Get it? Ads instead of adds? Lol) that is annoying. *this one was when I had the TLC app a while ago.

The app will not let me log in so I can't watch anything. I click sign in and it does the "loading" circle and then nothing happens.
I have many network apps on both my phone and my Roku, and of all them, TLC is by far the worst. The app kicks me out probably every 5 minutes, than I have to rewatch the 3 minutes of commercials just to get to the point where I was before. As much as I love 90 day fiancé, I don't love it enough to go through all of that. For example- I just attempted to watch an episode and no joke it has kicked me out five times. I've probably seen more commercials than I did the actual show. Someone is clearly not doing their job on the app development side of things. Get it together TLC!

I love the variety of shows on this app but there are way too many commercials. About every 4 to 5 minutes there are commercials that last for two minutes and 26 seconds.

This app works very well on my iPad but when I use it on my iphone it's so blurry I cant even watch it, which is pretty disappointing.

The app doesn't play episodes in a row, you have to manually click the next episode which is inconvenient. It's hard to look at the lists of shows
