Everything about this app is terrible. From the absurd user interface, that seems to have been designed for anything but a touch screen mobile app, to the frequent lack of push updates that can leave you uninformed for hours at a time.

Blackberry for iPhone app is terrible. It’s slow, doesn’t sync up my passwords, and I request badge notifications and out of nowhere that stopped working. Was thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling but after reading the negative comments of those that did I’ll live without the badges.
BlackBerry had. Terrible product before and took the Good App after acquiring it to the dumps. Bad bad bad BlackBerry.

Much better than my previous government email app we used.
However; I am still not receiving alerts for new emails.
Also, no way to set outbound emails to be automatically encrypted.
Address these two things, and I’ll change from three to five stars.
So many false non-compliant devices 1/5
So many bugs. Installing profiles for each device is cumbersome in this process. Doesn’t have a great feature set when it comes to Volume apps and required apps. There needs to be an option to push profile policies to devices and push apps to devices on demand.

Lock itself with no reason. Want me to contact IT to get unlock key. It happened twice I really frustrated with this app. I don’t know why such company can still survive.
Doesn’t sync to Corp network 1/5
So in addition to my corporate password which changes on a given schedule, the UEM password requires changes on a separate schedule and is not the same password.
Additionally, no way to request an unlock key with out calling corporate help desk. But, the unlock code doesn’t work anyway- you must reinstall the app. Did I mention that it also randomly locks you out?

This is the worst app in the history of apps and email on a device. I support this device for attorneys as it seems to be the only thing out there currently since the original Good app was bought by Blackberry. BUT YOU GOTTA HAVE A PLAN. They don’t. I consistently get calls for reinstalls. Most time if you delete the Work app and reinstall you can get back online fairly quickly. But there are all kinds of problems that vary from user to user and that could be anything from passwords not syncing to just slow to connect to the server. Request for access keys are displayed and when you provide the key it shows as “failed”. Early on the app use to provide keys but now I haven’t had a key work FOR ME in years and we have had the app since the purchase from Good! Why not buy Good and leave Good as it was. It was more stable than this app. I can almost never get the app to work for my users by simply providing a key or confirming that the AD account is not locked! Oh, Bring back Being back The Good apps.

I currently can’t log in because I refuse to turn on notifications. I get hundreds of work emails a day (literally). I don’t want my phone alerting me every time someone emails me. Every update the program gets worse....

App upgrade locked the app. Had to remove and reinstall. Then notifications (for work email) were constant. So I turned off notifications and the app locked again.
Slow, Slower, Slowest 1/5
I have to use this tool as it is the only approved mobile email client we have, but if you are just looking - KEEP looking! The tool will give a notification that you got an email - shows sender and part of the title. When you open the app to see the email, the fastest I have ever gotten to see the note is 3 minutes. Typically closer to 5 min... the note I am waiting on now is now 7 minutes and it is still not loaded... Just says “Connecting”

When I launch the app, I get a message that says remote notifications must be enabled. Notifications are enabled for the app. There is no setting on the iPhone for ‘remote notifications’. Google search is no help and there is no support for the app.
Not updated & Time Consuming 1/5
I’m going on my fifth or sixth time installing this software with IT support. It has stumped the local IT support and we have had to escalate to Corp IT support. Needless to say, wasted hours have been spent on this extremely difficult and clunky software. Hopefully that means it is very secure....?!
The other thing is that it has no provisions for face recognition authentication. The new iPhones don’t have fingerprint authentication, but rather facial authentication. Without that feature enabled in the s/w I have to type my password every time I get into email. What a big pain in the arse...

For some reason companies IT departments like mine chose to use this. It’s terrible and unfortunate because there are better, and safer alternatives. Perfect example of legacy being out of touch with reality. Incompetence is the only reason this software exist.

After installed the app update, I lost the ability to use Touch ID to sign in. Touch ID was a great feature. Now I have to use my password to login each time I check my email.

Take it from me, my office is responsible for approximately 300 BUEM Client managed devices and growing as we transition from boring, locally managed (boring) supervised devices to the new millennium (you know, Y2K!). And let me tell you: every negative review you read is correct. I am a frontline customer service rep who gets to babysit each of our devices through a setup process which is frequently over 30min and occasionally requires 1.5 hrs to complete (after multiple failed attempts). Now, if you are at a top tier of your organization and need a big project to propel you to the next promotion (on the backs of your support techs and end users) then by golly THIS is the app for you! Promises of mobile content management, mobile email and CAC credentialing will sell your leadership (and all but the most cynical of your peers). By the time minor network and infrastructure problems break your email connectivity you’ll be sitting pretty in a corner office, laughing all the way to the bank! The eager anticipation of MCM will keep folks compliant well past the initial confusion and (well placed) resistance to change. And, by the time your organization realizes the mistake they’ll be fully committed (and fully dependent on your consolidated admin rights and private access to BUEM account creation)! Worried they’ll be upset with you? Don’t be! too much money (and labor, and lost work time) has been spent to turn back now, and no one will have the guts to step up and take responsibility! So, sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor, you old rogue. You got em again! Disclaimer- Now, this isn’t to say there aren’t cases in which this system would work. But you better have a well equipped, savvy, motivated, and well paid tech department with a well developed support infrastructure for addressing problems. It is NOT a good fit for a slow moving, non- tech savvy organization which requires a lot of internal coordination and consolidated control for IT and communications system regulation. It might be ok if your mobile devices weren’t mission critical, or your organization wasn’t scared to death of IT (like tinfoil hat level scared).

Forced by my agency to use this application. If it worked it wouldn’t be an issue. It doesn’t though. Previously called “Good For Enterprise” which is the MOST ironic name ever for a horrible app.
Download experience was difficult and failed several times. Requires modifying other applications and set ups. I’d rate a zero if possible.

The configuration was time-consuming and required multiple attempts. It finally was successful with some hand-holding from the local IT support at work. We believed Touch ID from the App Store had to be disabled for a successful install.
In general, the application and services are an improvement over the Good application. The user interface colors are muted relative to Good (couldn’t stand the red). No issues after a few days. No issues with battery usage, either. I turned off unnecessary notifications and there is a battery-saving mode within the app itself. I don’t understand the low ratings, which prompted me to write this review.

The app is awful to set up and is barely functional. Resetting a password is near to impossible and any help desk you use struggles to help because the Blackberry servers are down so often.

Hopefully somebody from BlackBerry team will read this as it challenging to get through to their online or phone support. This is the 2nd or 3rd Time in a month my blackberry UEM Clyatt has suddenly crashed and then I spent over an hour with my company is technical support to try to get it reinstalled after much effort to do so! Blackberry Ream: PLEASE fix this app to be far more stable for enterprise client usage!!

The blackberry apps do not load properly. I finally got this to work but then the next time i accessed the app, it went through the authentication process like i hadn’t put my credentials in. And it did it every time i accessed the apps. I would close the app and access blackberry access or blackberry connect and it would open. Makes no sense. Now it won’t open at all. Screen is white when i try and open any bb app. You guys need to work this out. Totally frustrating and time consuming just to get a look at an email.
