Great App with some unforgivable problems 3/5
There's a scrolling bug that doesn't allow you to scroll down past your 5th card. It makes accessing additional accounts impossible... unless you figure out the 2 possible workarounds. Most won't.
Also - you can't search transactions or access statements past 6 months. This should be at least a year — even if only so you can search for when your card membership fee was last charged.

The ability to schedule a payment in advance was an extremely beneficial attribute. Why would you remove it??? Having same day as the only payment option isn’t helpful at all.

I cannot see all my accounts. When I swipe up to see the accounts that are at the bottom of the screen the app snaps back up to the top.

Figuring out what you owe could be confusing. Be aware that if you have the cash back card that the cash back balance applies on the next cycle after the month you pay your bill. Was on the phone and also online chat with amex multiple times about this spending about 40min for each call with the representative before I figured it out myself. The Representitive doesn’t know how the cash back works. But otherwise if you keep close track and pay your money statement balance owed in full you won’t get interest charges. Good job Amex other wise on the app. Please Keep improving!

I signed up for alerts and for facial recognition. I know right away when a charge hits and I can open the app quickly to see what it is. No more surprises on my monthly bill. Very easy to use.
It is really sad that the developers seem unable to eliminate the forced “acceptance of terms” last dated Nov. 2017 every time someone updated their app. It is more than a little aggravating. It would not be an issue if the terms were actually undated.
The app content, once past the redundant stupidity, is worthy of 5 stars.

My card is expired. I changed my address,They sent my card old address that’s why I didn’t receive it . I tried to order New card to new address by Amex app . They ask my new card security number . How can I get it . That’s doesn’t make any sense.

Inaccurate balance to pay 1/5
I’m struggling with a fraud on a Bank account and now also fighting some interest fee that it’s ridiculous. The App only allows you to pay certain amount. So even thou I made ONE late payment, that day I paid what this stupid app showed me as full balance but now I’m on the second month of interest for ONE time I was late. And nobody is able to help me trying to fix the balance so I can pay everything in full and cancel this credit card
Don’t fall for their cash back offers, they refuse to honor them after taking your money.

I would give this app 0 stars if possible. Over 50% of the time I use the app it tells me the system is not responding or something like that and 100% of the time I have tried to pay a bill it gives a system error. Totally useless.

It keeps track of tour spending, let’s you know when you’ve taken advantage of a member special offer, has ties to various businesses that welcome and cherish its valued clientele and much more!
