Frequently wrong about train times 1/5
Do not trust if you are in a hurry
Edit: Still wrong about trains. It has been wrong about the E train everyday for the last 2 weeks. It's amazingly inaccurate. Seems to work better with the bus.
This app is incredible for D.C. Metro 🙌🏻🙌🏻 5/5
My wife and I spent the week in D.C. and this app was SO great for figuring out the best routes to take, which trains to take and it which direction, and for finding Capitol Bikeshare. Seriously, without this app, my trip would have been quite stressful trying to figure out which train would be the best one to take.
Waste of space and time 1/5
Literally never works, the times are never right. Like what is this app good for???
Please stay updated 5/5
By angry bus rider
Can wmata please keep this app & on time with bus times? I've missed my bus to many times depending on this app
Accurate and easy to use 5/5
I've been using this app for several months, and have found it accurate and easy to use. The best feature is the quick look at nearby transit; I just open the app and get a complete list of nearby options and the schedule.
Also appreciate the alerts options that let me configure/ know when I should leave to catch a nearby transit option.
I'm indifferent about the trip planner; it works fine, but it's not as easy as Google.
Now reliably crashing w 10.3.3 1/5
I liked Embark better, but it left us. Transit used to fill the void, though it's a little form-over-function, but it was workable. Now, with 10.3.3, it is no more. Will update review when it's fixed.
Love it 5/5

Have been using this app the past few days in NYC and it's gotten me around safely & reliably
Very pretty, not so usable 2/5
By NoUse ForANick
Aside from the usual glitches with the widget there's one big problem: no way to remove the giant uber advertisement taking up space both in the app and the widget.
Transit app 1/5
Off hours mostlyshow wrong times. Out of Service buses included in bus runs throw us out off schedule.
Not real time 2/5
I'm from NYC. Tried this app on 4 different occasions and each time it was at least 3-4 minutes off during the work week. If you're from NY 3-4 min is a long time. I'm trying it right now for the weekend and it's still not accurate. Two things you have to consider when using this app: 1, the times are based off a pre-made schedule. 2, NYC MTA is never on time.
THANK YOU FOR THIS APP 5/5
MTA website is unreliable, this app is amazing and makes my life so much easier
Essential for commuting 5/5
Absolutely indispensable app in the city. Has been a huge lifesaver for helping me plan my commutes in Boston. Only complaint: would like to see it work a little better with MWRTA routes.
Works in NYC 5/5
no good for underground lines 1/5
This app is only good for the above ground trains. If you rely on this app for trains like the D train you will literally miss any commitment you have to go to because it is never accurate and even when subway service is normal the D train takes so long to come you can almost die waiting for it
Not accurate 1/5
The app is good for directions and mapping out a public transit rout but, for some reason it never has the correct times. The time busses or trains are to arrive are never correct and it has caused me to be late to work every time I relied on it. I downloaded a new app to see if the arrival times of the busses and trains are accurate.
Like no other 5/5
Update: crashes on launch now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
After the latest update this app crashes all the time. It also is not consistent with info and buses keep disappearing and reappearing
Not accurate 1/5
Not very useful!!! When it says bus arrives in 2 minutes and check back another 2 minutes later, it says 5 minutes and then 10 minutes.... tried multiple time... and so I gave up!
Not Accurate 2/5
By Craig who needs a nickname
Be prepared to be waiting for your bus for about 15 minutes and still be late by your arrival time. Not sure if its transit or COTA but something isn't syncing up here. Just go with COTA's bus schedule online for more accurate times.
This is by far the best general purpose public transit app online. It's thoughtfully designed, and I love the "Go" mode which gives you audio cues of which stop to get off at.
gets me where I want to get to 5/5
great idea, great execution. 10/10 would recommend.
Sure, but... 3/5
By amuse me
I like the fact that they're trying to do directions. And the route they come up with makes sense if the busses actually ran on time, the subway didn't arrive early or late (ever), and there was never a need to walk between different types of transportation... So basically, as is, the directions are useless to use to calculate/arrive at a specific time (or in the ballpark of that time).
barely useable 3/5
Reason rating for three stars is that the app used to be great however the app is no longer sized correctly for iphone 6. Current the bottom of the screen with all functions are pretty much cutoff. attempted an restart and fresh install to no avail still the app did not resize to fit the screen.
Subway times 2/5
You'd do a better job taking random guesses when it comes to subway trains arriving. They have a perfect record of never being close.
Best app EVER!! 5/5
This is my favorite app ever and it makes my life easier. Seriously the best app I've ever downloaded.
The most useful app ever conciveced 5/5
Love the app, and the patch notes. Stay awesome guys.
One of the best apps for transportation 5/5
This is better than apple and google maps in NYC.

Delays and bugs 2/5
By Rhys Griffith
Since the last update or two the app has become less responsive to the busses and trains, I bring up the bus times in my area then it loads. I look at the times and it says 10mins to the next bus. I go to the bus stop and viola! no bus. I check the time again and now it says 17 mins. This scenario has also occurred several times (both while I stay at home checking the times for my girlfriend while she goes to the stop, and also when I go to the stop). It has made us late on several occasions and is becoming quite unreliable despite it's ease of use and showing where a bus is located. It's more than likely I'll be deleting the app very soon. I'm already testing and looking for a better, more reliable app as this one does not suffice.
The best public transportation app ever 5/5
Last year I moved to Bay Area. I tried many apps to use public transportation. Most of them were just garbage but this. This is the most useful app I have ever used. I high recommend Transit.
The best transit app I've seen. Excellent real-time updates. Very intuitive yet full of functionalities. Love it! (San Francisco user.)
App stinks- timing of transit way off 1/5
This app stinks, don't waste your time. The usability is 3rd world and the information couldn't be more inaccurate. The timing of the busses and trains is out of sync with the mbta website (which also stinks) but even worse it is out of sync with the actual trains and busses which it tracks. This app is guaranteed to make your commute even more frustrating than it already is.
If I could give no stars I would. Worst app experience yet, and the mbta is worse, if that's possible.
Love this app on iPhone and Apple Watch 5/5
Works well in DC and MD. I use it for both DC Metro trains and Maryland's contracted commuter buses. No complaints, but would love to see the number of cars added to the Metro trains.
Transit vehicle approaching on map not working like it used to :'-( 3/5
I have always loved this especially because I used to be able to see my transit vehicle coming on the map (key word used to) and it would be very helpful to see the location of my transit vehicle on the map before I would leave my house this way I would know how far from my street was the location of the transit vehicle and it would help me determine weather I should leave my house or wait for the next vehicle so that I didn't have to be sitting around at a bus station for too long but ever since the last update it stopped working and doesn't show live transit vehicle in map unless I'm actually sitting inside the transit vehicle but before it didn't used to do that to me because it would show live transit vehicle in map even while I was at home before sad but true :'-(
Too many bells and whistles for a simple service 1/5
By Big J A Mac
Developers should have focuses on making the app accurate than having so many functions. This waste of time app is far too complicated and is wrong most of the time
Pretty Great 4/5
This app serves all of my needs quite nicely. It provides pretty good instructions for navigating transfers and stops, and the real-time information I have found to be very accurate.
However, I have had several occasions where this app has frozen, crashed, or become otherwise unusable. I would say this is a priority to fix. Additionally, I would love to see audio guided walking directions.
My current favorite app 5/5
By Trolley Molly
As someone else just posted, it has earned a coveted place on my 2nd homepage screen. (The rest of my transit and travel apps are all back on page 7 or so.)
It's basic, seamless, and has an easy-to-read interface that isn't all junked up. It's simply does what it's supposed to and does it well.
Definitely should download, great app 5/5
I'm suprised this APP is free, it's such a useful app. I didn't even know I could get times for the train or commuter rail on a transit app. If you don't have this app, you're missing out!
By Monzy Malone
The most important feature of a transit app is to inform riders of the times busses arrive at a particular stop. This app provides inaccurate times. The times listed are not based on realtime information and seem completely arbitrary.

I always read release notes bc amusing 5/5
Awesome app. Always helpful. Accurate majority of the time except for when there's delays of course. Other than that I've recommended it to family and friends 👌🏼
Works For Beginning and end of lines 3/5
App was off by 2 minutes for the Q at 83rd street so not bad. I think it was close in the 7 trains at hudson Yard. The ACE was 8 minutes off at Penn station which. Which leads me to believe this app does not follow any slight delays and sticks to the MTA daily schedule that is laid out. There is no actual tracking of the trains themselves. Good for when you are getting on at the begging of a line tho. Easy to understand and navigate.
Great Pittsburgh transit app! 4/5
Utilized daily to get anywhere in the city of bridges. The addition of bike share a few updates ago is fantastic! If they could just optimize the route for the most "bike friendly" passage, this app would be perfect.
Best update release notes! 5/5
Whether you take the train or not, download this app! The release notes are awesome!

Bug Fixes? 1/5
By Roger Alford
Minor Crowdsource Bug Fixes aren't fixed when the update can't be installed.
Love it! 5/5
It's so handy for realtime transit departures, and it's officially the only way to get real time departure info for Monterey Salinas Transit! They're great!
Pretty Good App 5/5
By By c# software developer
This app works great. Now if COTA will get their bus system fixed. The company is run by incompetent management that does not listen to their customers to fix the 2L bus line.
Seattle Ghost Buses 3/5
Generally a great app, but a couple of gripes
1. Ghost buses: Seattle metro doesn't have much in the way of consistency and so I would like to rely on the real time updates. You can see the supposed buses in real time on the map. However, often when Metro seemingly completely misses a route it seems the app tries to insert imaginary ghost buses. I can watch them drive by on the app while I continue waiting another 15 min for my bus hoping the next one is a real bus
2. Missed suggested routes: as I wait for bus A that was suggested, bus B pulls up. It was never even on the list of busses for my route yet I know it goes to the exact same stop.
3. Add Sound Transit to tracked buses. Not sure if this is a ST request or this app.
