Your pocket companion! 5/5
By Rin Thiararynth
I’ve been using aloe bud for 3 months now. It likes your own diary and it helps you reflect yourself each day. Love the app, very cute and easy to use.
I love this app! 5/5
This app is amazing and so so cute. I use it to track/log my daily #SelfCare acts.
This app has to be for sure one of the best Self-Care apps. It really helps you get motivated and helps you to take care of yourself. This app is the best! Thank you developers.💚
Aloe love this 5/5
By im not happy 😑
It’s so cute!!
I really struggle with keeping my mental stability actually stable and this really helps me
Have daily reminders of self care needs I can do/try.
Best self care app 5/5
This app is super user friendly and very customizable to your individual needs. It is also the first self care app I’ve found where the features aren’t hidden behind a paywall. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to focus on improving their mental state.
Love love love!! 5/5
I’ve been using this app since it came out, and I absolutely am in love with it. However, I would like one thing added: I want to set more than 1 personal reminder! I’d love to have a few of my favorite quotes on rotation!
I have only had this app for like, 20 minutes and I already know that this is going to make a difference in my life! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to feel better waking up every morning!

Self Love to the next level 5/5
I love this app! I got this app to store how much water I drank, ect. 10/10 Recommend this app
This has got to be one most ridiculous apps I have dealt with - save your money 1/5
Don’t waste your time or money -what a scam
I love this app. It keeps me happy, healthy, and on track. I have run into a problem though. When checking in for my activity, I click complete but it doesn’t save my progress or just doesn’t let me click it. It’s very frustrating because I love this app. Please fix this as soon as possible.
so close to perfection 4/5
I absolutely love this idea, and I myself and really bad at reminding myself to do certain things (especially when I get into depressive episodes). This app is amazing and cute, and the only thing I would love to see is an option to set reminders in certain increments (ex every 30 minutes, or every hour). This would make it easier to remind yourself to drink a glass of water every 30 minutes, instead of setting 48 alarms. Overall, this is amazing and I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants some positive reminders.
Little boring 3/5
I like the theme of this app, it’s very cute, fun and creative, but it’s a little boring. It only reminds you, there is no meditation. You can create reminders but there is nothing fun about it, yes it can be handy. But I would rather have a app regarding how my day is.. and have reminders. I like this app but I don’t recommend this app for all of you out there who are more fun and create, who are very above and beyond!
Goals 🙌 5/5
I just got this app a few days ago and I already love it. I often don’t drink enough water so it is helpful to set times to remind me to be drinking water. It would be super cool if this app had a way to set goals like for example I could set a goal to drink 48oz of water week and then slowly work my way up to 112oz a week. The app could help pace you out to make it easier to reach your goal.
Aloe Bud 4/5
So far I am loving this app! It helps me take care of myself and my mind! I do however wish everything I wrote down did not just disappear. I write down all these great ideas and then when I click back *poof* they are gone... It’s very disappointing and makes me not want to write.
Great, but broken 4/5
This app is exactly what I needed, and the cute icons are great. However, I set multiple reminders on the icons but they won’t show up anywhere on my phone. Is there any way I can fix this?
Notifications aren’t working.. 4/5
Aloe bud isn’t sending me notifications on all my little reminders that I’ve set. It won’t even show up in my Notification Center. Overall everything is great it’s just the notifications that aren’t working.
wonderful for self care 5/5
i love this app so much. it is not overwhelming & very easy to use & gently reminds you with cute images to care for yourself. my favorite thing is that they have sections where you can find mental health resources in case you need. highly recommend. + it is still good to use even without premium
Cute Self care app! 💓 4/5
By Khloe 🦋
Aloe Bud is a great up to keep up with your self care needs, it’s super cute and let’s you freely customize it to your preferences. One thing I recommend adding is an alarm to remind you to drink water, take a break or something like that. Besides that I recommend this app and give it a solid 5 stars.
cute app, has glitch 4/5
I love the design and concept of this app, and have started using it since having a baby. But I have noticed in the reflection feature sometimes when you write something and hit complete it doesn't register. So I have to restart the app, which is a little annoying. It would also be nice to be able to set reminders for multiple times during the day instead of going off just once.
Helped Me So Much 5/5
I used to struggle with self-care because I’m just so forgetful. This has helped me improve my day to day soooo much. I love that it’s a gentle (and super cute) reminder to do the things that are good for my physical and mental well-being. I don’t like being annoyed with reminders from a to-do list so this is a great alternative if you’re like me. I can confidently say that this app helped me cope with my mental illness. So to the developers, thank you. This is such an important app.
a great self care companion 5/5
I found Aloe on Twitter, when they were still in beta, and have been using it since near the beginning, so I might be biased. But as a person who has a tendency to always forget the importance of taking care of myself, Aloe Bud has been an incredible companion to daily life. It’s so easy, customizable, and unlike other self care apps, where it doesn’t feel like there’s any expectations or goals to meet. It’s purely for reminders, for mindfulness, and for improvement in taking care of yourself- especially for those like me who have the tendency to forget. I feel like everyone can benefit from this app.
By love aloe
i never got notifications and wasted my money smh.
Would be awesome without the bugs 2/5
At this point my reflections keep disappearing into the ether, and cards that have been marked as done keep reverting to not done. The app is just frustrating me and making me feel worse which kinda defeats the point. If they fix these bugs though this is easily the best self care companion I've tried.
Not what I hoped 1/5
By Bunny Blackrose
It is not that easy to see if you have achieved daily tasks with the way they light up icons. The sounds for notifications can’t be changed so it is a small short tone that is hard to notice. Other than looking cute this app doesn’t have much going for it.
was five stars but 3/5
I’ve tried to contact aloe bud about the activity card bug over THREE MONTHS AGO, and have yet to hear back.
otherwise, it’s a good app that lets you stay in the moment without worrying about trends or charts or whatever that just make you feel guilty about progress.
Very helpful 5/5
This app is super helpful to make sure I stay hydrated and eat throughout the day and remember my meds because I’m super forgetful and often don’t think about the affects! The only suggestion I have is to add a note taking feature for some habits, I’d like to describe what i ate orhow much water I’ve taken in.
Great app with some bugs 4/5
This is an amazing app. It helps me keep track of what self-care I’ve done and easily see what’s lacking. The only problem is that a lot of the time I’ll check in to a certain thing and the app won’t register that I did it. Sometimes if I go back in and long press the check-in button, it’ll work, but only sometimes. I have the latest version of iOS and the app. I still think the app is great, but it can be frustrating.
Dont spend your money on this 1/5
Definitely stole my money! The reminders don’t work and the reviews are probably paid for. Just use it without premium because there are no real perks
Accidentally purchased the custom reminders instead of the reminder notifications 🙄
Does not work!! 1/5
I set reminders for myself but they simply do not show up. I have the most recent update of the app.
In settings, Aloebud does not even show up in notifications. I am very disappointed that it simply doesn’t work.
This is a great self care app and it has helped me a lot but there are these annoying glitches in which you press complete but it still doesnt put it on complete. Please fix this issue! Otherwise 5 stars.
Doesn’t help, begging for money 1/5
This app just wants to give you self care for money. I want an app that will help me and part of helping me is BOT MAKING ME SPEND A MILLION DOLLARS!!
soft, sweet, gentle. 5/5
such a gentle app. i love and adore it.
Amazing app 5/5
By Larry Joe Bob Rob Jerry
Most apps require a subscription and make you fill in many categories, but aloe bud is free and lets you customize your reminders. It’s simplicity and beautiful design make it a great app.
MONEY BEG MUCH?! 1/5
I can’t even have any self care when it keeps telling me to buy stuff!! I have no money and would like for this to stop begging for money. So I can have a self care app without spending my precious money!
Hi! I really like this app, and think it’s great, but I kinda wanted to refund a purchase?? I got the biggest pack, but because I’m really bad at doing tasks like that, no matter how gentle, I don’t really need my pack anymore. Sorry! Idk if I could even get it refunded. I tried Apple, but it didn’t work. Oh well.
cute & calming 5/5
By Elmo is weird
this app performs very well as a gentle self care log. i like how you have the option of a check in vs. reflection and the icons are adorable. the free version is great in and of itself, but i have a suggestion — i saw another review give this idea and i love it; it is to be able to set weekly goals for the amount of times you check in. so if you want to read 5 times a week, each check in would add to a counter out of 5 presumably on the bottom of the icon/square. i think this would be really helpful and would love if it was implemented in the free version.
How do you restore purchases
Thank you, Amber! 5/5
I’m so grateful for this little bud. I had a similar experience to the creator - searching for apps to help with basic self-care and not finding one that worked for me. Aloe Bud is perfect for me. Aesthetically pleasing enough to make me /want/ to open the app, simple enough for me to not get overwhelmed with too many tasks, and most importantly... you can tell it was made by a real human being.
One of the best apps on the market 5/5
I have another app that just helps me to keep track of my meds, but this helps me to take care of myself, even when I can barely get out of bed. It helps me to be easier on myself and others, even when I don’t have the energy. I have massive health problems that make it hard to do anything at all (and, on top of that, I just have trouble remembering to do things,) and so something like this, where there’s preset reminders, check-ins, etc. is really helpful. Thank you so much, I appreciate it.
most soothing self-care app 5/5
i love this app!!! it fulfills my desire to only use cute things, because it looks super cute and compact yet easy for me to read while it’s taking care of me through reminding me (kindly) to perform tasks for my basic needs and self care, which in turn improves my mental health. i also like to mark down when i do certain things and what they are sometimes, like listening to songs or seeing certain people, then look back at it in my log.
as pristin said-get it 5/5
By sitting chair040405
the app is great. it’s cute and simple. no hassle. the only thing that will take time is setting up your activity cards. there’s no login or sign up just download and set up. no problem if you skip out on some activities. EVERYTHING is up to you.just get it. uuuu and listen to pristin too. 🤗☺️
this app makes me the happiest 5/5
By Fabiola Ferrabone
the design is so cute!! i love how it motivates me to take care of myself
This is a really great app 5/5
Thank you aloe bud for being there for me when nobody else cares. Seeing those alerts makes me feel like it’s a person reaching out to me that actually cares about me even though they’re not real, but it honestly feels better than most people because I can always rely on the kind alerts to make me feel better, and real humans don’t really like me. This app can help you get back on track and remind to take care of yourself.
very cute and useful 4/5
This is a great app, especially since I have depression. But im kind of confused when it comes to notifications/reminders. Do you need the premium pack? Other than that its super nice and I really enjoy it. Thx SOO much for this blessed app. Please respond so i can know. God bless.
Thumbs up! Just a tiny change~ 4/5
This app is so cute and helpful! The only thing I might change is perhaps making the tiles reset every night so they’re all that dim color in the morning. This way, you can more easily remember which “goals” you have accomplished that day and which you may want to get to later on. The first day I used the app, it felt good seeing all of the tiles lit up at the end of the day ☺️
Very Helpful 4/5
I find this app not only aesthetic af but also very helpful and gentle in its reminders so it doesn't feel like it's nagging you. I just wish I could adjust the volume of the app like all others instead of only being able to silence it on the phone's silent mode.
Stick with the free version 4/5
It’s a very cute self care to-do list. That’s pretty much it. The customization options are very limited even after paying for it so I’d recommend just sticking with the free version.
I just found this app under a comment on Cupcakke’s twitter post, and I’m impressed. I don’t deal with health issues or anything but sometimes stress. Not only this app helps with my stress, but it’s really cute to work with so that’s a plus. I just set a few reminders for next week, can’t wait to see how my week will go 🙂
