Good idea...poor execution 2/5
Why can’t I buy the book summaries separately? I don’t want a $100+ subscription. Deleting this app
I feel smarter already 5/5
Blinkist is the best “non movie/tv” (ex: Netflix) I’ve ever downloaded. I feel smarter every single day that I use Blinkist.
Life Changing! 5/5
By Information and fun!!! Yah
This is truly life changing! I love learning and this app allows me to learn key points in minutes! This is one of the best apps ever created, in my opinion.
Great app 5/5
By ELa Carri
My only request is for people who don’t pay the subscription. Could you change the page the apps open to the new book for the day?
Apple Watch 5/5
Would be great to get an Apple watch version so I can stop using my phone so much
This app isn’t free, it’s $100. If they’ll lie to you before you’ve even downloaded, do you really want them editing your reading materials?
Exactly What I Was Looking For!!!! 5/5
Much more informative than podcasts. I have been listening to it all day. Excellent editing!
Great app for professionals 4/5
You always waking me with great insights. I am pushed to think hard and again. Love it!!
Business and politics 2/5
The free books they have are usually about business which I have no interest in (self help, not something you would study in an MBA course).
Also political, like books about how bad Trump is (but of course not the opposite views...)
Won’t play anything! 1/5
So I just downloaded this app and went to play something and it gives me error of internet connectivity is down. Well other apps and services work just fine so I know that’s not the case. Get this fixed and i can come back and offer a different review. As of now this app is junk.
Brain on Steroids 5/5
I’m able to consume more content in a form that works for me. I use audio when walking, driving or riding my bike and skim the summaries when I’m able to read.
Engaging Employees 5/5
Thank you for sharing! However I had done this already all of my lifetime. However unfortunately sometimes certain positions didn’t reward myself tremendously financially for the total energy and as well as engagement in a very long time of employment. However I still take away from those experiences with an attitude that it as well was a tremendous amount of learning experiences as well as physical activities as well. And no matter what they paid me. I had gained knowledge.
Blinkist is a great way to get the meat and potatoes out of a book in a short amount of time. It’s great for making the most out those situations where you find yourself with a 10 minute break or wait.
Fantastic App 5/5
By Andi Parker
Being able to read articles in bite size chunks is perfect for a busy lifestyle. One of the best apps I’ve come along in a long time and totally worth the yearly subscription cost. Keep up the great work.
Not very smart people reviewing 3/5
People complaining about not having C.S Lewis ? This is a non fiction app. Giving three stars because it crashes in IOS , on my android works great .
Horrendous app absolutely horrible 1/5
This app is trash cuz almost nothing is free u have to pay to read the books and u can only read like the magazines and stuff absolutely horrible I hate it
Blinkist - yei! 5/5
Thank you for this app! Very helpful! This is the way I can “read” all the books I have on my list! 🙂
I really want to love this app but their stance is far from centrist, I also find their choice of texts very anti-religious - especially against Christian philosophy. They actually have several books asserting that religion is detrimental. I would actually be ok with this if they had some semblance of balance but there is none as far as I can see - just one-sided. Remember to keep a critical mind when reading or listening to anything they produce.
End of poverty 4/5
My first book on blink list. Have this book and was not able to get through it on a timely basis. Appreciate the summary.
Nice but... 2/5

The voice of all the audio. Nails on a chalk board
App stole $80 headache 1/5
By Andrea Reviewer
Automatically renewed App after free trial and charged $80 without asking for Apple ID and password. Apple and Apps cannot charge without user consent. If you’re willing to go through this headache download the app. Not worth it.
Love at first read 5/5
I can’t believe I never heard of this app. It’s fabulous. The blinks are spot on and precise, and I don’t feel I missed out on reading the whole book.
Love the content, but the app has issues 3/5
I’m a loyal customer, but I find that the app has major connectivity issues - there are some blinks that don’t load, while others do. More recently, I’m unable to play the audio and the app cites connectivity issues, even though I’m connected to a strong WiFi network. The inability to read/play certain books is becoming highly frustrating.
Needs better filter-ability 4/5
By Simony Simon
Loving this product! I think it’s providing an invaluable service to people who don’t have enough time to read full books.
However, what needs serious work is the filter possibilities for my added books. I need semantic and qualitative filters, like what subject areas the books belong to, what topics they cover, and/or how welled rated they are by readers. Blinkist tries to “solve” this by allowing for manual tagging, but this does me no favors if I’m looking for something to read and haven’t read any of my books yet. Moreover, the overhead of adding tags is cumbersome. A better UX, such as auto-tagging and/or tag suggestions on adding a book to your list, could alleviate the issue. Regardless, Blinkist needs to be “smarter.” For a service seeking to simplify reading tons of awesome content, Blinkist sure makes it overwhelming to ultimately choose your book from your own list.
Disappointed by limited selection 1/5
Want to read about the stock market? I think they might’ve had a book by Nassim Nicholas Talib. Anything else? Well...not much really.
Want to read Christian apologetics? Well you won’t find any titles by Michael Heiser or William Lane Craig here. In fact Blinkist will do you one better. They don’t have so much as one book by CS LEWIS!!
If blinkist does in fact have any books of this vein they’re certainly not discoverable by doing something intuitive like typing the book title or the author’s name in the search bar.
Two broad areas of interest, multiple author searches, Z-E-R-O zero hits. Yeah you can have back the remaining days on that free trial.
Great concept. FAR worse than pitiful selection.
Feeling Inspired 5/5
Perfect summaries! I no longer feel as though my is filled with half read books. Poignant, relevant, and encouraging! Thanks you for such a breath of fresh air!
I love the read out loud functionality of Blink. 5/5
By Dr. Larry D. George
The reading of this book really came alive for me of the narrator voice is pleasant and very clear and I was able to visualize many of the aspects of the book that probably would’ve missed it I read silently. I wish that other book readers have this function because it really helps when you drive or we want to lay back and just listen.
Great Service but no Airplay Support 4/5
Overall I find the format of simple summaries of books very convenient. However, why aren't Airplay options available in the app? The only way I've found to access Airplay controls is to lock your phone and use the default Apple lockscreen controls. Not very intuitive at all...
Like it***** 5/5
I was using audible trying to find audiobooks, it was a lot more difficult to find books I enjoyed. I ended up only finishing about 1/3 of the books because they were not ringing home. Then they had there return policy where after about 8 audible books returned online, they would make you call them to refund more. So ended up not, And became inconvenient to experiment with buying a audio book.
So far Blinkist has been helpful with not having to commit to buying a book, while also enjoying listening only 15 mins of the a books summary. Its definitely helping me enjoy my day at work doing montenous things, at least now I’m activating my brain while being guided through amazing and valuable knowledge from there recommendations list, Thanks Blinkist. P.s not trying to blast audible they have a good thing goin on, now if I really like a summary of one of the books I can go buy it from them, but finding more than enough content on with Blinkist!! so that won’t be for awhile*
The free daily samples are too biased 1/5
Maybe have a bit more variety when choosing which books to showcase
Try this app!! 5/5
Seriously Give this a try! This is a great way to get highlights from amazing books. This is particularly helpful on topics for self improvement or “ how to” concepts. It allows me to gain the main themes of the literature. Brilliant!! Support this app
Every review has misspellings so that should tell you something about this app. “Who’s got time to read?” People that want to learn make time to read. Intelligence and understanding are not quick fixes. This is a sad candy bar. Plus you have to login to just to even use it.
Super Star App 5/5

Awesome app. Insightful reading without consuming too much time
It is a great app
Can’t access app 1/5

I’ve subscribed for the full year but not able to access any content. It’s locked.
Wrote email to no avail.
Good but you have to pay 3/5
Its good but its too bad you hqve to pay so much to access good information
By miss c m brown
With little time to sit and read a book, listening to summaries and excerpts from books is fascinating and enriching. Car rides, chores, and cooking is more fun when a good audio blink book is added! I love it!
What we need in our life 🙌🏼 5/5
This is exactly what I need, cut throat to the point no drawn out examples. The message is streamlined and I’m receiving it! Thank you 🙌🏼
So convenient 5/5
I love the ability to either read the Blinks or listen to them. There is a wide variety of current topics. And the narrators voices are always pleasant.
How can I unsubscribe? 1/5

Best Ever! 5/5
By Little Scholars
Love that I get email alerts to notify me of the book topics that I can quickly look at and decide if it’s of any interest to me. When it is an interest to me, with my fast, busy paced life being a business owner, the audio “snip it’s” (is what I call it) are perfect. They are short and to the point. It’s the only way my busy life allows for me to gain more knowledge or just enjoy a few minutes of quiet enjoyable reading. Thank you Blinkist!
New feature 5/5
By Omid S. P.
Thanks for your awesome app. I really enjoy when I’m reading on Blinkist and I have the chance to read and grasp the main idea of any book just in a short period of time.
Now, I have a suggestion for your app. Since English is not my mother tongue language, I have to check hard words on the dictionary and sometimes it takes too much time and make me feel mundane. So I want to suggest to add an online dictionary to your app and just by tapping on the word it shows its meaning with pronunciation and even some good examples.
In this case, your app will become much better and helpful, of course from my point of view 😅
Great app to have! 5/5
Awesome! Now I’m reading three books a day! I know someone thinks it’s a shortcut, not the same as reading an actual 200-1000 pages of a book... but still better than 0! Informative, straight to the point, the nuggets... I think it’s a revolutionary app that will improve life of anyone who has in their phone. Times changes and everything runs so fast we have to accept the change in our old way too. Fast read is a new way to read!:)
Bluetooth pause not working 3/5
The condensed books are awesome!
Unfortunately, I can not pause audio with a Bluetooth headset. All other audio apps I am able to pause with my bluetooth headset; however, Blinkist currently does not have this functionality working like other apps do.
Buyer Beware 1/5
By Jafar Zaki
I get the strategy. You want people to sign up for the free trial, forget about it and collect a monthly payment from them. That’s fine.
But why on earth would you auto enroll people for a YEARLY subscription??????? If I forget, shouldn’t I be charged for ONE MONTH???? I have never heard of this strategy before and it is absolutely mind boggling.
Customer service is non existent, so I basically just spent $70 for an app that is NOT WORTH IT in my opinion, and I cannot get refunded. I sent an email over a month ago and still no response.
Trash app, trash company, I hope you go under.
This is the best app for bite sized reading and I love it...I am a big fan of books but I don’t make time to read them anymore so I go for the summaries that Blinkist offers.
I thought the books would tell the whole story!
Option of Audio and clarity is superb
Blinklist claims to be transparent why not disclose price if subscription? 1/5
What is the price?
