The redeem rewards button is not clickable. This has been happening for months and I have communicated to customer service. But still has not been resolved.
It’s annoying to always call customer service to redeem rewards.
Also I have checked. I have the most recent version of the app. I’m using an Apple device.

Card denial when trying to check into hotel! 1/5
Gold Card Member for 40 years and had a denial of my card 5 times trying to check into Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Antonio, Tx on June 17, 2021. I have great credit record with American Express. Very embarrassing situation and glad I had a MasterCard with me.
Called to talk with AmEx on morning of June 18 trying to get some satisfaction, but when I was not happy with offer and I asked to speak with a supervisor. Was put on hold and then told he was busy and someone would call me. Still waiting for that phone call! Very disappointed with AmEx.

Autopay on iOS is deficient 3/5
When trying to set up Autopay on my iPhone, the labels for remaining balance do not align with the labels on the web version.
Also one page in the Autopay setup is a dead end with no way to confirm last entry or proceed to next screen.

Your latest update has broken the payment process where when you try to pay your bill via the mobile app and choose the amount or date or method and hit DONE the user is prompted to exit the payment setup.
Please fix how “make payment” works 4/5
Hey just wanted to ask you guys to change how “make payment” works. Right now, it’s not very user friendly. When you click “make payment” you have to tap the amount, then tap the back button, then tap the payment date, then tap the back button, then tap the payment account, THEN TAP THE BACK BUTTON. I suggest that when you tap your choice of payment amount, payment date, or payment account, it automatically takes you back to the screen where you can then select the next option, instead of needing to tap the back button between each thing. I think doing this will make this aspect of the app more user friendly. Thanks for taking the time to read this review! I love Amex and I love the app.

When you want to make a payment, clicking on the payment amount, then clicking back button then choosing payment date and clicking back button again is awful UX. Go back to what it was before.

I have found this app to be absolutely reliable and accurate. Providing the level of detail needed immediately and on time is an invaluable band welcomes characteristic. Makes transacting and validating purchases, credits and statement reviews simple.

Amex is amazing. This representative took care of my problem. I LOVE AMEX and the amazing service I ALWAYS get. Only don’t like how they cut my credit limit once I paid them down a few months ago. I really needed that available credit😩

Everyone’s credit is different and credit needs during hard times makes predatory lending thrive. 20 percent interest was necessary to keep my business open. Now that I’ve paid off my card I will never use it again unless they reduce the interest on it.

I got up charged because I didn’t receive the payment in the mail because the mail went to the wrong address and I missed a payment. Mind you I just reopened the card so this was the first payment that I was gonna make on the card.

I have been a member on Amex for 5 years and have 2 cards I use them daily I was set with a small limit and never been able to buy anything over 1,000 due to the limit . I have tried to get them to raise the limit and they refuse . I have never been late with them and only one other credit card I had I was late 3 years ago when I forgot to pay it … I change over 8,000 a month on my card and pay it off daily and yet still after all this time they refuse to see the benefit of my business.. oh but they did approve me for a “upgrade” to a card with a $250 yearly fee but I have to keep the same credit limit … lol what a joke. I went to navy federal and was approved for a card with a 25,000 limit… and they even have Amex cards there! Good by American Express you have lost a good card member ✌🏽

The American Express app has made it easy to monitor and pay the balance with such ease. Also, getting a text alert of all transactions make it easy to keep records and reminders for the user.
