Made a couple of purchases using my Best Buy credit card and to my surprise, I saw two new geek squad charges totaling $200 on a totally separate cit card. How did you guys access my other credit card and who gave you permission to charge my card?
Do NOT let them show you anything related to geek squad when making a purchase here!!!
Also, my rewards points were worthless when it came to purchasing any gift cards and could only be used for pricy Best Buy items.

Amazon doesn’t carry most of the stuff they sell. So counterfeit products are being sold by third parties as if they are genuine. This doesn’t happen with Bestbuy. I think if Bestbuy keeps on doing what it is doing, it will win this fight against Amazon. I don’t trust Amazon anymore.

This is by far the worst app I’ve come across. For a company as big as Best Buy, you’d think they’d be able to get their app working properly. I’ve only had the app for a month and in that month the app has only recognized my login ONCE. Went to make a payment to the credit card and I get an error, which has been showing up for the past 4 or 5 days. But accessing the site online allows you to access the Citibank page, so the issue is with the app. Awful app. Deleting immediately. Don’t waste your time with the app, just access the site online.

They need some new people. It’s not saying much for their technology level if the APP breaks so easily.

won’t let me sign in 2/5
my username and password are stored in the iCloud Keychain. The best buy app won’t let me sign in using the stored information. Whenever I’m trying to auto-fill the username and password using Face ID, NOTHING is filled.

For a company that does such a great job with in store customer service. It’s surprising how little effort they put into their app. I say little because they make it seem like you can make a payment conveniently but when you try and log in: either your account will be locked for 24 hours even if you know your log in information or you will have to get again reset you password. customer service will inform you can’t make a payment through the app and have to go to a web browser.
I see Best Buy responds to these reviews, but how about you respond to app problems. Know that this single significant frustration of trying to pay my credit card bill was the sole factor of me buying my home appliances other than at Best Buy store. If I can’t feel secure in making my payment quick, conveniently I won’t make large purchases from your store.

I just spent 2 hours on the phone with Best Buy and Citi employees that couldn’t figure out how to help get my account set up through the app or online. I’ll be paying off the purchase I recently made and will be closing out my account.
It’s good for shopping, but it’s the same as going to the website.
Missing the “preview in your space” feature 4/5
Fell in love with the option on my iPhone which allows the user to get a feel for how a TV would actually look in your home before going through the headache of installing...just to find out it’s too big or doesn’t match with your decor. Unfortunately the iPhone screen felt too small and figured why not try it on my iPad but after downloading the app and trying multiple TVs...the feature is nowhere to be found! Please add the feature to iPad as well. Augmented reality is amazing and should be enabled on every device.

This is one of the worst app ever I used. Whatever we search or try to view any product, only message we get is “Problem loading page”. It is better to view the product or search in bestbuy.com instead of using this app. Not sure developers are aware of this issue or they think it is fine to release an app with these many problems. It is really frustrating to use this app. Very bad user experience.

I check this app every morning for Buy of the Day. Been using it a long time. For some reason it now often has problems loading the images. I don’t know if that’s the app or the server end. Either way it really spoils the experience ....why can’t this app work consistently like it used to? It used to be really solid. Not so much anymore....

What Happened to Apple Pay??? 1/5
This app used to have Apple Pay which is also now accepted in Best Buy stores. Apple Pay has now disappeared with only PayPal and visa checkout supported in addition to traditional card payments. Without the inclusion of Apple Pay in the app I can not recommend using it for purchases. It’s fine for browsing products but why did they remove the most secure form of payment that takes full advantage of the biometrics in your device???

I use several shopping apps. Amazon. Well Mart. B&H. They all load fast and work fine. Best Buy’s app even after the latest update is slow and sluggish. Item Photos take forever load and most of the time I just give up. I have no such issues with the Web version on my desktop, just using with my mobile phone.

So I went to purchase an iPad Pro as they try to compete with Amazon. Order placed successfully. Delivery date then moved. Then the order was cancelled. Can’t be serious they are out of iPad Pro 11 inch? I don’t find this business honorable. Brick and motor stores trying to do e commerce need to step up. How much time do you have to waste? A lot, you say? Then pull yourself on up to this app and try using it over WiFi. It takes forever for anything to load on the app. Needs to have some kind of modification to load things more efficiently over WiFi.

Great app. It's fun for window shopping and also ordering some things you might want to buy, and it also works with Apple Pay so when you check out its easy, fast, and convenient. And if you sign up you can earn points for stuff that you buy and get cash back. As well if you earn a 1000$ dollars in points you qualify for elite status which includes free shipping on anything in the app, extra discounts and perks. You can also make list of things you want to buy and put them in specific folders so you won’t forget what you wanted. As well as being able to collaborate with other that have the app and make a registry for baby showers, birthday day party’s and weddings.

So I’m sure this is a great app outside of this experience that I just had, but it was a bit too much to not give a bad review. I tried ordering a new iPhone XR for a $25 per month promo, but could not check out because it would not allow me to click ”I agree” to the terms and conditions. The button to do so was grayed out instead of blue (like it should be), so I was unable to place my order. The deal then expired and I was left with the $30 a month instead, losing $100 for the total value of the phone. I tried to talk to customer service throughout, and after, the duration of the promo to no avail. Additionally, they wouldn’t even give me store credit towards the phone for the same deal since it expired. The ONLY reason I was unable to take advantage of the deal was because of the Best Buy app and website not allowing me to check out. I’ll be willing to change my rating when I can at least have some compensation for my order.

Easy to use app, can sometimes be misleading if an item is actually in stock or not. So I always call to double check how many items are left. I love that I can use apple pay instantly and have the order on the way. Best Buy has treated me well.
