  • This May Literally Be the Best App EVER!!! 5/5

    By @spicypear
I don’t normally write reviews, ever. But, I was scrolling through Health Care apps and I found this cute little app, Aloe Bud. It was so intriguing, I just had to see what it was. It took me a few minutes to see how it worked, but after that, I fell in love! It was a reminders app, a schedule app, and a diary, all in one, with the cutest little icons! And I don’t even have the premium features, which not to mention is only $5 one payment?!?!? Holy smokes! Thank you so much for making this app! i’m OBSESSED! I *cannot* wait until the next update! <3 totally would recommend!
  • Amazing but 1 small issue 4/5

    By z33girl
This app is awesome in every way and I love using it, it really helps me out. However I keep experiencing a glitch - i try to record or check in for a certain action and no matter how times I click it won’t record it. I have to close and restart the app for each check-in. Annoying but not a deal breaker. Would like to see this fixed though.
  • Great!!! 5/5

I love this app. Unlike many self-care apps, the premium feature is not necessary. Sometimes it is slow, but it goes back to normal fast. 100% recommend.
  • Love the app, but I think there are some bugs 4/5

    By thisgs
I absolutely love Aloe Bud! It motivates me and helps me take care of myself. However, whenever I open the app, I usually have to close out of it or when I have been using it for a little bit in my background, the titles get frozen and the categories get mixed up. Another thing that I am confused about is that it is not in my settings so I can’t turn on my notifications. I have no clue if this is an error of my own, of my phone, or of the app developers. If you could give me feedback, I would totally love it! Great app!
  • Mixed feelings 1/5

    By Looking4ThePerfectApp
It’s is very simple and easy to understand and the user interface is designed for maximum satisfaction. I also really love the aesthetic, but I can’t delete some activities and I would like to be able to write my own activities. It also gets a but wordy sometimes, and I want to be able to edit my activities after they’re set. I really hope the developer takes these things into consideration.
  • Love this app for the most part! 4/5

    By 🍭🎉
As someone who struggles with mental illness and has to take medicine for it, this app is wonderful, I love being able to set reminders for my medicine, and I love all the little reminders the app offers, however, when I check in, I have to do it several times before it logs it out the app, which is a little annoying, but overall I really love this app!
  • just one problem 3/5

    By 𝑎 𝑣 𝑜 𝑐 𝑎 𝑑 𝑜
don’t get me wrong, i love this app a whole lot and it’s super helpful and adorable. it’s got reminders, a super simple layout, and you get a sense of satisfaction after marking off the boxes. HOWEVER~ there is one problem. if you want to check off more than one activity box at once... well, you can’t :/ the app requires you to close it completely just to mark off another box, which gets very annoying after some time. that being said, i do recommend this app, but i would hope that this issue gets fixed sometime soon. have a nice day whoever’s reading this !! :)
  • This app would be amazing...if it actually worked. 2/5

    By Populargrl
I LOVE the concept for this app so so much. As someone with ADD who often forgets to do things and has trouble remembering if I’ve actually done things this would really be such an amazing tool for me. Problem is, this app just, doesn’t work. I set the alarms, they don’t go off. I try to check in, and it once again doesn’t work. It’s practically useless with the state it’s in right now. It makes me really sad, because I would have used this app in my day to day life, and I want to love it. I would love it so much if it worked. I feel like maybe it hasn’t been updated in a long time.
  • life saver 5/5

    By violentthing.s
i can’t thank this app developer enough. tha k you for not only helping me on my worst days, but helping other people too. this app is my every day life. sadly i’m going to an android and i won’t have this app anymore. but i just want to say thanks and i hope this has helped a lot of people
  • Annoying restriction 2/5

    By The_Glow_Cloud
I like checking things off I did in the day, even minor things, which makes me feel a little less bad about myself. The thing is, if I wanna just check the list off at the end of the day, there’s about a 1 minute restriction where you’re blocked from checking anything else off. This forces me to either wait a full minute to check off each thing I already did or force close the app and re-open it every time I check one off. It’s very annoying and I know this isn’t how the app is intended to be used, but don’t force me to use it your way. This is what works for me. Please fix this.
  • adorable 4/5

    By savannah daisy☀️
i love this app and it helps me stay motivated. i’ve knocked it down a star just because sometimes when it asks a question and i write my answer, i click ‘complete’ and it doesn’t show up - that it’s completed or that i wrote anything. a bit irritating but everything else is a 10/10! 🎀
  • Problem with checking in 3/5

    By Chubbymermaid
I have problems checking more than one thing at a time. When I check in to say I’ve done one thing (like hydrates) when I click on other things it just doesn’t work unless I close and open the app again. If it weren’t for this, then I’d find the app to be perfect since it’s so cute and motivating. It also helps me keep track of what I’ve done in a day and helps me remember to do/when I did a lot of things I normally forget (eat, drink, take my meds.

  • I am poor at paying attention to me.... 5/5

    By Godessof2
So I started using this checklist or more helpful are the reminders! I take care of everyone else yet don’t eat drink or rest properly forget shower and teeth ! With gentle reminder I can do small tasks much quicker than using my memory! Thank you for making sure I have energy for me before everyone else!
  • so cute! 5/5

i love this! :D so practical and cute!
  • Self care for 2020 is possible! 4/5

    By funimate fun1234
I love this app. My new years resolution was to better myself and to feel less insecure. This app did just that, as it has taught me to love myself and be more appreciative of everything around me. The app’s simple and cute design, is oddly motivating and is a definite 10/10. My only issue with the app is minor bug. For example, I would log a response for a day and it wouldn’t record it. I would end up re-typing the prompt 10 times it would log my response. Quite annoying but i guess the extra 15 minutes is worth it. I’ve noticed this bug usually after I’ve have logged at least one answer.
  • Best Self-care app!!! 5/5

    By Ella Hernandez
I’ve been in love with this app forever. It’s so simple yet so effective!! It has gentle reminders for everything you need for self-care and wellness A couple of features that I would love to one day see: - A way to set different sounds for different reminders -A way to track entries, like you could click on an item for medicine and see how well you’ve been taking care of it. Not a “fix-it” issue, but something I was thinking could be helpful. - A way to cancel a notification if the item has been completed. For example, if I had a reminder to eat at 8:30, and I added an entry at 8:00, it wouldn’t re-alert me. This is obviously a SMALL thing, but I thought it would be a nice detail.

    Helps with my anxiety!
  • Amazing app for people going through hard times 5/5

    By thisissalmon
I got this app in April 2019, it is by far my favorite self care app. Looking back on things I’ve written through good and bad times has helped me keep pushing forward. It helps me recognize how much I’ve grown and how I got through times that were hard or confusing. Any time I’m feeling overwhelmed or anxious, I use this app, answer its questions, and it immediately calms me down. It grounds me and gives me a whole new perspective on myself, my situation, and the world around me. I love it so much! I recommend this for anyone going through a rough time or who needs encouragement and can’t find it elsewhere. ❤️
  • Great app, but a few bugs 4/5

    By lfh567833
I really love this app it helps whit all of my issues mental or physical. But occasionally, my stuff would get mixed up or reminders would duplicate themselves. But overall a great app. Definitely recommend
  • i LOVE this app so much! 5/5

i have recently found this app, and i love it. first off, it’s very cute. second, it helps me calm down. i honestly wish i had found this earlier than i did. keep up the good work!!! 💗💞

This app has helped me keep in shape on my mental health I’m happy that this app exists thank you
  • Love it, just some minor bug 5/5

    By c h a r m i 🔥
I’m not the type to write reviews, but this app is just, amazing! I love the style that the creator(s) tried to go with! There’s just one little bug that I’ve noticed: when you try to check in with certain cards, you would have to press the check in button multiple times before it registered. It is slightly annoying that it takes over five tries to fix it, but it isn’t a deal breaker. If this is fixed, then that’s all of my issues solved and I would 100% recommended this app to anyone.
  • A love this, simple but does a lot. 4/5

    By SyberPhantom
I’m a hectic person who is 85% of the day going to studying. So this gave me a key to organize myself, give myself a break and take care of my self. Although I have one suggestion. That I sometimes accidentally check in something and I want to delete it. But otherwise the app is splendid. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
  • Dreamy app 5/5

    By castiels
Love, love this app. Really appreciate the UI and design. A lot of self help apps can make you feel like you’re in the loony bin. This is so subtle, with options to either reflect or check in with no pressure for notifications, which can be overwhelming. IMO, this and a separate meditation app are the only ones you need for mindfulness/“self care”
  • love it!!! 5/5

wonderfully simple and effective, very pleasant interface. i suggest purchasing the bundle or the others if you like the app! it’s nice to support small companies, especially such kind ones! i’ve seen other people put this in reviews so hopefully the developers are working on it—but sometimes when i check in, it makes the sound but doesn’t register and i have to do it a couple times for it to work. otherwise, all glitch free for me!! really lovely app! much thanks!!! :) <333
  • Heart broken and sorrowful 3/5

    By daisygirlmayzie
I LOVED this app - it was perfect for my mental health, reminding me to breathe and take breaks. Working at a support desk in an office without windows, it was heaven sent. But ever since I got my new iPhone (11), my reminders stopped working. Being in the IT field, I exhausted all troubleshooting until I decided to delete the app and reinstall. Now, even though iTunes vouches that I paid for the premium reminders, the app doesn’t know that. I have to go - time to rebuild my reminders. Edit: I just discovered a restore purchases option underneath the list of premium options - YAY!! Increasing my rating.
  • app is great, but an annoying glitch 3/5

    By lawnbear23
I love this app. it is great for keeping up with self care and determining what I haven't done yet that may be contributing to my mood. However, there is one really frustrating glitch. sometimes for the "check in" buttons you have to check in up to 20 times for the app to mark it completed. It's really annoying! Please fix it :)
  • Great app but I have a question 4/5

    By bruhmomendt
I love love love the color scheme, the graphics, the whole idea behind the app. But I have a question. Is there a way to create an account? I often have to temporarily delete apps to make room for school stuff like say I have to make a google slides presentation or something. Or if you get a new phone wouldn’t it all be gone?
  • Am I too old? 4/5

    By Barbasaurus
I like this app, but I'm 68 years old & the tiny cutesy text is barely readable at times. Color on color without good contrast isn't helpful. How about a more pastel palette with black or very dark text? What's the purpose of this tiny type? It looks like it belongs in some old 8-bit game. Maybe make the UI changeable to suit the user. I imagine some love this cute little typography choice, but I find it a major hindrance.

please make available for apple watch! would love it way much more than having it on my phone.
  • Recent Activity log isn't consistently updating 2/5

    By quiet_child
The app won't always update the log to reflect the activity completed. I keep trying to come back to this app after uninstalling it to see if this ever got fixed, but it keeps happening, making the app useless to me.

add spanish language please! 🙏 I can't use the app and I like it
  • Love this little app 4/5

    By lourenite
Clever, minimal, freeform. I love the refreshing 8-bit look of this app and how simple yet customizable the reminders can be. I’ve downloaded many different reminder and habit apps but I love how this one is built around mental health and self growth rather than the dry check marks of most others. Definitely give this app a try!
  • Just one thing,,, 4/5

    By Macaroni Rigatoni
I'm a person who gets overwhelmed very easily, but my shabby mental (and physical) health requires constant mindfulness on my behalf. A lot of self-care apps I feel offer too many uh,,, 'helpful' features. As soon as I saw the icon for this app, I knew I wanted it (as cliche as that sounds). Retro/8bit themed apps, I've found, are usually more simplistic, and this one was pretty much everything I'd hoped it would be. It's very cute and calming so I don't feel stressed with all the things I need to do when I open it, and it's super easy to navigate. Like, too easy. I like that you have the option to either just check in on a task or to fill out an actual short journal entry for it. Just one thing— I'm using this to also keep up with my medication. Since I'm very forgetful, I chose to fill out a prompt each day with how my meds effect me because it would be helpful for whenever I go to see my doctor. However, I'd love it if I could find all my journal entries for one task in one place? It's a little difficult to track how my meds have been effecting me when I have to scroll through the activities I've done every single day to get to each entry. Maybe create an option to view all your journal entries underneath the title of each task when you open it? That would really tie it all together and make it five stars for me.

  • Good but could you add something? 4/5

    By avid fan of Beebo
I love this app. It’s cute. It’s free. And it’s for me. But could you add a hygiene reminder? For like brushing teeth and washing your face? I think it would be really helpful. This app has helped me stay hydrated with the hydrate reminder. ☺️
  • Great App for Managing Self Care 5/5

    By jross4247
I use this app every single day, and it really helps me stay afloat with my depression. It covers all of the basic daily needs (and you can add or remove the needs to customize it to your routines and needs), so I can power through when things get rough! Awesome app. 10/10 recommend to anyone.
  • Good app 5/5

    By Cringe Comp.
Pros: - i love the pixelated theme - simple, neat design - didnt know how much id need reminders until i got it - so many choices for activities Cons: - kinda wish i could see more activites on the page (can only see three at a time), though it doesnt bother me much - it isn’t that bad, but i wish there was an unlimimited amount of characters when writing in the app Neutral: - i wish i could set custom reminders for free, but i understand the want and/or need for money. If i were them, i would want some cash for my hard work too 🙃. Also, i’m glad that it wasnt some more important feature. Tldr; clean, pixelated design. Reminders are free. Minor inconveniences, but not enough to bring my review down to a 4. Would recommend this app

This app is super user friendly and very customizable to your individual needs. It is also the first self care app I’ve found where the features aren’t hidden behind a paywall. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to focus on improving their mental state.

I’ve been using this app since it came out, and I absolutely am in love with it. However, I would like one thing added: I want to set more than 1 personal reminder! I’d love to have a few of my favorite quotes on rotation!

I love this app. It keeps me happy, healthy, and on track. I have run into a problem though. When checking in for my activity, I click complete but it doesn’t save my progress or just doesn’t let me click it. It’s very frustrating because I love this app. Please fix this as soon as possible.
  • so close to perfection 4/5

    By RandomerSketches
I absolutely love this idea, and I myself and really bad at reminding myself to do certain things (especially when I get into depressive episodes). This app is amazing and cute, and the only thing I would love to see is an option to set reminders in certain increments (ex every 30 minutes, or every hour). This would make it easier to remind yourself to drink a glass of water every 30 minutes, instead of setting 48 alarms. Overall, this is amazing and I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants some positive reminders.
  • Little boring 3/5

    By sparkleytwinkle0
I like the theme of this app, it’s very cute, fun and creative, but it’s a little boring. It only reminds you, there is no meditation. You can create reminders but there is nothing fun about it, yes it can be handy. But I would rather have a app regarding how my day is.. and have reminders. I like this app but I don’t recommend this app for all of you out there who are more fun and create, who are very above and beyond!
