AT&T THANKS APP 1/5
Don’t get the app. It hasn’t let me log in for a week now. It keeps making my screen go blank. It has made me very frustrated.

Invasive scanner app 1/5
TOS clearly state that the app is spyware: it gets you to “consent” (by burying it in TOS that nobody reads) to the app watching your use of your phone, other apps, what you do in other apps, and reporting all of it back to ATT (or some company working for ATT). It’s invasive, and sneaky, and also COMPLETELY unnecessary for the stated usage.

I continue to get an error message when trying to order tickets for Ticket Tuesday. The message is “Uh oh. An error has occurred. Please check back later.”

Tried to use the app, create and account and whatnot. The app does whatever it wants. I click “create account” and it backs itself out to the main screen on its own. Same goes with every other option. Tried to “copy the URL” as it states in the directions. There’s no new credentials to log in with, just a web page with the same exact screen. Can’t do anything. Most unfunctional app I have ever encountered.

Honestly, getting ATT was a struggle. The technicians for their home installations were rude. Their customer service were rude. I have crappy cell service at home and at work. But this discount service has definitely come in handy from time to time.

This app does not work. I will not use language I want to describe it. And as I read on another review AT&T customer service is horrible. Once in a while you get someone that actually can get things done and you can understand what they are saying. Good luck with this one.

My friend recently just won two tickets from her Verizon rewards. I thought wow that’s nice I wonder if ATT has something similar. Nope just a loading screen for 40 minutes every Friday. How sad.

I just got this app. It won’t let me create a password or put my phone number in. It is in an endless do-loop that takes me right back to page that asks for password. Fix this or get a new programmer!
Deals do not load 1/5
Tells you to wait until noon on Fridays for the event access deal and nothing loads for 45min+ and then says all tickets claimed when it does finally load.

Quite literally. Log on at 12 EST Friday to see what event tickets will be available. Right. Logged on at the time designated and it does NOT connect. So apparently what tickets will be a ailable to long term customers? NONE. Fix the servers. Fix the app. And improve your cellular while you’re at it.
I keep downloading this app to see if anything has changed. I even tried on another phone but this app won’t let you fill out anything before it exit out of the app. I try to put my sign in name I put 3 letters and it kicks me out. Something wrong with this app.

Easy and Convenient App!
AT&T is not what they used to be 1/5
I searched for internet cheap in my area and it sent me to the access from AT&T and I filled out application and I got approved but when I called to set up service they said it wasn’t in my area yet. But I have had service with them for A very long time and I bought a tablet and it has to have internet service as well as my phone. So why was I sent an approval letter? They shouldn’t have sent me a letter saying I was approved ! I think after paying $300 a month for the 3 lines of wireless and my tablet for as long as I have they would put it my area, u think???
Log-in trouble 2/5
Let me start off by saying that I love AT&T and I appreciate the perks that this app offers which shows that AT&T appreciates me as a customer. The reason for the two stars is that I keep having trouble log-in and when I get logged in I get logged out or says my credentials aren’t valid, but after a couple tries it lets me in.

This app is great. I enjoy the opportunity to receive free tickets or discounts on services. I already use quite a bit of them so the discount and sometimes free things are a welcomed sight.

I try to sign up or log in and the screen refreshes 5 seconds after I click it. Back to the starting screen and repeat. Will not let me do anything.

I like it for the bogo movie tickets. Definite plus. There are occasionally some good food coupons/discounts to redeem. Contests are cool, if you are a winner. But incentives/perks could be improved. A certain other carrier does blow these out of the water, but we shall not name them here. Lol

There’s no way this actually has five star reviews. It’s a terrible app. It’s always been terrible. The intent is obviously that AT&T doesn’t want you to use these benefits, but wants to pretend that they offer them.
I have to reset my password every single time I use this app, but when you go to do the “forgot password” option on the app it will stop you mid-type and not allow you to reset it. It’s done this for at least a year. You also cannot purchase without using the app.
Here’s the work-around.
Go to your computer.
Reset your password at the AT&T website.
You’ll have to do this twice because the first time your new password won’t work.
Now- restart your phone.
Enter your new (the second) password.
Now you’ll be able to use it.
God help you if you want to do the movie ticket Tuesdays. You may also need to login to Fandango, which might send you back into the above loop of doom.
Please note that now that they’re using Fandango- there’s a convenience fee of $4.40. So that’s fun.
Don’t think “keep me logged in” will work because it won’t. Don’t think remembering your password will work because it won’t. Just do what I say above and save yourself 30 minutes.

I normally wait until movies hit digital. With the AT&T Thanks app, I now will buy tickets on occasion to watch a movie when it hits theaters. It is pretty great to save on watching a movie with my wife.
