    I’ve always loved Amazon but lately I don’t feel safe of them having my credit card at all times, I’ve been charged twice on my bank card for the prime membership and I didn’t even authorize it and to top it all off the customer service chat line makes you feel like you I don’t know what I’m talking about, I even sent them pictures of my bank statement to show them the charge and they still don’t believe me, but at the end I’m not arguing for $12.99, I just don’t like to be treated like a LIAR!!

    I love the convenience of shopping from home but I wish you would increase the size of your thumbnails. It waste so much time having to click on the item 3 times to see it enlarged. Also a gallery view would be great.

    I say this because I expect even better. There’s areas like lists that still need improvement. Lately the video clips on products don’t work on first click. Overall there’s been lots of improvements & innovation in this app functionality.

    3/23/18 2:12 AM. I just opened up the app. The app didn't look normal. This is not the first time it's happened. This has happened on my iPad at least three times. Inside the app, I am seeing a website that looks like Amazon, but the color of the edges is cyan, and there is a small icon under the shopping bag icon that looks like a microphone. Could this be a very old version of the app, or a strange website that is creeping in, or something else? What the heck could it be? Maybe my iPad is not secure? I can not update to iOS 11 because it's an older iPad. So Amazon, please check your app, or please check your security! I have many screenshots of what I am seeing if you are interested. I ended up deleting the app.

    Any time I search for any product, the page that comes up instead is for an Amazon product (Kindle, Fire stick, Echo). I then have to return to the home page - there’s no way to keep going to the item I wanted to find - and search all over again, and then it works fine. What a ridiculous, self-serving “function.”

    If I open the app and search for something I get instead, an ad for some Amazon gizmo. Then I have to go back and re-type my search term. I’m SICK of it. I’m going to stop buying things from amazon until this is fixed.

    I had bought many things on amazon the process is fast and easy! You don’t have to worry about getting scammed as much as you do on eBay no offense to the company but it’s true! I had bought items and a few of them arrive a day or even three days earlier than suppose to which I like because I am impatient and I like it as soon as possible. I had many troubles with other apps like eBay so I thought why not try out amazon and I have not yet been disappointed.

    There is no longer an arrow back when you click on an item in the home page suggestions. When you click on the item, in order to go back to the home page, you have click on the Amazon logo and start all over again. Also, if you leave the app to do something else and come back to it, it refreshes it and you have to spend a lot of time to find the product you were looking at.

    When enlarging photos after the first item subsequent items show the same enlarged photos from the first item. After 3 yrs all of sudden there's constantly issues with faulty app actions, I don't feel safe using it.

    App has become unreliable. Header bar changed to a turquoise color and all of a sudden I can’t click on an image to zoom. Delete. Download anew. White header bar is back yea! I click on an image it zooms, yea! I go to any other item and click on the image to zoom and the zoomed image of the first item is displayed. boo! once one the most reliable apps now makes it a pain to shop Amazon.

    Was being charged for an Amazon Prime membership that I didn’t even approve of. Then after contacting them, the lady was super rude. I tried correcting her and she laughed at me saying “well i guess you know more than me” terrible attitude towards me and she didn’t want to give me a refund.

    New review 3-23-18: This most recent update completely screwed up the app on my iPad. I no longer have the task bar at the bottom of the screen, and images will no longer “pop out” to view larger. Before the update, I would click on an image to pop out/enlarge, then move to a different item, and the first item would be the image in the pop out/enlarge. The only way to see a different image in the enlarged screen was to close the app and swipe it offscreen, and start fresh. Two BAD updates in a row. Amazon, you need to work to get this fixed! My previous review is from several years ago and Amazon did get it fixed. My bad for not updating the review when the app was working good-now it’s not. Old review: Please please fix this! I love the app for shopping Amazon, but if I am researching and looking for something, after so many clicks or browse backs it crashes. Every. darn. time. I lose my search parameters and have to try and get back where I was before the inevitable crash. This would be a 5***** rating if this gets fixed.

    The app seems to be all about generating repeat orders. It does nothing for those of us who need to match up orders with payments. When I want to see the details of a transaction that is in process, I cannot do that. When I want to match up amounts charged to my credit card with the items purchased, there is no easy way to do that, either. Please provide a way to link amounts paid, Date paid, and name of item and seller in some sort of Digest form. Then you'll get a higher rating.

    I have been an Amazon Prime user for MANY years and love it. I hardly go to stores or the mall anymore because I can shop on Amazon in my pjs at midnight in the comfort of my home. So clearly, I’m on this app A LOT. Overall I like the new interface but...I really would like to be able to search across my wish lists. That feature has been removed with the latest updates. I have several wish lists. I use them to organize items I am likely to purchase at some point in the future. Without being able to search across wish lists I am not able to find items in a timely manner. PLEEEEEEEASE put it back. Thanks.

    when searching for any product, the search will first show Amazon Echo page. I already own one and don't want to see that page again and again. Just show me what i searched for. Very annoying! Did not expect this from Amazon!!

    Mostly good but my biggest complaint is that the app will not retain my default address and payment preferences. From time to time, I ship to family or friends and use another payment method. The app will not keep them and I have to select default home address and payment all over again. It’s not really hard, but what’s the point to have a default if this is the case. It’s just irritating.

    This would be a buggy app if it was made by a single developer. But it’s a really buggy app and it’s supposedly made by one of the largest companies in the world. Random menus don’t open. Random addresses I deleted 5 years ago show up on random pages. Search is terrible. Deleting and going back to amazon via safari.

    This app for iPad used to have a convenient menu bar across the bottom of the screen with shortcuts to your orders, deals of the day etc. Now, if you delete the app and re-download it they appear briefly and then disappear.

    I’ve used this app in the past, and I loved it. It was very convenient for my needs and also made me happy. Now when I was shopping though the app I saw the free trial for the prime, (which it optional) and I chose to accept. But I soon realize I was charged the 12.99 monthly payment when it clearly said “ free trial, unsubscribe anytime.” I was very upset and canceled my order I placed and deleted the app

    When my devices are connected to my VPN service (USA server or any) your app simply does not work. It never loads anything! I keep updating hoping you have fixed your issues. When searching it takes minutes to “still loading” and then “Oh no something went wrong on our end” and “The mobile service encountered a problem, try again later”. Even customer service shows me a picture of an ugly dog pouting “Ohh no, something went wrong. Go to Home” Ordering from other places. Much better online service out there.

    Got an email saying I’d get $5 for downloading. This is actually a bonus given for loading $100 to your amazon account. I’d say the website is better but then they’d break that too, forcing you to use the already broken app. Lacks features, invades privacy, STRAIGHT UP LIES, and wastes time. Plz stop.

    Started out to be a great app a few years back. With each release, the quality and usability of the app degrades. First the print label takes you to a screen where you can’t print. Then the navigation disappears. Can no longer discover new products or promotions to binge buying. You will definitely decrease your iPad users revenue.

    Not at all liking the new update, removing the bottom bar on the ipad that displayed orders, recommendations etc was a bad idea, i would bring it back. You should really be adding better ways to browse, i am constantly looking for whats new around to buy but find it very lacking in amazon, if you improved it i would be spending more!

    I placed an order for two wall charger cords and it gave the green light that the order was sent and the date of arrival, the next day it starts asking me for a payment adjustment and when I tap it the thing directs me to a place for credit cards, please fix that bug in the system. Once you do that I'll give you Five stars

    If we tap a product image, nothing happens. It’s supposed to show the image in a full screen view If I search for an order, afterward, no text box accepts input. This is on any screen. I have to force close the app to be able to type in a text field again.

    New update in the last few months has been somewhat buggy. The new spot for “see all list” (wishlists) has moved to the top right and sometimes it does not even work! There’s some difficulties opening it. It used to be on the bottom screen and it was just fine!

    I have been I Prime customer for almost three years now. I have been exceedingly happy with their service. Even when I had a delivery issue they responded to my email with in an hour with a 400 word personalized response—promising to deliver my package by the end of that day. I plan on being a lifelong customer.

    Amazon - PLEASE fix the picture zooming function. You can no longer single tap to bring up a reel of high definition photos. This is beyond annoying... a double tap, glitchy pinch to zoom and inability to pan once zoomed (plus a double tap to zoom out) is a bad design! This app has always been 5 stars for me but this absolutely ruins the “fluidity” of the user experience. I have to fight your app just to read an ingredients label on a product... quite disappointing. I love me some Amazon, but hate this update.

    I finally get to use the add to cart feature and can view more than 5 previous orders. You are definitely going in the right direction. Only one more thing (the ability to ask questions) and I'll be 100% satisfied. iPhone 6 Edit: App is terrible now. You have no back button when clicking on recommendations or items inspired by your wish list

    It makes absolutely no sense that I have no way to buy a kindle book through the app, I have to go onto the web browser to do it and that just doesn’t make any sense at all. One might find this to be a small inconvenience, and it is in the long run, but it’s stupid that I cannot BUY something through the app of all things.

    I never had a problem with this app until the most recent update. All of a sudden, I can't tap on an image to view it in full screen mode, no matter what I tried. Completely closed the app, restarted & tried again - no good. Completely closed all apps running on my iPad, did a full power down & restart, then opened this app & tried again - no good. Finally deleted the app & reinstalled it, picked a random item & tried to view the image in full screen. Yay! Success! NOT!!! Why? Because after that, everything else I tried to view in full screen brought up the image of the first item, (a cat toy), I'd successfully viewed that way! So, like I said, what the heck?! Update: Downloaded the new update and this annoying glitch still isn't fixed. It's even gotten a little worse, since uninstalling & reinstalling is only good for one full screen viewing. Once you restart the app, you can't get a full screen view. My patience is wearing thin.
