Functional for its purpose 5/5
If you’re a GFW driver, you surely know this app does what’s needed (and is better than the text orders from the old ROTR days, haha!)
Suggested minor improvements:
1. Fix the repeated push notification. If we’re busy or don’t respond to an order within 5 seconds, our phone can get 10+ notifications within 2 minutes. This proceeds to crash the app and force us to hit View/Cancel in the pop up window every time the notification went through, which can lag due to overload, as the notifications continue to come in, worsening the crash.
2. If customer contact / delivery instructions for that specific order differ from the itemized receipt, include them on it as well. Doesn’t hurt to have that info on the hard URL PDF in the event the app is being finicky.
3. Consider implementing necessary time windows on the “Arrived” and “Completed” buttons for customer delivery portion. While more veteran drivers are aware that we can hit Arrived 15-0 minutes prior to the target time, and Completed 0-10 minutes after, newcomers may not have been briefed on this and hit them too early or late when it would be otherwise preventable, messing up our performance records. I.e.; If Delivery Target is 11:30, Arrived Button should also have subtext (Earliest: 11:15, Latest: 11:30), and Completed Button subtext (Latest: 11:40).
4. Being able to send our dispatcher Emojis would be fun? :)
Great app but can use different order accepting sound that ( trrrrrrrrring trrrrrriiiiiiing ) goes too f head
