When attempting to resize a page, you can only see a few pixels of the handles on each corner because you can’t zoom out any further than screen width. There is ZERO buffer between the PDF and the edge of the screen. I can only assume no one at Adobe ever actually tried this app. And if there’s a way to crop pages instead of just resizing them, I can’t find it. Imagine charging money for this.
EDIT: Adobe’s response doesn’t address this at all. I’m trying to edit existing PDFs, which Adobe Scan doesn’t do.
Not well formed so they can just try to get you to pay an upgrade fee. Save your time and your privacy.

7/16/21 - the below review was left months ago & per developer instructions I contacted Adobe support. They never responded & the problem persists. I’ve learned from past, painful experience to hold off on updates now, usually for months & never before checking reviews so I can avoid losing hundreds of knitting/crochet patterns along with any notes I makes.
The app has suddenly stopped saving my changes, even after the update. Update: per the response made to my above comment I contacted adobe support via the provided link. I’ve gotten no response & if anything the problem has gotten worse. I used to have no problems updating my adobe app, but after the big “improvement” update sent out a couple of years ago I cringe every time I see an new one. I usually wait months before updating, but decided to take the chance & it bit me again, hard.

So many glitches which makes it frustrating 2/5
I use(d) this for work. We have forms to fill out for reports and we include images, so I bought the premium version, big mistake. The most basic functions are so glitchy, making it impossible for me to write my reports. Whenever I go to type into a form, it glitches and either the app crashes or it doesn’t register and nothing even changes. It’s so frustrating because one day it works fine so I think maybe it’ll be okay to use this instead of my laptop, but most of the time, it fails me. So frustrating to have to work with this app, it’s a huge waste of time.

I have more questions than opinions. I just signed up for the Adobe for my I phone. But it was withdrawn from my Microsoft computer. I think my credit card failed. I really don’t know why it just stopped working. Hence, I signed up for Adobe on my iPhone with marginal expectations

Adobe Reader generally does what you need it to do. My only complaint is that if you need to clear space on your iPad, it doesn't allow for bulk moving of files to the Document Cloud, making document manage more tedious.

I subscribed for monthly payments, when I unsubscribed after my work is done, that are charging me for early termination but this was never disclosed while I subscribed monthly. Beware of hidden charges.

Tried to use the app today. Almost unusable with ads popping up every two or three seconds. Without touching anything. Feels like being spammed. No time to move from one menu to another. Person in charge of this detail should be fired.
If you can cut the ads down to something reasonable, would be willing to change the rating. As is, unusable.

The app itself is ok and allows for a very basic use of Adobe PDF, but Adobe refuses to do larger improvements updates. On IOS their is little to no reason to use this app over other apps other then it being the “Official” PDF app. The community asks for many things such as split PDF mode or even the ability to open multiple PDFs at once. Both things IOS is capable of doing at this time. This has been brought up for years and their still is no update or planned update. Would really enjoy to see the team work on community focus per requests, but only time will tell.

Terrible app! Extremely unsafe. Puts folders on your iPad that you can’t get rid of even after uninstalling. Leaves a huge link at the top bar saying open in acrobat even after uninstalling. I thought Apple curated their store better than this. This should be flagged as malware.
This company is a fraud. They are hard to deal with when needing to cancel a subscription. They constantly hang up in your face, IF and WHEN they come on the line. The hold time is ridiculous for cancellations, but any other option you need to select is quick. They'll just refer you to Apple to cancel or get refunded and then hang up in your face. Horrible service.

Thank you all for giving me a childhood with flash games and then COMPLETELY RUINING IT! There isn’t a single online game I and many others liked that doesn’t still require your services, and yet you shut it down for being “expensive to support” even with every single popular online game using your services. If you switched to HTML5, why not finding a way to keep using your far MOST USED SERVICE? There isn’t a single reason I could find that actually defends you.

We use this app a lot in our business. With the newest update our forms no longer send as flattened copies even though the setting is turned on. I’ve tried the support website listed in the description but no help or solutions have been given. We’re going to have to figure out something else now. Not happy.
The developer replied back to my review with the how to. ‘Click the … and click share a copy.’ This is what we have been doing. It is not working. I went to their support website and saw I’m not the only one having this problem with the newest update. Hopefully they realize it’s a bug, not user error, and it’s fixed soon.

For an app that one would think is just dying to be optimized for mobile this app is not! Liquid mode is a nightmare if you have anything with columns! Do not use liquid mode if you are reading music or any kind of charts.
There is absolutely no way to set a default font so anytime you want to edit or add text to something you have to reset the font, its style and size. Speaking of text if you want to copy and paste text from one text block to another you have to reset the font again! How long is Adobe going ignore this basic feature?! This is basic stuff people!
Musicians use other applications because this is so bad and it should not be.
