I wanted to love this app 3/5
When Rush was announced I was overjoyed. Finally I could edit Premiere quality clips right on my phone. Unfortunately it turned me off. Takes forever for a clip to render, which would not be a problem if it didn’t fail every time it reached the 70% mark. There’s a lot of potential here, they just need to work out the bugs.
Not 4K 3/5
I refuse to have a video editor that doesnt export in 4K but i love the variety of everything else.
best app ever?! 5/5
By Typical Cp
Despite the fact that this has 3 imports I think it’s a great app for content creators like myself too make amazing content and edits, I think the export should be free, just more adds.
Great video edit app 4/5
Great video editing app, only missing the speed up slow down function and it’d be perfect.
Streamer use 3/5
Using rush to clip twitch video for Instagram and Facebook use is fairly easy.
I wish I could pinch and zoom the video to “scale” it to fit into the square format. Instead it zooms the video in.
It could be enhanced on clipping out the dead air inside longer videos, but you need to duplicate and crop down the feed to get what you want (the exciting parts) for fast paced videos.
Overall it’s good. The app crashed and it saved my progress on its own. That’s a VERY nice touch.
The premade transitions and scenes are great too.
First video I tried to edit constantly fails export in 1080p. No error message, app just exits. Spent about 3 hours and I can’t even use what I’ve made.
Also gives me big red error text because apparently I’m at 118% of my free cloud space but it won’t let me unsync my projects. When I select “turn off sync” it says “turning sync off has failed. Please try again later.”
I’ve heard good things, but until I’m able to actually use the software for its intended purpose, it’s just been a massive waste of time so far.
It’s a good program. I’d maybe pay $10 one time to use this...but $10 a month? I’m not a professional, I just want something a little more advanced than clip for doing really simple animatics. $120 dollars a year for something like this is an outright scam, what the heck is adobe coming to?
so slow 2/5
good app with nice editing features but given the extreme slowness and likelihood to crash, i prefer imovie
Horrible Experience 1/5
By JC Hatch
I purchased the phone and laptop versions of the app as well as the cloud space.
I tried to use the app on my phone for 3 different projects and it crashed so often that I just deleted the app and re-installed it. I made sure my phone an iPhone XR, was updated and tried the phone app again. Crash-palooza. Horribly disappointed I tried the Mac version on my MacBook Pro. It also crashed and was a complete drag on my system. I just deleted the whole thing and I’m going to try to get my money back. I use other adobe products and have never had anything like this happen. I recommend saving your time and money and searching elsewhere for a slick movie making app.
Adobe Premiere Rush 5/5

Why I love rush 5/5
By AngelMermade gacha girl
Rush makes it easy to make videos and Quick every time I make videos I use rush your one of the best
Love this app 4/5
Would be the perfect app if it’s splicing capabilities where exactly like iMovie and if you could export in 4K !! But aside from that love it
Works on iPhone but not desktop 1/5
Works great on the iPhone but won’t open on laptop w 5G wifi. Ran through the troubleshooting suggestions including changing the internet time settings to not sync with an internet time server 🤷🏼♂️. Ya, huh? Super excited to get started with Ru but very frustrated at this point. If you want to use it on a laptop I would think twice.
Why can’t I play my songs in this app 3/5
This is a great video editing app but I can’t play my songs well editing I would like to see this change and in the other apps to thank u
Doesn’t Work 1/5
I have a 6 Plus and this app doesn’t work. When I open my camera to either record or take video—nothing happens when I press the red record button and then the app crashes. iOS version is 12.3.
edit title 1/5
By Forced man
Tried editing title name but just can’t. Disappointing
Great stuff 5/5
By TSI Video
Love almost everything about it. Wish there was a way to speed or slow down the footage.
House of The Rising Tiger 5/5
I edited the Titanic using Rush express. It was tough but this app is every bit as capable to release record breaking blockbuster titles. I’m currently editing Avatar 2 for theaters all from Rush express here.
Love it 5/5
By Roci Roses
So far it works great
It’s good 4/5
The app is wonderful other than that, there needs to be more transitions, If you add transitions For free then I probably defenitly be intrested to buy the 100gb for the space, because I use this for YouTube and the more the transitions the better, but if your going to let us pay for transitions don’t make them boring please and not for a crazy price
I love this app. It gives me an opportunity to do what I love. But it randomly crashes. It’s very disappointing because I’m working on projects that will never get finished because it keeps crashing.
Bulcrap app 1/5
It doesn’t allow u to save to ur phone and doesn’t upload to any media
Need more exports on Rush Cc 5/5
Good but For those who do not edit videos as much, I think it’s reasonable to give people more than 3 exports.
Love It ! ! ! 5/5

No PC, no use 1/5
By Abigail's mom123
The app is going to be a no-go for me if I can’t work on the project on my laptop as well. As reported by countless users I get “not responding” every time I scrub through the timeline. This limits me to the phone or iPad app which to be honest isn’t the best iOS editing app on the market. The cloud sync was key but if it’s useless because of the PC experience then what’s the point? My laptop runs the rest of the Adobe suite with no issue.
Pretty easy to understand and it’s kinda fun
By i am annoyed pt 17294820102
I literally just downloaded it and the create button doesn’t even work. So. That explains how this app is I guess.
GREAT APP 5/5

Good but be aware 3/5

It works good, easy to learn and use. It does force quit sometimes, but it auto saves....so it make it tolerable.

Buena app 5/5
Used to have more features. What happened? 1/5
I have been using this app for a few months now, but recently the app updated unknowingly, and now there is no Editing Tools in Color like there used to be. Used to be able to adjust Color levels, shadows, clarity etc. now it’s been minimized and I find it not useful anymore. Unless I am missing something or it’s in a new area, It really went from 5 to 1 star in my opinion. Hopefully I’m Wrong.
Randomly closes 1/5
To the point of being useless. When I try to use the app it works for a minute or two then just closes itself. I have made sure everything is updated and closed all my other apps but nothing helps stoping it from closing
Where’s the leave color feature? 3/5
I recently downloaded this app to recreate a sin city like affect that makes everything black and white except for one color. I searched the app top to bottom and I could not find that feature. That’s probably my only concern, otherwise, very good app.
Good but not 2/5
By Curiosity Hub
It’s a great app to use, it’s simple quick and gets the job done.
However, there is one thing; exporting.
Most other apps like this allow you to export projects as much as you want. But Rush, you make us export 3 times and then we have to pay $10 a month just to export videos into our library! It’s a money-making scheme. I’m dissatisfied Adobe, very dissatisfied.
Its so much better than other video wditers
Good but there is 1 thing 4/5
This app is good and all, I came here after I movie doesn’t allow full screen, but I don’t get why there is 10 bucks a month. IMovie was free. I wasn’t expecting 10$ a month especially for people who came here of recommendation like me. I think you should take that away and that will give you guys a good base. And then add special perks for money so you guys will still get profit
Very good, but would be great if.... 4/5
By Jake Ituto
Adobe Rush is a fantastic app to get some very good work done on your phone. I think it is very powerful but, I think it would be extremely powerful & extremely efficient if I was able to add an adjustment layer and add coloring to the entire piece of footage rather than having to click on each individual clip and change the Lut.
Adobe, can you please add this feature? It would save me so much time because I would only have to spot edit rather than edit every clip.
Would you also be able to add the featured to increase or decrease the volume of an entire layer of clips rather than having to go into each one?
Quick and reliable 5/5
Intuitive and multichannel for creative switch of scenes.
Not Free!! 1/5
Another app that tricks you into downloading and never once says it cost anything until you download it and make a movie. I already pay for Photoshop and Adobe products.....stop nickel and dime us!!! I’m ready for some alternative options at this point.
Ok I guess 4/5
I really enjoy using its very useful but no matter what when I need to hear the audio of the video I can’t hear it
A bit frustrating to use on an iPad 3/5
By Leo from Miami
The app overall is good and very convenient. I made a video sequence fairly quickly by combining some iPhone videos and photos. I easily added a title, did some cross fading between photos and videos. Added a background music from Rush’s catalog. The frustration came when I wanted to move the music sound track. Pushing left or right did nothing. Double tapping would put an orange border around the track to show it was selected. But it was not very responsive. And shortening or expanding the track was also a mission. It seems that you have to touch the side border on a very precise point in order to drag it in or out. And even then it is not clear if the track is expanding or simply being moved on the timeline.
Crashes consistently every time 1/5
I can’t believe how much I’ve aloud myself to waste so much time on this garbage app.
Crashes consistently every time upon exporting video.
You can’t save it to the Adobe Cloud. Only social media.
Hard Pass 1/5
I’ve been using this app for a couple weeks now and have tried really hard to like and use it. With no real options and such an unstable upload download system, I spend more time trying to get the app to work than actually creating content. I already subscribe to the creative suite but would rather pay for a video editor that actually works than kill myself over this free tool. HARD PASS... move on.
Very substandard for the Adobe name 2/5
I am a professional media developer and photographer/cinematographer and been using Adobe apps such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, etc., for many years and I am a Creative Cloud subscriber.
When I saw this mobile app I immediately envisioned an app that would be quick, yet powerful for away-from-workstation mobile work. I was, and still am shockingly disappointed. The app is very slow on my second-gen iPad Pro, and scrubbing video is not fluid at all, making it very difficult, less precise, and more time consuming. That experience being with 1080P video; I am not even going to try editing 4K video. But worst of all, the app crashes so much that I stopped using it. I just couldn’t take the chance that I would lose an important project when (not if) the app crashes and force-closes, so I had to switch to LumaFusion, and I won’t be looking back unless Adobe makes major improvements on this beta product.
If this app did not have the Adobe name on it, I would be more restrained in my view. If naming this app ‘Rush’ is an indication of its premature release, then it’s appropriate, because it does indeed appear to have been rushed to the App Store. Premiere Rush has no business being called Adobe-anything, let alone Premiere. I am just dismayed that Adobe would release such a buggy and ill-performing product. And finally, the app’s feature set is very sparse.
Surely, the developers at Adobe have seen and used LumaFusion, and that being the case, they must also be aware of how LumaFusion is so far and away superior in performance alone that it embarrasses Adobe. And it costs only $20. I realize Rush is not intended to be a workstation substitute, so I won’t go into detail on how lopsided any feature comparison to LumaFusion would be. The biggest and most important issue with Rush is how unstable and sluggish it is.
How could the very same company that produces industry-standard imaging products feel that Premiere Rush is not only ready to sell to customers, but also shares the Premiere name (and with it, the reputation and expectations of the Adobe name)?
Do I seem harsh in my rating here? Indeed, but would Adobe find it odd that a customer would expect a product with the kind of polish, usefulness, and reliability as with other Adobe products? I hold Adobe to a very high standard, and Rush does not even come close to that standard.
This product does not (yet) deserve the Adobe name on it. I’ll have another look at this in a few months. For now, uninstalled.
Very close to ideal 4/5
Clean, intuitive, essential editing on iPad Pro, but right now it’s a little too essential. 1) Desperately needs the ability to do basic animation of transformations: pan, zoom rotate. 2) Needs the ability to duplicate a project (not just a timeline inside a project) to make versions, templates, etc.
Fingers crossed these features will be added soon.
Update: After further experimentation, another vital feature feels lacking: Drag and drop media from other apps/photos (using iPad Pro btw). Just anything to reduce the number of taps it takes to get a piece of media into my project/timeline. Im working with stills, often edited/created in other apps. What if I could just drag a sketch from Adobe Sketch straight to the timeline? Or drag a still or video from Photos straight in? Right now the media management has a lot of the clunkiness of a desktop experience.
Awesome app 5/5
Went through a handful of apps before finding this one that let me do exactly everything I wanted
Freezes and crashes every time 2/5
By Adam Slechta
I greatly need an editing app for iPad Pro that can interface with Premiere CC. I was really looking forward to this, but it doesn’t do well with the length of projects I’m working on. The app just freezes and crashes every time I try to load it, and wasted a lot of time..
Needs more work and stability. It definitely needs more iPad Pro multitasking support, and methods of importing footage.
I’d much rather see a Premiere app like the new Photoshop app coming out soon.
Great, with a couple tiffs 4/5
By Johnny Gerdes
I use premiere pro for big video projects but when I commute, I figured this would save time I need to quickly edited small clips. It’s great! My typekit fonts are uploaded and I love filters that come with it. Being able to add and delete layers is pretty easy and typically any edit I’d want to do in premiere I can do in Rush.
My only fall back is exporting . My clips are typically 1:30 - 3 minutes long and they take around 45 minutes minutes to render. Which would be fine except I have to keep my phone on, and not touch it at all! Don’t check any messages, look to see what time it is, nothing! Or, it’ll stop the entire process and start over. I’ve had nearly completed clips to be exported only to have it stopped because my hand accidentally pulled down my notifications. So now I just edit and leave my phone on in another room untouched.
It may sound awful, but I love what comes out.
Eats up my battery too....buuuut I still love it
