The past few times I have downloaded the app it fails to respond, and won’t allow me to do anything. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have the iPhone S, and the app used to work fine!

When I open my app, it won’t even let me log in or anything! Won’t even give me to option to type in my log in information! If I leave it open in hopes it will start working, eventually, it kicks me off the app. Really irritated with this app! You guys need to get t together!

I wouldn’t know how the rest of the app works because I haven’t been able to sign in for at least the past month, if not two.
I’ve tried quitting and restarting the app but it still won’t work.
App constantly closes out, unable to click on anything on the screen, cant enter info, cant make payments. Super inconvenient- I hate this app.

This app has a history of being unresponsive and unreliable in the best of times. I didn’t mind the lack of Touch ID, even though it’s on most apps these days. I didn’t mind that is was a single-task app. It was just convenient that I could pay my car bill on the go.
Well ... used to be able to. For three or four months (when the last ‘update’ was published?), this app opens and then just sits there. I can’t enter my login information. I can’t enter my password. None of the buttons work. I’m on iOS 11.3 and am stunned a billion(?) dollar bank cant figure out basic app functionality.
If I could give 0 stars, I would.
This has got to be the worst online bank/auto app I have ever had to deal with! Get your crap together!!

A major bank and lenders app doesn’t support Touch ID or Face ID. Let that sink in. We’ve had Touch ID for how many years? And this app still doesn’t support it.
I use Touch ID or Face ID for everything and have strong passwords. I have to look up my password for this app each and every time.
This is either lazy development or incompetence. Por que no Los dos?

I can NEVER get this app to work consistently. I have to try for days to make a payment. Every single time I have to change my password because it never recognizes it and Touch ID is not an option which is absurd. Not only is the app horrible but the ally website is just as bad. ALWAYS an issue. I’m only giving it one star because it won’t let me rate it zero.

Convenient to pay my bill, but not for anything else. Most recent update has made it unusable. It’ll open but it won’t pull up a keyboard to type username/password. Kind of worthless to have at this point.

Originally I enjoyed this app, had no problems. Last few times I have tried to pay my bill though I am unable to login (pushing any of the options on login page don’t even work!) and there isn’t any warning of the site being under maintenance or anything. A couple of times while I have tried to go via traditional website I was informed they were doing maintenance, but just now I was able to pay via website no problem when the app would not do anything. So annoying!

App is glitchy at best. Recently it won’t even allow me to log in at all. When I exit the login screen and reload the app, it logs into an old view showing a very old status. Crazy! Then I get a message that they are updating the software and to try back shortly. Really? This has been going on several weeks!

The only reason because I use this app is for doing my car payments, amazingly it never works, honestly, NEVER works. This is happening for almost a year and we are in the same situation. Ally should be embarrassed with their clients for this poor service they’re providing with the app. Improve your service please, we are paying money for it.

I have been trying to log in for 2 days without success. When I press down on the username or password field it doesn’t give me the ability to type in my info. I thought it was my phone so I the deleted app, restarted phone, & the downloaded app again & still same issue. This the only app I have that doesn’t have Touch ID sign in option & from other ratings I’ve read it just overall HORRIBLE, ALL CAPS!!!

First of all-Ally is one of the few apps that does not have Touch ID. Very disappointing. The app is sluggish and doesn’t update payments in a timely manner. The whole app is just disappointing overall.
Don’t even get me started on how awful it is to try and speak with one of their reps.

I’ve made payments successfully with this app before, but now it doesn’t even respond to touch. Can’t even put in my username and password to access my account. Pathetic. With all the money they make off of their customers, they could afford to have this app work all the time. My small, local bank with only a handful of locations has an app that has never failed me. This app has failed me multiple times on many occasions.

The hardest part of using this app is signing on. When the home screen comes on and you attempt to enter your info, the app is non-responsive. It works maybe 20% of the time. If you are able to login then you are lucky.

The app worked perfectly fine until I decided to pay off my car now all of a sudden it doesn’t work. I open it up and try to tap on the empty bar to put my user name and password and nothing works. Seems as if I’m tapping on a frozen app or something.

I CONSTANTLY have to delete and re-download the app. It freezes up so you can’t even login. Sometimes when I download it again and try to login, it still won’t let me click on anything to type in my information. Completely useless. Just use the internet so you don’t waste your time.
I honestly could not tell you how the app features are cause it takes me a good 15-20 tries of opening the app and closing it to finally log in. By the time I am finally logged in I am so irritated I just do what I needed to do and get off the phone. Not happy with the app.

This app is absolutely terrible. I mean you probably won’t even get the opportunity to even see how this app functions cause first of all you can only successfully log in 1 out of 30 tries. Not to mention how out dated this app is. I could go on and on about how terrible it is but read other reviews. Everyone is saying the same thing. It blows. Great company for an auto loan but this app and their customer service is God awful.

I’m just a bit upset because it doesn’t change when I make a payment. It doesn’t show my progress even though I pay my car note. It still shows how many months I have to pay it but not the payments I have already made ☹️
Terrible service. After 4 years they still operate like a start-up company. Their app never works and you can’t call and make a payment. For this to be a loan company they make it difficult to pay your payment to them and don’t bother calling, they can’t help you either. Ally needs to catch up with technology.

This app has been broken for the better part of a year. I used to use it to check how many payments were left on my auto loans, as well as look at my credit score from time to time. Now the app opens but won’t let me sign in or hit any buttons at all. Basically it takes up valuable space with no use whatsoever. Deleting it today!

FFS, this app won’t let me login. Won’t even let me enter username or password into the boxes. It’s like a picture of the login screen has replaced the actual login screen. This is a bank? I can’t believe an actual and reputable financial institution could have this bad of an app, how is that even possible? I’m hoping to refinance my auto loan soon, I don’t care if I have to pay a higher interest rate even, I just want to be free of this terrible app!

THE WORST part of this app is the login. The app doesn’t save your user ID, and if you get your password wrong it even erases your user ID.
Why are you not updating for Face or Touch ID?

Where’s Touch ID? All my other banking apps use Touch ID....why not this?
No control over extra payments to principal.
No ability to see interest.
Fails to deliver on anything except “make a payment”.
