This app is just a web view of the mobile website, which is fairly difficult to use. Most of the form inputs zoom in when selected, which causes labels and other information to move off screen. Many touch targets are too small, and select menus are inconsistently implemented—some native, some custom.
Most of the difficulty using this app (and website) could be eliminated by using appropriate zoom parameters in a viewport meta tag.

The app won’t open on my brand new iPhone. Otherwise the app is great. Just needs an update or something.
The developer contacted me. Seems like it’s working much better. I’ll give it 5 stars. I really like this app.

Blank page opening app.
Get emails with updates on both my bands, yet when I try to log in, it not only doesn’t accept my password, but also tells me there is no email associated with an account.

It’s a shame because the intent is so great. And when it works, it works (about 1% of the time). Good luck logging into the app. It’ll just load and load forever until you finally decide to abandon all your hopes and dreams, and just go back to community college.
Sorry, but this app is garbage. Can’t change a profile pic. Can’t upload new show listings. I love the idea, but please, get it together. It’s unusable as it is now.

Bandsintown manager is glitch ridden, counter intuitive, and unreliable. How can an app be so terrible? I would expect more from a high school developer.

It’s getting worst... lags, just won’t load, and just a white screen... it was working prefect... then I updated... please fix. Now doesn’t even load... just says loading Bandsintown... but nothing is loading...
Like several reviews I’ve read here, login attempts “fail” and after rebooting it only works for a day, if I’m lucky. Super frustrated because this is linked to my website and I can’t update my up coming shows. I’m constantly on the go and what was once a convenience is now the opposite.

Idk if it’s because they stopped supporting this app or what, but I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, logged out and back in, and nothing gets this app to log in consistently. Occasionally, if I delete it and reconnect to Facebook etc, it will work for a day, but the next time I try to use it it fails. So I end up going to my computer to make updates because it’s far simpler than dealing with this app. Unfortunately the new bands in town app doesn’t work either. It just gives me a pop up that says “failed to login” when I try to update my shows there. Would love to use this app again but as it is right now. They are both broken on the artists/managers side. Very frustrating to try to use as an indie performer who has 300+ shows a year.

The app crashes every time. I have to constantly redownload it each time I want to add a new gig. Insanely inconvenient.

When I first downloaded and opened the app, it worked fine. However, after I closed it and tried to re-open it, it loaded to a blank white screen. Every time I want to add a gig or update any information, I have to delete the app and re-download it. Very frustrating experience.

This app used to be great for me keeping fans updated with new gigs and using it as my gig schedule but now it continues to just give me a white screen so I have to delete and re download each time to add an event. Then when I leave the app and come back it’s back to the white screen. Fix this soon

Dear BIT developers: stop. Just go backwards about two updates from this “new and improved” update. I used to life the ease and simplicity of the old app and all this new one does is crash and irritate. Go work on something else and leave this thing alone!

I downloaded this app twice. The first time was on my iPhone 8 and it always took me to a blank page. I just got a new iPhone X, gave it another shot and it’s doing the same thing. I was able to enter 3 gig dates in the app before it completely quit. Would love to be able to use this app, but it has never worked with me.

My app tends to be loading more often than not and I receive login failure prior to having an option to even log in. My login is via Facebook and my Facebook is working fine. Having changed anything either. Could use an update to fix whatever bug this might be.

I used to be able to use this app all the time. One day I tried to log in and it froze and never came back. I deleted the app and reinstalled. Never came back. Not sure why but it’s affecting my website traffic.

Every time it tells me to claim my page, it directs me to log into Facebook but whenever I click the button I eat an error message that reads “error, not signed in, please sign into continue”. Fix the login screen so I can actually get into the app...
I can’t even login to my account. I could log in to my same account on browser easy but won’t get me through in the app. Weird.

Hello! I love Bandsintown however this app is not really usable on my IPhone SE. When adding a show it is simply impossible to add any information; I can’t enter anything without selecting from the pop up menu, and clicking on the pop up menu doesn’t actually work. I’m excited for when this works!!!
Ive used this app for a few years now. It was simple and effective for me AND my fans. I felt confident in promoting my shows thru it and asking fans to "track" my band. Its a drag that it has so many problems now. To me a classic example of: if it aint broke dont fix it. A year or so ago I would have given 5 stars...unfortunately, giving it 1 star now. May have to completely switch over to songkick if things dont resolve very quickly.

I heard a lot of good things about this app. I installed it hoping to have my bands dates shown, but the app would never let me link it to my Facebook page. Really frustrating. Hope they get it resolved.

This used to be a simple, easy to use real app. Now it’s a barely usable web app that clearly no one has tested. It traps you on web pages with no navigation controls. Autocomplete lists truncate and appear over your typing. It’s an embarrassment.

If you could please make it easier to select/click on the “prompted” button that would be helpful. For example when I type in venue Country as “United States” a button to click on pops up and I have to try and click it AND re-enter the info at least 3 or 4 times before it works. And multiply that times every venue info box. Fix this bug and the rating will go up. Every time I get a gig I know this hassle has to happen. Seems simple to fix. Also the changing of an event photo doesn’t always work....

Nothing but frustration. It won’t update, it won’t send messages to our fans, it won’t sync with Facebook. It’s come to the point where I might have to abandon it completely. It’s a shame. I love Bandsintown in general and love the concept. But this app is enough to make someone’s head explode. The sheer wasted hours on this has got to add up to thousands of $ worth of my life.

Hey Support - I just emailed you some details on issues that are making the new app unusable.
In the meantime: do not update. The app went from lifeline to concrete shoes in a deep lake.
I have used this app for years. There were issues with the new version, but updates seem to have fixed my problems. Changed my review to reflect the app working now. Thanks!

Seriously, the app worked great before the new update and interface. Somehow the developer has made it MORE difficult to post shows than it was before. The app is riddled with bugs and it now takes me twice as long to post tour dates.

Shows error, won’t let you post gigs certain times. And even when you delete a gig because of a cancellation/other reason, it continues to post the gig on Facebook.

I have been using this app for years and it has been amazing.... Until a month ago! Once I downloaded the new version everything has been glitching and not working. I have to spend 10x the amount of time to try to post my gigs and some days it doesn’t work at all. This is an app that I have used daily as I am a professional musician and I have it linked to all of my social media. I really hope they can fix this quickly or I will have to start using a different app

Sucky app and network. At login, it keeps saying no network connection even though I am connecting to the page itself. So I am clearly connected. Fix this!!!

A year ago I would have given it 5 stars...back when it made sense and was a useful tool...and functioned. Now it doesn’t do anything but get stuck on a syncing page with my fb pages. No ability to post shows, no anything. Used to be awesome and helpful...right now completely stupid and pointless. Is there a way we can “update” the app to the old version that worked?
