    The title pretty much says it. It was difficult to get set up for mobile banking and now that I have I can't even make a mobile deposit. It takes me to a page that says "Deposit to this account:" but no account is listed and there's no drop down for me to select. (I only have one account.) I figure I'd go back and try again. Now hitting deposit just results in a spinning wheel and then nothing. Page doesn't change. Nothing. As much $ as US Bank makes you'd think they could have a working mobile app. I always wondered why people didn't like US Bank but I'm beginning to see why.

    Us bank used to charge 0.5 for using the app to check deposit. Now it says free, but i can never deposit a check anymore. It freezes every time when I try to and now it even freezes when I try to log in... ATM, I am on my way.

    Seriously. They have all kinds of hidden fees and don't notify you about important or fee-incuring events. I've lost over $200to this bank and they're hidden fees and unwillingness to notify you about things that you should be notified about (like them closing your account, a fee to close accounts, them changing your account to charge you a monthly maintenance fee, and more). They're thieves and will just steal your money at every chance they get!

    This app mostly did what I needed it to... until just now. I tried Mobile Deposit for the first time, and I can't even get as far as activating the camera before the app crashes. Completely worthless.

    It doesn’t take a high IQ to understand mobile banking helps a bank reduce expenses. The more we use an app to do deposits, etc. the less staff and branches they need to have – sad as that is, it’s reality. So, for months I refused to use the US Bank app for deposits because they wanted to charge for it – they want their cake and to eat it too. So, it was good when I recently noticed they saw the light and started letting customers do free deposits. Then I tried to do one for my business. Turns out any check deposit over $2,500 they want to charge for. According to my local branch, it would be $4 per deposit if under $15,000 and even more if over that. So much for seeing the light. I refuse to pay for depositing a check via a mobile app. I’ll drive to an ATM on principal – make sure you have enough functioning ATMs near me so I don’t eventually decide to instead go with an online-only bank like Ally.

    App is fine except for fingerprint login doesn't work. Whenever I try it says technical difficulties please try again. Extremely frustrating when I am trying to quickly access my account.

    My son who is a minor has a savings account, and uses the banking app. He has been excited to put his summer job earnings into his savings account, and then when he makes a purchase, he transfers from savings to checking with ease. The problem is that federal regulations allow the bank to charge ($15) per transfer after three, and we did not know that because it is in the small print. He has lost $135 total In the last week, even for transfers much smaller than $15. Can the US bank app please put a warning after 3 transfers? It would be a simple addition. I worry that it won't happen because it is a moneymaker. Please don't take advantage of your customers and incorporate this easy fix!

    The fingerprint Touch ID had stopped working since the last update. Also a very slow app. Can usually do basic functions (balance check, transfer funds most of the time) but have to get the computer out to access full account, make payments, etc. Could be much better.

    To deposit a check, you are required by the app to write "For Deposit Only". But the app cannot correctly identify handwriting, so the deposit cannot pass!

    I like the accessibility to my balances, the ability to transfer money between accounts and pay bills to outside companies all from my phone. Haven't had any problems with the upgrade and as a side note, I don't use the finger print feature. Overall good app that works for me.

    App was updated to require iOS 8 or higher. My phone is an older version and no longer has System updates from Apple. Thought they could maintain the old US Bank app which worked fine for what I use it for, bit nope, that's not how they roll.

    I have been a customer with Usbank since I was 16. I have always use the online banking services and when the mobile app became available I was extremely excited. I check my account regularly and I have never had an issue with my app. The fingerprint feature allows me to quickly access my account and I love it. I recommend this to everyone on a daily basis. I am also, a banker for the company and I would encourage everyone to checking their account on a regular basis to avoid any possible overdrawn accounts. Sincerely, SV! KY

    The online and deposit function on the app repeatedly does not recognize that the check is endorsed. I was thinking of switching to a local bank that I know has an app that works. This makes me want to take action to switch.

    I use this app religiously to check my AVAILABLE balance and to transfer money between my US Bank accounts. Apparently the available balance listed is NOT accurate. I have gotten 10 overdraft fees in the last 2 weeks because they say the balance has gone negative at times. There has not been a negative available balance listed on the app. therefore I believe I have money to withdraw or make a purchase with. Unless you have hundreds you'd like to give away to the bank, stay away from this app!

    Not sure why this app has so many bad reviews. I've had it for a couple of years or so and have had very few issues with it. I deposit checks (no fees now!) on it often and transfer money into different accounts. Glad it's available.

    I use this app to pay my monthly car lease. This is without a doubt the worst banking app I've ever used. For the first year of use I had to enter my checking account info every time. It had no way of remembering it and I'd have to do it manually each month. Finally they got auto payments. I logged in and the interface was blank for my account. I found in the transactions that my payment went through, hut the info displayed was wrong. It showed I still had a payment due this past month which I had already paid.

    I echo the frustration other reviewers are experiencing: the mobile check deposit NEVER works (the back image doesn't register "For Deposit Only", even though I've written it clearly and in all caps). Also, US Bank has the nasty habit of placing debits before credits, even if you deposit $ at the same time. They also arrange debits in increasing monetary value rather than the time stamp of the transaction, which increases your chances of garnering multiple overdrafts. BofA used to do this until enough customers complained. We should also consider doing the same here. Please fix mobile check deposit. It's worthless if it doesn't work.

    I've used this app for a couple years and it has always been buggy. The fingerprint log-in has never worked. Every time I set it up, it just asks if I want to set it up again the next time. Until recently I could mostly navigate the things I've needed to accomplish, if not easily. However, the recent upgrade (which I was forced to download just to use the app btw!!!) has rendered the app completely unusable! It won't even open, and I've deleted and reloaded it 6 times. This has caused an overdraft because I couldn't view my accounts and transfer money. I assume nobody else is able to use it either, at least on the iphone. And the fact that us bank has not fixed the problem or reverted to a previous version just demonstrates they don't care! I do not recommend it if you can bank by any other means.

    Doesn't save bank acct info so it's inconvenient for paying bills. Also forces updates when trying to use it, so it's not much more convenient than just using the browser.

    With the old mobile deposit, my deposit limits were WAY higher, and if I wanted to deposit more for my business account, all I had to do was pay an extra fee (which was small compared to the deposit amount). Now deposits are free, but with NO option to deposit more than the daily/weekly limits. I would have no problem paying an extra fee for higher deposit limits, but now it just tells me I need to "visit an ATM or branch location to make this deposit." This completely defeats the purpose of the app!!

    Do the reviewers that offer 5 star get paid? What they say directly contradicts what happens when I use this app. Another forced update, and for what? Please, stop going down this path. ******* Lets try for negative stars. How many bad reviews can you gather? Your forcing an update so we can "send money easier?" What a tag line! You reduce basic function and waste our time forcing an update? Fail! ******* Again, the latest update made it broken: I can’t do basic things like pay the credit card bill because the app won’t process it through to the end. I can’t pay the charges I put on the card WHEN I use it because, for some reason, that doesn’t work any more either, I have to wait until they process through days later. You say you listen, but obviously you don’t. You keep adding features that are far from the basics at the expense of having a functional app. Lots of feel good stuff that doesn’t help, lacking in the basic functions of a bank. Oh, and I can’t believe it is slower than the last version, but you did that one better as well. I would ask how slow you can go, but you’ll try to show me I’m sure. Too boot, it logs me out if I don’t touch the screen every 30 seconds. Guess my brain isn’t powerful enough to work your app in so many ways. Another Update: you add 'features' that I'll never use. You force updates. Now even slower. Good thing I don't rely to actually get anything accomplished. Update: it only got worse when you forced another update. Now I know you don't learn from your mistakes. Original Review: This redesign couldn't be much worse. Significant wait times on every screen. Confusing arrangement even after watching the tutorials. What were the improvements supposed to be? Honestly, I hate when you know-it-alls tell me I'm going to love something, only to disappoint with such grandeur. I'll avoid using this app as much as I can.

    So freaking hard to identify a check hah? Deposing money to account from a check also need money and take longer than other banks. Great~ transfer money to other banks will a lot more helpful and faster~
