TripCase app reviews

  • Travel itinerary at a glance 5/5

    By GreatBeerHunter
Been using this app for the last few years to manage my personal and business travel. I love this app! Great way to keep all of my travel items organized in one place and notify friends/family about itinerary changes as they happen. Hasn't let me down yet. :)
  • Best trip planner 5/5

    By rbznfl
I love this vs kayak and others
  • A Wealth of Information 5/5

    By IrishEyes
I have had better luck with this app notifying me of flight changes than the airline’s own app. It frequently lets me know of gate changes before the airline does.
  • A must have for Travel 5/5

    By tativanvelzor
This app keeps my itinerary, keeps me updated on my flight and gate changes. Connected to other travel apps it has become essencial to my travels. Love and recommend.
  • Love TripCase but please fix glitches 4/5

    By MamaCheek
Love TripCase but please fix the glitches. I can’t delete trips anymore. I need to be able to manage changes. Thanks.
  • No way to contact support 2/5

    By jjetttt
There’s NO way to contact support so I am writing this review in hopes that someone at the company will see it. Please provide us access to support. Simply reading through a general questions that other people asked, often does not pertain to the problem you are encountering. For instance, there are glitches with the Apple Watch complication. When expanded it has flight gate info, but on the watch face it says Gate TBD. If I could include screen shots, it would be quick and easy to understand, but again, there’s no way to communicate with support.
  • Best of the Best! 5/5

    By bgill19
If you’re like me, you’ve seen the various travel management apps and, frankly, they all had positives and negatives. For some time, I had three on my phone, finally narrowing down to two. Then, I had a ridiculous travel day. My starting leg was delayed over two hours, putting my connection out of the question. When I landed, I checked TripCase out of habit and, lo and behold, the system had kept track of my connection and sent updated times for departure. It was delayed and, long story short, I made it because I knew it was still there and what gate to go to. No other app updated, in fact, even the airline app did not track as well as TripCase. Finally, after landing and getting my car, I clicked on the hotel, navigate with Waze and away I went. 100%, this is the best, most complete and easiest app to use. Look no further, this is it.
  • What happened to “weather” ? 4/5

    By Farinco
I’ve really come to depend on this app over the past several years as I travel extensively. In the past couple of months however, when I try to look at the upcoming weather for cities in my itinerary, I get an error message stating that this feature is no longer supported in my current version of the app. I’m running the current version and would really like this feature restored.
  • Falls short 1/5

    By Losf
Unlike Tripit, when I forward an confirmation email from Sheraton to the TripCase import email address, and Tripcase doesn't even recognize it!? The app description was so promising, yet fails at the basics. Seems they are more interested in pushing the services of its partners and affiliates then the consumer.
  • Not working properly anymore 2/5

    By zwood99
Used to be a good app but no longer. When I try and delete a trip I get an error message and the trip won’t delete. When I forward an email to trip case with changes in the flight times the “new” trip just copies the arrival and departure times of the old trip.
  • This App has changed / Do Not Water your time 1/5

    By DJ in TN
My wife and I travel for our jobs and have used Trip Case for years to consolidate our travel information. In Jan 2018, tripcase no longer accepts the travel itineraries that we forward from airlines and hotels. Instead, they send me emails that thx itineraries are no longer entered and that we must do it manually. Heck with that - this App just lost its value. Do not waste your time, this App is now worthless.
  • Missing Record Locator Number 3/5

    By Frustrated iPad user 199
I find this app to be better than its major competitor, however it’s ridiculous to have to dig through emails to find my record locator number when I’m checking in for my flight. I forward the same airline confirmation email to TripCase and TripIt and TripIt finds the number so why can’t TripCase? It’s a vital piece of information! Please fix!
  • Disappointed 1/5

    By Just Gma
Wanted to use and like this ap but could never get past their sign in pages. Could not use fingerprint access and there was no other way to access data. Too many security screens just to get to ap.
  • Needs iPhone X Update! 1/5

    By iceicejick
TripCase needs to be optimized for iPhone X! It would make the app much better. Thanks.
  • Forwarded trip confirmation... 2/5

    By Y0K5
Yet the information (car rental, hotel) does not appear in tripcase (online or app), even though an email confirmed that the info is updated. This happens once in a while which makes it annoying. Also, confirmation number does not appear in the trip. I have to input the info.
  • Missing Airlines 3/5

    By purplealf
I love this app, however I travel in the Caribbean/Bahamas often and there are airlines not supported by the app - Western Airlines is one example.
  • One job to do 1/5

    By spotone55
It has one job to and fail to do it. Sync with phone app. And it doesn’t do it. I have complex trip in my tripcase phone app and watch app just saids ‘no active trip’.
  • Use every time you travel to be safe 5/5

    By CodyO9118
I travel at least 5 times per year and stay in hotels every time. I use trip case to keep me on time, keep my travel and hotel info all in one spot and it provides a stable and easy traveling experience because of its ease of use and all of its cool features like notifications about when to check in and flight changes. It's essential to my family and I when traveling. I recommend it!
  • Love it but...... 3/5

    By FltEngCPO
Only giving it three stars right now as they need to update it for the latest iOS updates. I have not been able to open the app since I updated to iOS 11. Please hurry and fix this as I use this app almost every week.
  • Icon 4/5

    By Pqqqw
Like the app but I lost the icon. How do I get it back
  • Update killed app 1/5

    By Mjs597
Are used to love this app, but the latest update killed it! The circle just keeps spinning on opening. To the developer, please fix ASAP!
  • Just mediocre at best 2/5

    By aglobetrotter
I have been trying for an hour to confirm my hotel in Dublin Ireland on this app. I can’t seem to get it to find a fairly significant hotel… The Marriott… Ha ha. I think it doesn’t like international travel nothing all seem to load. The app just spins.I think this is a case where execution does not meet expectations.
  • Latest update just a blank screen 1/5

    By 4DeadJim
Not sure what they did, but the latest update is just a blank screen. No menus, no listing of trips. Is a shame, used to be a handy app for those that travel.
  • Almost perfect 4/5

    By Matt Brandon
I love this app. It is my go to app to organize my trips. It puts everything I need in one spot and adds my trips to my calendars. It is super easy to add trips. When the option to send in my itinerary and automatically fill in my details doesn’t work - and sometime it doesn’t - they’ve made it is super easy to add the trips. My only suggestion would be to allow users to access our trips offline. I often find myself in difficult locations like China where I can’t get online to check my trip details. I can’t access the Facebook login or even the internet at times and this means I can’t read my trip details. Please make this data accessible offline. I don’t mind storing my data on my phone.
  • Doesn’t sync! 1/5

    By obk1
The watch app doesn’t sync the information with the app on the iPhone. The phone app would show the actual gate number and the delays while the watch would still show TBD for the gate and the original departure time. What’s the point of having a watch app if you still need to look at your phone?
  • Love the app 5/5

    By David H in AZ
I definitely love the app. One of my top 8 apps (and I have about 100). You can send your confirmation e-mails from airlines or hotels or travel-related websites to TripCase (from ANY e-mail you have registered with them) and they will upload your itinerary to the app, literally within about a minute. You can combine trips into one trip if you want. My one critique is this: you can label the trips as you wish, and your new label shows up every place but the “carousel view”. I.e. you’ve got a trip planned to several cities in Montana and you want to call it your “Montana” trip, but if you’re flying into Spokane, the trip will still show up as “Spokane” in the carousel view even if you’ve labeled the trip “Montana.”
  • Great App but please fix share trip 3/5

    By LottiePlaysGames
Wonderful app - 5 Stars but lost one star because of glitch that won’t allow sharing itineraries and another star because the app hangs now.
  • Terrible at finding locations 2/5

    By ttiW nagoL
The function to add an address or search for an address is absolutely terrible. It is not intuitive at all and often says “no results found” if you enter the correct address. Good luck if you want to add an address that is not a major location.
  • Freezes 1/5

    By TYWashington
I used to be able to share my trips with people. Now, when I go to share trips, the app completely locks up and almost freezes my entire phone.
  • Very disappointed 1/5

    By HH373
Used to love this app but now you can only link a booking made through an approved travel agent -seriously ...??? Who even uses a travel agent anymore? It used to be so simple - just add the booking reference and boom - all the flight details were loaded. Now you have to forward an email from the same email address (so useless if you are a PA or spouse trying to do the setup) or manually add the details - why the huge step back? Very disappointing.
  • Great Trip Organizer 5/5

    By katotac
I’ve been using this app for a few years to organize all of my trips, plus my family and friends travel. I have everything I need at the tips of my fingers. I’ve tried other apps but this is by far the best one.
  • Used to be a great app. 1/5

    By phobaugh26
TripCase is the latest victim of the newest iOS update, (October 17’) One of the basic features of this program is the ability to notify others of your itinerary, the app now locks up., when ever to switch to the notification screen. Flat out embarrassing programmer glitch. The new features like receipts won’t even load up for test. Do not waste your time, the developers aren’t.
  • The best! 5/5

    By The Lomax
I travel extensively and sometimes have multi-city trips. I have been using this app for many years and it is the best! It keeps everything together and delays are updated in the app before they hit the board in the airport! A must have for the frequent traveler!
  • Unreliable 1/5

    By Myko1
Contacted customer service because my events are not listed in chronological order and never received a response. Tripcase website went down the night before my trip, so I wasn’t able to print my itinerary. Would not use this again!
  • Used to work great, but... 2/5

    By Rod Hardwick
I have used TripCase on my iPhone for several years with great results. Love the notifications of gate changes at the airport. However, I have repeatedly tried to add a booking and keep getting an error. Tried several times after confirming the record locator number. Even uninstalled and reinstalled the TripCase app, but to no avail. Had to manually enter my flights :(
  • Can't access using data 5/5

    By midrangedaveed
Great app but it can only be used on wifi. You can't even use data! Taking off 2 stars because of that. If the app allowed use for mobile dat along with wifi, 5 stars hands down! Update: my apologies for saying it can’t be used with data. User error 😐. It can be used with data so I now change my rating to 5 stars. Great app.
  • Unrefined and clunky 2/5

    By George Capote
Issues since I started using it: errors when I try to delete a trip, flights showing up in wrong order due to crossing the date line, aircraft information missing on some flights, impossible to add/change seats, for the past 10 minutes there’s just been a spinning circle animation on my trip page, same trip is entered as two separate trips even though the second flight confirmation is in between two flights in the first. Do you guys have QA?
  • Getting Slower 3/5

    By Oltmb
After the latest iOS 11 upgrade I noticed that the app was getting slower. It now takes much longer to switch between current and past trips. Not sure why this happened.
  • App is in different language 1/5

    By Mgreenie07
Can’t use the app at all because the app is actually in Japanese not English. You can’t navigate it at all unless you know how to read Japanese.
  • Stopped working 3/5

    By diddle puff
Wheel keeps spinning nothing happens since update. Was awesome... then could not get AA info anymore last month... now nothing...
  • Misdirected by Address for Hotel 1/5

    By MKHeath
The feature in the app that allows you to send your hotel’s address to your preferred GPS navigation provider on your cell phone has failed me twice. Both times the GPS coordinates that it sent to a different navigation apps that I use was more than 15 miles off the actual hotel address. On time this made a hotel arrival that was supposed to be at 11:45PM nearly a 1:30AM. There’s no warning until you Call up at what should be your hotel only to find an empty field on the side of the interstate service road.
  • My favorite travel app 5/5

    By Grimmgreen
Tripcase has been my longtime goto for both iPhone and Android. Occasionally it bugs out and deletes an entry right after you make it - but rarely. Not sure why the negative reviews...it’s free you cheapos!
  • Great app! 5/5

    By Harry9643751
I like this app so much I decided to update my review from 5yrs ago. I've been using it at least that long, and I really depend on it to keep track of my crazy travel schedule. I love that all I have to do is forward my confirmation email, and all the details are imported into the app. Much easier than when I used to "import" using my confirmation number. I have now installed a 2nd copy on my wife's phone so she can keep up with my travel as well. I also love that I can forward separate emails for hotel & flight reservations, and then merge them into a single trip within the app. My only complaint is that rental car info doesn't import correctly from the email. Hopefully that will get fixed.
  • Trip case is always offline 1/5

    By Cigar Jeff paradise
Maybe it doesn't like Apple phones but it doesn't like my Iphone6 and I have tried for a year to get it to work (die hard type of a guy). I travel a lot and it would come in handy
  • Love it. 4/5

    By shep1120
Will be better if they work the bugs out. Historical data, duplicate reservations, etc. Will continue to use it.
  • Disappointed 2/5

    By Rob 90027
On a recent trip I became very disappointed. First of all my friends that I wanted to keep notified were only sent links to create an account and only then could they see my information. I found it lacking that information could not be sent as a text, or I could not figure out how to do it. And last, airport updates, such as departure gates, were very slow to update, if at all. The first time I used the program I thought it was great, this time, not so. Please let me know when you fix these problems. Rob King
  • Mobile app doesn't let you see documents for a trip 2/5

    By mcedno
Why doesn't your mobile app let me see attached documents for a trip from my firm? I can easily see it on a desktop or laptop. Fix your bugs guys! This isn't rocket science. Make your mobile app behave and work the same as going to your website
  • Awesome! Great travel app 5/5

    By Lulu13331
I use TripCase for all my travel plans. It is accurate and updates quicker than the gate boards at airports sometimes. Just send them the confirmation email and it's uploaded to your account in seconds. This app was especially helpful during my 14 day trip across Europe. Five countries, 11 flights, no issues. The little tips and local etiquette are helpful and resourceful. I also enjoy being able to see if the seat next to me is taken prior to boarding (because honestly no one wants to sit next to a stranger).
  • Pretty good 5/5

    By D@ve512
I like the interface and it has always imported data correctly for me. Makes it easy to see the important data about your trip and doesn't bog you down with constant advertisements.
  • losing stars 2/5

    By geolehman
Update: Still not creating proper entries from Expedia. How sad. Another star removed. July to September is more than enough time to fix this. Previous: Can no longer create an itinerary from an Expedia itinerary? Oh, but I can manually make it! Well manually making it is not why I use Tripcase now is it?
