    I was ridding my scooter then I tried to end it and I couldn’t and I kept on turning it off after that the app stole $130.58 for no reason and I have met more people with the same problem you do get your money back but it takes a couple of days in my opinion this was a very bad service.

    App used to work great but now, depending on how much you zoom in on the map, scooters disappear, reappear, or just don't show up at all. What an update.....

    I rented about 20 different times and about 80% of the time the bike was way too slow or it would just stop or there would be some other type of problem. Then Customer Service is impossible to reach for any type of refund. Also, the bikes are all grouped together in parking spots and it’s impossible on the app to tell which ones have low and high battery. Do you think it would say it right on the bike just like other companies do but this company apparently doesn’t have their act together.

    The app would be great if the bird scooters worked reliably. In Austin and tried to use scooters that say they are in good working order but wouldn’t pickup or bad other problems. Tried to get reimbursed for the problems but the reimbursement process is removed from the app and online help doesn’t offer it either. Have to dispute it with my credit card boo! #1 Fix the scooters #2 add disputes and customer help back to the app

    I’ve tried four times and literally 50% of the time it has not worked for me. The scooters are constantly dead or have some kind of mechanical/electrical issues. Try a different company. Go anywhere else but here. Reached out via the app for help, but they haven’t responded.

    they don’t seem to care that this community is exploding in population size. the review about the service areas is spot on, and I’m so glad I learned about that before trying this. like this reviewer, my plan was to start in the zone, but apparently my destination is a few miles outside it. hate this company now and will continue to avoid it unless they change the “operational zones” by getting rid of them entirely. People are paid to collect these and charge them. Let people outside the operational zone make some cash and let people get to where they need.

    the only option you have to pay is to prepay a fixed amount with $10 being the lowest you can add. it’s the stupidest thing i’ve ever heard who wants to pay $10 just to take a $4 scooter ride it’s ridiculous. i used to use the app a lot but there are other scooter services where you can pay per ride so this one is just obsolete now.

    This app is confusing and has a mind of its own. Also the scan code and end ride are in the same spot and when navigating from screen to screen will change so when you go to add another rider if you’re not careful it will end your ride then charge you for it! I had 7 charges on my account at one point! I was refunded a few charges but that was it. Was still overcharged!!!! Also, I clicked on the button to turn off the automatic charge button which is not clear from the beginning to do, so be sure you do it… but in all honesty… I did it and somehow every time I checked to see if it was still clicked on, it was automatically clicking it back to auto charge!!!!!!!! Mind blowing! Also I couldn’t find a person to speak to just email and of course they charged me anyway. DONT USE THESE STUPID SCOOTERS OR THIS APP!!!!!! AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!!

    When riding close to zone edge, scooter frequently detected location incorrectly and stopped the ride. The parking zone was marked in the middle of the road, had to take the scooter there while risking to be hit by a car in order to finish the ride.

    It’s crazy how expensive is this service with this company, I rent a scouter in Atlanta and my friend chose a different brand, we use both at the same time, same distance and she paid $15 for her ride and I paid $40 for the same, I’ll never use BIRD again in my life.

    Pretty sure this company buys reviews. I was enjoying buying rides every time I needed them , but I found out I was being auto charged, and I never selected the auto deposit option to deposit money into my account when depleted. I want to repeat I never selected that option, and I never do for all apps. As a software engineer, I am really appalled, but not surprised since most of these escooter companies are going bankrupt.. Really sketchy.. might report this.. buyer beware

    There’s no point in buying a pass. I bought one, for 3 minutes free every ten minutes, everyday for a month. Yet, whenever I go to ride, money is withdrawn and charged to me, whilst I’m well within the 3-minute limit.

    La aplicación no te deja eliminar tus tarjetas de crédito o débito. Tampoco, te da la opción de pagar un balance pendiente en caso que uno le deba un dinero por no tener el balance completo en la aplicación. Están fallando en lo básico.

    I went in the store to pick up a soda and somebody stole my ride so when I came out, I ended the ride with the app. I was unable to take a photo because I don’t know who took the thing

    I was charged for not parking in the correct place even though I definitely parked in the correct spot. I have filed more than one support ticket and it’s been over a month of no help. They didn’t even take it out of the money I already had within the app. They charged me separately! I read they weren’t doing good financially, so be careful they might try and do this to you to pull themselves out of the red!

    The app was difficult to use as we tried to scan the scooters. Offered a $25 24-hour only pass we thought we declined but found out later we purchased. We completely lost that money as it ended up charging us a separate charge for the actual ride. We ended up paying $40 for a mile and a half ride. Then it would not end the ride as we had really poor cell phone coverage near the concert. We have used lime and Uber and not experienced this type of issues. Overall a very expensive bad experience.

    Made four attempts to use a Bird scooter. That is I tried four different scooters, got charged each time, and the scooter would not move despite showing in the app that there was sufficient charge and starting the ride/rental period. Instead of getting somewhere soon, I wasted a half hour screwing around with this Dodo Bird scooter company.

    When you’re choosing this app on the side of the street because you’re tired and need to get somewhere, you want to just be able to understand how much you’re paying. I know if I went back now to try to do the same thing I wouldn’t be confused, but at the time I was frustrated with not understanding what I was paying, thinking I might actually be paying way more than I need in credit, then getting the actual bike started. The instructions for taking your first ride, or a new user experience need to be simplified from the full or continued user experience. I was a hair from cancelling the whole thing and beginning a refund process. Then, once I did figure it out, I was charged $20 for my friend and I to go 0.75 miles. That just seems a bit steep. I’ll be trying Lime to compare.
