I am LOVE LOVE LOVING the update! I can find everything for my health plan right here. One suggestion: the meal plans are pointless if there are no measuring details for the ingredients. It tells you what’s in it but not how much of each ingredient you should be using. I’d utilize these recipes daily if I knew how to make them.
Unable to cancel subscription 1/5
I have followed the directions to stop apple from charging and to stop Asana rebel from automatic renewal of the subscription to no avail. There is no option to cancel. I am at a loss (financial & otherwise). Don’t pay these people for anything. It’s not worth it.
Great app but needs to flow better 4/5
I love this app, but there needs to be a way to continually flow from one excercise to another without having to start a new workout.
Waste of $$ 1/5
By Your doggy
Don’t waste your $$
I paid 69.99 for one year subscription and it gets you access to Nothing!! I now have to pay and additional 79.99 if I want access to the actual recipes, workouts, or meditations.
I feel duped, $69.99 just vanished and there is no way to get a refund. Don’t Do It!!!
False advertisement 1/5
The ad that was featured on Instagram for this product and what I received was two different things. Less than 5 hours after purchase I request a refund and was told my comments don’t meet criteria for a refund! So 49.00 just lost!
Not happy at all won’t be making any more purchases now that I know Apple just allows us to be ripped off!
Not happy camper
Fantastic App - One Suggestion Would Make It PERFECT 5/5
This is the best yoga app I’ve used; it’s intuitive, the workouts (especially the short/er targeted ones) are excellent compliments to my regular fitness routine. I would love to be able to make custom yoga playlists in this app - custom lists of, say, 3 5-minute sessions, or even a 5-minute paired with a 20-minute session. Having the on the go access is fantastic, and those options would elevate this app even higher in my favorites.
Great content, App SOO buggy 2/5
By Ordinary iPhone user
I use this app nearly everyday.
The variety of workouts and their quality is excellent, however there are a lot of technical issues.
For some reason the ability to see the workouts you have done and the date they were performed on was removed with the last update? The workout history tab is a random order of workouts you have done...pointless
The app software that shows green dots over the days you have worked out is often inaccurate. It seems pointless when you can’t even see what workout you did on those days either.
Again, for some reason with the last update, downloaded workouts became harder to find.
This app gets more frustrating with every update...
Really Excellent Workout videos 4/5
I took the plunge and was very surprised at the quality and variety of class videos. I very much enjoy the combination of HIIT + vinyasa style, which for me is difficult to find for in-person classes. I’ve been using it daily for over a month now & have enjoyed every session. I went from the 3-month subscription to annual because I think this is my go-to workout app!
Only drawbacks are the lifestyle, nutrition, meditation & “brain teaser” content that exists around the workout classes — I wish they would stick to workouts and maybe some breathwork class videos to stay focused. I’d also like more 10 minute classes (classes are generally 5 minutes or 20-30 minutes) but that’s nit picky. Overall very impressed & looking forward to this app being part of my daily routine!
Prepaid Premium Membership Unrecognized... 1/5
...And I still have three months left!
For the past few days I have been having issues with the Asana Rebel recognizing I'm a premium-paid member for a year which ends in mid-Jan 2020 sometime. It doesn't recognize my "receipt" since my new device and won't let me download workouts. I signed in via the new "Continue with Apple" Apple ID sign in which works fine but it doesn't matter that I've "restored purchase" too many times even after hard reboots, deleting/reinstalling and refreshing my receipt. The screen to pay for another year in order to unlock or see anything I want just keeps popping up. I wrote 2 messages to their customer service within the app, twice, and included screenshots of how the AR app doesn't recognize my membership.
Finally I contacted Apple and after everything they suggested I do (which I had already done except for delete and reinstall the app), even they could not help me and suggested I need to contact AR. Frustrating. Asana Rebel does not seem to care that you're a paid member with almost 3 months remaining- it will lock you out until you pay for another year (which increased by $10 ish) even after the 60% discount. As a last resort I logged out and did not use the direct Apple login and decided to do it the old-fashioned way and enter my email addy but forgot my password: I have been requesting my password multiple times per day for thr past 3 days, and still nothing is showing up in my email.
Sad thing is, I purchased this in Jan 2019 and never used it because of my other yoga/meditation/fitness apps and now that I am getting around to legit trying it, it is not letting me open anything "premium" and making me pay for year 2 right now. Capitalism at its worst... :(
No, wait. The worst might be that I finally got an email and NO password resetting email nor any reply to my help messages. Just an auto email responding to back when I temporarily deleted the app - "Sorry to see you go" even though I've redownloaded. In the message it says my "request has been processed and all [my] data will be deleted from [their] platforms in the next hours..." Unbelievable. So that means by now they've deleted my messages requesting help and new password requests.
It was my fault for paying a full year up front but I feel I should get a 3 month pro-rated refund. Will they? Probably not. This is my shout-out to the world to beware. The app's programming seems to support members who pay in advance each and every year; therefore my Asana Rebel experience so far, is crap.
PS: I still keep asking for password requests and still ZIP. (Checked junkmail too.) As I said, crap!
Developer reached out suggesting I have an account under a different email or that it was a typo. No, to both. Those are both things I made sure to check before composing this review.
To the developer: In fact, you send me emails to the one I kept requesting a new password for. Clearly, that's the correct email.
Better off w youtube 2/5
The built-in functions of the app itself (even in terms of navigating the yoga routines available) don’t feel particularly useful to me. Rarely are new routines added, and within the available routines there’s a pretty inconsistent difficulty rating system. I like having access to some of these routines bit essentially feel like as an “app” it’s not all that useful. Frankly I feel that I have better experiences using Youtube to stream yoga classes.
A yoga app ... eventually 1/5

So every time you open the app ... ‘buy this’ and ‘stupid quiz’ ... delete.
Frustrated with technical issues 4/5
Ive subscribed to this app for a few years , and Ive loved it , as well as been frustrated by the many technical
issues. .For example, .this is the 3rd time this year that I have lost a hard earned workout streak due to an issue with the app. Earlier this week I was approaching a 60 day streak and now it says 10. So unmotivating! Please tell me this issue is being resolved once and for all..
I love this app. Id like to use my Mac sometimes though to complete a work out. Could the app become accessible on Mac???
I’m new to yoga and this has really helped me loosen up for/from running and hiking. Along with strengthening my joints and core. I’m very happy with this app and since it has added meditations, I feel it has surpassed other mindfulness apps I’ve been using. Combining yoga with meditation has really helped me focus. Keep up the good work. I just wanted to say thank you!
Great no more 1/5
By no names left?
I used to love this app. Used it every day. But they keep “upgrading” it and way to often. Leave it alone. You had a good product. It is crap now.
Doesn’t Help You Track Your Progress Sufficiently 3/5
I like how complete these workouts are, but the app doesn’t appear to keep a dated record of what workout you did when. You can see what days you’ve worked out and what workouts you’ve done generally but NOT what workout on what day. This is simple and very useful information that is a glaring omission.
In addition to this, the collections don’t track your progress and for some reason keep switching the order that the workouts are presented in so you can’t even just work your way down the list.
Fixing these would push my rating up to five stars.
Not the same app I paid for 1/5
I bought this app a few years back and now it’s all this subscription nonsense. I used to use it all the time and was looking forward to progressing into intermediate poses, and now I can’t find them; only beginner. I could be missing something, but if that’s the case, then the user experience is lacking. Very disappointed and feel duped. Not a good feeling.
Scam x 2 1/5
This app is so user unfriendly. You can’t undo any answer you give. So annoying. I tried to ask Apple to return it and unfortunately I did a year subscription and they won’t allow it. My bad... shoulda tried it for 1 month first.
2nd review straight to the developer who did not answer:
A developer responded to my review on Apple and I think felt I was not very constructive in my criticism so I will expand my issues with the app here. 1) why is there no way to undo the answers I give? Accidentally said yes to the water question but can’t change it or undo it anywhere. 2) why is there only one answer to certain questions? Then it’s not really a question. 3) why do I get a notification every NIGHT saying “good morning ......” and one every MORNING saying “good night ...” 3a) why is there nowhere to change time zone? If there is please tell me where!? 4) I checked YouTube for videos explaining how to use the app but there’s nothing. I’m a very techy person and I love trying new software and I’m sorry to say I find your app very confusing. Help me to understand it and make use of the year I bought and I’m happy to take my review down. TIME ZONE?!?? WHERE IS TIME ZONE?! Scam!!!!!
Great foundation. Don’t stop improving! 4/5
I love the app and the workouts. I am using it daily for multiple workouts.
I would love to see a bigger variety of class lengths and an easier way to find an ideal workout. Perhaps a filter to sort all of my favorites?
Great App, but could do more for beginners 4/5
By Dilettante Meditator
This is a fantastic app for yoga workouts. I wish they had a section for beginners or noted which sessions are appropriate for those of us who are not conversant in the terms or not particularly flexible (yet).
Workout was good, getting to it was bad 4/5
New user. Start the app, asked for name, age, height, weight, and goal. “We’ve created a personalized workout” it says (it hasn’t). Then asked for credit card, marketing info, and Facebook login before ever seeing a workout, or even what’s available. Once through all that, tossed into a sea of “featured” and “new” workouts, music, a survey, with no guidance whatsoever on where to start. Managed to find my way to a category list and an appropriate workout, which was great, but very nearly bailed out before getting there.
Not happy 1/5
If you are already in great shape this would be the app for you. However, if you are just beginning or have physical issues this app won’t really help you. They should somehow work that into their advertising.
Best Exercise App❗️ 5/5
This app has changed my life physically and spiritually I’ve been using this app for a little under 2 years now and the results are insane I encourage everyone to start doing vinyasa through this app.
Downloaded this app after seeing a 15 second clip on IG. Assumed I could preview the workouts if not have a free trial.
Why would I pay for a year of something that has no reputation & have no idea if I’d even like the interface or the workouts?
Whoever owns this is really missing the point, which should be making something so good that it becomes your daily routine.
By simple little sushi roll
Hi. So I saw ur ad on instagram and I thought this seems pretty cool so I downloaded it but it’s not letting me register and keeps giving me errors like email or password is invalid, when it’s not. I mean dude! I know about MVPs and stuff but you might wanna handle ur registration before doing campaigns.
Was not made aware of subscription policy 1/5
I downloaded the app thinking it is free and for some reason was charged for a yearly subscription, not less... it might be me but i was not made aware enough and now had to pay 60$
Used to work 2/5
New update new interface, workouts don’t load so you’re paying for something you can use BEYOND frustrating.
Perfect intro to yoga 5/5
I’ve tried yoga before but sessions were too long and too challenging. Asana matched me up to my ability and my sessions are 20-30 min rather than 60-90. Very doable and I feel I can stick with it and make progress. Love it.
Meditation option missing 4/5
I like to use the meditation for sleep. However, On several occasions I have not been able to find the menu under the Explore choice. Where does it go? Otherwise, the more I become acquainted with this app, the more I like it and the more I use it.
Hidden costs 2/5
By mike JR 2120
It makes you log in through Facebook or provide your email, turn several steps and questions before it discloses any costs forces you to sign up for a monthly fee before continuing. Wast of time and dishonest
Navigation really lacking! 3/5
By Few flaws
I am enjoying this app! The home page is beautiful, the health tips are fun, and the yoga teachers and music are great!
The layout is very clean looking, however the navigation is clunky and lacking. I’ve been following along with a series, but each time I open the app there is no way to go straight to and access the collection I’m in the middle of doing! To navigate You would go to “search” where there is no search bar, confusing... the pages are full of pictures and font that look lovely, but it takes an unnecessary amount of time to wade through all the visual stimulation to find an individual workout.
This app really needs to SAVE your last workouts, have a page for workouts you’ve recently completed and series you’re in the middle of and have a way to search straight to whatever your looking for. It’s SO frustrating to click on the progress calendar, see your last workout but not have a way to go right away from there, or anywhere to the collection you’re in!
I love the short, fast, powerful workouts. There’s tons of videos to choose from and they’re not boring like some YouTube videos.
Bad App that steal money away 1/5
This app is really bad and steal my money away. For the first time I use this app it asked me to choose one payment plan and it said it’ll give 7 days free trial and I can cancel free trial anytime within 7days. However I found that this app charged me annual plan fee within 7 days(can’t remember and is $80 it $90 something) I tried to contact Apple to issue an refund but Apple said they can’t because instead of gave me a free trial this app charged me the plan fee directly for no reason. Apple let me to contact this app to get my refund. I tried to contact them several times and there’s still no response. This happened almost a year ago and I’m still waiting for them to contact me, but I feel those money are gone forever for no reason. This App is totally not recommended.
My Favorite App Ever 5/5
I don’t think it’s possible to love an app more than I love this app. Every time they update it and add new features and workouts it gets better and better. I feel better than I’ve ever felt and I love every single thing.
Bravo, Asana Rebel! Keep up the awesome work.
Tricked out of money like everyone else 1/5
Like a lot of other people, this app tricked me into paying full price for a year- and apple refused to refund me. I felt like it must have been my fault- maybe I didn’t read the fine print- but now I’ve seen all the other reviews saying that they too were tricked out of their $ so unfortunately it looks like I’m not the only one. The app was so full of glitches that I couldn’t use it.
Great yoga partner 5/5
I'm no longer able to attend scheduled yoga classes and Asana Rebel has become my workout partner. Really enjoying the variety of teachers and their technique!
I would suggest showing different workouts depending on the time of day.
All around amazing 5/5
I’ve been a member for more than a year and this is the best app out there. I canceled my gym membership and meditation apps because Asana Rebel is all you need for total mind, body, spirit wellness. It just needs more barre and Pilates to be a perfect app to meet total wellness needs.
Lots of options, could use more modifications and diverse body types 4/5
I primarily use this app for the exercise modules. While many of them are great, most are super downward dog centric, which is fabulous if you are one of their 104 lb 6’ tall yoga models. A ton of downward dog is not so rad if you are of a curvier or heavier build, or have any sort of issues with your shoulders, wrists, headaches/sinuses. It’s cool to see that they are getting WOC to model in some of their videos, but for the most part they still stick to the same emaciated ballerina body or in one woman’s instance, she’s muscular as hell but with close to 0 body fat. That’s totally cool if you are built like that, but most of us aren’t. I’d like to see better representation in their modules, there are many diverse body types who can do yoga. It would be nice if there were modifications thrown in for those of us who have injuries to our shoulders or knees. I do get a good workout from these videos, however they need to keep up with the zeitgeist of where we are at culturally: which is one of more inclusivity and diversity. Not super down with the #thinspo aspect of this, but again, I do get a good sweat and feel my muscles and form improving. Worth the $13 a month but the second I find something more inclusive I am jumping ship.
False advertising 1/5
It advertised that it’s 58.99 a year and when I click to purchase it’s saying $79.99??? $79.99 a year is tooooo much! I was going to pay the $58.99 but no way would I pay $79.99 or $49.99 for three months. Fix you description
Loving this 5/5
By Leo Island Girl
Workouts are everything. Thank you.
They did not let you try for free you have to pay if you want to used.
I wanted to try this app out before I purchased. After a couple weeks of using the free features, I went to pay and had trouble connecting. When I logged on from another device, the price went from $58.99 to $79.99. I canceled the registration. A $21 USD jump? I’ve never seen this before. Other apps give you a free trial and the price doesn’t jump when you sign up. That is a 36% increase, other streaming services will go up a dollar or too. I’m disappointed in this practice, I would have happily been a paying customer.
Someone who won’t go to a gym. 5/5
This app is wonderful! I hate going to the gym and this provides me with everything I need. I also travel a lot for work and for fun so being able to take it with me anywhere I go is ideal! When I first started loosing weight (about 50-60lbs. when it was all said and done) these workouts helped me build strength and they toned everything. It was great! Paying the same amount yearly as you would for a monthly gym membership is totally worth it in my book. 10/10 would recommend.
Also, they have a new daily planning guide for focus, sleep, exercise, water, and meditation. I just set up my reminders but it seems to be beneficial so far. I’m excited to use this new feature!
Eats battery like crazy 2/5
I like lots of things about this app, but in the last few weeks, I realized that my iPad was dying way earlier than I thought it should each day. I finally realized I could figure out which apps were using battery. It turns out that over the last 10 days, this app has been responsible for almost 40% of the battery my iPad has used IN TOTAL, even though I only ever actively use it for 10-30 minutes per day out of the several hours I use it actively each day. It has been running nonstop in the background, doing who knows what. I have changed some settings so it won't update in the background now, but even so, this is ridiculous.
I would like my money returned please 1/5
I was searching through the App Store for a yoga Pilates FREE app to use at home and on the road. I clicked on this app to read about it, and next thing I noticed is that my bank was drafted the $58. Very upset about this, and couldn’t really afford this luxury. I haven’t used the app at all and it is beyond my abilities anyway. Can you please get back with me to refund me the money. Thank you
Ales you login before seeing anything 1/5
That’s a bad user experience. Stop forcing users to give your their emails before getting any value.
If you change this I’ll change the rating.
Good workouts, Background music has to stop! 3/5
Really like some of the yoga sessions, good variety of cardio vs restorative, i enjoy when the instructor gives breath and body cues reminding you what muscle to turn how etc. nice stuff!
But I have to cancel this app soon because the Background Music is the SAME in every workout, even through the cool-down shivassana, its driving me crazy!
App people, please either add a setting that allows us to turn off background music, or at least change it up for some variety! Its not bad in and of itself but the same repetitive tune in every workout is driving me crazy.
Below average app 2/5
There are a few things I dislike about this app.
1. Every single work out has the same music. It’s not really music either it’s a 15-20 second loop that plays on repeat. It is pretty annoying.
2. It sounds like they’ve auto tuned the instructor voices...or they are using robots.
3. They don’t use names for many of the poses so unless I’m staring at my phone I’m not always sure what they want me to do. Staring at my phone constantly means I’m not in great alignment.
4. Workouts that are flexibility based don’t seem to follow the flexibility rules taught in yoga classes or by personal trainers.
5. The intensity ratings seem pretty ambiguous. Sometimes I’ll go for something really intense and it doesn’t even work up a sweat while other times something apparently chill kicks my butt.
I got this app because I moved somewhere without a yoga studio. Overall I’ve been fairly disappointed with it. I will not be renewing my subscription.
From busy to I can do this! 5/5
Great app, great yoga practice. The voices of the instructors are perfectly balanced, keeping you with the flow.
