I need this for my new Apple Watch Ultra 5/5
Really enjoying this but I would like to leave my huge iPhone at home and be able to hear the audio on my Apple Watch. I wonder if I am the only person that wants this feature.

I got some offer to ”try for free” for a year for like $99 and changed it to a month for $15 instead, better to try with less commitment l thought.
To my surprise it immediately charged me and gave me no option to cancel the payment.
I tried it out for a bit but it wasnt really for me and l canceled, but l seem to not get any money back, so beware of their shady tactics.
Makes me wanna plant stinging nettles in their yard.
Get a discount but no free trial 1/5
If I am interested in the app, I would like to pay the cheapest membership possible. Times are tough. But to offer the best price without having seen what the app is even like, makes me question, at least in part, whether I should be giving my hard earned money to people that won’t even let me try the app without agreeing to a higher price. Does it exude a n air of an intelligently designed app and pricing structure? What a shame and waste of my time. The ads make it seem like it’s built by people that understand people. Doesn’t seem so.
No App management 2/5
Content is great, otherwise I wouldn't care that the interface as awful. You have a queue, you may add to your queue. You WILL listen in the order you add! Unless you interrupt with something else, then the one in progress is lost in the abyss where you have to find it and finish it right now or add it back to the end of the queue. Drag and drop IS a thing! You could manage a list easier than this on any device 10 years ago.
Stop buying books or not that many 5/5
This app, is organized and has made it so that I learn what I need to learn in a short time. It has really helped me take my learning serious and if you’re someone like me who likes to learn get this app!
App and website won’t allow me to cancel my subscription 1/5
Support stopped responding to me when I asked to cancel.
They told me to clear my cookies and try again.
Cancel button won’t load in the app
Tried on 2 separate browsers across 3 devices
It either won’t load at all or I get a gateway 504 error saying the website is unresponsive.
My subscription is set to renew in 3 weeks and I don’t want this terrible app anymore.
I don’t even want a refund! I just don’t want to get charged again for a full year.
The Wealth of Nations 5/5
I have tried for a while to find time to reread classics until I realized that it was a uthopic attempt. Then I discovered blinkist and found how to review a dense book on classic economic thought such as “the wealth of nations” in 11 minutes. If… it makes me want to know more I can consider reading the whole thing but at least I succeded at reviewing the Basic concepts.

Very encouraging! Love that it gets us to truly embrace who we are created to be!Also it gives the importance of balance between work and play, that both are important.
The author was dealing with a complex subject that plagues our society today. How each of us looks at commitment as a set of archaic values of the past. Where is commitment respected and stressed to young and old as an bond that heals communities and carries strength.
💕Thank You 5/5

Be advised that what they call a seven day trial period is actually a six day trial. I was planning to cancel on day seven (even had it in my calendar) but was charged on day six. On Wednesday Aug 24 I received an email reminder saying I had two days left in my free trial. How nice they send a reminder I thought! But then the next day, Thursday August 25 I find I was charged!! One day later. They lied and they are doing this purposefully to trick their trial subscribers into paying. I listened to several of their summaries and just found they were too short to be helpful, and quite frankly boring. I had no intention of signing up and now I want my money back. Luckily I send screenshots of everything to PayPal and they were able to get my money back.
Yes, I missed out on illustrations and examples, but I received the content I needed and probably would not have read the entire book anyway.
Blinkist is life changing 5/5
Every book lover should be using this app. The short nuggets of knowledge has helped improve my quality of life.
Listen while you exercise! 5/5
I listen Blinkist during exercise, watering the lawn and garden, doing yoga, running errands in the car, etc…. I find it therapeutic and a helpful stress reducer. It’s entertainment for your ears!
free trial issue 1/5
please be aware that this app will immediately charge you $99 the day your free trial ends. this is an unethical free trial system in my opinion and it’s just astounding to me that this app is priced at almost $100 paid up front
My go-to app for daily commute and pre-sleep routine 5/5
Blinkist has become my favorite app while commuting and preparing to sleep. Having the power to consumer a non-fiction book in less than 20 minutes is empowering to someone like me who struggles with non-fictions. Don’t get me wrong; I can consume fictions like crazy, but if I must read non-fiction, I’d choose Blinkist.
I clicked a link to listen to a series that gave the essence of all of Brene Brown’s books. I discovered I was required to sign up for a free trial to Blinkist in order to listen to the series. I decided to do this and went through the whole process of signing up last night. And today I cannot find that Brene Brown series anywhere. What’s going on? Where is it?
Practical and Thought Proviking 5/5
Some times you are so immersed in situations it hard to see past the immediate situation. The tips listed in this book provide a different perspective and really make you think about your own situation giving realistic and sound advice to start making positive and pro-active change . I really like the advice about keeping a gratitude journal! You don’t realize how good your life is until you mast a list and write it down. Things happen for a reason and sometimes you have to be flexible, adjust and go with the flow. Counting your blessings goes long way and learning to say “NO” is a good thing!
Nice service, weak app 3/5
By Wind n sand
I like all the books and offerings, but it is hard to control my list. When I see a new book, I can’t switch without losing whatever I’m in the middle of. It is hard to queue up a list of things to read.
If I had this in college…🤔…I’d be Elon 2.0 today.. 5/5

Pretty good but could be great 4/5
By Mimdful Wellness
I love this app because I am always interested in learning more. I appreciate not having to spend and spend and spend to buy books. After listening to some of the books on blacklist I’ve actually purchased the books. But I don’t always have to.
Unfortunately, there have been too many books that I cannot access on this app. I look forward to the booklist growing. Thanks!
Genius app!!! 5/5
I wish I would have started using this app sooner!! It’s amazing!
Content is great but the app makes it near impossible to access 1/5
The membership is a bit step and out of touch with the market, and considering their system backend is so prone to errors that it recommends contacting support for simple personal info changes instead I don’t find it trustworthy as an experience in general. I already reached out to support and they were unable to assist and instead blamed me for trying to protect my personal information.
It’s a shame.
It’s a trap 1/5
By trapped under tiny books
I canceled my subscription and deleted the app like I was supposed to using the steps they said to use. Yet one month later my bank’s fraud department is flagging a charge of $99.99 trying to be billed to me mind you on a new debit card # I just received since closing out this app. WTH! How do you stop these people from taking your money how do you stop being a member. This is so messed up I don’t have the words. It’s just a money hungry SCAM!!!

Digestible Bites 5/5
I like this app because it breaks down reading into small portions, allowing me to read portions of the book progressively over time.
Free! <3 5/5
Love having something new curated for me to read every day. Previously i did the 75 hard challenge without this and it was a bit of a challenge. Looking forward to using the free summary per day to get my 10 nonfiction pages of reading in and becoming my best self! :D
Beware of the Free Trial! SCAM ALERT 1/5
They charged my card on day 6 after they sent to me an email reminder that I had 2 days left of my free trial. Received an email Monday morning, Tuesday after work while in the chair getting a haircut, they charged my credit card $99. After emailing their customer service with two exchanges, they referred me to Apple to get a refund and it was “my fault”. 2 days is 2 days, not 1.5. Bad customer service experience, what else is a scam?
Posting to all of the socials after this.!
For the Ages! 5/5
I mean the “aged” like me, almost.
Really love the selections and quality. Topics well organized, like a great librarian in my phone, or pad, who’s read everything and knows me well.
I’ve one complaint though, and it’s the cost. Things are tough on a fixed income, and I and other older folks would dearly love a discount.
Recently I’ve had some tough months and had stopped most all my subscriptions. So when Blinkist came due and I’d missed it, the $99 for the year hit hard. If it had been $39 or even $69 I’d have not felt so crushed.
Makes me seriously consider whether I should continue or not.
A suggestion? Since I’ll turn the Great Seventy this December, how about a “gift” to the old, and somewhat wise, with a lifetime subscription for everyone upon their 69th birthday!?
Of course I respect your needs and desire to find your own retirements, so maybe just a steep discount to say…$29? Since it’d be nice to imagine being so young, and rich, and healthy, again.

Amazing what you can learn and relearn in the blink of an eye.
They make it difficultTo cancel and no customer service. 1/5
I didn’t have the app for a while
And thought my subscription ran out. I then received a bill for$100 and tried to cancel. No way to contact the company and they make you keep the entire year once you auto renewal.
Best investment ever 5/5
Best investment I’ve ever made. I have learned so much from Blinkist that I never could have learned otherwise. I don’t have the time or patience to read or listen to a full book. Blinkist has given me the most important information I need to succeed professionally and personally in a format that I can actually use. It is priceless to anyone wanting to grow their knowledge base.
Game Changer 5/5
Too many books, too little time?
This brilliant app solves this problem in masterful fashion. Books are systematically analyzed and broken down by experts who do not interpret but methodically create a synopsis that faithfully reflects the contents of each book. Also, written bullet points help the listener to follow and recap the content.
One week free trial, nothing to loose.
This app is frustrating! Can’t cancel free trial! 1/5
I’ve followed instructions to cancel free trial but when I get to settings the links aren’t active. I can’t get to a place to cancel a trial I don’t want! There’s no way to contact someone.
Collaborative Intelligence 5/5
All the ideas presented in this article are great. It enhanced other ways to consider in a group discussion. It’s not only about ways of learning but cognitive styles, asking questions, staying on course with a goal. I have 3 things to add: a) author should also take into consideration the amount of time allowed for such discussion. If the leader is adept at skills mentioned in conducting such discussions, then the goal can be accomplished within a reasonable amount of time; b) in the “yes, but..” issue, one can appreciate the value of an idea by repeating or praising the value of the idea. The “but” could come in the form of a question, esp. when dealing with a person with a fragile ego; 3) questions can be loaded such as with assumptions, etc. So questions can be reworded by the leader in a way that can be heard by the group.
Thanks for the article. I learned a lot from it,

I am addicted to blinks! This replaced music radio stations during my long commute to and from work! Easy to listen summaries about everything non-fiction. Very easy to listen and understand. If you have time to read, they also have a written summary in the app. Absolute time saver. Straight to the point. Very easy to follow. The premium subscription is equal to a purchase of one-two books. With blinks you get to “read” tons of them in a very short period of time! I also LOVE their shortcasts!
This app has so much to offer for just a small investment of your time. Who doesn’t have 15 minutes to invest in themselves?
I only regret not, giving these incredibly talented narrator's the feedback they deserve.
I don’t understand why everyone doesn’t subscribe to Blankest!b. Adults think they are too busy but U think the younger generation should see all this app has to offer.
You will be a reader 5/5
I have always struggled with reading coz I always hated the small not so important pages in any book. This app literally made every word and sentence valuable and important. It made reading fun and straightforward to the point. Highly recommend to ppl who don’t like to read 250+ pages.
They just want your money 1/5

Not a bad app in its general idea but not worth it in the end. Don’t get it. They will charge you $100 a day before you have to cancel your subscription. When you reach out about it they say “there’s nothing we can do” and you have to contact apple. It wouldn’t be a big deal if it were too late but something seems fishy about this company.
Re: your response. Thanks for responding but my problem is I received an email saying I had two days left, then not even 24hrs later I was charged $100. I believe apple will refund it but what felt weird was being charged a day before the email said.
I love Blinkist! 5/5
By The Little Mermaid94
The app is personalized by my interests, and the blinks have great content and are super convenient. It gave me an option to select categories and personnel I am interested in. The short blink segments are great to learn new things in a sizable bite. Not too long not too short! I’m a fan!
I should have subscribed long ago! 5/5
By abraaaa ha
I know Blinkist for years but never think about subscribing because it’s a pricey, but life took me where I have to subscribe to it and it’s one of the best decision i made this year! I can learn and get through a lot of books that i always want to read. It helps me improve my life in the subject that i focus on. Definitely will keep continuing with the subscription until there’s better app lol
Cool service, terrible app! 2/5
Blinkist is pretty great and I love their content, but the app is absolute garbage. Crashes at least once per blink, sometimes twice. It’s a bummer that good service is marred by such poor app development.

My favorite new APP 5/5
I heard about this APP and instantly got it. I now am able to listen to the best books on the world and I average 7 per week. A mentor once told me it is okay to not read a whole book yet make sure you read the highlights that are the most important. I thought if the most successful person I know does this then I better give it a shot. Shortly after I discovered Blinkist and who it’s just what the doctor ordered for me. Thank you for creating such a great resource for my growth.
Canceling is NOT EASY 1/5
It will be $100 if I can’t cancel and their instructions for cancellation are not right they tell you to go to the settings and hit cancel and there is NO CANCEL OPTION in the settings.
Becoming a better person 5/5
I feel that by learning and getting all the new knowledge is available through the blinks I become a better and more relaxed person.
