Be careful. House of Blues theater maps are all the same. So if you pick a concert in Chicago and the software takes you to Detroit and you don’t catch it and you then carry out the transaction you are stuck.
Oh then if you stay on the phone with Vivid’s support team long enough discussing your situation they may offer you a refund. But understand the refund comes from their service fee. So if you were billed in total let’s say $140 for a ticket your refund will be about $7. The service fee is like $25 for a $85 ticket. Isn’t that special.
Oh don’t worry they are legally covered. When you click that you agree to their T’s and C’s you are now stuck.
Did I make a mistake - maybe. I visually saw and clicked the Dallas event but ended up with Houston tickets. So if I made a mistake where the software never says clearly ‘do you want these tickets for a HOB Houston event’ then bingo I should suffer some of the loss. But to receive a refund offer of $7 for a $140 ticket - you can’t be serious. Vivid has all their T’s & C’s covered so why don’t they just not offer you any refund. $7 is a slap in the face. I did not take it.
They are purely a middleman that takes absolutely no responsibility. Can you imagine the profit line this company has. Executives, a minimal staff of well scripted phone support people, oh yah and a lawyer to make sure they have no responsibility to the customer. Remember in reality those of us who buy tickets via Vivid are really not a Vivid customer. They are a middleman that hands you to a scalper. We are the scalpers customer.
Great business model - don’t make a mistake because you will be stuck.

I ordered tickets to a concert in Dallas for my sister and I in December. The concert was in February. Two days prior to the event I got a notification saying my tickets were delivered, however I NEVER received my tickets. I called the company legitimately SEVEN times. They continued to reassure me that my tickets would be reissued digitally.
I drove 8 hours to the concert and was waiting in line @ 11am (they were ga tickets, and we wanted to be close). I proceeded to call 3 more times that day asking for updates about my tickets, the first two times they said they were processing it and promised I would get tickets into the event— legitimately guaranteed that I would get them. The third time the employee told me I may not get them till after 7:00 (doors opened at 6) and that was a hard maybe. I asked to speak to the manager, and after about 10 minutes of being on hold he told me that I would be refunded for my tickets because they couldn’t get me into my event. UPS “had lost” my tickets. This was 1.5 hours before my event, I had driven 8 hours and been waiting in line for 7 hours. This was extremely frustrating.
The entire day prior and day of the event I had told them that if I wasn’t going to get tickets I would like to know so that I could repurchase through a different, more organized and more serious company. They always assured me I would get tickets. They lied to me and a majority of the employees that I spoke with were short with me and I heard different stories about policy almost every time.
Stubhub saved my day, even though I ended up having to pay twice as much for my ticket bc it was the day of.
DONT TRUST WITH YOUR MONEY 1/5
Spent $300 to see HIM. They gave away my tickets. NEVER refunded the money. Had to buy alternate tickets. NEVER explained why I couldn’t have my money back. They just said the tickets were returned to the original owner when the venue changed. AGAIN, NEVER REFUNDED.
Found terrific seats at the last minute for a great price!
I purchased tickets and still waiting for them.

The fees are ridiculous
Says there are mobile tickets but they are not. You can get them on your phone but they have to be printed on real paper. Wish they would have made that more clear. Also you can’t access the tickets from your account. Instead you have to have the tickets emailed and then opened from your email. Very difficult to use.

First time ordering tickets for a basketball game and everything worked perfectly. Paid for seats and they were promptly emailed to me. I printed them and watched the University of Tennessee Women beat the Texas A&M Women in a great game from seats close to the court! Looking forward to using Vivid Seats to purchase tickets again!

This is the third tie I’ve used Vivid tickets, the app makes it even easier. I was nervous the first time trusting seller and mobile tickets but I’ve never had a problem.
I found awesome seats for a Miami Heat game, $80 less than other ticket sites.

Do not buy tickets from Vivid!! What they do is just buy tickets from Ticketmaster and other sellers, double the price, add on a $200 processing fee, and give you no means for cancellation. Save yourself some grief and buy your tickets through Ticketmaster or a trusted promoter instead. I was ripped off.

After using this app for a couple years it’s not as great as it used to be. They charge ridiculous amounts of extra fees and the worse part is that you can’t see how much until you pay! How is that fair?! It’s not like seatgeek where it actually shows you how much the extra fees are and you have the option of turning that on in the filters.

I would not use this app or company! I bought 6 tickets for WWE in San Antonio. I bought the tickets for my son and friends and when the venue (AT&T center) scanned our tickets, the first ticket worked and all the other 5 were not valid.
I had three kids and two parents looking at me for answers freaking out. The venue sends me to the customer care counter (long line) and the manager tells me she can't help me because the tickets aren't from ticketmaster and she is sorry but there is NOTHING they can do. (HORROR!). Also, she scanned the tickets 4 more times with different scanners and all the scanners confirmed that only the first ticket was valid. They escort us outside and I call the number on the website that says call for immediate assistance. I sat on hold for an HOUR! I emailed them. No one responded ever. Not even the next day.
I call Vivid seats the next day and everyone is apologetic and tells me that they will investigate and get back to me within 5 days.
On the 5th day, the customer service drastically declines. You can tell they have a different personality in place now to handle this situation and they explain that I am not getting a refund because it is confirmed that at&t only scanned that one ticket. They tell me that it shows at&t did not scan the other 5. Oh really?!
I ask her to just scan my tickets, look at them and you will see that only one is valid. She says they cannot do that because they have no way to confirm the tickets are valid. WHAT?????
You sell tickets that you don't know are valid? That's awesome. I wish I would have know this before I trusted your company. Especially when you say you GUARANTEE your product.
VIVID SEATS IS A SCAM 1/5
Complete garbage. Dua Lipa's concert was rescheduled to six months from now and I won't be available. Plus I lost complete interest from how far she postponed it. Instead of getting my money back, I'm sent a long email by them saying how since they are a second party they cannot send me back all of my money since I did not pay for the insurance. I found it useless to pay ten extra dollars to get back only the price of the ticket and not the large service fee as well. Instead I have to either attend the concert or sell it on their website where they will take 10% of the earnings. Plus they will send the earnings through PayPal. That's another deduction from PayPal themselves. Vivid Seats is a complete scam!

I recently purchased $27 tickets through vivid and assumed it would be as user friendly as other ticket purchasing apps—I.e., once you purchase an electronic ticket you receive a bar code or scan code for entry into your event. I only realized once i got to my event that I needed to print my tickets. I was out of luck bc not only does vivid not offer refunds in certain cases but also the initial purchasing process needs to explicitly say “you must print tickets.” I had to purchase tickets at the event in addition to my Vivid purchase. Guess I’m just out of that cash.

Was sold 3 tickets to a college basketball game from Vivid seats 3 days prior to the event. Was reassured by reps from customer service showing up with the printed tickets would gain my family entrance into the arena. Showed up to the arena, only one of the 3 tickets was valid and the other two were voided and sold already to another customer. Customer service was no help and told me I would be emailed the next day to launch an investigation. Customer service reps could not assure me I’d be refunded for my invalid tickets and told me I’d need proof to consider getting a refund. I recommend this place to absolutely NOBODY and if you plan on buying tickets from them you should reconsider and cancel your order.
Easy to use. Never disappointed with the seats I get. Great way to find seats at a price you are willing to pay.

There was I mess up when I bought a Notre Dane football ticket, it turns out that ticket I bought was already purchased, so vivid offered me a ticket closer to the football field with no extra charge plus free shipping. I will always go through vivid tickets:)

I was absolutely scammed. Bought tickets to Purdue-Michigan football game this fall. Bought about the most expensive tickets on site for 2nd row, I believe. After I purchase, what comes through are 50th row. This was not user error, I made sure to 2x check seats before purchasing. Customer Service: “I’m looking at the seats right here, you bought these.” Really?? 300+ for seats in 54th row? Purdue?? “Price doesn’t have anything to do with the seats you bought, sir.” Just plain rude service. Never got next-day call from manager that I was promised several times. I gave away tickets to students.
