An easy way to make sure you read, and enjoy it 5/5
On the trial right now but plan to renew. I’ve enjoyed the fact that I can finish a single blink in 10-30 minutes in the morning before work.
It would be a great addition to the app if I could see a list of all of the blinks that I have completed. People enjoy seeing numbers grow :)
Perhaps a 4th section on the Library tab: Saved, Favorites, Highlights, Completed.

It’s a really good app

Shady payment practices 1/5
By lars lexa
They charge you on the 6th day of the free trail for the full year subscription price to f $108, not the 7th as you would expect. They provide no refunds since you are “renewing” your subscription, and try to push the issue off onto Apple. I had over $100 that I do not have taken from me by this company. Thanks for stealing my grocery budget for the week.
Any potential I ever had to use or recommend this app is gone. Companies that treat their customers like garbage deserve to fail.
No free review. I don’t use Evernote I use OneNote and GoodReader for better and worse. 1/5
I’m not subscribing without a FREE preview. I browsed for the classics and didn’t see them. It looks like advertising for new books. I’ll research further and update my review. Perhaps vendor will reply.
Don’t fall for the Trial 1/5
Wow, it’s been quite sometime since I’ve come across such an unethical and potentially illegal charging scheme. They lure you into a seven day free trial but they will charge you the full amount before the seven days are up. And when you try to cancel and get your money back within your seven days, they tell you they have nothing to do with it and that you have to talk to Apple since the payment was processed through them. They take no accountability and pretend that they weren’t the ones who CHARGED YOU in the first place. I will never purchased from this company under any circumstances
Great way to checkout a lot of different books to determine what you want to read. 5/5
By Entrepeneur in training
I use Blinkist to quickly review a lot of different books to see what I am really interested in before buying them to read. It is also a great way to get the key points of a book of general interest that I would otherwise not have the time to read or listen to on audible. I am a busy entrepreneur running a company and managing employees, culture, product, sales and clients. I have gained a lot of great leadership, management and communication skills from Blinkist. Incredible efficient use of time to explore a lot of ideas.
Good Synapsis 4/5
Some of the synapsis are great and some books I have read seems like they underserved, however, you can only ask so much out of 15mis. I think theirs is a great way to decide whether to invest in a full audiobook or paper copy. 4/5 stars.
My favorite 5/5
I will invest in this app really
You have ruined Blinkist! 1/5
By Co Checker
I have gone from this is a wonderful app to canceling it. I am sick of Blinkist being the mouth piece for Trump / America hating nonsense. I am no Trump lover, but ENOUGH already!
Did not receive free trial 1/5
Beware. I signed up for the 7-day free trial, however I was charged the $15.99 monthly fee on day one, before I could even find out what Blinkist had to offer. I’m very disappointed at the false advertising and am attempting to get my money back.
Perfect bite sized book snacks between Audibles 5/5
I listen to an Audible book 3-9 times a week and alternate between fiction and nonfiction. Sometimes I am traveling or have business meetings or jet lag and cannot keep the attention and focus to keep 20 characters or dates or concepts in my mind.
By playing Blinkist books at 2x normal speed I can squeeze in a book while standing in line, riding in an Uber or as a bedtime story. These short and predictable burst are nice complements and I can always buy the Audible version if I like what hear on the Blinkist version.
I also like the 3rd person referring to the author. Listening to so many audiobooks, I get weary of hearing the personal pronoun “I...I...I...” hundreds of times a week. I just want the information, not to be the author or be forced to see through his or her eyes, especially when the author is a whiner or complainer or bragger.
There is a cool dispassionate neutrality to the Blinkist summaries.
So, I’m a happy customer and hope my friends all sign up and raise the number of books they absorb the key messages of by one or two orders of magnitude per year.
Be very careful with the subscription 1/5
I signed up for the trial and forgot to cancel it when I didn’t like the app.....then got nailed for the $119 year subscription. It’s pretty bad when you get hit that hard for a simple mistake.
I contacted them and they sent back an email with some excuse that I purchased it through iTunes and can’t do anything. They know what they are doing, the app isn’t that great so why not count on a few folks to forget to cancel the auto subscription, why not hit you for just one month like most others? Because they know the app isn’t that great!
Huge fan 5/5
Love it for many reasons. Top two: First, it’s so much fun brain shopping for whatever interests me today. Second, it’s a quick and convenient download synopsis of books that intrigue me. I’m buying books again because of Blinks.
Game Changer 5/5
Blinkist is a game changer in every sense of the word
Nothing is free but the app installation 1/5
Pathetic app. After installation anything you want to try it demands you to have a paid subscription.
A great use of time learning...learn quickly 5/5

Understand how brain learns, as an MD who treats all ages w ADHD, how brain processes is vitally important!
Good way to “cheat” reading books 5/5
By piper s chap
The only thing I don’t like is the automatic subscription renewal with no way to disable. Guess I’m stuck with this app!
Needs CarPlay Support 4/5
Due to a job change I am no longer able to take the bus for my daily commute and now have to drive. This has made me realize that this app really needs CarPlay support. Without it the usefulness is diminished.
Very disappointed. Never received app after paying $90 1/5
I purchased the annual plan and it was never delivered. The company charged me in May, and has not refunded me. I have contacted them 5 times, and have not received a response (except one who said someone would get back to me and they never did). I have never had this happen with any other app. Odd and very disappointed with customer service.
$100 negative option super pathetic 1/5
Before you can see any content, they try to force you into a $100 commitment which you then need to cancel to avoid charges. Gee why not let me decide after I’ve at least read one book or at least seen what books are here? Tricking people into paying $100 because they forget to cancel is the most pathetic business model imaginable and shows this company doesn’t have enough confidence in the value of their content to pay voluntarily, not by forgetfulness. Also checking the in app purchases it looks like they hit every imaginable price point. Subscribe early and you’re a sucker. Your enthusiasm for the app will be rewarded with the privilege of paying three times as much as those who waited for the marketing garbage games to kick in. Super. Also, the 1970s called. They want their Cliffs Notes back. This company needs to stop acting like they invented something so new and revolutionary.
Excellent synopsis 5/5
I’m in the free trial period. Loved the highlights of Mark Levin’s book, Unfreedom of the Press Got all the key points in about 15 minutes. I wish it wasn’t so expensive. Wish there was a senior discount or veteran discount.
A total plus! 5/5
This app has allowed me to save time and read some of the best books on the market.

Horrible app 1/5
By Bruno Braunbär
He idea is okay and one you manage to listen to a book it isn’t bad.
However, the app is the least intuitive app ever. It is horrible and the developer seems to assume all users want to read rather than listen to the books.
Fix the app. Using it is incredibly frustrating.
Too Much $$ 1/5
$99 a year to unlock the books. You get one book for free. Great idea, just hoped it was really “free,” as advertised. Shame on me!
Would be nice if we had the ability to add notes along with or in addition to highlights.
Need the ability to read with phone horizontal or vertical, like Kindle.
Great app overall.
For the busy reader 5/5
I have always read “snapshots” in my business and personal growth books....obviously it’s a thing! Love this app
Great for life-time learners! 5/5
I am someone who simply cannot get enough education and information from books. The only problem is that I often do not read very fast and prefer to get to the heart of the issue in non-fictional books. Blinkist takes that information and consolidates it into easily understandable text to get a good grasp on the subject matter without being too verbose. In other words, it’s perfect for my insatiable appetite for new knowledge that helps me understand concepts and broadens my horizons personally and professionally.
This is one of the best apps I have ever used.
Android or Apple. Not both 3/5
By Creative Slice
iPad app does not allow login using Google. This means I need to create two accounts to read on Android phone and ipad.
I had to delete app and just use web version until this is fixed.
SCAM!!!! STAY AWAY 1/5
I subscribed to this app by paying a whopping $75 and it tells me it does not recognize by subscription. Also, it does not provide any telephone or live customer service. So the only option I have is to email the support email address. Cherry on the top is that the subscription automatically renews itself!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this app.
Great app 5/5
I have listened to over 700 Blinkists. This is one of my favorite apps. It’s a great way to listen/learn during my commute to work.
Devouring new books every day 5/5
By Shawn G Madison
If you love to learn about business, self-improvement, or wellness, this is the app. I love how it breaks down awesome books into the key points. I’m tearing through books so much faster with Blinkist than I would otherwise. I recommend it to everyone!
E-clif notes? 5/5
I’ve read one book on Blinkist that I had read the full version of before and it was quite fulfilling and captured and condensed the story better than my original experience.
Tried to sign up but failed 1/5
I tried to sign up for an account but when I entered an email and password it failed without taking me why. Went to their site and searched for support and saw a link that said "Why we don't offer phone support." Decided then it's not with the hassle.
Another one of those money snatching apps. 1/5
I don’t understand how stuff like this is really even allowed.
This is just bunch of people taking your money.
They guaranteed money back if you are unhappy with their app that was a lie.
You get a trail then they charge your account 99.99 on the day you should be able to cancel it with out a confirmation. If you contact them with about the money back they send you to apple. Of course apple will do nothing. Pretty cool racket they have going on.
Nuggets of gold 5/5
By DR ANTONIE
I have read the blankists of books I’ve read previously. And I found that what I read in 15 minutes covers about 90% of what takes me many hours of reading.
My Heaven on Earth 5/5
As a writer myself, (and owner of over 1000 books) I am a voracious reader. Problem is, there are not enough hours in the day to read all the amazing titles available.
Blinkist is truly an answer to a prayer. Not only is it efficient to receive Blinks while walking my dog, doing dishes, etc., but also helps me discover titles, topics and authors to follow and books to purchase should I choose to add them to my amazing collection.
I have shared this app with fellow authors and ravenous readers, and ALL are so very grateful.
5-stars for Blinkist and its authors!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Blinklist has appeared at the perfect time... 5/5
Blinklist has appeared at the perfect time, for me and the positive changes I’ve been accumulating since I retired 9 months ago. Reading the first installment confirmed my progress so far. It ain’t easy to break old habits; but the instances where I’ve been successful, that 2nd wind rushes in and it’s so wonderful to fill the void with the next Good Habit, which is difficult in its own right.
The great thing about Blinklist? I can already see how it will speed the process of change by an order of magnitude!! Only 30 minutes after downloading, it’s like I’ve been struggling to see the details of a distant object by sight alone, and someone just handed me a powerful telescope!!
Organized, focused, fast, elegant!!
To the smart guys who’ve created Blinklist—thank you! Well done!!

Love this! 5/5
Where has this been all my life? As someone who loves to learn and who also has ADHD, this app is the perfect tool for me!!! Thank you!
The new normal 5/5
Future of reading- so important to get multiple perspective/opinions on how to go about personal and professional growth. Rather than spending a week on 1 book I can grow through 1 book while walking the dog in the morning or going to the gym.
Really creative and simple app that will revolutionize the way we read books.
Love reading fast 5/5
Great idea!! So much information in a brief and wonderful way! I can’t stop going on and wanting to read my next book! Thanks!!!
The best 5/5
This app has changed my life. Thanks to this app I can fight my ignorance in a rate that I thought it could never be possible. Also helps my creativity and level of complexity by reading about new ideas every day. This app is the best favor you can do to yourself. At least this is my experience.
Directional clarity 5/5
I am enjoying the opening up of the direction that appears to be opening clarity of where I am going. It is very spot on and I am feeling comfortable and not being distracted as usually happens. I am really liking the way the Blinkist sets up a space to move forward!
