Not Free 1/5
Says it’s free, but every workout you click on requires you to pay. Look elsewhere.
Great idea, needs more variety 3/5
I’ve done a lot of yoga in my life and I was really looking forward to being able to get a workout in daily wherever I am with my busy schedule. But every workout I try I keep hoping will be better than the last and unfortunately it is practically the same as the last. The workouts are all focused on putting lots of pressure on the wrists the whole time and for me that’s a really painful and unsafe option. I keep feeling like my wrists are going to break. Other yoga involves so much more standing poses and less wrist involvement which works so well for me. And the one workout I found that I really liked was gone the next time I wanted to work out. Very bummed overall and may be deleting soon because of it.
Just bought the full year! Just went for it. I was bored with my old app. It had the same poses in all the classes. Wanted a change.
Let me rewind and fast forward !!!!
That is all I can come up with now. Other than that this app seems great!
So much love! And a small wish... 5/5
By chicken n waffles
First off, I adore this app. Every workout has made me feel better than before I started.
I love being able to know how long and how many calories I will burn so I can stack certain classes and strengthen my practice.
One thing I would love is to be able to flag certain skill sets that I enjoy. Maybe they could be archived and I could build my own workout. To be able to customize a workout with certain exercises that I really enjoyed would ROCK!
Keep up the good work. Namaste.
Miss the old version 2/5
I absolutely loved the old version of this app. I used it to nail down the basics, but could also turn to it when I felt like getting a good workout in at home. I have tried multiple workouts since the app has been updated. I have not liked a single one. They are not as easy to follow and do not flow as well though it seems the app has tried to develop more flow-based workouts. The only good thing about this is it gets me out of the house and looking for local yoga classes. The voices of the new instructors are awkward and working a bit too hard to be calming. The tone and pace of their voice often do not match the intensity of the workout.
A free trial would be nice. 2/5
This app looks like it would be very useful but unfortunately for them I will not be looped into a year long subscription with out being able to test out the app first.
Not Liking 2018 Update 3/5
I have been using this app for well over a year, maybe over two, and I have always loved it, until the new release.
They got rid of the "building your program" option where you could choose a program for a certain number of weeks and give you your workouts on specified days per week.
Now I have to pick and choose what workout I'll try every day, the app design now also seems confusing and complicated, I now need extra steps to be able to access old workouts...it just seems like they are trying to simplify things but I liked it SO much better before...and I'm sad to see the workouts straying away from yoga into more instense cardio, fat-burning workouts.
What happened to the workout calendar?! 3/5
By Dragon Mom16
I love this app and was using it regularly but then I took a break to try other programs and when I came back, the workout calendar changed 😩😫. I loved how the app would allow you to choose a program and then see a schedule of workouts so you could see which workouts to do daily and track progress. Now it’s just a calendar and I have to choose the daily workouts. Bring the other way back please!!
Problem fixed 5/5
I had not been able to access any videos even though I payed for a year subscription. I had contacted them for weeks before I realized their responses were going to my junk mail. They fixed the problem and the app is amazing.

Watched one workout and couldn’t access the app again. Won’t even open. There are better websites and apps for guys especially.
Good workout, terrible app 2/5
By LoveToFly Steve
Clunky, stops a lot. Worthless if it doesn’t work.
NOT INTENSE...At all 1/5
By 5 yr yogi
You can’t listen to your own music. A majority of the workouts are SHORT, I’m talking 4 minutes short. The “intense”workouts are choppy and unbalanced. And the upper level material is limited. I do not recommend for anyone who practices yoga daily already. I purchased a year long and subscription and I regret it. Do yourself a favor and please move onto any other app.
It’s a free app but you can’t do anything without paying and they don’t tell you until after you sign up. If you pay it could be good but at least make it a paid app...
How do I get my money back! 1/5
Getting my money back seems impossible. I don't like the app and do use it anymore. It renewed automatically and charged me for another year. I don't see anyway get my money back. Rip off.
Login Fail 1/5
The Facebook login doesn’t work; it takes you to log in and then proceeds to tell you that the email is taken. Of course it is!
The app says it’s $12.99 for 3 months, you click to purchase and it changes the price to almost $40. Click “confirm” fast enough and they got you. Bait and switch designed for fast clickers. Beware. Disgusting marketing tactics or major oversight, either way I’m never coming back.
Too short 2/5
The workouts are too short for me. I’m wanting more of a 30min experience and most are 5-15 min. Which means I ve got to do multiple videos and loose the flow.
Takes your info first and only later reveals subscription requirements
Makes you go through a resgistration, then you are faced with 2 options to pay... this should not be allowed this way.... and no option to use anything for free
Too Much Money 2/5
The workouts are descent, but I feel like everything costs money! I first tried a five minute workout, and I thought I’d was great. However, I tried to watch another workout and I couldn’t do any workout without paying! I was really confused and didn’t understand if there was a section of free videos or what. Then I tried to do the one I just watched and I couldn’t even watch that again! I’m not willing to pay all that money for workouts I could easily substitute with riding my bike or going for a walk. Personally, I don’t think this app is worth it, but the workout videos are good and I don’t have any issue with them.
Not what I was expecting 2/5
Purchased this app because I just had a baby and I don’t have time to go to a yoga studio right now. The workouts are just that, workouts with a few “shoutouts” to yoga. I wish the app had more yoga sequences instead of exercise routines. Definitely not what I was expecting and wish I wouldn’t of wasted my money on it.
Bring Back Programs 4/5
One thing I absolutely don’t enjoy about the new update is the loss of the program feature. It was great to keep you on track and heading towards a goal.
Enjoying it 4/5
Love the convenience, fitting in a session whenever possible amid parenting and work responsibilities. I would like more rigorous options and the option to skip previews without clicking my phone multiple times mid practice. Finally, the music....something more soothing and variety would be great.
Rushed, not good for Non-Yogis 1/5
The programs are VERY rushed. Each program rushes between poses so you don’t feel like you’re getting a satisfying workout but rather playing catch-up the whole time.
The instructor in the video moves so quickly between each moves that by the time you’ve listened and move to switch your pose she is already almost done with that set. Also because of how hurried the sets are I feel that I could injure myself - my back, knees, wrist (most of the movements involve downward dog so it’s tough on your wrists) - as I hurry to change poses. It’s just not satisfying and feels incomplete.
Also they don’t really zoom in on the feet, hands or knee positions but shoot only from one angle the whole time. So you don’t get a sense of whether you are doing the movements correctly (and to avoid injury).
And, although a program shows a duration of 29 minutes, you spend 4 on warmup, only 10 actually working out, and then a whole whopping 10 minutes cool down. Misleading.
I’ve done yoga so I’m not a complete beginner. Yet, the movements were too rushed for me. I imagine if you are an advanced yogi then maybe you’ll be fine with this app. But I presume you may not need this app either. Anyway, I think you get better quality for free on YT or elsewhere. I wanted to like this app and hoped it would help me. But sadly it was a waste.
Was better 2/5
I used to use this all the time. The free app was useful for me since I don’t have a lot of money (college student). I could do a good workout a day, but now I can only get one 5 minuet workout and it isn’t updated daily. I’m getting really frustrated, especially since I used to love this app and would recommend it to anyone! Now I don’t want to recommend it. I wish they would have the daily workouts updated to be something new each day, and also have a longer 15-25 minuet workout option that was free.
Could be better 1/5
I’ve been using a Asana Rebel on and off for a while now. The original app was by far my favorite. The more “upgrades” (downgrades) the less I like the app. Hopefully everyone likes to be in downward dog for more then half of the session because that’s pretty much it. Or if you like listening to someone who sounds like a porn actress (sounds horrible.. it is) you also can’t skip any position if they aren’t for you. You have to go through the whole work out. Too bad for the downgrade. Now if only I could get my money back!!
Easy to follow and fun! 5/5
I found this app very useful with my busy schedule!! 5 minutes here, 25 minutes there...LOVE it!
Easy to use; Lacks variety 3/5
Very basic yoga. Wish there was more variety options in different videos- in postures and movements. Seems like a lot of the same things over and over in each video. I am using it daily because I have subscription (you think it is monthly but actually charges you for a whole year!), won’t renew. Overall enjoyable and nice format, content good if you’re new to yoga.
By B in the H
I was inspired by the video clips they show to advertise this app - I’m a decent yoga practitioner, and was looking for something that would challenge me and give me a little cardio boost as well since I’m home with babies and no longer able to escape to my Vinyasa classes. I went ahead and paid for a year subscription, thinking “how bad could it be”? If you’re totally new to yoga, you will probably enjoy this app and find it challenging. If you’ve ever done yoga, I think you’ll find it pretty disappointing, as I did. I think there are better options out there.
Used to love it 1/5
Is there a way to get the old version back. I don’t like the new layout and it doesn’t calculate how many calories you’ve burned and doesn’t sync right? The new coach is also quite annoying? Where’s the old coach very poor update it eliminated all the positive things about the app.
The new is the yuck! 1/5
I would like to have the coach option back, please. What I originally liked about this app was being able to pick a coaching option and know I would be getting a variety of workout for what I wanted to target. Now, it’s like I’m floating in space. See that I do my workout between two jobs, I don’t have the time to scroll through then decided which one I want. I mean, I was here for the coaching program and if I’m paying all this money (since there was an considerable increase for the membership) and not getting it than what’s the point??
Where’ Coach? 2/5
I’m not thrilled about the new version. The coach workouts were perfect for my lifestyle and I recommended this app to everyone. Now I just find it very irritating and much more time consuming to figure out my daily workout. I got into great shape with the old version and had been using it for over a year— I LOVED it. Too bad I just renewed my membership two weeks before this new update. I’m disappointed with the change. Isn’t there a way to have both options?
No more coach? 1/5
I’m not sure if this is how the app is supposed to be or after reading the reviews, there is a glitch. In the old version I liked very much that you told the program your goals and it built something for you, all you had to do was click on the little timer button on the bottom and it would bring you to your workout of the day. Now with the ‘new and improved’, I feel as I am my own coach. What am I paying all this money for the premium if the new premium version is the old basic version? I know they have ‘suggested for you’ workouts but they are a joke...either a 4 minute workout or a 29 minuted workout with a 9 minute warmup and a 9 minute cool down, so basically, an 11 minute workout. I don’t have time in the mornings to do multiple videos so I feel as those this new app is a waste of time and money. It does nothing for my body.
Was excited 2/5
I was excited about this app because the advertisement for the app said FREE so I got the app and I can't even do a stress relief one or at least try one out without having to pay. I was under the impression that the workouts were free until I got the app and opened it and it asked for money. This is why no one wants to work out no one(me) wants to pay for it. I have rent and bills and gas to pay for that I can't really afford to cough up $60 for a subscription I get it's once a year but come on people no one has come up with free GOOD workouts. I got excited to finally do yoga.
Good app but a lot of issues 3/5
Crushes each time I try to log weight. Also, send wrong data to Health kit - about calories and weight.
New Asana Rebel 5/5
I really love the new version!!! The videos and and collections allows you to switch programs on different days. Compared to before you were stuck with the program you signed up for. Definitely more flexibility on options. Only thing I would like to see added would be option to play your own music or playlist of songs.
I dont like the new update. 1/5
Yea the app was getting a bit buggy but I had patience with it. Now I have no idea which routine to do. Some of the voices are hard to understand. I wish there were more flowing exercises and a longer savasana.
This is life changing I lost 2 lb on my first day!! Like on most “fitness” apps do you loose 2 lb on your FIRST day! No! Though you need to pay a certain $$ a month you still get AMAZING work outs for not paying! I LOVE this app I recommend it to everyone right after I finished my workout! This is a very intense program but it is super fun and the best part is.... it actually works!
Love it but there’s a problem 3/5
I wanna start by saying I LOVE this app. My back isn’t the greatest & these work outs have helped it so much. I’ve been using it for over a year now and I didn’t realize how much yoga can help the body. The only downfall for me, which is why I put 3 stars is that I have to open and shut the app a million times lately for my work out plan to appear. And within all the refreshes it asks me to join every time when I already have. Don’t know if anyone else is having this problem, but it needs to be fixed. I think it might just be a glitch not connecting my profile to the program I chose.
Program coach keeps disappearing 1/5
I start a program and the coach button keeps disappearing, it’ll pop up randomly then be gone the next day & im stuck doing individual workouts. Nonsense.
YoGa Morning 5/5
I love this App. It makes adding yoga to my daily routine easily.
New up date :/ 3/5
I really like this app, but for some reason I can’t figure out how to get the programs to play. After it calculates a schedule it just takes me to the calendar and I can’t figure out how to actually run the program. Everything else works perfectly, but not this since the uodate.
Great w a glitch 5/5
By aka brass tacks
Fantastic service that keeps the exercise building at a manageable rate.
However sometimes the app gets glitchy and the videos will get stuck mid work out.
Good short workouts 4/5
I like the workouts a lot and love that there is a timer so I know how much time to expect is left before I get my day started. I wish they had more workouts though. Seems a bit limited for how much we pay.
Fun, but what happened to the courses? 2/5
Like others have mentioned, when I first joined there was a lot of variety. There were courses such as “balance” or “flexibility” that had related workouts that built on each other over a period of time.
After a couple of weeks, I figured the app updated and I’ve been left with the same 30 workouts on the screen, with a changing daily 5 min workout. This has been the case for MONTHS. Asana Rebel writes that there’s even MORE options in their latest update, including 60 new videos and search filters, but I updated my phone and the app, and nothing’s changed.
I can’t access my old workouts (the “past workouts” is just a list that doesn’t take you anywhere). I also can’t use background music with the app. But honestly these two things are minor compared to the fact that it would be nice to have classes organized by category and lessons that build on each other so it feels like you’re making progress.
If it weren’t for the lack of variety, the app would be nearly perfect for me. I’m not a person who easily gets into fitness and I was very skeptical of yoga, but Asana Rebel made it fun to do and made me look forward to doing it. I just wish they fixed their app to do what they say its doing (because obviously I’m not the only one that’s having issues with this). Just make it like it used to be in early February.
Not worth the money- no way to contact developer 1/5
By Desperate & disorganized
You guys do a great job marketing but the workouts are not as good as advertised and the library of yoga workouts is pretty slim. The app features are also not there as advertised. I bought the year subscription but can’t find a way to contact developer to get my money back.
Great yoga but buggy app 2/5
I love the yoga programs and enjoy doing the workouts. Great! I have a year paid subscription and was previously using the multi-week programs with weekly schedules. But there’s been a bug where using the programs is no longer possible and there’s a very clunky workaround in place. It’s been this way for over a month and There’s no indication of when it’ll be fixed. Seems quite a long time to have a basically non-functioning app. And support hasn’t replied to my recent inquiries about it.
Not really yoga… 2/5
…more like yogaerobics. Couldn’t turn the videogamish music playing behind segments off or even down (without turning the instructions down/off). If there had been any kind of free trial—like one day or even one hour—I would have known it wasn’t for me before spending $40 based on the star rating.
I paid for my subscription weeks ago and still cannot get into the Program that I signed up for. I joined the FB page to see if I was just missing something, but apparently there are tons of people in the same situation as me and have had no resolution from Asana Rebel. I want it fixed now or I want my money refunded!
Program not appearing.. 1/5
Like several other recent reviewers, I had enjoyed this app but for the last couple weeks have severely regretted purchasing a year long subscription. It was essentially what I expected from a fitness app until the button to go into my programs (for which I, like others, have a premium subscription) disappeared. I tried removing and redownloading the app, which did work for 1 workout, like others have expressed. However, this is extremely frustrating/inconvenient and makes me not want to use the app. I would try to get a refund but the experiences of other reviewers makes me think it’s not worth it. Also, the *one* response of the development team to another reviewer in the last several days was unnecessarily sassy and unprofessional in my opinion. Yeah, they had a lot to say because your lack of effective updates has made the app next to unusable. That reaction from a yoga based app is even more laughable.
