Great but... 5/5
So far this app has been incredible but I wish there was more free lessons because some of us are too poor to afford 10 bucks a month for lessons
This is the first time in almost a year of owning a guitar that I've actually made any sort of progress. It tries very quickly to get you to sign up but since there's a free trial I just went with it. Beginner/Pro tip for anyone about to download this? Find a good chair (preferably an armless one) cut your gosh darn fingernails (if you will play without a pick) and if you have a tablet/CPU use that rather than your 3.5 inch screen like I have too
I finally get to learn piano 5/5
I love this app so much although when I press the keys sometimes it doesn't pick up the sound which annoys me sometimes. But overall it's pretty good👍😊❤️
Not honest!!! 1/5
Beware this app I signed in and they charged me $119.00 without a warning. If you want this then good but if you are trying to check it out. Be VERY CAREFUL!
This type of selling I would hope this is ILLEGAL!
I cancelled the account I DID NOT WANT!
Check your bank account every day to make sure you do not get hit for $119 or $179 for a years subscription....
If I see it I will report them and work with my bank to prosecute them.
They need to be way more upfront on their payment notification.
Pretty misleading 1/5
What a way to trick people. They give you a "3 day trial" which is really only 2 days. Then you have to pay for the whole year, $120, not $10 for a month If you don't cancel within two days of your three day trial.
Learning is fun sometimes 5/5
By Spiffman Space
I'm learning the ukulele at a comfortable pace. The exercises it has are fun and easy to pick up on.
Helps a lot
I used to love this app 2/5
I would give it 5 stars but now I can’t. With the new updates, you can’t even play songs with no feedback anymore when your lesson time is up! Not to mention that you only get 2 minutes of free lesson time! I only played 2 SONGS and it was already done with the free lesson time! I’m about to delete this app!
Fun! Helpful! 5/5
By user humanoid88
Been using for about a year, and I'm only a level three but this app has helped me fix a lot of my struggles and I'm heading down a smoother road!
Well would you look at that....
I'm learning piano.
Quick and easy 5/5
I've learned more with this app in two weeks than I have in 2 years!
Love this app! 5/5
I play flute and violin, but reading and playing chords on a ukulele is completely different than reading and playing the music I'm used to. This app has helped me SO MUCH!
Get it - you won't be disappointed!
Duolingo for instruments 5/5
By King of Poop
If you've ever used the app Duolingo to learn foreign languages (a method I'm quite fond of), you'll find this familiar and it's a great way to learn the language of music too
Love this app! 😍😍😍 5/5
Okay so got a guitar from my bf and decided I'd give it a try. This app is truly amazing ! I knew literally NOTHING about playing a guitar and this app makes me feel comfortable playing.
Better than learning with a human 5/5
I have learned more in a week than I did in a month with a guitar trainer, and for cheaper. The trainer cost $20 per lesson, twice a week, every week. That rounds out to about $2040 per year. This only costs $119 per year. That's a 1728% decrease in price. This is so much better than my trainer, and it costs soooooo much less.
Not to bad.. 3/5
Once you sign up with a account beware you will need to cancel or be charged there Annual fee. After a week of use this is not bad. I will continue this review, and complete the training and I may change my rating.
Wow have I learned quick! 4/5
Very useful tool for learning to play a stringed instrument. I am
learning Soprano Ukulele and am progressing very quickly. I only wish the premium was less expensive. I bet that at a reduced price way more people would purchase a premium subscription. Overall, an expensive but wonderful tool.
Pricey, but excellent resource 5/5
I'm away from home for five months and Yousician is a GREAT way to keep learning and practicing. The lessons are well thought out and there's lots of encouragement--highly recommended!
By Quick dude
It's actually really good. 5/5
So my friend told me to try this app out and I was a little skeptical at first because I thought this was something you had to buy, but to my surprise, it was free. This app is actually very helpful if you are a beginner or if your like me and you just need to work on it a little more on your uke skills.
Perfect for self teaching 4/5
I've been using this since June and it has helped me improve in only a few months immensely, because you can go at your pace and it teaches step by step, building on your skills.
I'm sad 5/5
I'm not happy. The older versions of this app allowed you to keep practicing with the songs after the free daily lesson time was over. No more....now it locks you out after a very short time. This is an app you have to buy now.
The best guitar app 5/5
If you want to learn this is the best way!
Best App EVER 5/5
Excellent App #1 buy
Good app 5/5
The problem 4/5
I write a 4/5 because when I'm playing the guitar sometimes it messes up
Brilliant way to learn an instrument 5/5
Such a fun and easy was to learn an instrument. This app is worth it!
Great pace 5/5
I love that you can learn rhythm and chords separately. Wish I had the 10 to upgrade to premium
This app will piss you off 1/5
When i started to use this app,i loved it.There was no other apps to teach like Youscian.First 3 levels are easy(i was getting 3 stars in every songs and lessons). But when level 4 starts...
You will start to hate this app.It makes you to play power chords, down & up picking, that stupid ear training lessons.App thinks that you are already a pro guitarist, amd gives you a hard lesson. Why you can't play in slow tempo in PERFORM mode?Everyone in practice mode will put the slowest tempo. They'll play good, but in perform they can't complete.Because app wants you to play fast, like a professional. Also that annoying adds, saying that better to learn play in with this app.And not spend money to musical school. There are technical issues too.Like i play D minor, but app can't hear it.Or when i am completing trainer, when someone calls me,and after finishing the call app just stops to hear anything i play or do.And i need to reopen the app. Also it drains my battery.
Dear users,i suggest you to complete only 3 levels of this app.Just to know at least chords, struming, freting and so on.After that spend money to musical school.A phone app never gonna change real musical education
BROKE MY GUITAR 1/5
I JUST PAYED SOOO MUCH FOR THE GUITAR AND THE APP TOLD ME K HAD TK KEEP TUNING IT BECAUSE IT WAS TOO HIGH(and yes I was playing the right string) AND AFTER A WHILE OF TUNING THE STRING GOT TOO LOOSE AND SNAPPED AND SO DID THE OTHERS THAT THE APP TINED RIGHT AFTER
Amazing for teaching 5/5
Best teaching app I have see !!
Awful customer service 1/5
This app may be very good, but unfortunately I will not find out. After spending $119 for the Premium subscription I was not able to access the additional features this should of given me. Customer service would not provide any help at all... Nothing!! The person didn't seem to care at all! With an extremely condescending tone, the only response they could give me was to try and get a refund from iTunes. Even with a little help to resolve the problem would of prevented this poor review.
Super cool gud time 5/5
By Wow this is so sad
Yo this app is super cool. I got to it learn the ukulele and I've never play a string instrument before. I don't pay for it but I've actually learned a lot. The best part is that the tuner on this app is wayyyy better than the tuner I actually paid for. If you want to learn an instrument and are willing to practice a little bit a day, this app is perfect for you
Like it 5/5
Its pretty cool
It's perfect for visual learners 5/5
I am a visual person and tried learning from a book and it was not working, I tried Yousician and this is the perfect learning tool.
By Fearless fready
This app is great the in app tuning is so helpful. I just wish I could practice longer in one day without paying for it!
It's something else. 5/5
It's incremental and that is huge in leaning. So far I love it
Great for getting back into Guitar 5/5
By Tech Recruiter
I used to play guitar when I was a kid and haven't played in over a decade. This app was great with getting me back to the basics and learning the cords again. Games make it easy and fun to learn. Just using the free version now but will most likely purchase the full version. Tuner is awesome btw.
By Kakarot jr
It's good to learn the ukulele took me a few days to get it all right
Great app 5/5
I bought a bass last Friday and I'm already that much better!!!
I've seen so many great ads and had high hopes for this app hoping it could help me improve piano, but I first got in the app and tried to calibrate, however right away it was picking up the wrong notes. I know this is an issue that probably only I'm having, but I could see clearly that I was playing what was shown on the screen, yet it said I was playing a different note. I can't learn if I'm playing the wrong notes, so I deleted it.
If you need a foundation 5/5
This is what you need for a foundation to playing guitar. It teaches you simple things and adds in more technique as you get better. I have played off and on for about a total of 4 months and my roommate as seen how much better I have gotten with in a few weeks. Thanks Yousician!!!!
Best app ever افضل تطبيق على الاطلاق 5/5
افضل طريقة لتعلم الموسيقى، بدون تكلفة مالية وبأسلوب ممتع.
Best way to learn how to play music, without losing money.

Best app 5/5
It can't detect a fret at all 1/5
I got to the part with the frets, and it can't pick it up at all. I played super close to my phone, and then put ear buds in to see if that would work any better. Nope, still can't detect it at all. I'm pretty sure it's not my phone, my I phone 7 mic works fine, I really don't know what the problem is. At first I thought it was me, but I could start telling it had no idea what I was playing when I was trying to do a 3 fret on the thinnest cord, and it kept thinking I was playing the cord closet to me. Doesn't motivate me to pay $10 a month for this.
It's a decent app 3/5
I really like this app!! This app has gotten me back into playing my guitar! Only wish is that it would teach me to play songs that I know and like. I guess I'm saying I wish it had a bigger variety of like country songs. However, I have learned a lot off of it. The thing that made me mad, was when $120 came out of my checking account. It said I would be billed $9.99 monthly... and it billed me for the year...a heads up would have been nice.
What I rate it and y 4/5
By Jenna Xd 100
Four stars because it doesn't hear the piano well
STUPID MEAN APP 1/5
IM LEARNING TO PLAY UKE AND IT NEVER REGISTERS WHEN I PLAY A CHORD. I WILL PLAY IT BEAUTIFULLY BUT IT NEVER SAYS I DO WHICH RESULTS IN A LOWER SCORE AFTER THE SONG.
