The Amwell for Cigna app allows you to see a doctor on your mobile device at any time. Providers on Amwell for Cigna are independent practitioners and board certified. They are available 24/7, with no appointment or referral needed. Amwell for Cigna brings healthcare home, to help you feel better, faster. Access limited to eligible Cigna customers only. Get the care you need quickly - typical issues include: • Bronchitis • Cough • Sinus infection • Sore throat • Urinary tract infection • Diarrhea • Fever • Pinkeye • Flu • Sprains and strains • Cold • Respiratory infection Just choose the type of visit you are looking for and select a provider. Depending on the issue at hand, the doctor can diagnose, suggest follow up, and prescribe medication, when appropriate. If you use Apple® Health, you can choose to share your health information with the doctor during your video visit, such as heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, blood glucose levels, weight, nutritional information, and respiratory rate. We take your privacy very seriously. Your visit with the doctor is secure and HIPAA compliant.     Downloaded the app because I needed my birth control prescription renewed. Came across many problems: • THEY CAN ONLY WRITE YOUR PRESCRIPTION FOR 2 MONTHS- paid at least as much as a regular dr appointment for 1/6 of the medicine. Thought this would be a convenient way to renew my BC 🙄 • App crashed at least a dozen times within 30 minutes of trying to set up an appointment • After finally giving up on the mobile app, I did the webcam appointment on my computer

    I like the concept. I’ve used it several times now, and all the providers have been very capable and trustworthy. The service is great, and the fact that my insurance gives a discount is awesome. The app itself can be tricky. There’s no “contact us” option if have a question that isn’t in the FAQ, and it’s hard to get a message to the doctor once the visit is over (say, when there is a mix-up at the pharmacy, and they don’t have the prescription the dr ordered.)

    My only complaint would be that I did wait awhile.(40ish minutes) The doctor was great. I got a prescription for a sinus infection. It was so nice not having to go to a clinic! Easy easy easy! Will use again!

    My daughter has the flu and used the app. The doctor told her a prescription was sent to her local pharmacy. My sick daughter walked 30 minutes in the snow to pick it up. She got to the pharmacy and no record of the prescription. No way to contact the doctor. No way to contact anyone related to this joke of a company. Finally the pharmacy closes and kicked my daughter out without her prescription. They have our money though :(

    Doctor visit was fine. However, it takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r for Amwell to get a prescription to the pharmacy. Words of warning — their systems are slow. Probably were developed offshore.

    Wow! I hadn’t used this before. But had an allergic reaction to something at work. My eyes swelled up and I couldn’t take off, so I downloaded this on my lunch break. Logged in with my insurance information, added my credit card, and talked to a doctor who was concise and to the point, and also kind! I will keep this service and recommend it to my husband!

    Tried to “see” a doctors no less than 3 times and each time I’m done waiting and watching try stupid preparation video the app crashes. Called he customer service number and there was nothing the rep could assist with. Downloaded MDLIVE and got a dr within 15 minutes. Run don’t walk!!!

    Every time I’m about to “see” the doctor the app crashes. I’ve rebooted my phone and have the most recent iOS upgrade. Waited three different times for a doctor and got the same results. Seems like a good idea if it actually worked.

    This is amazing. I don’t know how long this service has been around, but I wish I knew about it years ago! Cheaper than urgent care, faster than anything, and available 24/7. We got my daughter pink eye medication at 2am on Christmas Day while on vacation out of state. The app is smooth and the providers are always so kind and helpful. Amazing. Amazing.

    I tried it. I figured I was just going to lose 40$ but it worked! The doc asked me few questions and then sent a prescription to my pharmacy. My last visit to the walk in clinic was 120$ so this is pretty sweet.

    When creating an account, you’ve chosen the scrolling month/day/year dropdown. Unfortunately, your data check wants the entry in mm/dd/yyyy which is apparently incompatible with the drop down that I’m forced to use. As a result, I can’t sign up using your iOS app.

    I had a great experience with amwell. My internet connection at home is very poor so when the video failed, the MD called me right away to continue with our discussion. The entire process took about 20 minutes from download to end of visit. As long as you’re using the service for a relatively simple condition it is an incredible service . If you have a long list of standing health problems a personal visit would be better.

    Long story short- I doubt the pharmacy will get called on a routine minor visit... The experience was not good from the app to the technical help to the service. Look at their 1 star ratings. They're there for a reason. I'm formally complaining to my insurance company for using them. It's not easy as advertised. It's obnoxious to use. I'd rather do a personal visit.

    The whole process...talking to Cigna...downloading the app...answering a couple important questions & seeing/talking to the very nice doctor... Less than 20-minutes!!! And the best part is...I’m still in my pj’s & my rx will be filled when my pharmacy opens!!! Awesome & painless!!! I will be using this again for sure!!!

    This is one of most amazing advances in tech to come along in a while. I saw a doctor at 10 pm in my bathroom. I had an easily diagnosed condition, and this was faster, cheaper, and WAY easier than visiting an office. Why aren’t we using this technology with other aspects of life?!

    I loved using AmWell for Cigna for my severe sinus infection. I chose a physician, waited about 10 min and was all done within 20 min. My prescription was called into my pharmacy and it was filled just as fast. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is having a minor health problem to use AmWell

    I downloaded this app but when I opened it, it flickered continuously. Eventually a screen asking to use my location came up but did not allow a selection. Within a minute my pad froze completely requiring a hard reboot. I deleted the app as soon as I could.
