I ordered a package and unfortunately it was stolen. I was able to get a hold of the seller and they informed me that I would need to file a dispute to get a refund. Only to find out they claimed I had the package and refused to honor the refund.
With that being said the tracking on the packages aren’t up to date. When finding out the packages wrapper it came in was left in my drive way and the tracker said it wasn’t even in the country yet. DONT USE THIS APP. After everything I ordered has been hopefully delivered I’m deleting my account.

This is embarrassing for such big company to have such laggy interface. Maybe if developers would be more focused on user experience instead of user data collection we might see improvement. AliExpress itself is great if you know what you doing, this ain’t Amazon.

AliExpress is a very nice shopping app if you love buying things that aren’t sold on your country. In addition, the prices for the goods can be very affordable but sometimes seller will sell the good very cheaply and jack up the shipping fees. Advice: look carefully before buying anything and also keep looking for the same item from different sellers, especially when the prices are varied from seller to seller. The con of AliExpress is that the items will take forever to arrive sometimes it can take over a month to arrive, or never arrives at all. Sometimes sellers wouldn’t even refund money back when you never received any items in the mail. But some sellers do ship the item properly and it may arrive within 2 weeks, if you are lucky. In addition, when you order a lot there can be times that you are missing some orders when you receive the parcel. As always, ask for refund. Try to take picture and send it to the sellers for refund, if it doesn’t work you might have to escalate it to AliExpress customer service. But overall, AliExpress is still a nice apps to buy things you don’t have in your country for an affordable price. Don’t be discourage from one mishap order from a bad seller, as there are many more nice sellers in AliExpress.

You have to be patient to enjoy shopping with AliExpress, I never had an issue with most of my orders, but the shipping sometimes takes too long and some sellers are not responsible and that’s why I give 4 stars but on the other hand, you can get lots of goods for a fair price. Impossible to speak to a real person.
If you’re ordering anything like clothing, shoes, or anything that needs a somewhat precise size, it’s almost always the wrong size, even after measuring, and not worth returning to China. I have probably a dozen dog shirts and harnesses that are either too small or too big I need to donate cuz they’re just wasting space. A lot of fashion item have a generic photo up front of something similar to what they’re selling. So if you order 2 dresses with the same first photo but from different sellers, there’s a good chance you’ll get 2 very different dresses. Like one might be made of stretchy polyester and the other flannel, and neither looks all that much like the photo. So you have to look closely at the other photos, which are of the actual product. And always check the materials.
I guess I’d say around 75% of the stuff I’ve received has been at least usable (comparable to Amazon which isn’t saying much). Unfortunately, prices have gone up a lot in the past couple yearsso it’s hardly cheaper than getting the same (or similar) stuff on Amazon but you have to wait between a week and a month longer to get it from Ali express.
I’ve also worried a lot about how wasteful it is getting stuff shipped individually from China, but I’ve noticed most Ali sellers use minimal packaging so even though it’s shipping from China there’s usually significantly less (like <2/3) waste (plastic product packaging, boxes, bubble wrap, etc.) compared to US sellers, who don’t seem to care about the environment enough to consider the impact of shipping a bunch of single-use garbage (packaging) that’s already been shipped from China to protect a $5 t shirt from shipping damage. I mean the carbon footprint from manufacturing and shipping packaging—which goes straight to the garbage once received… well it’s not like I really know what that is but I do know it’s all bad. But anyway efficient packaging from China means nothing if the product is unusable—they might as well be shipping straight garbage!! A lot of which then gets shipped BACK TO CHINA to be “recycled” cuz the process is so unhealthy we don’t want to do it here!!! It’s insanity.

If you are lucky enough to receive your item, you are better off than most. If, like tons of unfortunate victims, you have not received your goods, you are beat. Double talking bots and “waiting due to time zone differences” insulate AliExpress from having to address any issue. I truly believe that this company’s ONLY purpose is to bleed money from the west in a most humiliating manner. I’m not sure if there is human being employed in any capacity at this “company” It’s no wonder Alibaba stock has been in a nosedive for a year.BUYER BEWARE

Excellent app to find good deals. Better deals and items than Amazon. I love that you can send messages to the sellers right after purchase. The only thing I don’t like is that almost all the sellers send package to the wrong address. I don’t know why this happens. My address is correct in the AliExpress, but then when you order the place a different address in the package and some of them get returned. I like that I can claim my money back if the package was returned due to wrong address. If the fix the issue with the address I would give a 5 stars.

I would’ve given this app five stars, if I understood it better. They have ridiculous discounts on various products at various times of the week. But it’s still confusing to me as to how that exactly works. I’ve been using the app for only a month, but I love it. The product prices are very comparable and competitive with Amazon and eBay. The only difference is shipping speed. If you need an item ASAP, try Amazon or eBay, but if you’re in no rush and can wait or are shopping early for a birthday or holiday gift, then AliExpress is the way to go.
