Your app isn’t working it keeps on saying authentication failure it won’t let me sign in using my tv provider please fix the problem or I will have to delete the app.Sorry but your app doesn’t work I uninstalled it reinstalled and tried redoing everything set my account back and tv provider I deleted your app based on the fact that your company can’t seem to fix this problem.Maybe next year I will try you back for now your company is not worth having this app on my iPad wish I could give your app zero stars based on these problems.

I love to watch my favorite shows on the ABC app but the app loads very slow and often requires me to quit out of it and reopen in order to access anything. Would love to have this resolved so I can enjoy more of the good shows they have to offer!

By far the worst network viewing app. Always freezes, the audio goes out before a commercial break. The picture quality is horrible when streaming via chrome cast. Tried to download the app on my actual tv and the app never even opened, just acted like it was loading.
I watch shows on all the network apps and this app is definitely the worse.

As somebody who is blind, I really enjoy the usability of this app with the voiceover won American idol is it sees it as that is my favorite ABC show. However there were bits and pieces I missed of the New Year’s Rockin Eve last night and I hope that I have an opportunity to see it on ABC eventually so that’s just my only suggestion other than that can’t complain about the app

You can’t use this app to watch the live, OTA broadcast on a mobile device or computer without a subscription to cable or satellite TV service. Kind of defeats the purpose.

I wanted to watch some tv shows and the age is 12+. I am 13 and it told me I wasn’t eligible and wouldn’t let me make an account at all whatsoever even if I deleted the app and redownloaded it.

Dude! This app changed my life, more apps this and the world will be awesome. But a few things, be prepared for a few adds, well, more like 5 or 6 adds, but otherwise this app is a game changer, get it? Game changer! Hahahahahahhahhahahahhahahhahahahha

It is so ridiculous, every time I turn on ABC News, are any of your specials, it’s so terribly liberal that it makes me sick at my stomach! There are at least 71 million people out there that do not agree with you are your views. Your 2020 show about last year is horrible, it only shows clips that try to make Trump look bad and all your liberal people look wonderful. It’s a joke!

I’m not sure if the devs read this or not, but I’m just now catching up to some shows and we are three weeks behind on our episodes, while looking through past episodes, spoiler photos from the last episode were under previous episodes. Can we make sure the content manager addresses this issue?

Constantly get the “please turn off screen recording to resume video playback” when trying to mirror to Apple TV even though in my content settings screen recording is turned off! Very frustrating

Sound issues only reason for 4/5 stars 4/5
Every time I’m watching/casting a show on the abc app the sound mutes for the last 10+ seconds of the show before cutting to commercial (and the same for commercials before resuming to the tv show) you can still see the characters speaking but no sound at all is heard. It’s not unbearable but a little frustrating if you can’t hear what’s being spoken even if it is for only 10+ seconds at every break. 🤨
Unless you already have a cable provider, this app only takes up space. Don’t have anything else on my phone that is as useless! ABC seriously needs to figure out why they even bother to create a digital paperweight.

Ok so I watch a few minutes of a show then there a add but there are 6 adds in one like cut on the adds this is terrible like maybe 1 or 2 add in one but not 6 who ever made this app cut down on the adds and if we want to fast forward then don’t put a adds

Every time I try to sign in I have one of these problems: it won’t let me sign-in, it won’t let me choose which tv provider and is stuck on Verizon, or the app freezes once I sign in. I’ve tried this app on a tv, ipad, and iPhone. All 3 had problems with this app. I used to use this app all the time but now I can’t use it at all...this app is horrible. The worst part is there is no where to leave this feedback. The technical issues haven’t been fixed in months.
update: Just tried again and the tv provider password that worked before the app froze on my tv says it is incorrect on my phone. The password isn’t incorrect.
Did the update today and now app won’t load on iPhone 11pro

This app makes you log into your tv provider, it will launch the tv provider login and once the information is entered goes to a loading screen. I have never ever been able to get past that point. Yes, my login details are correct because it works on other apps. The web version is no better - luckily this version lets me log in. However, as soon as it gets to the first commercial it becomes an endless cycle of commercials. By the time the SIX ads are played, the page reloads and SIX more play just to get the show started. Never actually starts the episode. Beyond frustrating.

I downloaded the app to watch the ACC championship game. I signed in to my tv provider and clicked the banner for the game, but it would only bring up ABC live news. So dumb.

I’ve never watched a movie on my phone before because I thought it would be substandard due to quality & inability to keep my interest. But as channel 11 suddenly wasn’t available to me on TV I gave it a try. So glad I did. Excellent quality and kept my attention. Thank you.
Horrible App 1/5
Do not download this app. Just wait until the show hits Netflix. Besides the “oops something went wrong” message almost every time I open the app, it makes you watch the same 5 minutes worth of ads that you’ve already watched when you try to fast forward to the spot you left off. If you miss a part and want to rewind, 5 more minutes of the same ads. Wasted 15 minutes watching ads just trying to start where I left off before the app crashed.

We need ABC back on dish. It’s not fair that we have to pay for a local station that is free. You keep shows locked out for eight days before we can watch them without paying. We need to go back to antenna and do away with paying all theses high priced cable bills

I find it very annoying that when your app updates I have to login as though I am a new user and this is my very first time launching the app. Can you find a way to retain my login credentials? I do not update your app unless I absolutely have to (even then I think long and hard how bad do I really want to watch this and honestly I have given up on some series you show for this very reason). If you could fix this problem I would watch more shows on your app.
Provider at war with ABC 1/5

Like a child caught in the middle of a bad divorce, Dish and Nexstar are battling it out and has removed ABC from the lineup. Dish advised to use the app on my iPhone or Roku, but I am blocked because the app says that I am unable to use it because Dish is not access.
There’s no way to remove Dish from the app or add a different provider. (I have xfinity for internet and can stream through a box they provided.)
To Dish and Nexstar: we all know that eventually you are going to raise the rates anyway so just rip off the bandage on get on with it so your customers can get back to watching their programs in peace.
As for Dish you need to do something about this because I am about to discontinue my account with you. Every year it’s the same thing with other local stations and then you justify raising the rates with the excuse that they were playing hard ball. YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE NOT STUPID!!!

I cannot get logged in. It says it sent me a password reset thing to my email, but it didn’t. I have tried this several times. Can you please help me with this? I have a list of my shows and movies already made in the app, and have recently used it, so I do not know why this is happening. Thank you.
