The Tech support I called for a Facebook issue, asked u download it to give him access to my phone.
The sound of “access” give me a quick pinch and I just knew he is upto no good.
Be careful before you allow anyone such access into your device.

This app is being used by indian sounding scammers who act as customer support agents for big companies like amazon, paypal , etc. Do not google support numbers , use the ones given in the respective applications, there is always a “Contact Us” option in each application. They usually ask for your phone model , your name and address, and then to download this app which will give them access to your phone if you give them the access codes but to summarize, THE APP IS SAFE TO USE , just not if your being told to download it by someone pretending to be customer support.
Story - i found this guy out and laughed at him so he started mocking me😂 like bro you mad i caught you trying to scam me😂😂

I got a email saying my PayPal was hacked, and spent over $500+ in Bitcoin. I called the number on the email, and sent me to a scammer. He had me send money on Bitcoin for “security” purposes. When I asked if he would refund me, he wanted me to pay AGAIN. I told him, I had a 9 month old, and if I sent any more money, I would be in the negatives. He kept putting me on hold, as I cussed him out for stealing from a 9 month old. I ended up hanging up, and couldn’t get the money back. Thankfully it was only $10 but that’s all I had in my account. He had me open up my bank account, which didn’t show any Information thankfully or my card number. I went to my bank, and they said they didn’t see anything suspicious. Please be aware scammers are using this app to get people’s banking information, and trying to scam people out of money. I completely locked my cashapp card and took my card that was linked to my bank account off it completely, ordered a new card and got everything situated. Just please be aware!!

When I contacted the company with the number provided down at the end they told me to download this app. Thankfully I didn't make an account with this. I googled lost package from amazon then it shows up first this number +1 (888) 983-2987 with amazon name, i called then the indian accent man picked it up and i told him about my package that i have not received it yet then he asked me to download the app called Anydesk once I downloaded it shows 9 digits number i need to provide him 9 digits which i was denied to give him while i was talking to him i was checking on line about Anydesk app it was showing me scammer from india big careful. If you give number from the app they could access to your phone and wipe out all your money and your information.

It works like a charm. But I’m an idiot and got scammed by a supposed PayPal fraud desk. Out money and hard lesson learned. I was used to using a remote in app app from work so I never questioned the authenticity of using the app. I also called the number back and was told it was PayPal. The problem was the instructions I was given and followed. Heads-up: For the record PayPal handles things like this kind of issue online not by phone as I found out this morning.
Again the app is better than what I used at work. Amazing.

I should have known better, but fell for a phishing text which I thought was from a number I use all the time. The app works great, but some who use it, use it for fraud. Don’t be one of the victims. Stay alert. If it sounds fishy, it probably is. I normally wouldn’t fall for the Amazon scam I received, but like I said, it was from a number related to an issue I have. I cut it off about half way through the call, but one part of it was too late.

I knew something was fishy when I was asked to download an app. I don’t have a PayPal account nor card. I was sent an email stating that I bought BITCOIN for $1037. Now I don’t have $1037 to spend, so I just knew it was fake, but I figured “hey I could get this refund”. He told me download the app and to accept the thingy so he could access my phone after giving him the nine digit code. I found out it was scam from the jump but I wanted to play with him a little bit. I told him there’s nothing popping up on my screen as I’m canceling the request😂. For a while he asked me to repeat it and he also repeated the numbers back to me as confirmation… he got mad and hung up on me.

It’s a remote control app. Of course you’re giving them access to your device, duh. And for all those people who are leaving 1 star reviews, let me ask you even CHECK the reviews before downloading this supposed “scam” app? No, you didn’t. So don’t leave a 1 star review. You got scammed, and it’s your fault that this “microsoft”/“amazon”/“cash app” indian person who is totally not a scammer just scammed you.
For the app, it works great! :D
It works as intended, without any weird paywalls. Only issue is holding and dragging with the touchpad controls, and it doesn’t support custom cursors as every time you move your mouse, it would invert the mouse hue every second frame. And it’s only 60 fps for the mouse. No big deal, and this isn’t supposed to be a bug report as this is a review, but I’d figured that I’d still leave it here since I’m too lazy to go on their website. Anyway, please rate the app based on IF IT WORKED OR NOT, not “oh no i got scammed 😭😭😭”. Stop it. It’s cringe. Get some help.

So I need help. I needed to call Amazon hr and clicked the first number google told me. This person said they would help me and that I needed to download the app and which I did. They then told me that I needed to give them the number that popped up on the screen. I gave them the number that was on the screen. But then I saw this pop up that said they could’ve have access to my bank info and all of that stuff. And there was a little timer down at the bottom to accept or decline. I didn’t hit accept nor did I hit decline. I realized it was sketchy and hung up the phone. We’re they able to have access to my information just by me giving them the number on the screen? Or do they not have access to my information unless I hit the accept button. I didn’t hit accept or decline I just ended the call and then when I opened the app again it was back on the screen with the long number. Do they still have access to your phone and information if you have them the number or do they only have access if you click accept????

I sent in a review but it’s not showing up. Why is that I wonder. here it is again, let’s see if it shows up this time. I lowered my rating because of this.
Unfortunately, I cannot leave a decent rating because of what happened to me. here’s the deal: I am unable to get into one of my Gmail accounts. While searching for the phone number so I could have assistance I came across a number that said was googles number. Realized later it wasn’t, but had already downloaded the app. AND 😡😡 (angry at myself) I gave the guy permission to get into my phone. Fortunately, shortly after, that Little voice that alerts us when something is just not right told me the guy wasn’t a rep of Gmail and to STOP. So I hung up on him & did a hard shut down on my phone. When I rebooted I changed my phone password. Fortunately I don’t store any of my passwords on my phone so he was unable to get anything….I believe… at least.. I hope. SO JUST BEWARE OF WHO YOU LET IN YOUR DEVICE!! I used to think I was pretty smart about all of this, but the guy fooled me. I hope I’m able to keep you from being fooled!

This would get 5 stars as sending remote control requests to my laptop works perfectly and is very easy to use but anytime I try to remote control my iPhone from my laptop I get a security warning which I got the two bubbles to accept and not show again; however it does not allow me to click the accept button. I hit it over and over again and nothing happens until I either close the app or hit either deny or deny and report. Please advise how to fix this or address it in future update. I have an iOS 16.4 iPhone 12 mini.

I received a text message on my phone saying thank you for placing an order. It gave me an order number and then said it was charging my card $989 but never said what it was from so me being confused/curious I called the number on the bottom of the text message to see what this message was about , a woman answered the phone saying she was calling from Amazon Rayal was her name & when she asked what I was calling about I told about the text message I gotten on my phone, and she didn’t ask me any questions about my Amazon account she just told me someone gotten into my account and what I needed to do now was go to the App Store and download this app and give her the code on it. I thought this was odd but I went on the App Store anyways to see what she was talking about and I’m looking at the description to see what this app is and immediately realized I was being scammed . I just hung up after that and she’s now calling and texting me over and over again asking why did I hang up on her, so pls be aware scammers are using this app. Also never used it but probably a great app . I just almost got scammed on here though hopefully this was helpful to somebody .
