This company used to be Relay Rides and I had the worst customer service experience with them ever. They overcharged me for a car rental and we never saw the refund. They take the side of the car owner in all situations - even went as far as allowing the crazy car owner we dealt with to delete our honest review of them from their profile. I have been hoping a better car sharing app would come along but I won't be using Turo after finding out it used to be Relay Rides.

I came across this app when I was downloading AIRBNB and love it! I was able to find a BMW at a very affordable price for the week that I was in LA. It is easy to use and has a lot of vehicles

We tried Turo out for a week-long family trip to Cape Cod for 2 adults and 2 tonnage kids. Website is does decent job of explaining the AirBnB concept as applied to car rentals, and the app simplified the communication between us and the owner of the car we rented. For 5 days on the Cape, we had a full-size 2013 Chrysler 300 (leather & luxury interior) for less than half the cost of big name rental car companies. Glad we tried out this new rental option and would do it again.

I've rented my jeep about 125 times on Turo. I've never had any major problems and I've made nearly the entire price of the car back in 2 years. I've used it only once as the renter and everything went smooth as well. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a nice car to use for my wedding night as I had to fly in to the location. It's almost impossible to find a really nice car for a decent price from a traditional car rental company, but Turo made it easy to find a beautiful car. Great experience, great app!

So much better than renting cars for long term. Daily use and no overnight parking in Waikiki which is $30/night. Love this app. Like airBnb but for cars.

You're Screwed Even With Insurance 1/5
Worst customer service of all time. Paid for insurance when I borrowed a car. The car broke down and Turo expected me to wait for two hours for a tow truck to arrive then another two hours at the repair shop (yes, you have to go, they won't supply you a new car). You have to get the car diagnosed and then send a full report to Turo so they can decide if you're liable for paying to fix the broken car they gave you. These people are cancerous and will try to pit you against the person you borrowed the car from while they sit back and do nothing to help either of you. Don't use this service to borrow or rent your car, they are completely unreliable if anything bad happens even if you pay extra for their insurance protection.

Really love the Turo service and the app is 90% there. The constant logging out of my account info is just really annoying. Also, when you're looking at search results and you select one car to view, backing out from that should resume where you left off in your search result scrolling, not defaulting back to the top of the search results list every time. Minor complaints though. Really liking the new way to rent a car.
I had a great experience with Turo!! The App works good with a slight headache for my brother in law. I rented a car and invited both my brother and brother in law and they both rented Sting Ray Corvettes and we Cruised thru Orlando Florida and turned heads everywhere.. such a rush and blast.. thanks Turo!!😉👍🏽
Tried to make me reset my Facebook password. I wouldn't use this app I think it's just trying to hack your accounts.

I literally have to enter my password every time I open the app. Because I take security seriously I don't have a memorized password. Turo could make it easy and add the password extension like thousands of other apps but that's too much I guess? So basically I've stopped using the app, thus hurting my response time. Why have I been a customer for 5 years? I'm an idiot

Terrible company with bad customer service! I rented a Range Rover when I got the car it had a paper dealer licenses plate. I tried to look past that but when I drove the car the brakes did not work. When I contacted customer service they were no help and acted like brakes not working was my fault!! I will never use this app again!!

Their customer service is APPALLING. They charged me a cancellation fee when I had to cancel because the owner couldn't be bothered to check his messages at time of pick up. When I wrote in to challenge this, they replied multiple times in a sanctimonious and sarcastic manner. Don't bother contacting their customer service if you need help- they hire scum of the earth, probably to keep their overhead low.

The Most Unethical Company Ever 1/5
I wish there was negative stars to give. I listed my car on the Turo application. When the vehicle was returned, there was a lot of damage done by the renter. I immediately filed a claim, had taken photos & video when the car was rented and photos when it was returned. After all of this evidence, my claim was still denied. I was told several excuses, from that they don't have the money to pay for everyone's claim to they lost the claim or couldn't open the attachments. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Bad costumer service:
- inconsistent, impersonal and does not resolve anything.
- read well the all the policy's: also the hidden information. The app does not protect the customer or public safety: a policy that allows and supports a service that may incur in public safety.
- It is not cheap: today you can find similar prices in other car rental companies much better structured, more experienced and with better cars and service.
- Turo is too informal, not worth it for the risks you have to assume.
- I am very disappointed: 50% of my services were irregular and unsatisfactory.
