Please bring back the dollar to dollar sending money online. Its very convenient for us seafarer to use your application. The exchange between dollar to peso becomes lessen. During my 1st and 2nd contract I always send money thru online easy access then I can save the dollar to tge bank and exchange it when needed. But now we cannot do it anymore.

I like that I can start transactions through the app... very easy to do, and I’m happy to do it this way for the reduced fee, but I’m not sure why they always make me fill out a paper form anyway once I arrive at the store to send money? I thought the whole point of using the app was to not have to do that?

My 2 bro’s is always running out of state when they shouldn’t be and getting “stuck” in situations they shouldn’t be in. I hate having to jump n run to the store to send them $$ to get back home on. I wish I’d known about this app years ago. I’m so glad I didn’t have to run to the store today when my oldest brother called 2 states away needing gas $$ to come home on. I just sent $$ 2 months ago to my younger brother. It was a bit of a hassle getting a ready and a baby setter and so on just to send someone $$. Today it was a breeze. Just downloaded the app registered my email and off I went. With Apple Pay. The only down fall I have (Now I won’t have an excuse to not sending it sooner) hahaha. Thanks western Union!!!

Lot of bugs in the app. I wasn’t able to update my new address it license details. Please fix them, you have lot of revenue, why don’t you improve your app. Lot of new companies have very good apps despite still new in the business. I am a Software Developer, please hire me if your are not able fix them. 🤩
Western Union App does not work properly 1/5
Despite calling Western Union several times, speaking to call sender agents, sending email to technical support team, in STILL unable to compleat the following task with the Western Union smart phone app:
1. Unable to edit the following:
- Email address
- Phone number
2. Unable to use my debit cards with this app:
- each time I attempt to use my debit card
I’m allowed to go through the process of
filling out the required information, but
as soon as I attempt to send the
payment I receive a message that says
“Unable to complete transaction. I’m
receiving this error message despite the
fact my bank account has more than
enough to cover the amount needed to
cover the transfer amount requested.
My bank was notified as will but
informed me that WU is failing to
provide my bank with the amount of the
transfer being requested. Instead of
providing the bank with the amount of
the transfer WU is on showing $0 and
the bank does not know what amount to
approve to complete the transfer WU is
requesting to be transferred.
This highly frustrating and no one at Western Union seems to be intreated I reaching out to me to fix this glitch in their phone app.
It’s has been over ten days now and I still have not been refunded my money! Your worker refused to let me send my daughter money just because I would not tell her why I was sending her the money. Obviously your worker kept it for herself! Somehow all the emails and the transaction on the case has disappeared and not by my bank or by myself. I will be reporting this!

Attempted to send money thru the app and a day later transaction was declined without giving any reason. I spend 41 minutes talking to 9 different folks and departments with 0 assistants. Altogether I was told we cannot tell you and against WU policy.
Dumbest experiences I have come across in my life. I think Keystone cops would do better...
Find a another company or a financial institution
Every transfer was put up for a 24-hour “review” without notice, “money in minutes” my foot. Most inconvenient money transfer service I’ve ever used, will be deleting app. Try using xoom through PayPal if sending money to family abroad.

The 1st rep that helped me was rude and seemed like he didnt know what he's doing or have had a rude customer before me.doesn't ask for my name at first just ask what i needed assistance with then my name(no heads up or "give me a moment please")puts me on hold.2nd rep puts me on hold for more than 15 minutes just to speak to a different rep but in the end was able to cancel my transaction.

I normally send money outside the US and would initiate the transaction in the app and complete it at the agent. They have removed the option to pay in cash for this so now the app is useless to me.

We had an emergency and Family tried to send us $40.00 lousy bucks. Only Western union sent it to the wrong state the 1st time around...which sparked security issues for the 2nd time. They tied it up for 7 hrs. That cost us 3xs the original amount...possibly could've KILLED us literally when waiting for it to arrive. Out of gas and no where to go. They wouldn't tell the sender or the receiver what the hold up was... RUN AROUND, SHADY, CORRUPT and total lack of respect for the situation and people in harms way. I HATE THEM!!!

You have to do the same you do in store but with the advantage of staying in your house or work. It took me minutes to do it. I really like this app, just I recommend to check twice and to ask the person who you are sending money for all its information. Great app!!

The app maybe fair so far, though you are not able to track pending transactions there - there is no log displaying correctly- it just says - no recent transactions, however I did 4.
Second and the worst thing - I am not able to transfer with it after I created the order in app. No agent in NY city was able to finish this order... the service does nor work!!!
Horrible customer service. You select the option and price of Money Within Minutes and few days later you finally complete the transaction. When you call and ask why your transaction hasn’t been completed they tell you that it is under review and to wait up to 6 hours. You call back and another customer representative tells you you need to send a copy of the sender and receivers Identification! And to just cancel an order you’d have to repeat that same process. So time consuming for money within minutes. You are better of going into a Walmart and sending the money through them. All around horrible service!

These companies more and more outsource their call centers and customer service as well as "Technical Support" to the Pacific regions where there's an inherent language barrier as well as lack of western personality and sensitivity the meets you when you're already put off about an issue--At which point you then become disgruntled. In 20 attempts to get support for these bugs it just took one last botched call for me to be so done with western union

When I try to send, say 50.00 twice a month, my accnt is then locked n I get the Msg 1960 that I’m sending too much money n To try their agent. I go to the station n same problem. I try the service agent and they don’t know what the problem is. My cards n accnt info is good. My limit is $3000 p/d. what the problem? Nobody knows n for me to wait for an auto reset— whatever That is.

This used to be a fast and reliable way to send money to friends and/or family. Suddenly it’s 100% denial, regardless of payment option. multiple cards, bank, Apple Pay it doesn’t matter. Even the PC fails. My banks tell me all is well and WU reps tell me they can’t tell me what’s wrong. Sad...on the PayPal.

I tried to view my recent transaction and keeps bringing me on the quick resend page. I don’t want to quick resend, just want to view the details of the transaction.
I can’t find any way to do it on this app.

You’re presented with options: use your bank account, $8.99 ... credit/debit, $21.99. I chose to use my bank account. What they virtually fail to mention is that it’s a 3-5 BUSINESS day wait when you choose that option!
I sent money to my brother who needed it TODAY ... but instead, he has to wait until SIX DAYS FROM NOW to receive the funds.
When I called to cancel and resend funds, Western Union said “Sure you can cancel the transaction ... in 3-5 business days”.
I’ve used Western Union a lot up to this point, but right now, Quickpay is looking better and better.

Cannot use bank information or debit card. Western Union continues to request approval for transfer of zero dollars from my accounts and then cancel the transaction. And then they requests that you go in person to one of their stores to make the transfer. Then after multiple calls to Western Union no one knows but the problem is.

I used Wester Union branch’s for past 20years; sending money to my family. Never had an transfer issues! When app came out it was like a best Christmas present...I no longer had to wait in line or walk in a rain or snow to the store, etc. If I was sick, and my family need money ASAP, I can send it from a comfort of my bed! Amazing app, its a God sent! Keep up a good work!

I like WU. It’s amazing last month but now after update it’s working vise versa. I mean in the exchange rate. When I pay from bank to bank, it’s gives good exchange rate than paying by cash to cash. Now the exchange rate higher for cash to cash than from bank to bank. Why?? Should be vise versa. Please check.

I send money to my mom from ny to fl and it was great thru my debit car it was to collect right away on any location on florida. It charge a fee like on the store but i didn't have to go out...is good for those who don't have time to get to the store but if you can, just go to them...
Cannot change contact info 1/5
I tried to change my daughter contact information (last name) and when I save it, it defaulted back to the original last name. Ok, then I deleted the contact and entered her new information and it still went back the the original once I save it. Who in the hell design this app! Horrible!!!!!

WU is a complete hot mess and their customer service Is a joke. It took the lady 10 minutes to explain why my money wasn’t sent to my recipient after two weeks, because she couldn’t speak proper English. I used Xoom instead and it took less than 1 minute for the recipient to get the money. O stars if possible

Too expensive to send small $100 or $200. And more expensive to use the app than walking into a western union location? Are you not cutting overhead down when using the app? Doesn’t make sense. $12 to send $100 to Central America, $5 if you go to the location. Doesn’t make sense.

Overall, the app is working fine. However, I would like to do one thing within the app that redeem my wu point. For me is like take an extra step to redeem point outside the app. So it would be great if I have ability to redeem point inside the app. Thank you.
